Why Book a Tour of the French Riviera?

While many visitors choose to explore the French Riviera on their own, there are several reasons why booking a tour can be a great way to experience all that the region has to offer.

First of all, tour operators have extensive knowledge of the area and can provide an insider’s perspective on its history and culture. They also have access to exclusive locations that are not open to the public.

So why not take the hassle out of planning your trip and let a tour operator show you the best of the French Riviera?

The French Riviera - Monaco-Monte Carlo, Cannes, Nice, Antibes

Did the Euroadventures trip to the French Riviera for Carnival at the end of February. What a great trip! Had the owner of the company, Shaun, as our trip leader and he was fantastic. Showed us a ton of great sights in Monaco, Antibes, Nice and Cannes and recommendations for food and nightlife too. The Carnival parties were super fun as the streets were packed with the parade and floats. Really worth it going up in the carousel to get great views over the parade. Even though it was February, the weather was great and we even managed a few hours on the beach in Cannes (water was too chilly to swim though). We had an amazing all you can eat mussels dinner in Nice (local specialty being seafood of course), and all the food in general was fantastic. Overall the French Riviera is like a dream destination. So much to see and do in a small connected area with the cities and seaside towns. I really felt like we got to know the destination well even though the trip is just a 3 night weekend and that's thanks to everything Euroadventures showed us and the great itinerary!

Stunning French Riviera Tour

Stunning French Riviera

The hotel was in a trendy location and the hotel/airport transfers went well. It would have been nice to have spent more time in Eze and Menton. Also, the tours should have been split up so that the English speaking people were in one group and the French speaking people were in another group instead of combining them so that everything had to be said in both languages. For the most part though a nice vacation.

Pretty much delivers what they advertised, though huge crowds & lines at the Vatican in Rome & Versaille (King Louis-Chateau) near Paris, canceled any chance to get in either place (we were forwarned on pre-trip Tour-Radar description & on the tour). The multiple tour 'guides' were well trained, organized, & vry Friendly, though their thick accents & not often complete english grammar was often 'unpleasant', made Worse by one whose voice sounded hoarse thruout trip & who spoke TOO CLOSE/ie too Loud, to her microphone. Otherwise, a great trip & good Job by the Tour/bus Co. The early & at times 'tight' Schedule day to day & hr to hr. caused typical stress at times & was tough on our older 'group' (66 to 75). ALL of us ended up with bad Colds within a day of departure which sadly continued throughout the trip & days thereafter. If over 70, you'd better be in Vry Rested/excellent shape, or these busy bus tour trips will Kick your butt!!

Brilliant trip!.Because Intrepid do small groups we were able to get into the best locally run restaurants and really get to experience life like a local. We traveled by train and got to sit and chat with the locals (even picked up some top tips on where to go out) The tour leader was amazing, his knowledge of the 3 counties visited blew me away. He even booked us tickets to see Santana feat. Dave Matthews on the piano in a 2000yr old amphitheater in Nimes, something I would never had known about on my own. The tour was such a great mix of activities and free time. highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my tour from Paris to Barcelona, everything was organised well. The bus driver was so nice and drove us around safe and the guide Bruno was very knowledgeable of the places we went and made it interesting as well with some humour. Because of the heatwave some of the eating places were uncomfotable due to no aircon.

As a first-timer to Insight, and to group touring in general, I must say this trip was marvellous. France, of course, is so beautiful. Somehow each day managed to top the previous one. So many breathtaking moments. For me - my job was just to be where my guide, Emmanuelle, told me to be and try not to sleep through the alarm (whoopsie!). I didn’t have to deal with any of the details. What a vacation!! Emmanuelle was simply amazing - knowledgeable, organised, flexible and unendingly patient. I was tremendously impressed by her skill set - quite simply an excellent tour guide. A wonderful holiday - thoroughly recommend.
