Australian cricket fixtures - men & women.
Winner drawn every Friday at 11am. Promotion ends April 12th, 2024.
Australia’s upcoming tour fixtures can be found below – for both the men’s side and the women’s team.
After a hectic 2023 which featured a 2-1 Test series loss to India, a chaotic 2-2 Ashes draw (and urn retention) and a stunning ODI World Cup win, 2024 promises to be just as action-packed for the men’s team.
They began the year by completing a 3-0 series sweep of Pakistan and a drawn 1-1 series with the West Indies, including their first Test loss at home against the Calypso Kings since 1997, though they responded with 3-0 and 2-1 wins in the following ODI and T20I series.
They then secured a clean sweep in New Zealand across three T20Is and two Tests, the latter their first two in the country since 2016.
The main focus over winter will be the T20 World Cup, to be held in the Caribbean and, for the first time, the USA, where matches will be played in New York, Texas and Florida.
They have been drawn in a group with bitter rivals England, as well as Associate nations Oman, Namibia and Scotland. The top two sides in each group will advance to the Super 8 stage, with the top two sides in those two pools advancing to the semi-finals.
Following that, they will head to the UK for limited-overs matches against first Ireland and then England in August, the latter promising to still hold lingering feeling after a controversial 2023 Ashes series.
The headline act of the 2024/25 summer will be India, who are coming for an unprecedented five-Test series in December and January, preceded by a lead-in limited-overs series against Pakistan.
In February, Australia are slated to head to Sri Lanka for two Tests, while immediately following that is expected to be the ICC Champions Trophy 50-over tournament in Pakistan.
Fox Cricket show all Australian matches at home and overseas – except for Ashes Tests which are broadcast on Nine, and thanks to a recent deal with Amazon Prime, all overseas ICC tournaments including the 2024 T20 World Cup – including exclusive coverage of men’s T20Is and ODIs, and their coverage can be streamed online via Kayo Sports . Channel Seven will also broadcast men’s Tests, as well as all women’s internationals.
All times on this page are AEST/AEDT (Sydney/Melbourne time).

Australian Women’s fixtures
The Australian women themselves had an action-packed 2023, defending their T20 World Cup final undefeated in South Africa to start the year, before heading to England and retaining the urn with a thrilling series tie despite losing the ODI and T20I legs of the series 2-1 each.
They finished the year with a Test against India, which they lost, but began 2024 with ODI and T20I series wins.
The home summer concluded with hard-fought ODI and T20I series against South Africa, which the hosts won 2-1 each, before a resounding innings and 284-run victory in their one-off Test.
The team will tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is in March and April, before another T20 World Cup in the same country in September and October.
The 2024/25 summer will be headlined by another Ashes clash, this time on home soil, with England touring for one Test, three ODIs and three T20Is.

Schedule revealed for 2023-24 Aussie summer of cricket
Six Tests, nine ODIs, nine T20Is to be played by Australia's men's and women's teams at 11 venues across seven cities between October and February
Australia's dominant women's team taking the solo spotlight at the start of the summer before the men's Test team breaks more than a century of tradition by staging their entire program during the school holiday break are features of the 2023-24 Australian international schedule.
The men's and women's international fixtures released by Cricket Australia today feature six Tests (against Pakistan, West Indies and South Africa), as well as nine ODIs and nine T20Is (South Africa and West Indies) at 11 venues across seven cities.
The schedule stretches from October 1, when Australia's all-conquering women's outfit kick off the season with an afternoon T20 clash against 2016 World Cup champions West Indies at North Sydney Oval, to the final men's ODI (also against West Indies in Perth) on February 13.
Among the noteworthy elements within those four and a half months are:
- First home matches of the new World Test Championship cycle for Australia men's team, with Tests against Pakistan (three) and West Indies (two) all staged within the December-January school holidays
- The inaugural Test between Australia and South Africa's women's teams, with the historic encounter to be held at the WACA Ground in Perth which last hosted a women's Test in 2014
- Perth to also stage the opening match of the men's summer when Pakistan make their first Test appearance in the Western Australian capital since 2004, and their maiden five-day outing at Perth Stadium
- Reigning ODI and T20 Women's World Cup champions Australia to feature in a multi-format series against South Africa having defeated the Proteas in the 20-over Cup final at Cape Town earlier this year.
- Meg Lanning's line-up will also have the international stage to themselves for the first 10 weeks of the home summer, with Pat Cummins' team in India for the ICC ODI World Cup that is scheduled to finish on November 19.
Australia women's team begin with a three-match CommBank T20I series against West Indies at North Sydney Oval and Brisbane, before a further three CommBank ODIs against the same opponent at Allan Border Field and in Melbourne.
The CommBank multi-format series against South Africa begins late January with T20 and ODI matches in Canberra, Hobart, Adelaide and Sydney before culminating in the historic inaugural Test meeting between the teams in Perth.
The summer of cricket for the Australian women's side will also feature a highly-anticipated multi-format tour of India over December and January that follows that ninth season of the WBBL.
Immediately after the ICC World Cup, Australia's men's team will remain in India for a bilateral white-ball series before returning home to begin their NRMA Insurance Test campaign (against Pakistan in Perth) from December 14, ensuring a different look to the Test schedule.
It will be the latest start to a men's Test summer of five or more matches since the 1924-25 Ashes battle that kicked off at the SCG on December 19, 1924.
After Australia and Pakistan fought out a gruelling three-Test battle on flat pitches in Pakistan last year, where Cummins' team emerged triumphant 1-0, both sides' renowned pace attacks will doubtless relish the chance to unleash on the traditionally pacy Perth track.
Pakistan’s only previous first-class outing at Perth Stadium saw then 16-year-old quick Naseem Shah unleash a brutal spell against Australia A in 2019, after fellow quick Imran Khan had scythed through the home team’s top order to capture 5-32.
Due to a quirk of the ICC's latest Future Tours Program – the recently released matrix that dictates each team's home and away opponents across all formats for the next four years – Australia host the West Indies men's team for the second time in as many summers.
With Pakistan scheduled to tour during the December-January period, and given the delayed start to the men's Test summer due to proximity of the 50-over World Cup in India, Cricket Australia's conundrum was which venue of Perth and Adelaide hosted the West Indies twice in succession for Tests.
Given the disappointing attendance for last year's Australia-West Indies Test at Perth Stadium and CA's hopes to grow the market in Western Australia, it opted to stage the first Pakistan Test in WA with Adelaide's mid-January fixture reverting to day status rather than its recent tradition of day-night.
The summer's only pink-ball Test match will be the second match between Australia and West Indies at the Gabba where the Caribbean visitors last played in 2009.
With a bulk of men's Tests being played at the height of summer in January, CA opted for a day-night fixture in Brisbane to avoid the heat and humidity of earlier in the day.
The men's Test scheduling also means those players who specialise in white-ball formats will be available for much of the KFC BBL season, which confirmed a reduction in total matches for BBL|13 on Friday.
Another key factor in formulating the men's schedule was the West Indies' requirement to depart Australia by mid-February to meet their FTP commitments with Pakistan.
As a consequence, the three Dettol ODIs and three Dettol T20Is between Australia and West Indies have been scheduled for Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart, Adelaide and Perth from February 2-13 to round out the summer's international schedule.
Australia's men's team then travel to New Zealand for a series of two Tests and three T20Is, as per the FTP.
The domestic men's and women's schedules for 2023-24 are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
CA also announced today that entry level ticket prices have been frozen for an eighth consecutive year, with prices for men's international matches starting at $30 for adults, $10 for children and $65 for families.
Fans are able to access early bird ticket prices by joining the Australian Cricket Family pre-sale that begins on 17 May, with ACF members eligible for a 15 per cent discount on tickets for select seating categories before tickets go on sale to the public on 6 June.
"Cricket provides the sights and sounds of the summer and brings Australians together like no other sport and we can’t wait to welcome fans to watch world class cricket next season," Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley said.
"We look forward to West Indies, Pakistan and South Africa visiting our shores this summer and we thank them along with all our partners, including broadcasters, venues and local governments for their support in bringing world-class cricket to fans around the country.
"We are delighted to be offering our most loyal fans the opportunity to secure the best seats at the best prices in our Australian Cricket Family pre-sale. We’re also proud to be able to keep our entry level ticket prices flat for the eighth consecutive season to ensure as many people as possible can experience and enjoy women's and men’s international cricket."

Everything worked perfectly! The hotel was good, it was a short walk down a nearby lane to a tram stop on Collins St, it was a few minutes on the tram to the Jolimont/MCG stop, and then a short walk to the MCG. Our gate was the first one we came to, entry was a breeze, walked straight onto an escalator and got off near the members area, and then a very short walk to the seats. As we sat down on the morning of the first day, I was just amazed at how easy it had all been. Great seats, too. Rob
Will definitely do another trip with you guys in the future. Big thumbs up to all CATO staff, accommodation on tour was brilliant, organisation of all the travel was brilliant, guest speakers and functions also brilliant. I will be highly recommending that anyone thinking of a cricket tour do it with CATO. Daryl
Just emailing to pass our compliments about the service we received. My wife has some skin problems in the sun, so I discussed situation with your incredible staff and they went above and beyond to help find some shade for us. Please pass our thanks, I've been all over watching sport and your ladies are the most fantastically caring people I've ever had dealings with. John
We had an amazing time and it was a trip that I will never ever forget. Waking up to my seats on Day 1 and seeing the old pavilion for the first time gave me goose bumps and was incredible. Thanks again for your help with the last minute changes which put me at ease knowing you had that under control. Now that I know what you guys do and how good you are, you can guarantee that I will come back in the coming years to book something in! (I think The Oval in 4 years is on the cards! Steve
Just a short note to recognise the fantastic job you did organising aisle seating at both Headingley and Old Trafford for both myself and my mother. THANK YOU! The seats were fabulous. I appreciate that catering for our needs wouldn’t have been easy. We had a really good holiday made all the better because of people such as yourself. James
Despite those couple of wet days, we had a fantastic time. A great group of people, an excellent tour guide and terrific Tests both at Edgbaston and Lords. We just wish we were there for the Third Test – to see England bowled out for 67. Glenn
It was the experience of a lifetime and a privilege to see Steve Smith. We had great seats thanks to you and they got better each day, culminating in the best seats on the last day. Deborah
The tour was absolutely fantastic. CATO organised a great tour, very professional and nothing was ever a problem to yourselves or our tour director. Thank you for an amazing time. I look forward to travelling with CATO again. Deb
I'd like to pass on my gratitude regarding the most recent Sydney test match. The tickets at the SCG were absolutely fantastic. The Wednesday night function involving Glenn McGrath and company was very engaging and being able to hear from players and commentators both past and present was an absolute highlight. Please keep up the great work. I have done other sports tours in the past and by far this was the absolute smoothest I have ever experienced. Anthony
Thank you very much for organising such wonderful test match packages. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Ashes experiences. You and your staff have done a great job! We will be using CATO again in the future. Sue
I would like to thank you very much for arranging a fantastic tour. All the Tour Leaders were extremely helpful on all occasions and nothing was ever a problem. The functions, dinners, hotels & transfers were all great. My travelling friend and l met some terrific people on tour and it certainly was a great experience as you promised. We can now cross off the bucket list the dream of watching an Ashes Test at Lords. Thank you again for a fantastic tour. Jeff
Australia to face India, England more often as International Cricket Council announces men's Future Tours Program
Sport Australia to face India, England more often as International Cricket Council announces men's Future Tours Program
Australia will play India and England more regularly in men's cricket after the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed its Future Tours Program.
Key points:
- Australia and India will meet in two five-Test series as part of the ICC's program
- There will be a Test series in India between the two nations in early 2027
- The ICC's program features England touring Australia for non-Test fixtures
The men's global calendar — running from April 2023 to March 2027 — was released on Wednesday, with Australia signalling its intent for more matches against India and England.
One of the two nations will tour Australia for at least one format in most summers going forward, while Test series against India will extend to five matches.
Australia's five-decade stranglehold on an uninterrupted men’s domestic cricket summer will also end in the 2026-27 season with a January-February Test tour of India.
Australia will host West Indies in back-to-back Test summers in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons due to the ICC's World Test Championship draw.
A winter Test will also return in August 2026 against Afghanistan, while January will now be devoid of Australian men's white-ball internationals to benefit the Big Bash League.
But it is the 2026-27 season where fans will notice the most significant change.
Australia will host New Zealand for a three-Test series over the traditional Christmas-New Year period before heading to India for five Tests in January and February.
The Australians will then return for two Tests against Bangladesh at home in March, which will clash with the start of the major football seasons.
Those matches will be the latest men's Tests played in Australia since 1979, while it will also mark the first time Australia has played a red-ball match overseas in January since 1970.
"This is the potential trade-off because in other years we have an increased level of content against our major [visitors]," Cricket Australia's (CA) head of operations Peter Roach said.
"It would be less complicated if we had four Tests against India because we could have squeezed another two tests in before we left.
"With India, that is the window they identified as their preferred, just as we identify our preferred as December-January.
"We need to commit to reciprocating. It's different, but we also know it's still cricket season.
"When you look at it in totality, it's still a great summer of cricket."
The change will create significant challenges for CA, given there will be a desire from each ground to host in the December-January period rather than March.
But Roach said each of the major venues would now host Tests against India on future tours as one of the chief upsides.
"It will also create some opportunities for cricket to look at itself in a non-traditional way," Roach said.
"This is still cricket season, every cricket competition around the country is still being played in March.
"It is still our season and we will make a fist of making those two tests great."
Meanwhile, Australia has made a commitment to playing more white-ball series against Pakistan and Bangladesh, seeing both as the next big growing cricket economies.
On the whole there are less ODIs for the men, with just 15 scheduled in the next four years in Australia compared to the 12 that were initially set for this upcoming summer alone.
Also of note is the fact there are exactly five Tests in each home summer, meaning the likes of Hobart and Canberra will have to wait some time for their next Tests.

Back home, they will host South Africa for another multi-format tour, consisting of a Test match, three ODIs, and three T20Is, from February. In March, they will tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is. They will return to Bangladesh in October to defend their Women’s T20 World Cup title.
In November, they will then host India and New Zealand for three ODIs each.

Australia's success in Christchurch sets up home Test series against India
N ew Delhi [India], March 11 (ANI): Australia's triumph over New Zealand in the two-match Test series saw them climb to the second spot in the World Test Championship standings, setting up their upcoming five-match Test series against India later this year.
Before the conclusion of the series in Christchurch on Monday, the Kiwis had a firm grip on the second spot.
However, Mitchell Marsh and Alex Carey's batting masterclass played spoilsport, with the hosts dropping to the third spot while the defending champions climbed to second in the WTC rankings.
Australia are now in the second spot with eight wins, three defeats and a draw with a point percentage of 62.50.
India's triumph in the scenic HPCA Stadium against England on Sunday helped them reclaim the spot at the summit with a point percentage of 68.51.
With last year's finalists sitting top of the standings again, India's tour of Australia in November will play a crucial role in deciding the two teams that will feature in the WTC 2025 final.
If India go on to lose all five games in the series, they will end up outside the top-two spot and will see a major drop in their point percentage. If Australia suffer a whitewash in the home Test series, they will also lose their second spot allowing the likes of New Zealand and Pakistan to capitalise on the opportunity.
In the event of a series draw (2-2), India will drop to the second spot and Australia will move to the summit with a better point percentage.
The series will conclude in January 2025, just a few months before the WTC final. Both teams will be looking to secure a win to stay in contention for another WTC final.
Throughout the series, India missed the services of their frontline players like Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami and KL Rahul.
Australia's pitches are famed for the bounce and pace speedsters are able to enjoy. It was evident during Pakistan's tour of Australia at the end of the last year.
Pacers across both teams combined to bag a total of 79 wickets in the three-match series while spinners managed to scalp only 21.
The possibility of Mohammed Shami returning will bolster India's pace attack with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj expected to spearhead India's fast-bowling attack.
For Australia, their established pace trio of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will look to cause trouble to India batters. The experience of Kohli and Rahul could play a pivotal role in neutralizing the threat of Australia's renowned speedsters.
Coming to Day 4 action, Australia resumed their innings from 77/4 with Travis Head (17*) and Mitchell Marsh (27*) unbeaten on the crease.
With Australia reduced to 80/5, a match-winning partnership between Marsh (80) and Carey (98*). Both together put on a partnership of 140 runs to guide Australia to a series win. (ANI)
