Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig rocks out on guitar while singing.

It’s finally time to dust off your best boat shoes.

Vampire Weekend just announced they’re heading out their 43-concert ‘Only God Was Above Us Tour’ this spring, summer and fall with special guests Mark Ronson, Princess featuring Maya Rudolph, Ra Ra Riot, Turnstiles, The English Beat and more to celebrate the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, due out April 5.

Toward the end of the nationwide run, Ezra Koenig and co. are slated to bring their impeccable indie rock to New York City for two back-to-back gigs at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6 .

For fans that don’t like late nights out in Manhattan, you’re in luck — the Sunday MSG show is a matinee, set to take place at 12:30 p.m.

Can’t wait to hear “A-Punk,” “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa,” “Campus,” “Oxford Comma,” “Harmony Hall” and the new record live?

As of now, tickets are available for all upcoming concerts and festival dates.

At the time of publication, some venues have seats going for as low as $43 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows on the run start anywhere from $65 to $165 before fees.

Wondering how much tickets will cost at the concert closest to you?

We’ve got all the information you’re looking for and more about Vampire Weekend’s ‘Only God Was Above Us Tour’ below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Vampire Weekend 2024 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found here.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Vampire Weekend Solar Eclipse concert in Austin

On Monday, April 8, the trio will perform a noon concert at Austin’s Moody Amphitheater during the total solar eclipse.

According to the venue, doors open at 11 a.m. and eclipse glasses will be provided at the show.

If you’re planning on conveniently calling out sick that day, tickets start at $109 before fees .

Vampire Weekend 2024 festival appearances

This year, Ezra, Chris and Chris are lending their talents to three major music festivals.

To find the one that best suits your tastes, we’ve listed all the essential information about each below.

Vampire Weekend set list

Although it’s likely Vampire Weekend will work the new album into the upcoming jaunt — they did name the tour after the record, after all — here’s a look at what they played at a concert on their 2019 ‘Father of the Bride Tour,’ courtesy of Set List FM :

01.) “Bambina” 02.) “Unbelievers” 03.) “Holiday” 04.) “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” 05.) “Sympathy” 06.) “Sunflower” 07.) “White Sky” 08.) “How Long?” 09.) “Rich Man” 10.) “Step” 11.) “Harmony Hall” 12.) “Diane Young” 13.) “Cousins” 14.) “A-Punk” 15.) “Hannah Hunt” 16.) “Oxford Comma” 17.) “Walcott”

Note: Based on our findings, the band mixed up what they played most nights . For a fuller look at what made the set list at other gigs, check out their complete concert history here .

Vampire Weekend new music

Ahead of the album’s release — the band’s first since the experimental two-track 40-minute “40:42” EP — Vampire Weekend dropped a pair of singles “Capricorn” and “Gen-X Cops.”

“Capricorn” is a gorgeous piano ballad that fits right in with the group’s Grammy winning “Father of the Bride.” Koenig’s soft, unassuming vocals glide over lush keys until the tune goes into overdrive two minutes in with discordant noise-rock before bringing it back to basics.

Clocking in at 3:47, “Gen-X Cops” transitions from an out and out garage rock anthem into something a bit more precious — a hard driving, head bopping indie anthem.

The two songs couldn’t be more different but both are distinctly Vampire Weekendian.

You can listen to both here .

MORE ON WALLOWS:

Wallows (composed of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston) have been best friends since the age of 11. They began playing music together in the LA music program Join the Band almost two decades ago and haven’t stopped since. In March 2022, the band released their Sophomore album, Tell Me That It’s Over, produced by 3x GRAMMY Award-winner Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele). TMTIO saw Wallows continuing on their ever-evolving journey of sonic exploration, fusing a vast array of musical ideas – from lo-fi post-punk and indie-folk to early ’90s dance-pop psychedelia – into their own one-of-a-kind creative vision.

TMTIO marked the full-length follow-up to Wallows’ hugely popular 2019 debut album, Nothing Happens, produced by GRAMMY Award-winner John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten). The album proved to be one of that year’s highest streamed debuts. In the live space, Wallows have headlined sold out shows around the globe and have performed at marquee festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, and more.

Olivia Rodrigo is having a moment. Tuesday at the first of a sold-out two-night stand at United Center, the singer-songwriter ensured everyone in the audience shared in it.

Touring in support of her “Guts” album, the 21-year-old vocalist brought to light concerns, sentiments and circumstances that largely impact teenage girls and women of all ages. Her inspired and inspiring performance was a combination high-energy concert, scream-therapy session, communal catharsis and stay-up-til-dawn slumber party. It displayed Rodrigo’s maturation from adolescent to young adult — as well as her interest in those who look to her as a role model and peer.

Rodrigo’s ability to relate to the predominantly female crowd transcended the surface connections forged at shows by most superstars. Her repeated calls for fans to yell, sing and enjoy themselves represented a more courageous and sometimes dangerous idea: the permission to be yourself. The sound of thousands of voices shouting every lyric back at her and the look of joy on many faces were indications Rodrigo got another key point across: her apparent normalcy.

For 95 minutes, she made evident her experiences don’t differ much from those of her listeners.

Having transitioned from acting roles on Disney’s “Bizaardvark” and “High School Musical: The Musical: Series” to international pop sensation, Rodrigo ranks alongside other young female artists — Billie Eilish, SZA, Dua Lipa, Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Karol G, Taylor Swift included — as proof that in the early 2020s, girls run the world. At least when it comes to record charts, ticket sales and outsized influence.

Two albums into her career, Rodrigo counts multiple No. 1 singles, a pair of No. 1 LPs, three Grammy Awards (and 13 nominations), seven Billboard Music Awards and a Billboard Woman of the Year nod among her feats. She’s also emerged as a conscientious voice. In addition to appearing with President Joe Biden to promote vaccinations, the California native has supported causes that aid homeless kids, hospitalized patients, war victims and individuals with epidermolysis bullosa.

Rodrigo’s activism extends to her own charity, Fund 4 Good, which strives to champion women’s rights. Her outspoken advocacy of reproductive health care and sex education recently landed her management in hot water with states that outlaw abortion.

But those opposed to Rodrigo’s stance won’t mute her messages. Though the megaphone the singer wielded to help broadcast the revenge fantasy “Get Him Back!” — complete with confetti and an unspoken announcement that the deluxe version of “Guts” with bonus tracks lands this Friday — doubled as clever theater, Rodrigo’s empowering statements resonated without supplemental help.

Backed by an all-female band, the singer did a little of everything while running through the majority of her catalog. Play a grand piano and reveal deep thoughts on a sullen ballad? “Drivers License.” Get filmed from below to suggest a violation of privacy before grabbing an electric guitar, banging out chords and jamming on her knees? “Obsessed.” Strip arrangements down to an acoustic guitar framework, casually sit on the stage and transform the arena setting into the kind of close gathering witnessed by besties at a sleepover? “Happier” and “Favorite Crime.”

In the context of modern arena tours, the production adhered to a similar simplicity. Save for a sequence where Rodrigo orbitted half of the venue atop the fold of a crescent moon as stars dangled from the ceiling, the fanciest aspects related to hydraulic platforms, concealed stairs and dry ice fog. The stage, extended with two runways, was framed by a high-definition video screen that transmitted live and pre-recorded content. Basic, albeit proven and effective.

The less to distract from Rodrigo, the better. She limited herself to four outfit changes (preference: crop tops and sparkly shorts or skirts). A dance squadron with mediocre choreographic skills accompanied Rodrigo on a handful of numbers, but the singer outshined everyone with her extroverted personality and animated movements.

Skipping, hopping, crawling, twisting, jogging in place, descending to floor level to slap hands: Rodrigo matched the carbonated fizz of her most upbeat materia. To emphasize certain lines in songs, she used gestures that often disappeared as fast as they arrived. Sticking a finger in her mouth; twirling her hair; rolling her eyes; outstretching her arms; circling her tongue around her lips; mock-saluting: Rodrigo understood how nuance can accent meaning — particularly when words surface at a rapid clip.

At times, they gushed akin to water pouring from a firehose. Rodrigo sang with a balance of hushed delicacy and emotive intensity, dividing time between dramatic ballads and freeing ragers. She eschewed perfection in favor of authenticity, and risked hitting bad notes rather than relying on backing tracks. Borrowing from new-wave, coffeehouse folk and, most prevalently, pop-punk and other hook-heavy styles popular in the ‘90s — an era that notably predates her existence — the singer’s music would’ve benefited from a more capable band but didn’t try to push boundaries. Her subject matter, however, ventured places few mainstream talents explore.

Frustration, desperation, bitterness, disloyalty, envy, self-doubt, angst: Rodrigo addressed issues tied to painful coming-of-age processes with devastating insight, unsparing vulnerability and the occasional well-suited profanity. She conveyed them via female perspectives that underlined the nagging insecurities, compromised decisions and hollowed-out feelings young girls face.

For all the merit of Rodrigo’s detail-rich songs about early heartaches (the accusatory slow-build of “Deja Vu”) and uncaring exes (the synthesized drift of “Traitor,” the acerbic bombast of “Good 4 U”), her embrace of broader topics demonstrated her evolution as a person and artist. Rodrigo acknowledged as much.

Before performing the soul-probing “Teenage Dream,” she said that approximately two years ago she saw “growing up [as] the scariest, worst thing in the world.” Now, she admitted, she feels she knows herself better. Her latest work reflected that heightened awareness and spoke to complex themes that went beyond age categorizations.

The emptiness, anger and dread that arise from being exploited like a cheap product amid the noir “Vampire.” The self-flagellation that happens when you know you’ve been had and the embarrassment that ensues when you examine your behavior, chronicled in the winking “Love Is Embarrassing.” The contradictory justifications associated with rationalizing a hook-up with a former lover, sent up through the bounce of the humorous “Bad Idea Right?” Rodrigo relayed the situations and moods with confidence and empathy, operating as if she read the minds of everyone in those positions.

vampire tour tickets

She went even further on the falsetto-laden “Pretty Isn’t Pretty,” tackling body-image expectations and cultural pressures advanced by social media, pharma advertisements and fashion industry with lingering sadness and loathing. But Rodrigo refused to let herself, or her followers, fall under the thumb of anyone or anything.

Enter Rodrigo as the “All-American Bitch,” a sarcastic tear-down of the double standards, ludicrous assumptions and impossible demands placed on women for centuries. As the singer belted out the probable generational anthem, she paused for everyone to think of an irritant and encouraged them to vent their grievances with a collective scream.

The essence of Rodrigo’s enabling messages registered loud and clear: We are women, hear us roar.

“Bad Idea Right?” “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” “Vampire” “Traitor” “Drivers License” “Teenage Dream” “Pretty Isn’t Pretty” “Love Is Embarrassing” “Making the Bed” “Logical” “Enough for You” “Lacy” “Jealousy, Jealousy” “Can’t Catch Me Now” “Happier” “Favorite Crime” “Deja Vu” “The Grudge” “Brutal” “Obsessed” “All-American Bitch”

Encore “Good 4 U” “Get Him Back!”

Things To Do

Music | string cheese incident wasn’t invited back, but dillon amphitheater has nevertheless become a colorado concert destination, with jason isbell, lake street dive and vampire weekend on tap, the 3,656-capacity venue is on a roll.

More than a dozen Red Rocks headliners and other big artists are steering their tours through the town of Dillon this summer, where a 3,656-capacity amphitheater offers both gorgeous views of Dillon Reservoir and another chance for musicians to perform.

Last Thursday, promoter AEG Presents Rocky Mountains announced a show there with country star Maren Morris for June 12, joining concerts scheduled this summer from Vampire Weekend, Portugal. The Man, Lake Street Dive, Jason Isbell, Trampled by Turtles and other artists who have easily sold out Red Rocks’ 9,545 capacity in the past.

Each of those concerts — and the 2024 calendar is still unfolding — is a clear boon for the 1,057-person ski town, said Jessie Klehfoth, Dillon’s events and recreation director. “With a capacity of 3,656, any sold-out show at the Dillon Amphitheater has the potential to bring in a million dollars of economic impact to the area.”

Attendees settle in for a show at the Dillon Amphitheater during the summer of 2022. (Photo provided by Jenise Jensen/Town of Dillon)

That’s not unique with other venues and is, in fact, a smaller version of the growth that Red Rocks has seen in recent years. Owned by the city of Denver, Red Rocks employs 1,500 people during the season and supports about 5,500 jobs, representing an annual total impact of $216 million in income (paychecks) and $717 million in economic output in the Denver metro area (spending), according to BBC Research & Consulting.

There is at least one act, however, that wasn’t invited back to Dillon Amphitheater for 2024: Colorado jam-band titan The String Cheese Incident (SCI).

Despite regular shows there — including the first-ever paid concert at the venue in July 2018 — the group released a statement on Instagram on Jan. 31 addressing its absence from the amphitheater’s 2024 calendar, which fans immediately noticed when SCI announced its July 12-14 Red Rocks dates .

“We hear you all and share in the disappointment of not returning to Dillon this year,” band members wrote, “but despite our best efforts and how much we wanted to return, we were not invited back by the town. We look forward to seeing you all at Red Rocks for 3 magical nights.”

View this post on Instagram A post shared by The String Cheese Incident (@sci_official)

After the group posted the statement, dozens of message-board and social media comments arrived with allegations that it was payback for bad behavior by fans. Some even claimed that it was because supporters who couldn’t get tickets attempted to dig holes under the fencing.

Klehfoth called those false rumors. “No, fans of SCI did not dig holes around the fence, so no SCI fans were arrested for doing so,” she said of the posts on Facebook, Instagram and Reddit.

Klehfoth, however, refused to say why SCI was not invited back, despite the band bringing thousands of people to Dillon every year.

In its 30 years as a band, String Cheese Incident has played Red Rock Ampitheatre 51 times. That includes its most recent three-night run, July 15-17, 2023 (pictured). (Provided by John Verwey)

Members of SCI, through a publicist, also declined to answer questions about it from The Denver Post. That hasn’t stopped fans from posting a pair of change.org petitions to bring them back, including one that characterized SCI’s absence as an official prohibition.

“We understand that there might be concerns related to noise or crowd management; however we believe these can be addressed through constructive dialogue rather than outright bans,” the author of the petition wrote.

Leaders at AEG Presents, the amphitheater’s main booker, said an emphasis on genre diversity may be the reason SCI isn’t playing Dillon this year. “They do have limited dates for paid shows, so that’s the feedback I got from the town,” said Don Strasburg, co-president and senior talent buyer for AEG Presents Rocky Mountains. “The String Cheese Incident has played every year for many years, and I understand they’d like to see other artists play.”

Strasburg added that he was unaware of any problems taking place on Dillon Amphitheater’s property during AEG-produced concerts last year.

“We love the (SCI) audience, personally,” he said, noting that AEG is producing 20 or so paid concerts in Dillon this year — about the same amount of as last year. (Country artist Morris, on June 12, is currently the season’s kickoff show.)

Standup paddleboarding on Lake Dillon is ...

Rebuilt from the ground up in 2018, at a cost of $9.7 million, the goal of the amphitheater is to help drive spending in the Summit County town. But it ran at a deficit from 2019 to 2021, according to Klehfoth. Free shows last year also cost the town $1,500 to $44,000 per show.

But it was never meant to be a money-making endeavor, she added, and the amphitheater’s general operating fund has broken even for the past two years.

What it has done is helped market the town as a must-visit destination for music fans, who have raved online about the venue’s picturesque setting, expanded amenities and robust programming.

AEG Presents bookings have a lot to do with that. But the promoter always defers to amphitheater officials, Strasburg said, noting that AEG has no control over the venue’s calendar, including its preferences for or against jam bands.

“There are other artists in different genres that they have declined to have return out of their desire for variety, so this isn’t a jam-band thing,” Strasburg said.

Three-time Grammy winner and pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo is coming to Ohio. That's right, Livies, gather your red lipstick, fishnets and pent-up emotion. We're in for a night.

Rodrigo will perform at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Friday, March 22 . The show is part of her Guts world tour, which kicked off Feb. 23 in California and shares the name of her sophomore album.

I plan to make the hike from Cincinnati to Columbus to see our girl perform. I want our friends going to other shows to have the answers they need).

So whether you have already secured the coveted tickets to the show or are still looking, here's everything you need to know before you spill your guts with Rodrigo.

Is the Oliva Rodrigo concert sold out?

Tickets to the Olivia Rodrigo concert in Columbus on March 22 are sold out on Ticketmaster. Tickets are still available on resale sites, such as SeatGeek , Vivid Seats and StubHub , with the cheapest options falling around $300 to $400 before fees.

As for other American cities? Those are sold out, too. You can join a waitlist on the official tour website for when tickets become available. But check ticket resale sites for availability, as those may be your best bet.

Olivia Rodrigo Guts tour setlist

Rodrigo's setlist contains all 12 songs from her "Guts" album, favorites from her debut album, "Sour," and her song "Obsessed," which is a deluxe track on "Guts" that hasn't yet been released on streaming.

  • "Bad Idea, Right?"
  • "Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl."
  • "Drivers License."
  • "Teenage Dream."
  • "Pretty isn’t Pretty."
  • "Love is Embarrassing."
  • "Making the Bed."
  • "Enough for You."
  • "Jealousy, Jealousy."
  • "Favorite Crime."
  • "The Grudge."
  • "Obsessed."
  • "All-American Bitch."
  • "Good 4 U" (encore).
  • "Get Him Back!" (encore).

What time does the Olivia Rodrigo concert start?

Rodrigo's concert at Nationwide Arena will start at 7:30 p.m. ET. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. ET. If you're attending Rodrigo's concert in a different city, check your tickets for the start time.

What time does Olivia Rodrigo go on stage?

According to Reddit , Rodrigo goes on stage at or around 8:30 p.m.

A Reddit user commented the following schedule for the concert:

  • 7:30 pm: concert opener goes on stage.
  • 8:00 p.m.: opener finishes.
  • 8:30 p.m.: Rodrigo goes on stage.
  • 10:00 p.m.: Rodrigo finishes.

However, a Reddit user who attended the Palm Springs concert said the opener performed for "just under an hour," rather than only 30 minutes. This didn't affect Rodrigo's schedule, though. The user stated Rodrigo came on stage at 8:40 p.m.

This schedule isn't 100% confirmed but is a good guide for those wondering when they should be in their seats to see Olivia.

How long is the Olivia Rodrigo concert?

The entire concert lasts 2.5 hours, according to Reddit , ending at 10:00 p.m. The opener performs for roughly 30 minutes or so, and Rodrigo performs for 90 minutes.

Again, this time is according to other fans and is not 100% confirmed through official sources.

Who is opening for Olivia Rodrigo's Guts tour?

Rodrigo announced four special guests will open for her during her Guts world tour. Chappell Roan will open for Rodrigo during the tour's first leg, which includes Columbus.

PinkPantheress, an English singer-songwriter and record producer, will open for Rodrigo during the tour's European leg. Remi Wolf, an American singer and songwriter, will open for Rodrigo when she's back in the States during the summer. The Breeders, an alternative rock band, will open for Rodrigo in April at her New York City shows and in August at her Los Angeles shows.

Who is Chappell Roan?

Chappell Roan is a 26-year-old American singer-songwriter known for pop hits that include "Pink Pony Club" and "Red Wine Supernova." Roan is celebrated for her campy persona and was dubbed "LA's queer pop superstar in the making" by the Los Angeles Times.

Roan worked with Dan Nigro, who regularly collaborates with Rodrigo, on her 2023 debut album "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess." The small-town Missouri native performed for a sold-out show at Cincinnati's Andrew J. Brady Music Center on March 10.

Chappell Roan setlist

Chappell Roan performed the following setlist Tuesday during the St. Louis stop on the Guts tour.

  • "Femininomenon."
  • "Naked in Manhattan."
  • "After Midnight."
  • "Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl."
  • "HOT TO GO!"
  • "Red Wine Supernova."
  • "My Kink Is Karma."
  • "Pink Pony Club."

Olivia Rodrigo merchandise

The merchandise sold at the Guts tour stops differs from what's available on Rodrigo's official website .

A TikTok posted in February shows the merchandise available at the show and the items' prices, giving fans a good idea of what they can possibly expect when they're ready to buy merch. According to Elite Daily , this includes the following:

  • Hoodies: $80.
  • Crewneck: $60.
  • Long sleeve T-Shirt: $60
  • Butterfly tote bag: $50
  • T-shirts: $45.
  • Charm bracelet: $40.
  • State charm: $10.
  • Beanie: $40.
  • Tour poster: $20.
  • Light up star: $15.
  • Bandaids: $15.
  • Face gems: $10.
  • Sticker sheet: $10.

A Reddit user who attended the Palm Springs concert claimed merchandise was available outside and inside the venue. Merchandise for the opener, Chappell Roan, was only available inside. Otherwise, all the merchandise should be the same inside and outside the venue.

Where to buy a Guts tour poster

Want to get a poster to remember an iconic night for the rest of your life? There are at least five to choose from.

The TikTok above shows two posters likely available at your concert. One looks to be cream-colored with a sketch of Rodrigo's face inside a star. The other poster is purple and features Rodrigo leaning over a toilet with glitter and stars inside the toilet bowl.

Three different posters are also available on Rodrigo's official site. These include the Guts Would Tour City-Specific Admat poster, Guts Olivia Rodrigo All-American B---- poster and the Bad Idea Right? poster .

What to wear to an Olivia Rodrigo concert on her Guts tour

Doc Martens. Fishnets. Butterfly hair clips. Converses. Sequin tops. Leather pants. Anything Purple. These are just some of the many items perfect for an Olivia Rodrigo concert.

But, if you need inspiration, search some variation of "Olivia Rodrigo Guts tour outfits" on Pinterest or TikTok .

You can always play it safe and rock something from Rodrigo's official merchandise collection or a unique piece of merchandise available on Etsy . (Look how cool these sunglasses are.)

Still struggling to decide? You can take the "Which Olivia Song R U???" quiz to find out which song "should inspire your Guts world tour style." The quiz picks out several pieces of merchandise for you based on your answers to the questions. (I got a Vampire, eep!)

Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo has been vocal about her support for reproductive rights throughout her Guts World Tour, and politicians are taking notice. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer welcomed the 21-year-old pop star to Detroit on Saturday (March 23) with a pun-filled video quoting the pop star’s song titles and commending her for speaking out about bodily autonomy.

Olivia Rodrigo Says She’s ‘So Proud’ of ‘Guts’ Deluxe Tracks & Reveals…

Trending on billboard.

“Olivia, your voice resonates with so many, not just through your music, but through your advocacy,” Whitmer added. “And in Michigan, we’re no stranger to fighting for what’s right. We couldn’t be happier to have you.”

Whitmer’s video comes about a month after Rodrigo kicked off her first-ever arena tour. In conjunction with the trek, the “Drivers License” singer launched her Fund 4 Good supporting local abortion organizations.

In addition to donating a portion of her proceeds from tickets to abortion funds across the globe, Rodrigo has also been inviting local chapters of the National Network of Abortion Funds to set up resource tables at each Guts World Tour venue in North America. At some shows, fans could grab free morning-after pills , condoms and lube; however, funds were reportedly asked recently to stop offering those items at concerts.

Watch Whitmer’s TikTok below.

@biggretchwhitmer Welcome to Detroit, @Olivia Rodrigo! Here in Michigan, we’re ensuring everyone has the license to make their own choices. It’s time to drive home the message that our rights are not up for debate. These policies aren’t just logical, they’re good 4 u.  ♬ original sound – BigGretchWhitmer

Hans Zimmer Live Tour Coming to North America for the First Time Since 2017

The legendary composer will play his best-known work in concert across the U.S. beginning in Georgia on September 6.

The Big Picture

  • Hans Zimmer announces North American tour with a mix of iconic film scores, promising a visual and audio spectacle for fans.
  • Tour includes special birthday show at Madison Square Garden and tunes from Gladiator, Interstellar , and more beloved soundtracks.
  • Zimmer, his 18-piece band, and full orchestra will perform in 17 cities including New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles.

Seven years after bringing his incredible lineup of film scores across the U.S. for a live tour, Hans Zimmer is ready to do it again. The Academy Award-winning composer, known for his work on everything from Gladiator to Interstellar , will soon return to North America this fall with his hit tour Hans Zimmer Live following another successful run in Europe in 2023. Zimmer, his 18-piece live band, and a full orchestra will begin their journey across the continent in Duluth, Georgia at the Gas South Arena on September 6 . In total, they'll visit 17 cities between the U.S. and Canada, including the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 6.

Zimmer last appeared stateside in 2017 when he rocked out at Coachella playing the hits from his long career in Hollywood. This run for the legendary artist will include a special celebratory show at Madison Square Garden in New York for his birthday on September 12 , in addition to the other destinations. Each show promises a visual and audio spectacle as he and his fellow musicians perform iconic scores as part of newly arranged concert suites that put a spin on his music. For his North American shows, concert-goers can expect to hear tunes from the scores of the aforementioned Gladiator and Interstellar alongside Pirates of the Caribbean , The Dark Knight , The Lion King , The Last Samurai , and his most recent Oscar-winning work, Dune .

Choosing exactly what to play for the live shows is no doubt a challenge for Zimmer considering his omnipresence throughout film. Anyone who has seen a Christopher Nolan title has more than likely heard the composer's work , given their frequent collaborations including Inception , Dunkirk , The Prestige , and The Dark Knight trilogy. Zimmer's resume also features No Time to Die , Man of Steel , Wonder Woman , Kung Fu Panda , 12 Years A Slave , and Top Gun: Maverick , with his more recent work appearing in Dune: Part Two , Kung Fu Panda 4 , and Netflix's Damsel . Although his efforts have garnered much praise - and an armload of awards - he shared the love with his bandmates and the audience in an official statement, promising a show to remember:

I’m thrilled to return to perform in North America with my wonderful band and excited to share this phenomenal show. I love this feeling of uniting my family of extraordinary musicians with you, the audience. Just an unbelievable group of talents, who in my opinion, are some of the best musicians in the world. But nothing would have meaning without the good grace and support of you, the other part of the family – the audience. Ultimately, the music connects us all, and I promise you this: we will always play our best, straight from the heart.

Where Will Hans Zimmer Visit on His Latest North American Live Tour?

Hans Zimmer Live is presented by Semmel Concerts and Concerts West, and it's expected to be a hot ticket when it begins this fall. Fans of the composer can get a taste of his live work from Europe in 2022 at home by streaming or picking up a copy of his live album with his band The Disruptive Collective , featuring several longtime musical collaborators including Gladiator 's Lisa Gerrard , The Lion King 's Lebo M. , X-Men: Dark Phoenix 's Loire Cotler , and Wonder Woman 's Tina Guo among others. For those who hope to see Zimmer perform on-stage in person, however, check out a full list of North American tour dates below:

  • DebbJ 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Great way to get oriented to Moscow We started our Moscow experience with the hop on hop off. It was a great way to get orientated to the city. The additional optional tours were also good, we did the Metro tour which I highly recommend, we also paid for the Kremlin tour. The hop on hop off has three different lines all included. Only fault was the bus was sometimes full and you had to wait for the next one which was about 15 minutes (in the cold). Read more Written January 6, 2020

  • BeverleyT 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Boat trip - TERRIBLE We got on the bus, but couldn’t buy a 1 day ticket. They suggested we do the 1 hour boat trip and said they would drop us to the dock. 1) they dropped us in the wrong place 2) they were lost because of the marathon Then the boat, after we finally found it: 1) stinking fumes, actually gagging 2) no commentary, in fact, no interaction unless you begged 3) offered us 2 for 1 icecreams as they had melted and refrozen as the fridge gets turned off at night Honestly, we enjoyed the afternoon in the boat but spent all of it laughing at just how awful it was!!! The worst thing in Moscow! Read more Written August 18, 2019
  • niruDurbs 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Not the best value for the price The ticket is quite expensive and covers three different routes in a 24 hour period. The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed. However it must be noted that one can learn a lot about the history of Moscow Read more Written July 3, 2019

  • Rebecca J 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Boat element was excellent We purchased a ticket online for the boat and bus for 2 days. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. It was extremely warm when we were there and it would have been great to do the tour in the cool of the day. There was also no air conditioning in the down stairs part of the bus. They also turned away passengers at one of the stops as the bus was full and there was not another bus for 40 minutes. Read more Written September 26, 2018

  • Peter F 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Two Routes There is a short red route which depending on the traffic takes about an hour. The route is generally around the Red Square area. The ear phones were small and sometimes the commentary did not link up with the sites you were seeing. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. The sights we saw were nothing outstanding with plenty of time at certain stops for photos. Also the driver stop for a bite to eat at one stop. Read more Written July 30, 2018

  • WilliamDyer 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Poor service on boat and too many waiting times on buses For the price, you should expect at minimum English speaking tour guides with decent experience, but at least in my case that did not happen both in buses and boats. And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes. I actually think I lost that day around 2 hours doing nothing. Be careful. Read more Written July 10, 2018

The group may need to split up and/or wait for the next bus(s).

As, we cannot guarantee that the group shall be able to travel together as one group, therefore we will reduce the group size down to 4-5 smaller groups per ticket (depending upon group size).

Jeff Lynne's ELO announce final tour: How to get tickets to Over and Out

vampire tour tickets

Jeff Lynne’s ELO dazzled audiences with a show of sonic perfection when the band reappeared in the U.S. in 2018-2019.

Now, the melodic wizard and his ace musical comrades will hit the road a final time for The Over and Out Tour. A 27-date outing will commence Aug. 24 in Palm Desert, California and wrap Oct. 25 in Los Angeles. In between, Lynne and ELO will visit cities including Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Cleveland, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Houston and Washington, D.C.

An ELO presale begins at 10 a.m. local time March 20, with the general sale starting at 10 a.m. local time March 22. VIP experiences will also go on sale at 10 a.m. local time March 20. Tickets will be available via livenation.com and details about the VIP packages at jefflynneselo.com.

During the band’s last U.S. run , Lynne offered a 20-song setlist that included Electric Light Orchestra gems “Evil Woman,” “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Telephone Line” and “Do Ya,” all reproduced with stunning clarity. Even the underappreciated and much-maligned “Xanadu” from the 1980 Olivia Newton-John movie received its due.

In addition to his prowess as a producer, Lynne was also a co-founder and member of The Traveling Wilburys with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty. The collective also received a nod in the live production with a comforting rendition of “Handle with Care.”

Lynne was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2023 and ELO ushered into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
