Home Oceania Cruises Nautica

Nautica is a 684-capacity cruise ship offering a variety of voyages across the world for Oceania Cruises . Classified by Oceania as an ‘R-Class’ vessel, Nautica is the sister-ship of Insignia , Regatta and Sirena and is renowned for offering an informal onboard atmosphere and some of the most exceptional dining experiences at sea.

Oceania Nautica Staterooms & Suites

The accommodation on Nautica offers a choice of six stateroom categories (Inside, Ocean View, Veranda and Concierge-Level Veranda), and three categories of suite (Penthouse, Vista and Owners). All of the accommodation options onboard, excluding the Inside Staterooms, offer ocean views via either a window or a private veranda.

As part of the enhancements made during her refurbishment, Nautica’s Staterooms and Suites have been updated with beautifully-crafted furnishings, and exotic stone and polished wood finishes blending seamlessly into the line’s customary palette of blues and greys. The television sets in the accommodation have also been improved, with USB charge-points now as standard in all grades.

All of staterooms and suites aboard Nautica feature the following facilities and amenities:

  • Prestige Tranquility Bed
  • En-suite bathroom with a bi-fold door shower and Bulgari amenities
  • Flat-screen entertainment system (with satellite TV and a DVD player)
  • Writing/Vanity desk
  • Mini-bar with free bottled water and unlimited soft drinks
  • 24-hour room service and twice-daily maid service
  • Personal safe
  • Thick cotton robes and slippers

The Owners and Vista Suites also offer a separate living/dining area, an oversized shower and two flat-screen televisions.

Oceania Nautica Dining Rooms & Restaurants

As you might expect from a cruise line which is famed for offering the ‘Best Cuisine At Sea’, the dining options aboard Oceania Cruises’ Nautica are exceptional. Dining in all of the ship’s restaurants and eateries are included in your cruise fare, though the speciality venues must be booked in advance.

– Grand Dining Room : Offering a similar experience to that of a 5-star European hotel, the Grand Dining Room serves up a variety of fresh dishes every day.

– The Terrace Cafe : More informal than the Grand Dining Room, the buffet-style Terrace Cafe gives you the option of dining al fresco or inside.

– Waves Grill : Located on Deck 9, the Waves Grill is a one-stop shop for all your American Classics, including hamburgers, hot-dogs and milkshakes.

– The Bistro : French-country cuisine inspired by the family recipes of Oceania’s Executive Culinary Director, Jacques Pepin.

– Polo Grill (speciality): A classic steakhouse in every sense of the word, here you can enjoy succulent cuts of meat and delicious sea-food.

– Red Ginger (speciality): Oceania Cruises’ famous tribute to Asian cuisine.

– Toscana (speciality): An incredible Italian dining experience serving mouth-watering dishes that have originated from Oceania Cruises’ own Italian culinary staff.

Throughout your cruise, you can also enjoy Afternoon Tea at 4 pm in the Horizon’s Lounge or order room service should you wish to dine in the privacy of your stateroom or suite.

Oceania Nautica Entertainment, Leisure & Facilities

Life onboard Oceania Cruises’ Nautica is relatively informal – similar to that which you might experience in one New York’s boutique hotels. As such, the entertainment options are relatively low-key, though the main lounge often hosts cabaret performances, musical shows and lectures. In total, Nautica has five bars and lounges, with Martinis and the Grand Bar both favourite meeting places for pre and post-dinner drinks.

For health and fitness, head to Deck 9 where you will find a full-service gym or, for something a little more relaxing, enjoy one of the many treatments on offer in the Canyon Ranch Spa.

Other facilities on Oceania Cruises Nautica include:

  • Artist Loft – instructional classes led by talented artists (world cruises only)
  • Two boutiques – designer clothing, casual wear and souvenirs
  • The Library – a relaxing space in which to enjoy one of over 2000 books and periodicals
  • Pool (with two jacuzzis)
  • The Card Room

About Oceania Cruises

Oceania Cruises is characterized by first-class and modern luxury. The atmosphere and entertainment on board is typically American, but relaxation and recreation is absolutely in the focus. The luxury fleet offers four small ships for 684 passengers and two ships for about twice as many passengers. Due to the small size of the ships idyllic small ports and nice little coastal towns can be called, which makes the routes of Oceania Cruises particularly appealing. All ships convince with a personal atmosphere and excellent service. The board language is English.

The ship Nautica

As part of a renovation project in 2014 the Nautica was transformed into a almost new ship and now captivates with the finest elegance as the other fleet members. The decks are made of the finest teak, custom stone coating and high quality tiles. The lounges, suites and cabins aboard this ship are luxurious and feature neo-classical furniture. Four first-class restaurants with free choice of seats and dining time offer exquisite food, eight lounges and bars complete the culinary offer. There is also a fitness center and a spa area aboard Nautica. The 180-meter-long ship accommodates 684 guests at double occupancy. There are few children aboard, there is no childcare. In April 2022 the ship was renovated once again continues cruising with a new design.

Staterooms on board of Nautica

The Nautica offers 342 spacious and luxurious cabins, almost 70% of them with private verandas. The interior is characterized by traditional hardwood, fine fabrics, high-quality furniture and original works of art. The minibar with soft drinks, fine soft towels and bathrobes, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player with an extensive media library are just some of the amenities in the cabins and suites. A special feature is the "Prestige Tranquility" bed, an exclusive edition for Oceania Cruises, which ensures particularly high sleeping comfort.

Atmosphere on board of Nautica

400 well-trained service employees take care of only 684 guests - there is clearly no wish left unfulfilled! Explore the most fascinating destinations around the globe in an undisturbed atmosphere with the cruise line's luxurious ships. Even the outstanding cuisine, as Oceania Cruises itself says, the "finest cuisine at sea", contributes to the exclusive ambience on board. Nevertheless, the atmosphere remains warm, sociable and open, the service remains unobtrusive.

Food and Beverages on board of Nautica

On board four unique restaurants with exquisite food await you. The head of the dining area, the legendary master chef Jacques Pépin, inspires the chefs to culinary masterpieces. An unforgettable dinner begins with free choice of seating, giving you the freedom to dine whenever and with whom you want. There are no surcharges for dinner in any of the restaurants on board. You have the choice between the Grand Dining Room, the "Polo Grill", the "Toscana" and the casual "Terrace Café". Minor snacks are also available at the “Waves Grill”, afternoon tea or at the baristas in the popular coffee bar. 24-hour room service is also available.

Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation on board of Nautica

The variety of entertainment options on board ensures that there is something for every interest. Among other things, the ship offers a fitness center, where you can be active in sports, a spa for relaxing hours and soothing treatments, numerous lounges and bars and a Monte Carlo-style casino. Even readings, musical events and show programs in the evening are very popular with guests on board.

Top 6 Reasons to Join Vista’s 2026 Around the World Cruise

Our annual Around the World voyage is the ultimate global circumnavigation. In 2026 the bar is being raised even higher – you can cruise for up to 197 days aboard Vista , our newest ship, which debuted in the summer of 2023. Never before has a new luxury ship sailed on a world cruise as epic as this one. With the 180-day journey departing Miami on January 6, 2026, this journey of discovery will visit 43 countries on six continents and more than 100 fascinating ports. Two additional departure options offer additional choice and flexibility – the 197-day journey departing from Los Angeles on December 20, 2025, and the 120-day voyage departing from San Diego on March 7, 2026.

Below is our list of top reasons to join this incredible 2026 Around the World cruise.

  • Discover Destinations in Depth For many, a world cruise is a once-in-a-lifetime, bucket-list vacation. Our 2026 itinerary promises to be a truly immersive adventure. Our seasoned team of itinerary planners has included a number of extended port stays and overnight visits to provide extra time for in-depth shoreside discoveries. A number of optional Mid-Cruise Overland Programs will be offered, providing ample opportunity to explore each destination even more extensively. Perhaps you will journey to Luxor and the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes from Safaga. Delve deeper into one of the world’s most celebrated wine-producing regions: Bordeaux. Explore Ayers Rock and the Australian outback from the port of Darwin. Or just appreciate a glorious sunset from a seaside café in Santorini, Pago Pago or Honolulu.

  • Explore 81 UNESCO Sites From the uninhabited former penal colony of Devil’s Island in the French Caribbean to Mumbai, India’s bustling metropolis of 23 million residents, one of the top reasons to choose a world cruise is the sheer diversity of cultural experiences and natural wonders to behold. There are more than 80 must-see UNESCO World Heritage sites that are accessible within driving distance of our ship. Whether you are lured by the legendary rainforests in Brazil and Costa Rica or the opportunity to island hop from one idyllic South Pacific and Caribbean atoll to the next, this voyage offers a kaleidoscopic array of destinations, both near and far, including ancient treasures, scenic splendor, coveted coastal resorts and iconic world capitals throughout Asia, South America and Europe. Even better, a multitude of shore excursions will be offered to make the best of your time in every port.
