World's First Dragon Ball Theme Park to Open in Saudi Arabia
Featuring kame house, capsule corporation, and beerus' planet..
The world's first theme park dedicated to the Dragon Ball universe of comics, movies, and games will be built in Saudi Arabia, allowing visitors to live out the adventures of Goku and his friends.
The Qiddiya Investment Company behind the project shared details about what to expect from the development. The park will span 500,000 square meters and feature seven themed lands based on different Dragon Balls. There will be more than 30 themed rides across the lands, plus five major attractions, hotels and restaurants.
Concept art, below, gives prospective visitors a teaser of the park plans. The images reveal several iconic landmarks from the Dragon Ball sagas, including Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and Beerus' Planet. The artwork also features an unmissable 70-meter-high Shenron rollercoaster.
News of the theme park comes in the same year that the original Dragon Ball manga will celebrate its 40th anniversary and just a few weeks after the death of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama , which prompted fans and industry peers across the globe to come together to remember the life and work of the legendary artist .
Between the original franchise, the more popular "Z" series, the divisive GT and the highly successful Super, Toriyama's Dragon Ball has transcended its manga beginnings to become a pop-culture phenomenon. The newly announced theme park will allow fans to immerse themselves in the world of Dragon Ball in real life.
The company behind the theme park has not disclosed an opening date yet, but construction on the colossal project is expected to commence soon.

Recent tour reviews
Having seen Adele previously at the Hammersmith Apollo a few years ago we really wanted to get tickets again, my wife tried for many hours to get tickets for her last tour and when this 4 night tour went on sale she tried again we were successful getting tickets for the Wednesday night, the only problem was she had no choice but to buy the drinking package at £249 each but because we wanted to see her we had no choice but to buy them. We had had an email form Songkick advising us to arrive early for security check which was understandable in the light of recent events, the line to enter was building up when we arrived at 4.30 pm, everyone was waiting for the 5pm opening, 5pm passed and everyone were patient but they did not start letting people in until around 5.20 pm. Eventually we were let in to the Bobby Moore suite to start the evening with a drink, the food choice for the suite was very limited, sushi, salad or hot dog (which were not hot at all), we enjoyed a few glasses of wine before we entered the stadium. Once we got to our seats for the start of the show is when we realised that if we wanted to see anything we should have taken binoculars even though we were only on the second tier to be honest Adele was a dot on the stage. Adele performance was amazing and once again she meet our every expectations she has an brilliant voice and is so down to earth. Paying that kind of money to see her show was worth it just to experience her voice and music, but paying that kind of money for the entry to the Bobbie Moore suite (which was just a function room) was really over priced. We had a fantastic time listening to Adele but the before part was a total waste of money.

It is hard to know what to say that hasn't already been said, the list of superlatives has been done and each one is accurate. Adele may be nervous performing live, and there are times where that shows through, but somehow the fact that, arguably, the worlds finest singer shows a vulnerability adds to the performance especially when combined with her self deprecating honesty.
The attention to detail is clear, the fact that she thanks the guy who delivers 'hot honey' by name, thanks the guys who surround the stage during Skyfall and says 'see you all Saturday' shows that she is no Prima Donna artiste, Somehow through a meteoric rise, through all the fame and fortune she still retains that ordinary north London girl wanting to entertain her audience and entertain she does, in spades!
The T Shirts personally signed fired into the crowd, the note left on the back of someone's seat all these acts of kindness make someone's night unforgettable.
However, all of the humour, beautiful touches and adept performance are totally dominated by that voice, that wonderful, utterly unmistakable, beautiful voice which towered over Wembley Stadium and owned the evening. The songs are expertly crafted works of art in their own right and I love them all but if she sang the phone book I would pay to listen.
The highlights for me are predictable, Hello, Skyfall, Feel my Love, Set Fire to the Rain and Someone Like You, all of which were belted out by 100,000 people, these are the spine tingling moments you experience rarely in life. The one song I would still love to hear live is River Lea, lyrically brilliant and one of my all time favourite songs.
If you have never seen Adele perform live you really do need to and this may be your last chance, although I cannot tell you how much I hope it is not!
Our family of 4 daughters, my husband and myself saw Adele on 10/03/17, her first Sydney show. We have loved Adele since we listened to her first album in 2010. As soon as we heard she was coming we knew we had to be there. Even though we were seated very far away from the stage Adele made everyone of the 950000 crowd feel like we were all much closer.
Every moment was fantastic, Adele's phenomenal voice, the amazing video footage of Adele's eyes opening as the show started to the final song of Someone Like You, where the sound of the huge crowd singing in unison with Adele was unlike anything I have ever heard. The circular stage setup was amazing, giving everyone access to seeing Adele. Adele walked the circle giving every part of the stadium a chance to see her. The video footage that played with the songs was beautiful and ensured you kept your eyes on the stage.
The set list was a wonderful collection of Adele's 3 albums. Her interaction with the audience was funny, sincere and she really made us feel like we were right there with her.
I think when you see your daughters crying with the emotion of getting to see Adele live and then more crying because it was even better than you could of dreamed, speaks volumes. I would see her again in a heartbeat if I could and would say to anyone if you can go then do it!

Blinken adds Israel stop to latest Mideast tour as tensions rise over Gaza war
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said during a visit to the Philippines that it’s urgent to make humanitarian assistance in Gaza a priority. According to the U.N., 100% of the population in Gaza is at severe levels of acute food insecurity and desperately in need of humanitarian assistance.

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Israel this week as part of his sixth urgent mission to the Middle East since the Israelis’ war with Hamas began in October, as relations between the two countries have soured dramatically in recent weeks.
The visit comes amid a flurry of calls, planned trips by U.S. and Israeli officials and public airings of severe disagreements over the state of the conflict — notably Israeli plans to mount a major military operation in the southern Gaza city of Rafah and what will happen to Gaza after the war ends.
The State Department said the Israel stop would cap Blinken’s latest Mideast tour that started in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday and will continue in Egypt on Thursday. The top U.S. diplomat will be in Tel Aviv on Friday after talks with Arab leaders and foreign ministers in Jeddah and Cairo focused on the war in Gaza.
“In Israel, Secretary Blinken will discuss with the leadership of the government of Israel the ongoing negotiations to secure the release of all hostages,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said. “He will discuss the need to ensure the defeat of Hamas, including in Rafah, in a way that protects the civilian population, does not hinder the delivery of humanitarian assistance, and advances Israel’s overall security.”
Tensions between the U.S. and Israel over the prosecution of the Gaza war have been mounting for months over rising civilian casualties. And they have intensified as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he will ignore President Joe Biden’s warnings not to start a large-scale ground operation in Rafah without credible plans to protect innocent Palestinians who have sought refuge there.
Biden, facing a tough re-election campaign ahead of November’s presidential election, is under growing domestic pressure to rein in Israel’s military response to the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks in Israel. Opposition to the war in the United States, Arab nations and much of the rest of the world has shaped the evolution of Blinken’s frequent trips to the region since October.
His first two visits were largely focused on re-affirming U.S. support for Israel in the immediate aftermath of the Hamas attacks, but as civilian Palestinian casualties began to multiply and humanitarian conditions in Gaza deteriorated, his emphasis shifted to boosting humanitarian assistance and protecting innocents.
Since late last year, Blinken has also used his visits to stress the importance of Arab support for “day after” plans for Gaza and trying to coax Israeli leaders into accepting a status for the Palestinians that could help ensure Israel’s long-term security.
As that shift has taken place, though, the situation in Gaza has gotten worse and relations between the U.S. and Israel have nosedived. Public disagreements between Biden and Netanyahu have become more frequent and more intense.
In a phone call with Biden on Monday, their first in more than a month, Netanyahu agreed to send a high-level delegation to Washington to discuss plans for the proposed Rafah operation, and the Pentagon said Tuesday that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant would visit the U.S. capital next week.
In his talks in Jeddah, Cairo and Tel Aviv, Blinken is expected to focus on attempts to negotiate a cease-fire and hostage release deal, increase humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza by land, air and sea and plan for the territory’s post-conflict future.
In the Red Sea city of Jeddah, Blinken met with Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The prospect of normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel is seen as a potential point of leverage in pushing the Israelis on easing civilian suffering in Gaza.
Blinken and Prince Faisal “discussed the urgent need to protect all civilians in Gaza and immediately increase humanitarian assistance to those in need,” the State Department said, adding that “resolving the conflict” and “preparing for the post-conflict phase” remain a top priority.
Blinken also “emphasized the United States’ commitment to achieving sustained peace through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with security guarantees for Israel,” the department said in a statement.
But the Saudis have made clear that normalization won’t happen unless it is accompanied by a clear commitment from Israel to accept an independent Palestinian state by a date certain. Netanyahu and many members of his far-right government are opposed to a Palestinian state.
In Cairo on Thursday, Blinken will see Egyptian officials as well as meet with a six-member Arab committee that includes foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Morocco and the Palestinian Authority, according to an Egyptian diplomat.
This group has been charged with exploring ways to revamp, reform and revitalize the Palestinian Authority for a possible governance role in Gaza once the war is over. The West Bank-based Palestinian Authority has committed to reforms and replaced some of its top leadership.
Blinken’s discussions are also expected to touch on the cease-fire negotiations that have taken on new urgency as the humanitarian situation in Gaza has become increasingly dire.
Qatari officials, whose country is the main interlocutor with Hamas, said this week they were “cautiously optimistic” after talks with Israel’s intelligence chief in Doha. But, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed al-Ansari said Tuesday that an Israeli ground operation in Rafah would set back any talks.
At least 31,819 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants in its count but says women and children make up two-thirds of the dead. A United Nations food agency warned that “famine is imminent” in northern Gaza .
Palestinian militants killed some 1,200 people in the surprise Oct. 7 attack out of Gaza that triggered the war, and and abducted another 250 people. Hamas is still believed to be holding some 100 people hostage, as well as the remains of 30 others.

8 days riyadh, edge of the world & jeddah tour.
Without a doubt, the price of tours in Saudi Arabia is justified. Considering the challenges of navigating the country, many travelers prefer the convenience of guided tours in Saudi Arabia. Local tour operators excel at curating complete travel experiences, covering accommodations, dining, transportation, activities, knowledgeable guides, and more. While it is always an option to plan your own trip, in numerous locations, the extra cost of a tour is well worth the assurance and convenience of a pre-arranged itinerary.
Navigating the travel costs of Saudi Arabia often reveals that tours can be a pocket-friendly alternative to independent travel, depending on the tour's specifics such as the destinations, travel style, duration, and other factors. Naturally, every tour and independent trip will be different and have its own cost. Typically, tour providers bundle an array of offerings into an attractively competitive price, often rivalling the expenditure of an independent journey with a similar level of luxury. The average daily expenses for a tour in Saudi Arabia is calculated to be approximately $500, yet numerous tours fall below this price. Prices for tours in Saudi Arabia span from $516 to $18,661. When comparing tour costs against independent trips in Saudi Arabia, it's wise to factor in that most organized guided tours include accommodations, transport, guides, meals, entry tickets, and much more. So, when comparing tour packages with trips planned by yourself, keep in mind the differences because it's not always an equal comparison. To paint an accurate picture of the trip and its costs, make sure you know what is included in the tour package before comparing its price against your own trip plans. Also, diving deep into the costs of independent travel in Saudi Arabia is also necessary to find an accurate comparison.
Group Tours vs. Independent Travel in Saudi Arabia
Travelers often face a tough decision between opting for an organized tour package or planning an independent trip. Traveling in Saudi Arabia during 2024 or 2025 presents an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the wide range of enticing deals and sales available with organized tour packages. These guided tours offer comprehensive packages that include accommodations, transportation, entry tickets, food, and other essential travel amenities, ensuring great value for money. Additionally, knowledgeable guides accompany you throughout the journey, providing valuable insights, and relieving the burden of planning every detail of the trip. Conversely, independent travel provides the advantage of greater flexibility and control over your travel plans, allowing you to adjust your schedule and budget as needed. It also allows for a deeper immersion in local cultures and the exploration of off-the-beaten-path destinations that are often not covered in tour packages.
What are the benefits of a package tour to Saudi Arabia?
Opting for a tour while traveling brings numerous benefits. One of the best parts of a tour is the unmatched convenience of having every aspect of your journey meticulously arranged. With transportation, accommodations, and activities planned out, you can enjoy a stress-free experience, knowing that all the essentials have been taken care of. This eliminates the need to worry about finding suitable accommodations, organizing logistics, or potentially overlooking any key attractions. Furthermore, the majority of tours offer all-inclusive pricing, allowing you to know the exact cost of your trip beforehand. Benefits of a tour include
- fixed budget
- reliable service and schedule
- knowledgeable guides
- comfortable amenities
- not having to plan
- meeting other like-minded travelers
- eliminating risks
What are the benefits of independent travel in Saudi Arabia?
Freedom, control, and flexibility are the main benefits of independent travel. When you travel independently, you have the freedom to select your own lodging, visit the attractions that appeal to you, dine at your preferred times, and choose your preferred mode of transportation. Making these decisions yourself also gives you greater control over your budget, itinerary, schedule, and the level of luxury you desire while exploring new destinations. Benefits also include
- flexible schedules
- flexible budget
- in-depth cultural opportunities
- off-the-beaten-path destinations
To secure your tour to Saudi Arabia, it is advisable to plan and book well in advance, preferably a few months or more ahead. While some individuals reserve their tours up to a year ahead, based on our experience, reserving your spot approximately 6 to 9 months prior to departure is usually sufficient. Many popular tours tend to fill up quickly, so booking early guarantees your place on the trip. Additionally, booking early can often lead to significant cost savings, as tour companies frequently offer early booking sales and discounted prices. However, it's important to note that some tour companies may offer last-minute discounts for tours that still have available spots. While this may be tempting, waiting for such discounts carries the risk of missing out on a spot if the tour becomes fully booked.
The number of travelers on tours in Saudi Arabia can vary greatly, with group sizes ranging from 4 to 100 people. On average, a tour consists of 30 participants. However, it is important to note that the quality and price of a tour are not necessarily dependent on the number of people.
To fully experience Saudi Arabia, it is advisable to plan for around 10 days, as this is the typical duration of organized tour packages. Tours in Saudi Arabia can range from 4 to 20 days, or even longer. While longer tours may have a higher upfront cost, they become more economical on a daily basis. Additionally, longer tours provide ample time to visit multiple destinations at a comfortable pace, making them a more rewarding choice.
Where do group tours go in Saudi Arabia?
Tours often pass through Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, Hail, Buraidah, Abhā, Tabuk, and Al Bahah. These destinations are among the most popular in Saudi Arabia.
What tour and travel companies offer packages to Saudi Arabia?
A wide range of tour companies offer trips to Saudi Arabia. Some companies are large international brands, while others are more regionally or locally based. The benefits and challenges of each company can vary based on its size and level of experience. International companies often have well-established reputations, and tours are rarely canceled due to low turnout. However, they might not have the same local perspectives and insights that you'll find with a smaller, locally based company.
The most popular companies offering tours in Saudi Arabia are GrayLine UAE and Oman , Saudi Group , Agate Travel , Europamundo , and Destination Arabia . Some are larger than others, while some are focused on specific regions or types of trips.

Khamzat Chimaev-Robert Whittaker bout to be UFC's first in Saudi Arabia
March 28 (UPI) -- Middleweights Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker will headline the first UFC event ever held in Saudi Arabia, UFC president Dana White announced.
White announced Wednesday on Instagram and X that the event will air live -- for free -- June 22 on ABC. The fights will be held at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital city.
Preliminary action will start at noon EDT on ESPN and ESPN+. The main-card broadcast is expected to start at 3 p.m. on ABC and ESPN+.
"Our first fight in the Kingdom will be a fight night that will air live and free on ABC," White said in a video posted to social media.
"The main event will be former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker (26-7) versus 13-0, undefeated Khamzat Chimaev to see who will be the No. 1 contender for the UFC middleweight championship."
White said the co-main event will feature No. 6-ranked heavyweight Alexander Volkov (37-10) and No. 3 Sergei Pavlovich (18-2). Kelvin Gastelum (18-9) will battle fellow welterweight Daniel Rodriguez (17-4) in another matchup.
No. 7 light heavyweight Johnny Walker (21-8) also will meet No. 9 Volkan Oezdemir (19-7). Middleweight Ihor Potieria (20-5) will take on undefeated Shara Magomedov (12-0) in another fight on the card.
"This card is going to be bad [expletive], from top to bottom," White said. "It's going to be historic. It's our first-ever show from the Kingdom."
UFC announced in October that it would hold a fight in Saudi Arabia on March 2. White said in January the event was delayed so that he could add fighters , who "weren't ready" at the time.
Saudi Arabia, which has increased involvement through investments by its Public Investment Fund into major sports leagues and teams, also owns a minority stake in the Professional Fighters League, a competitor of the UFC.
Endeavor Group Holdings, which currently owns UFC, returned a $400 million investment from the PIF in 2019 after the 2018 murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The CIA and Western governments later concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman likely ordered the killing .
Endeavor previously publicly expressed interest in a strategic partnership with the PGA Tour amid the PIF's negotiations to merge forces with the U.S.-based golf league, but that offer was rejected.
Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel said in May on Freakonomics Radio that the company also was considering a $1 billion investment into LIV Golf -- now owned and operated by the PIF -- but did not go through with that plan because of LIV Golf's previous dispute with the PGA Tour.
Endeavor's current business partnership with the PGA Tour includes commercial rights sales and tournament management.
The PGA Tour announced in January that it closed on an investment of up to $3 billion with the StrategicSports Group, a consortium of American sports team owners. That transaction, used to launch PGA Tour Enterprises, allows for co-investment from the PIF, the PGA Tour said.

Saudi Arabia is building the world's first Dragon Ball Z theme park
Saudi Arabia is set to become home to the first-ever Dragon Ball Z theme park — a 5.3 million square foot entertainment venue announced as part of the kingdom's huge Qiddiya project.
- A project of the Saudi Public Investment Fund, Qiddiya City aims to feature 25 districts focused on entertainment and sports and host millions of visitors yearly.
- Tourism reached a record for the kingdom in 2023 at 106 million, according to its tourism ministry — an increase of 56% from 2019.
The latest tourist attraction announced by the kingdom will feature seven different areas recreating locations from the original Japanese anime television series, more than 30 themed rides, and a number of hotels and restaurants, according to the press release.
Five of the rides at the Dragon Ball Z theme park will be "world firsts," according to the release, one of which will be a 230-foot-high roller coaster called Shenron, named after the series' magical dragon.
Video games and the popular Japanese genre of anime have become targets for significant investment from the kingdom — Japan-based manga producer Toei Animation (producers of Dragon Ball Z) and MiSK, a foundation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, are also collaborating to create anime movies. Saudi's Public Investment Fund (PIF) is also the third-largest shareholder of Japanese video game giant Nintendo .
Qiddiya itself — a planned multibillion-dollar "city" in Riyadh — is a massive plot of desert about 28 miles, or a 40-minute drive, outside the capital Riyadh.
Its planners say it will be more than 360 square kilometers (or around 140 square miles) in size and will have more than 400 specific attractions including golf courses, theme parks and hotels. It's also set to have a Six Flags and a waterpark.
A project of the Saudi's PIF, which oversees $925 billion in assets, Qiddiya City aims to become home to 600,000 residents, as well as host millions of visitors yearly. The fund has poured billions of dollars over the last few years into sports, music events, e-gaming and cultural attractions in a bid to turn the kingdom into a tourist hub and diversify its economy away from reliance on oil.
Vision 2030, the name of this project, a brainchild of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has also set a target of 150 million tourists visiting the kingdom annually by 2030. Tourism reached a record for the country in 2023 at 106 million, according to its tourism ministry — an increase of 56% from 2019.

Luxury SAUDI ARABIA Tours
Our luxury Saudi Arabia tours lift the veil on a country that is arguably the greatest travel destination of them all in the Middle East. Until recently, this beacon of remote tourism and treasure trove of adventure and culture, was a secret known only to Saudis, pilgrims and oilmen. For non-Muslims, the two thousand year-old Nabataean tombs at Madain Saleh (the 2nd Petra) are undoubtedly the brightest star in Saudi Arabia’s tourism crown, but as you delve further, it will soon become apparent that this is just the tip of the palm tree. From the misty mountains of Asir, to the breath-taking deserts of Al Ula and the enormous oasis of Al Ahsa; the Kingdom’s landscapes are strikingly diverse. Saudi Arabia’s culture and architecture is as varied as the scenery: troglodytic dwellings on Shada mountain contrast sharply with the towering coral stone houses of Jeddah, and the gleaming skyscrapers of Riyadh. While following the old caravan routes you’ll see some of the world’s best rock art; learn about the civilisations that controlled the ancient incense trade; and admire exquisite mudbrick architecture. Glimpsing traditional Saudi lifestyles in souqs and street markets will also fascinate. Fans of T.E Lawrence will not want to pass up an opportunity to journey along the Hijaz Railway, and students of the Bible will relish the opportunity to follow Moses through the Land of Midian. Saudi Arabia is a destination that almost defines adventure and is where you can cross belts of blood red sands; climb volcanoes; and island hop through pristine sub-tropical atolls. The possibilities for Saudi Arabia travel are almost endless. On our tailor-made Saudi Arabia tours, you’ll be able to see Saudi Arabia through Saudi eyes and become a pioneer of Saudi tourism.

Saudi Arabia: The Complete - Escorted Tour in 3 or 4* Hotels
Very uncomfortable small bus did not have enough room for our 9 guests, 3 translators, guide and driver, even on excursions where we only brought day-bags (rather than entire luggage); uncomfortable seats and NOT ENOUGH LEG ROOM for taller non-local Westerners, worthless torn cloth blinds on the windows that could not be securely open or closed. Each of our 3 translators (who also served as guides for the tour overall) was GREAT! Consistently helpful, capable and personable; very positive attitudes and considerate individuals: 5+ stars for them! Local guides were also consistently great, although there was an ugly scene between our Jeddah(?) guide and our driver, leading to a verbal argument and the guide stomping off the bus.

Behind the curtain of the spiritual Islam: A glance of Saudi Arabia

This was my first time in Saudi Arabia. I had a wonderful, safe experience. Our tour guide, Emmanuel, was outstanding and insured everyone’s needs were met. He was very organized, kept it positive, and fun!! The tour itself was a great way to get an overall sample of what the country has to offer! I highly recommend this tour and Explore for your tour company!!

What people love about fully guided tours in saudi arabia.
This trip was great. Al Ula is definitely the highlight. It will be great to go back when Jeddah's old town is restored to full glory. All guides/drivers made an excellent job. Highly recommended!
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Considering this was a budget tour, the hotels, clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms with good breakfasts. As we were only a group of 4 we travelled by car with a guide/driver. Salman in Riyadh was exceptional. What I appreciated most was the availability of Neis via WhatsApp or email. We had the odd hiccup which could be easily resolved. Great customer service. If opting for the Bahrain extension and traveling across the border by road, its very easy to obtain the visa at the border and you can even pay with Saudi currency – which is widely accepted in Bahrain. Tours in Bahrain are limited or quite costly, but we found it easy to get around to the places we wanted to see with Uber – efficient and reasonable prices. As I didn’t have global roaming I purchased an Esim in both of the countries – also simple and cheap.

Last chance to see 'Light Up Dubai': Adele show at Burj Khalifa this week
A light and sound show themed around the singer's james bond hit will take over the burj khalifa every night from today until saturday march 31.
The final 'Light Up Dubai' show will be themed around Adele's 2012 smash hit 'Skyfall'. Supplied
An Adele concert in Dubai may be a far off dream, but this week you'll get to see a performance of sorts from the superstar in Downtown Dubai.
At 8pm every weekday, and 10pm on weekends until Saturday March 31, the Burj Khalifa's 'Light Up Dubai' laser and sound show will revolve entirely around the 29-year-old singer's 2012 hit Skyfall , which she wrote for the James Bond movie of the same name.
The song won the Academy Award, Golden Globe and Critic's Choice Award for best original song.
The week-long Burj Khalifa Adele homage will be the final 'Light Up' show. The 'Light Up' shows take advantage of a new LED panel installed on the world's tallest building, and there has been one every night since New Year's Eve. Adele's Skyfall will be your final chance to see a 'Light Up' show - for the near future, at least.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Burj Khalifa by Emaar (@burjkhalifa)
The Skyfall 'Light Up' show will reach the tip of the Burj Khalifa's spire - at 828-metres tall.
The show will be free to watch, but expect crowds.
