ABOUT BLACKPINK

One of the most massively successful K-pop groups in music history, BLACKPINK have redefined the global pop landscape since first bursting onto the scene in 2016. Along with boasting the #1 most-subscribed artist channel on YouTube, the South Korean quartet has achieved such boundary-defying milestones as scoring the highest-charting album by a female group in over a decade and becoming the first K-pop girl group ever to perform at Coachella (the largest music festival in the U.S.). Comprised of JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA—all immensely charismatic vocalists, dancers, and fast-rising fashion icons—BLACKPINK began their meteoric rise with their 2016 debut SQUARE ONE and further proved their crossover power with SQUARE UP (a 2018 release that quickly cracked the Billboard 200). Soon after signing with Interscope Records through a global partnership with YG Entertainment, the group made their full-length debut with 2020’s immediately iconic THE ALBUM . THE ALBUM shot to #2 on the Billboard 200 and landed three singles on the Billboard Hot 100: “How You Like That” (the iconic single that shattered several YouTube records, including fastest video to cross 150 million views), “Ice Cream” (a collaboration with Selena Gomez that broke the record for highest-charting female K-pop group on the Hot 100), and “Lovesick Girls” (a track that’s sold over 1.4 million copies worldwide, making BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group to sell over a million units). Through the years, BLACKPINK have also garnered a number of major awards (including three E! People’s Choice Awards and most recently awarded Best Metaverse Performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards where Lisa also made history as first K-pop soloist to win Best K-pop Act), collaborated with superstars like Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga, performed on “The Tonight Show,” and starred in < BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky> (a 2020 film hailed by the New York Times as an “endearing documentary that emphasizes each member’s individuality”). With over 9 billion career Spotify streams to date, BLACKPINK are now conquering the world with their recent album BORN PINK . The group is now touring the entire planet with their second studio album, already made the United States and Europe, while in 2023 the group will hit the road in Asia and Mexico.

blackpink born pink world tour schedule 2022-2023

The action will begin at Seoul in South Korea before moving to Dallas and Houston in the US on 25 October and 29 October, respectively.

Throughout November, BLACKPINK will mostly be touring North American cities including Atlanta (2 November), Hamilton (6-7 November), Chicago (10-11 November), Newark (14-15 November) and Los Angeles (19 November).

The group will begin its Europe leg on 30 November from London, moving on to Barcelona (5 December), Cologne (8 December), Paris (11-12 December), Berlin (18 December) and Amsterdam (22 December).

The Asia tour will start with a two-day concert in Bangkok on 7-8 January 2023, followed by Hong Kong (13-14 January), Riyadh (20 January) and Abu Dhabi (28 January).

As per the schedule, there will be no concert during February. BLACKPINK will resume their Born Pink  world tour on 4 March with a performance in Kuala Lumpur. This will be followed by Jakarta (11 March), Kaohsiung (18 March) and Manila (25 March).

BLACKPINK will hold their concert in Singapore on 13 May, which, as of now, is the last Asian city on their calendar. The group will subsequently perform in Melbourne (10-11 June), Sydney (16-17 June) and Auckland (21 June).

The world tour schedule released by the group ends with the words “AND MORE,” indicating that more cities could be added to the tour.

More about the album Born Pink

The Born Pink  world tour will be the third concert tour by the group. Their first was in 2018 named BLACKPINK arena tour. It was followed by the 2018-20 In Your Area world tour.

BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment had said in July that the upcoming world tour would be the largest ever by scale in the group’s history.

The announcement of the highly anticipated world tour came a day after the group announced the release date of its song “Pink Venom,” which is a lone pre-release single for Born Pink .

According to the announcement, the single will be out on 19 August at 12 am EST/1 pm KST.

The Born Pink  trailer was released on 1 August. Earlier in 2022, the group collaborated with PUBG Mobile for a special song “Ready for Love.”

It just gives us more motivation to go further than we ever dreamed of.” In January 2021, the band held their first virtual concert, The Show , on YouTube. What is BLACKPINK’s Born Pink World Tour set list?

BLACKPINK’s Born Pink World Tour set list mostly included songs from their second studio album, Born Pink , which was released on September 16, 2022. The album featured eight songs including BLACKPINK’s pre-single “Pink Venom” (which the group performed at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards) and the main single “Shut Down.” See the full Born Pink track list below.

  • “Pink Venom”
  • “Shut Down”
  • “Typa Girl”
  • “Yeah Yeah Yeah”
  • “Hard to Love”
  • “The Happiest Girl”
  • “Tally”
  • “Ready For Love”

Jennie teased the group’s 2022 comeback in an appearance on the variety show, The Game Caterers , in March 2022. “BLACKPINK is also making a comeback soon, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but since I’m the only BLACKPINK member here, I’ll just say it please look forward to it,” she said at the time.

The group’s management company, YG Entertainment, confirmed the album in a statement in August 2022. “The name for this comeback project is Born Pink , which implies the identity of BLACKPINK , which is never ordinary and will exude a fatal aura,” the statement read. At a press conference for “Pink Venom” on August 19, 2022, BLACKPINK explained the meaning of the song and how it represents the group. “Since our album’s title is Born Pink, we wanted to relay our identity in the song as much as we could,” Jennie said at the time. “Since ‘pink’ and ‘venom’ have contradicting images, we thought they were kind of reminiscent of us… we are named BLACKPINK and contradiction is our charm — we wanted to show that. It’s pink venom, a lovely poison, it’s words that most express us.” Jennie also explained later about how the “essence” of BLACKPINK” is “confidence.” She added, “Some worry that we might stray away from our identity, but we believe it’s the most distinct and clear way to represent us.”

“It was our sixth anniversary recently, time flies,” Jisoo added. “[Our fans] Blinks have waited for our music and waited for us, so I hope we can enjoy and have fun together for a long time.” Lisa described “Pink Venom” as a way for the group to “raise expectations for the upcoming album’s release and all the good songs there.” The group continued, “I can’t give away everything, but we want to play up our strengths and show us as we are while trying new things [on the album]. Listen to ‘Pink Venom’ and you’ll get a clearer picture of our second album.” Rosé added, “[Our songwriting team] played the song in the studio for us the first time, and it sounded really new to us. There were sounds we had never attempted before so we really rapidly decided to record it and wanted to perform it for everyone soon.”

Rosé also revealed her reaction when she first heard the “Pink Venom.” “I remember the first time I listened to the song in the studio; it was really new and sounds we never attempted before,” she said. “I just really wanted to record the song right away and show our performance.” Jisoo described “Pink Venom” as a combination of modern hip-hop with traditional Korean instruments like a geomungo, which can be seen in the “Pink Venom” music video.

Lisa also discussed the “powerful” choreography in the “Pink Venom” music video, and the song’s popular “fang dance” move. “We visualized a fang with our hands which most intuitively expresses the ‘Pink Venom’ concept; Everybody can follow it easily… there’s an impactful dance break at the end [of the music video], and the set is just amazing,” Lisa said.

The group also talked about why they aren’t concerned with “breaking records.” “Rather than breaking records, we have really focused on our new songs,” Rosé said. Lisa also teased BLACKPINK’s upcoming album and why the group chose “Pink Venom” as their pre-release single. “All our songs are really good…We wanted to show this [song] first to BLINKs,” she said.

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Finish it all up above ground, looking up to Stalins skyscrapers, and get the inside scoop on whats gone on behind those walls.

Know More about this tour

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

Traveler Reviews

This tour exceeded our expectations. Nikolai (Nick), our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and has a great personality. He didn't take shortcuts and really covered everything that was on the agenda in great detail. We saw beautiful metro stations and learned the history behind them, including many of the murals and designs.

We did the tour with Anna her knowledge and understanding of the History surrounding the metro brought the tour alive. Well done Anna!

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
  • Moscow subway system is the  5th in the intensity  of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).
