Who designs Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfits?
Taylor has been bringing out the big guns for her global tour. Notable designers include Fausto Puglisi who heads up Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. Fausto describes himself as a Sicilian maverick. He designed 12 of the looks from Taylor’s Eras shows, including the skintight snake catsuit from the Reputation era, and the gold-fringed minidress from her Fearless era.

And Taylor isn’t the only superstar he has dressed – J-Lo and Zendaya have also had the honour. He also designed the cape that Madonna wore on her Madame X album.
Another designer that has been tapped by Taylor for her stage costumes is Donatella Versace. The legendary designer was the mastermind behind Taylor’s bejewelled bodysuits that feature in the Lover section of her shows.
And rounding off the Lover looks are a pair of custom-made, jewel-encrusted, knee-high boots from none other than Christian Louboutin. With their signature red soles, Louboutins are the footwear of choice for the rich, famous and impeccably dressed.

Italian dressmaker Alberta Ferretti also has a starring role on the Eras Tour. Her ethereal and dreamy gowns complements the Folklore section of Taylor’s shows completely.
Taylor has also selected a number of lesser-known names to wear alongside fashion powerhouses like Oscar de la Renta and Ellie Saab. Indie designer Anish Gupta created the sequin slogan T-shirts emblazoned with her iconic lyrics “WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, LIKE EVER”
And with that impressive list of designers, we couldn't resist the urge to round up all the Eras Tour stage ensembles she's worn so far, check out all the Taylor tour looks (as well as her newest additions)...
Taylor Swift opens with the Lover era
Taylor starts the beginning of every show looking drop-dead gorgeous in a custom Versace sequined bodysuit and sparkly Louboutin heels, setting the bar high for the rest of the concert's wardrobe!
She later accessories the look halfway through the 'Lover' set when she sports a bedazzled blazer over the top of the opening ensemble – wow!

- 'Cruel Summer'
- 'The Man'
- 'You Need to Calm Down'
- 'Lover'
- 'The Archer'
Taylor's Fearless setlist made everyone nostalgic
Next on the setlist was Taylor's 'Fearless' era, and she channelled her second studio album by stepping out in a re-imagination of her iconic glittered fringed dress.
She sings three tracks from 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)' all whilst twirling around with her rhinestones guitar, it's like its 2008 all over again!
- 'Fearless'

Taylor stunned in her Evermore get-up
Taylor brought the 'evermore' record alive when she donned a whimsical burnt yellow dress that seemed like it leapt straight from the stories of her folky album.
She even brought along a moss-covered piano to complete the 'evermore' aesthetic when singing 'Champagne Problems', in total she treated 70,000 fans to performances of five 'evermore' tracks.

Taylor brought back the drama of her Reputation tour
The 33-year-old pop star called back to her Reputation World Tour with the fiery look she donned during the next segment of the concert.
She brought all the drama as she performed in a snake-embellished one-legged bodysuit from Roberto Cavalli.
Taylor delivered four unforgettable 'Reputation' tracks, even bringing out dancers wearing a host of her most iconic looks during her 'Look What You Made Me Do' performance.
- '…Ready for It?'
- 'Delicate'
- 'Don’t Blame Me'
- 'Look What You Made Me Do'
Taylor brings the Speak Now's fairytale vibes to The Eras Tour
It may have been short but sweet but Taylor made quite the impact with the one song she chose to sing from the 'Speak Now' record.
Her fairytale-esque dresses are back for The Eras Tour as she belts out fan-favourite track 'Enchanted' whilst wearing a sequinned ball gown fit for a princess!
The gowns are strikingly similar to the Valentino one she wore during the 'Speak Now' tour back in 2012.
Taylor's iconic 'Red' looks are back on the stage
The next section of the tour sees Taylor don three looks that call back to her 'Red' album with looks we've seen before!
She kicks off this era with '22' and even sports one of her outfits from the music video, and of course, she just had to close the set with 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)' – she sure knows how to treat us!
- '22'
- 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'
- 'I Knew You Were Trouble'
- 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version)'
Taylor looks ethereal in her Folklore looks
Potentially one of the longest sets in the concerts, Taylor opts for a floaty floor length dress as she sings seven 'Folklore' songs!
Each night she rocks a Kate Bush-esque billowy gown to sing some of her most poetic tracks, giving fans an IRL rendition of this album for the first time – all whilst looking like an ethereal goddess.
- 'invisible string' / 'the 1'
- 'betty'
- 'the last great american dynasty'
- 'august'
- 'illicit affairs'
- 'my tears ricochet'
- 'cardigan'
Taylor is the 1989 pop princess all over again
Swift gave us another blast from the past with 1989 World Tour references whilst she sang the likes of 'Style', 'Shake It Off' and 'Bad Blood'.
She did so whilst wearing a bejewelled two-piece co-ord that just oozes her 2014 era, and the look comes in hot pink and emerald!
- 'Style'
- 'Blank Space'
- 'Shake It Off'
- 'Wildest Dreams'
- 'Bad Blood'
Taylor stuns in romantic gowns for her acoustic set
Taylor dials down the drama during her acoustic set that becomes the penultimate section of the show.
Each night she surprises fans with a stripped-back set of two songs every night that haven't before been in the setlist.
On opening night she sang 'Tim McGraw' and 'Mirrorball', read this article to get the full list of every surprise song she's performed so far.
Taylor's Midnights outfits end the show with a bang
Of course, Taylor ended her show with her most recent release and tenth studio album!
She knew how to finish off the event when she brought a seven-track set of 'Midnights' material to the stage and sported four iconic looks in the process.
From a lavender fur coat to a jet-black glittering bodysuit, Taylor pulled out all the stops for her closing era. What. A. Wardrobe!
- 'Lavender Haze'
- 'Anti-Hero'
- 'Midnight Rain'
- 'Vigilante Shit'
- 'Bejeweled'
- 'Mastermind'
- 'Karma'

What to Wear to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, Broken Down by Era
Whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe.
If you’re anything like team Marie Claire, you’ve been waiting for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour from the minute that it was announced. And whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe. Or, should I say, matches the eras of Swift’s music.
As a fan who got to attend the show in Boston recently, I was amazed at the wide array of looks at my show. Fans were decked out in Reputation -era snake print, glitter-encrusted face paint inspired by Swift's Lovers album cover, and plenty of DIY’d T-shirts from her Speak Now days. The bottom line? The looks varied widely, proving that you can truly go in any direction when picking your outfit for the Eras tour.
I love getting dressed up for concerts, but I also want to make sure that I can wear my new pieces again and again. It was a question I asked myself over and over while shopping for my own Eras Tour ensemble: Is the look good for me for right now, or good for me forever? In the end, I opted for a bedazzled mesh dress that I could also wear again on a night out over jeans or a slip dress . For the show, I opted to style it over a bodysuit for added coverage.
If you’re heading to the show this summer, there are a few key things to keep in mind, no matter what you wear. The show is long—five hours from the beginning of the opening act to the end of Swift’s set!—so you’ll want to wear comfortable clothing. Plus, if you’re the kind of fan who spends the majority of the concert jumping and dancing like you’re alone in your bedroom, you’ll want to wear something that you don’t have to worry about adjusting. Comfortable footwear is a must, so make sure that your new shoes don’t require breaking in before you go. Finally, the temperature tends to drop at night—especially if you’re at one of Swift’s rainier shows—so packing waterproof layers in your stadium-approved clear bag is key. (I wish I had packed a sweater.)
Ahead, I rounded up a selection of pieces for you to wear to the Eras Tour, broken down by Era. I’ve tried to think of everything: the shoes I’ve selected are known for being comfortable from the first wear. The dresses are comfortable to both sit and move around in. The jackets add warmth when you need them. Plus, many of the pieces below fall in line with some of summer 2023's biggest fashion trends .
Taylor Swift's Debut Album Era
If you’re dying for a debut self-titled album Secret Song at your show, wear something that harkens back to Swift’s first-ever era. This time in her career was defined by pastel blue and green shades, her iconic curling-iron curls, and her country twang. Consider cowboy boots and sweet tulle skirts.
Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' Era
Prefer gold to silver? The Fearless era is for you. This album had it all: Fireworks! A sparkly gold guitar! A gold fringed dress! More was more. To make it work, incorporate gold into your look via a pair of trendy sneakers , a going-out top in the hue, or by wearing a pair of viral gold jeans.
Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now' Era
Speak Now was defined by one color and one color only: A rich purple. It's the color Swift is wearing on the cover of the album, and it's the shade that has stayed attached to the record ever since. Sweet midi dresses and shoes that come in the same shade are go-tos for this era.
Taylor Swift's 'Red' Era
Red makes for an easy outfit because it only requires that you wear one color—red. Swift also went slightly preppy while on tour for the album, opting for a classic Breton striped shirt and red high-waisted denim . No matter which outfit vibe you choose, don’t forget your heart-shaped sunglasses.
Taylor Swift's '1989' Era
1989 is one of the more unique albums in Swift’s discography regarding her looks. While she repped matching sets on tour for the album, she's opted for orange ensembles while on the current Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Era
My personal favorite era as someone who loves to wear all-black, Reputation- inspired outfits are perfect for those who prefer a little drama. From the actual sheer mesh dress I wore to my own concert to a statement-making choker necklace priced at under $50, this era is all about going all-out.
Taylor Swift's 'Lover' Era
If you love playing with color, consider a Lover- era ensemble for your concert. The key colors for this era were bright Barbiecore pink and rich blue, but pastel shades like baby pink and lavender —a trending color for 2023—were also popular. Go all-out with a heart-shaped stencil around your eye, or heart-shaped earrings.
Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Era
Folklore was a departure from the previous maximalist Lover era. The aesthetic for the album was a combination of woodland fairy and cottagecore. On-stage, this translates to flowing summer dresses in muted shades like olive green. IRL, pair lacy layers with chunky cardigans and sweet Mary Jane shoes.
Taylor Swift's 'Evermore' Era
Cozy-core fans, the Evermore era is for you. Taylor’s second pandemic album was full of woodland references but, unlike its predecessor, the vibe this time around was very much fall-inspired. Flannel dresses, comfy Birkenstock sandals, and other comfy pieces reign supreme. Shades to highlight include marigold yellow and burnt red.
Taylor Swift's 'Midnights' Era
Good thing silver everything is one of 2023’s biggest trends—Taylor is obsessed with the shade for her Midnights era. Her looks from this time in her career are about metallics , drama, and deep shades like navy blue and fushia. If you can’t stop listening to “Karma” or You’re On Your Own Kid,” This one is for you.

100+ Taylor Swift Eras Tour Outfit Ideas + What to Wear to A Taylor Swift Concert!
Updated: Jan 17
It's been a long time coming but.... it's been a crazy few years for miss Taylor Swift. She's dropped hint after hint, easter egg after easter egg, song after song, music video after music video!! She's truly a great entertainer and artist, and genuinely one of my favorite musicians to fangirl over.
I got tickets to Taylor Swift's Era's tour, and am trying to decide what era I should go as. . I can't wait to see what Taylor Swift's concert outfits are for this tour!
What do I wear to a Taylor Swift concert? Especially to the Eras tour?
Attendees are planning to wear outfits inspired by their favorite Taylor Swift era. There are ten eras total: Taylor Swift (Self-Titled), Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights. Each era has its own vibe, color aesthetic, and specific pieces Taylor wore during those periods. For example, Reputation is an absolute classic, with snake print, black leather, and tons of sass. Or maybe the Red era? I mean, that one IS my favorite Taylor Swift album. Come as a sad autumn girl with a red scarf, black high-waisted shorts and oxfords— that's definitely a vibe.
But as I was thinking through this, I thought maybe I could make mood boards and help others find the perfect Taylor Swift outfits from amazon to wear to Taylor Swift's concert on her The Eras Tour! I assure you, while putting this list together, with each era I worked on I listened to the album ;) Guaranteed inspiration!
Because of each stadium's bag policy, concert-goers need to bring a clear see-through bag to the venue. Here are a few realyl cute ones I've found. The first is pretty simple, but you can find clear bags that are really stylized to fit your eras tour outfit!
I'm also seeing a lot of people at Taylor Swift's concerts wearing body glitter and hair gems! Here are some options online that are great for doing glitzy hair and makeup the day of the Eras tour concert. The hair gem style has been SUPER popular, and you'll find a lot of other gals at the tour that are rocking similar!
To start off, here are a few pieces that would be good for any of her eras. Concert attendees are wearing "Friendship Bracelets" (a nod to the song You're On Your Own Kid), and the era's charm bracelet as well, which are both available on Amazon!

NEW UPDATE! Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stage outfits
Taylor Swift Debut Era
T-Swift's self-titled album is a classic, with songs like "Picture to Burn", "Stay Beautiful", and "Should've Said No". With so many Taylor Swift album era options, this one will surely stand out and be super identifiable.
Taylor Swift's debut album is a whimsical journey through the enchanting world of teenage dreams and heartaches. Bursting with charm and a sprinkle of country sweetness, the album encapsulates the essence of Taylor's early years as a rising star. The aesthetic is like a vintage photo album, filled with snapshots of innocent crushes, teardrop-stained diaries, and the magic of first loves. The vibe is undeniably cute, as Taylor's relatable lyrics and catchy melodies transport you to a world where love letters are written in glittery pens, and every emotion is felt with an extra touch of sparkle. It's a musical hug from the past that leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling and a desire to dance around your room like no one's watching.
How to dress in Taylor Swift (Self-Titled) era outfits
When you want to dress like the self-titled Taylor Swift album, you've got to transport yourself back to good ol' 2006! That means low rise flare jeans, floral dresses, and plenty of cowgirl boots. Taylor's look back then involved more soft, butterfly-like looks that harken back to her country roots.
The Taylor Swift Debut vibe: Teals, greens, butterfly, cowgirl, floral, low rise jeans, and flannels.
Where to find these Taylor Swift (Debut Album) outfits:
Moving onto Taylor Swift's sophomore album, Fearless...
Fearless Era (Plus Taylor's Version)
Fearless is when Taylor Swift really started to gain speed in the music industry, and the era evokes an true nostalgia for the early Tay years!
Taylor Swift's "Fearless" album, both the original and Taylor's version, exude a timeless charm that feels like a musical hug from a dear friend. The aesthetic is a blend of sunlit fields and starlit nights, capturing the essence of young love and fearless adventures. With a dash of country twang and a sprinkle of pop magic, the album's vibe is irresistibly cute, much like a handwritten love letter sealed with a kiss. Taylor's reimagined version adds an extra layer of nostalgia, like finding a cherished childhood toy in the attic. It's a journey back to a place where heartbreaks were mended with laughter, and every melody carried the promise of a new beginning. The vibe is like a cozy sweater, warm and comforting, inviting you to relive those moments and create new memories with the same wide-eyed wonder.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Fearless era outfits
She loves sparkly dresses. Always has, always will. But this was the first era to REALLY bring that to the forefront. Soft whimsical touches, earthy kind of feelings, with a little bit of edginess.
The Taylor Swift Fearless vibe: Golds, sparkly dresses, fairy-tale fluff, elastic headbands, cowgirl boots, and boho.
Where to find these outfits:
Next up is Taylor Swift's third album, Speak Now! You can get inspired by the original Speak Now era, or the new Taylor's Version.
Speak Now Era
A fairytale in a nutshell, Speak Now era is like a sparkly purple dream.
Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" album is a whimsical fairy tale spun with the threads of love, courage, and a sprinkle of daydream magic. The aesthetic is like a storybook come to life, filled with enchanted forests and castle walls where Taylor fearlessly takes center stage. The vibe is both daring and adorable, as if each song were a secret whispered in a moonlit garden. With a blend of country roots and pop melodies, the album dances through the pages of a romantic novel, where every chorus is a chapter and every bridge a thrilling plot twist. It's a musical adventure that invites you to join Taylor in a world where love conquers all, and each note is a charming invitation to step into a dreamscape where happily ever afters are set to a delightful melody.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Speak Now era outfits
I tapped into a few iconic Taylor Swift outfits from the Speak Now era, which welcomed in her love for oxfords, vintage pieces, and an overall romantic take on everything. Finding the perfect halter purple dress from Speak Now era is ESSENTIAL. I've added the one I found below!
The Taylor Swift Speak Now vibe: Purple EVERYTHING, the number 13, slouchy beanies, flannels, twee Oxford heels, whimsical dresses, and revenge. Lots of revenge.
Here are some more modern versions of the Speak Now era (now with Taylor's Version!!)
Next is my FAVORITE era, the RED era!
Red Era (Plus Taylor's Version)
Arguably the best Taylor Swift album, hands down. RED is my personal favorite from her discography, mostly because this is the era where I because a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, rather than just a casual listener. All of the raw pain and anguish in this album make this era (and the TV era!) probably what I'm going to choose for the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour!
Taylor Swift's RED era is a sartorial symphony of passion and bold statements. The clothing aesthetic is a captivating blend of vintage glamour and modern sophistication, reflecting the album's emotional rollercoaster. Taylor dons iconic red dresses that symbolize both heartbreak and empowerment, showcasing her fearless style evolution. Picture timeless silhouettes, chic high-waisted shorts, and classic red lips that become a signature touch. The vibe is a mix of retro vibes and contemporary chic, with Taylor effortlessly balancing elegance and edge. From the glitzy red-carpet gowns to the laid-back yet stylish streetwear, every outfit in the RED era tells a story of self-discovery and resilience. It's a fashion journey that captures the essence of love, loss, and the vibrant hues of a life lived unapologetically.
How to dress in Taylor Swift RED era outfits
This era probably has some of the most iconic fashion moments of Taylor Swift's career. The Taylor Swift red tour outfits were amazing. The "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" and "22" looks just scream 2012! Now ten years later in 2022, this style is still just as amazing and showstoppping... and iconically RED . Try to find a good striped shirt and some tailored high waisted shorts, and add a pair of red Keds to complete the look!
The Taylor Swift RED vibe: The color red (bright, like the original, or deep, like Taylor's Version), spectator Oxford shoes, heart sunglasses, fedora hats, high wasted shorts, and KEDS.
The "Not a lot going on at the moment" shirt is a classic for sure. You can buy it below. Also, with Taylor's new tour, she has a shirt that says "A LOT going on at the moment" too, which is featured here where I have some outfit ideas that are inspired by her concert looks from this Eras era!
During the show, Taylor gives her fedora-type hat to someone special in the audience. You can match her by wearing a black hat from her RED era!
From the RED Taylor's Version album cover, don a trench coat and a burnt Sienna newsboy cap, and the autumn leaves start to fall like pieces into place for your Taylor Swift concert outfit.
I Bet You Think About Me - Taylor Swift concert outfit idea
Something from RED Taylor's Version that is an instant showstopper: the I Bet You Think About Me outfit!
Here's where you can grab it:
Onto many people's favorite -- 1989!! This is the most recent Taylor's Version to come out. "1899 (Taylor's Version)" is not just an album; it's a captivating invitation to step into a lyrical ballroom where each song is a dance through time, and Taylor is the enchanting guide, gracefully leading us through the echoes of a century past.
A HUGE era for Taylor, commercially and her tour! She has so many fun and glitzy looks from this 1989 era. I pulled some Taylor Swift tour costumes from amazon that will make people double-take.... wait, is that Taylor Swift?? No? Shake it off!
How to dress in Taylor Swift 1989 era outfits
Be sure to wear plenty of sequins, shiny fabrics, and two-piece outfits for a true 1989 era look from Taylor Swift! Add on the quintessential white rayon-type sunglasses to look like a true 1989 fan.
The Taylor Swift 1989 vibe: Sequins! Lots of blues and silver sparkles, crop tops, white rayon sunglasses, and sparkly fringe.
One of these outfits is a callback to Taylor's look at the 2016 Grammy Awards. I think it's such a unique outfit to wear to the Era's tour, because it's not exactly a "era" look, but something SO iconic from that era! Also, can you GET more 1989 than a pair of white rayon sunglasses? They were a staple piece in Taylor Swift's 1989 era.
A callback to a Swift inside joke, the yellow "No It's Becky" shirt is available on amazon!
Seagulls everywhere, on everything. With the new 1989 Taylor's Version coming out, the coastal pale blue vibe is going to be a good choice.
If you want to be a little silly, you could come literally dressed like a seagull:
Reputation Era
This era is the most similar to my own personal style, so when I attended the Rep tour, I was living my best life!! All her songs have a pop edge to them, so make sure to dress accordingly.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Reputation era outfits
Wear as much snake print, black, fishnet, and combat-wear you can find. The more you look like a hell-raiser, the better for Taylor Swift reputation outfits. I've added in a few cool amazon t-shirts in here as well from the era!
The Taylor Swift Reputation vibe: Snake print, black sequins, camouflage print, chains, combat boots, and slicked back hair.
Much like her album cover, you can find a newspaper Reputation dress below!
Lover was all bright pink and multicolored, and it was AMAZING. The fun songs (and some deep love songs) created an incredible album from Taylor Swift.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Lover era outfits
Pink, lots of pink. Actually, all pink. Just kidding! I put together some outfit ideas that are inspired by some of her performance looks and music video outfits from the Lover era.
The Taylor Swift Lover vibe: Lots of pink, multicolor, fringe, pearls, iridescence, hearts, and sweetness all around.
Grab a hot pink jacket and pearl sunglasses to look like Taylor from "You Need to Calm Down"! Choosing to wear a pastel sky print is such a Lover look, similar to her album cover!
Check out these gorgeous Lover-esque earrings and accessories:
Just like in the "ME!" music video, you can wear a heart shaped top like Taylor for the concert.
Makeup for your Lover eras tour outfit
If you're wanting to dress up as Taylor's Lover era, it's a sweet detail to do the heart shape makeup over her eye like she does on her album cover! In order to do that, you'll need two main items: liquid latex and skin-safe pink glitter. You can find them here:
I've used the liquid latex above before and it works really well. All you'll need to do is outline the heart around your eye with the liquid latex, wait for it to get tacky, and then apply the pink glitter!
Folklore Era
If you aren't the sparkly-dress Taylor Swift fan, and want to be a sad cottage-core girl, here is your chance! This album screams alone-in-the-woods-and-in-the-feels.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Folklore era outfits
Tap into the cottage-core look and opt for some comfy sweaters, cardigans, and ditsy floral prints. I've grabbed a few items that look similar to the outfits she wore on some of her photoshoots from this era.
The Taylor Swift folklore vibe: Knit sweaters, plaid jackets, chunky boots, mushrooms, trees and a general folksy vibe.
Evermore Era
Am I crazy to say that Evermore is one of my favorite TSwift albums? It's definitely the most forgotten one, but WOW does it have some bops, both sad and lovely.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Evermore era outfits
This era was so short-lived, but it gave us some beautiful looks! An easy go-to would be the brown/orange plaid jacket from Evermore. (I've linked on similar) Also, the Willow music video is a huge inspiration for these, and other Swifties will know exactly what you're going for!
The Taylor Swift evermore vibe: Deep plaids, ethereal jewelry, greens, leather boots, turtlenecks, and flown dresses.
From the "Willow" music video, you can choose a more whimsical and fairy-like look to fit in with the Evermore era! Below you can also find a dark green velvet cape like she wears during her Evermore set at the Eras Tour!
Midnights Era
Midnights only came out a few weeks ago while I'm writing this, so I'm still reeling from this album release! I know from the second I hear "Anti-Hero" that it would be an instant classic.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Midnights era outfits
When it comes to the looks from Midnights era, they span from glitzy blue midnight dresses and plenty of sparkles, mixed with vintage looks that evoke a sense of 70s retro. Combining these all together will be the ultimate Midnights tour outfit!
The Taylor Swift Midnights vibe: Honestly, Taylor's Midnights aesthetic is all over the place, but can be boiled down to: 70s vintage, starry night, retro, oranges, blues, lavender, clocks, and anything, and I mean anything that is bejeweled.
Inspired by her 70's glam looks in much of the material for the release of her album midnights, you can don some burnt orange and corduroy and fit in well! The top and fur jacket look similar to the starry dress Taylor wore out when she was promoting "Midnights". For a more casual "Midnights" look, you can wear this sheer celestial top as well. Check out some of these that also scream "Lavender Haze"!
Where're ya going? You going out tonight? ;)
You can find a corset similar to Taylor's from her "Bejeweled" music video!
Taylor Swift's Stage Outfits
If you want to come to the concert the MOST prepared, you can dress like the current Era: the Eras era! Pretty meta, right? Here are some of the outfits that Taylor's been wearing on her tour that you can recreate in your concert outfit:
Stage outfit 1— Midnights era Lavender Haze jacket
Taylor wears a pink/lavender sparkly dress with a fun faux-fur lavender coat. You can find a super sparkly dress and add a lavender faux fur coat, and look just like Taylor!
Stage outfit 2— Evermore era pink dress
Taylor's whimsical pink dress during her Evermore era is GORGEOUS. Play up your own ethereal vibe and wear a similar dress to the Eras tour!
Stage outfit 3— Reputation era jumpsuit
Taylor wears this awesome one-legged jumpsuit with red snakes all over it. You can buy a black sparkly jumpsuit and attach red snake appliqués to create a look similar to it.
Stage outfit 4— Sparkly RED era jacket
The RED era (my favorite!) has Taylor donning a long red sparkle trench coat. You can look similar to this in either this red velvet long trench I've found, or a men's sparkly suit jacket!
Stage outfit 5— "A LOT Going On At The Moment" shirt
She's reinvented her own RED era look with a shirt that instead of saying "Not a lot going on at the moment" it says "A LOT going on at the moment"! I've found a shirt that says exactly that new phrase on Amazon. Taylor also pairs it with a pair of sparkly black bottoms and a black hat.
Stage outfit 6— 1989 era green two piece
A very Taylor typical outfit, more sparkles! And this time we're working with fun and bright green. She has a sparkle fringed two piece set on stage.
I hope you find some awesome inspiration on what to wear to Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour! See ya there :)

Such cute outfits and a big help
Amazing! It really lifts my spirits that I've helped other Swifties find a good outfit for the Era tour. I hope your concert is epic!
This was so helpful I got so many compliments on my outfit
Yay!!!! I'm so, so glad this helped, it makes me so happy. I'm excited for my tour stop (Pittsburg!) to show off my Taylor Swift era outfit; I'm going with Red.
This is an amazing resource! I’m still looking for Red inspo. Do you have any pant/shirt ideas? I’m not into dresses that much.
Thank you so much! If I find anything worth sharing, I’ll put the links down here.

Taylor Swift's long-awaited Eras Tour has finally started and the singer is delivering on all fronts — from performance to vocals and, of course, fashion.
On opening weekend, Taylor Swift gave us plenty of whimsical, elegant, and nostalgic looks as we traveled with her through the eras of her career. She wore a handful of familiar styles, with slight tweaks to fit her current style, and gave us plenty of sparkle and shine. Throughout 15+ more stop stops (and counting), Taylor has given us even more memorable fashion moments.

If you are scouring the internet to find out where each look is from, fret not. Here's a look at all the looks Taylor Swift has from during her Eras Tour — from opening night in Glendale, Arizona, to some of her most recent shows in New Jersey and Chicago — and what you can expect to see her wear if you plan on attending one of the upcoming shows.
1. Lover era
The first era is Lover , a time that signified growth, comfort, and basking in the glow of the daylight. Taylor starts the night off in a custom Versace bodysuit , bright and bold. She pairs it with an equally shiny pair of custom, studded Louboutin boots . Night one's bodysuit was a playful, iridescent purple color, and she opted for a slightly more elegant, gold-colored one for the second night of the Eras tour kickoff weekend.
The shoes are sparkly, but they aren't really the star of the show until she puts on a blazer, also studded, and also Versace, and performs "The Man." The shoes instantly grabbed the spotlight as she kicked her heels up and flashed the red bottoms. This is the first of several pairs of custom Louboutins that Taylor wears throughout the night – they're the sole footwear provider for the tour , just like during the Reputation tour.
At her show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the star debuted a new Versace bodysuit that sparkled even brighter than the original one she wore. There are brighter crystals, shining in purple, and extra details, like tassels down her thigh. She paired the new bodysuit with a pair of ombré bedazzled Versace heels, also in purple. Adorning her neck was the Versace Crystal Butterflies Chain Necklace to complete the look.
2. Fearless era
By Kara Nesvig
In a seamless transition to the era that sealed the deal for her as a stage performer and style icon, the Fearless era portion of the night brought back shimmery dresses made to move around. The boots stay on, but she trades out the sparkly bodysuit to dance in a storm in her best dress.
One of the big themes in her clothes throughout the night is fringe, which becomes an accessory to the singer as she moves around the stage and dances around singing her best hits. This custom Roberto Cavalli dress allows her to do just that, move around freely and shine bright.
On the second night of the tour, Taylor opted for fringe down the legs in another Roberto Cavalli custom dress embellished with Swarovski crystals. Again, the movements looked just as mesmerizing in this dress as the first night.
As the tour has continued, Taylor has debuted another equally stunning dress to embody the Fearless era. The dress is similar to her custom Roberto Cavalli dress with fringe down her leg, but in silver.
3. Acoustic interlude
During the opening night, Taylor referenced her debut era playing her first-ever hit song, "Tim McGraw." This era falls into an acoustic set, where Taylor does one of her favorite things: She plays two surprise songs each night to give every fan a unique experience during the show they choose to attend. The acoustic, slowed-down portion of the show gives the fans a breather, a time to connect with their favorite singer as she’s able to take a seat at the piano and chat with the crowd before she gives a surprise performance.
During this segment, she has so far worn a Jessica Jones dress with ruffles that hug her frame as she sits by the piano. The first night she wore a magenta-colored version of the dress. On night two, it was green. We first wondered if we'd see more colors as the tour continued and TSwift delivered. She’s also worn the stunning dress in a yellow shade as well.
4. evermore era
Next up is evermore era, for which Taylor wears a simple but bright mustard dress from Etro , also custom. To perform the songs from this quaint but grand era, the stage is set with trees along a foggy backdrop. The tone of the show shifts here. This is where Taylor gets to sit at the piano and commandeer the crowd with her lyrics. There is no need for fringe and sparkles as the crowd sings along at the top of their lungs to "champagne problems" to accompany her.
5. Reputation era
During the Reputation tour, Taylor made a bold choice to abandon the pants and embrace the bodysuit. She brings that energy back to represent this era with one of the fiercest ones we've ever seen her in; an asymmetrical, show-stopping black and red colored custom Roberto Cavalli one . As we've realized by now, nothing on this tour will be dull on the sparkle, and this number features sequins studded along the leg in that infamous snake pattern familiar to this era.
6. Speak Now era
To sing one singular song from the Speak Now era, the fan-favorite "Enchanted," Taylor emerges ready to impress. You can't help but be enchanted by the soft glow reflecting off the sparkles of the Nicole + Felicia Couture bespoke gown she's wearing. This is reminiscent of the Valentino gown she wore when she sang this song on the Speak Now tour but grander, and of course, with more bling.
On night two of the tour in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor switched up this look and gave the audience an equally shiny but slightly different look, opting for a Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown with a starburst design embellishment.
This portion of the show is where she’s been able to switch it up the most. As the tour progressed, the star has given us plenty of glorious gowns to “ooh” and “aah” at. Another Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown was added to the Speak Now era collection, with thousands of sequins sewn on in a starburst design.
Some nights, she graces the stage in an Elie Saab Fall 2020 Couture gown that is full of tulle and drama. Other nights, she opts for something a bit more simple, but elegant: an Ellie Saab Couture gown from Fall/Winter 2022, straight from the runway that has fabric flowers sewn down the bottom half of the dress. This dress’s train drags behind her as she walks down the catwalk of the massive stage softly and slowly, matching the tone of the song.
The next era is introduced in a spirited manner as Taylor revisits a popularly recreated look: the "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" T-Shirt from the "22" music video. This look is paired with a Gladys Tamez hat that she gives to a lucky audience member during the performance.
On the second night of the tour, she opted to poke a bit of fun at herself with a T-shirt that read "Who's Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew" after lyrics from the song "22" instead.
As the North American tour reached its halfway point, she introduced another shirt that says, “We Are Never Getting Back Together, Like Ever.” The sequined shirts are all custom by Ashish , who also made the original shirt in the “22” music video. Once the t-shirt is removed, a beautiful red-to-black ombré bodysuit is revealed, fittingly so for the Red era.
When it's time to sing her magnum opus, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)," a sparkly red overcoat is added atop the already striking bodysuit. She puts her best foot forward for a song that has a story as remarkable as her career, with a red guitar to match.
She also used this time, for the first half of the tour, to bring out her collaborator and tour opener Phoebe Bridgers to sing their acoustic and emotional song “Nothing New.” On Bridgers’s last night on the Eras tour, Swift showed off a chain around her neck that held a small pendant. It was later revealed that the pendant was the Give You The Moon Charm from Phoebe Bridgers’ Catbird collection. Her footwear for this portion of the show is a seemingly comfortable pair of loafers from Louboutin .
8. folklore era
For the folklore portion, we see the singer in a beautiful, muted purple Alberta Ferretti dress full of ruffles and flares. It's "fairy in the woods meets cozy baking in a cottage," which are exactly the right vibes of this imaginative and rustic era.
During her performance of "august," Taylor uses body movements across the stage to express her frustration, and the lavender-toned dress added the perfect amount of drama and flair to the performance. As she moved, the chiffon fabric moved along with her seamlessly. On night two, she wore a similarly graceful Alberta Ferretti dress , but in white. It had curtain drapes with delicate hanging threads, adding a beautiful texture to its movement.
Taylor loves to swiftly move around the stage in various Alberta Ferretti dresses during the most emotional portions of the folklore era. She’s shown us two more versions of custom dresses that were created for this portion of the show.
9. 1989 era
As the night progresses, we see more and more fringe. How else would we see the iconic "Shake It Off" movements except in another Roberto Cavalli custom two-piece set covered in chunky fringe with sequins in various shapes and sizes? This look is similar to what the singer wore on her 1989 tour.
On the first night of the tour, the co-ord set was magenta . On the second night of the tour, she swapped it for the same set, except in bright green.
As the tour has continued, the pop queen has added an additional color to the 1989 co-ord repertoire. We’ve now seen the same Roberto Cavalli set in orange as well. How many colors will we see in total throughout the tour?
10. Midnights era
As we reach the present-day era, Midnights , we get to the peak of extravagance and pomp. It's time to celebrate the eras past that have allowed Taylor to become the artist and performer she is today. The dress she chose to perform the culmination of her career is a custom Oscar De La Renta that's looser fitting but still heavy and studded in iridescent crystals. It's paired with a new set of custom Louboutins studded in black crystals. To add more drama, she has a fur coat on, also a custom piece from Oscar De La Renta. Everything about this look screams "Bejeweled," a song placed near the end of the setlist but a vibe that's exuded for the entirety of the night.
As this era progresses, she sheds layers. The dress is shed to reveal an Oscar De La Renta custom bodysuit , an article of clothing she seems to be very comfortable performing in. This time, there's black detailing. It's soft but striking and just sexy enough to perform the Cell Block Tango-esque choreography to "Vigilante Sh*t" with chairs and all. She even added a garter to her thigh to give a bit of a sexy edge to complete the look.
To finish off the show, another layer is added with even more fringe and even more sparkle, if that's even possible. This multi-colored statement piece is fabulous, and it's a perfect way to physically represent just what the last three hours and 15 minutes were all about: Taylor celebrating and shining with the 70,000 other people in the room with her.

It’s almost time, Swifties! The Eras Tour is nearly here and we can’t contain our excitement. In anticipation for the show, Taylor Swift Eras tour outfits are currently trending on TikTok and there are so many ways you can pull out all the stops with your look. Here are a few of our favorites.
How Do I Style An Outfit For the Tour?
We recommend using each era’s overall vibe as inspiration for your outfits instead of replicating the exact looks Taylor’s worn in past performances or music videos. This is a far more stylish approach that’s easier to put together and isn’t quite as costume-y.
Which Era Should I Pick?
The easiest way to choose an era is to go by your favorite album. Alternatively, if you can’t possibly choose one favorite album, go with an era that best matches some of the clothes you already have in your closet.
Still stuck? We put together some looks from each era for you ahead.
Taylor Swift’s self-titled album was released when she was just 17 years old—back when she was still clinging on to her country roots. This album had an ethereal country vibe and featured lots of eyelet patterns, white dresses and the like. If you want to dress as debut era Taylor, you’ll obviously need some cute cowgirl boots, and either a denim skirt and frilly blouse combo or a white dress. Don’t forget the cowgirl hat and a head full of tight curls to complete the look.

2. Fearless
This was one of Taylor’s sparkliest eras. And if you went to this tour, you know just how magical it was. If you’re going “Fearless” for the Eras tour, you must fully commit to some glitz and glam. From your boots to your dress to your jewelry, you want to look like you’re a firework. We have a feeling this is going to be a popular choice for Swifties in most cities.

3. Speak Now
If you’re on #swifttok, you probably know the theories that this will be her next re-release are swirling like crazy. This was Taylor’s third studio album and it remains a favorite among many Swifties. The purple-themed era features total bangers like “Long Live” and “Better Than Revenge” along with tear jerkers like “Never Grow Up.” If you’re wearing purple to the Eras tour, everyone will know you are going with “Speak Now” for your look. We recommend upping the ante a bit with a pair of sleek cowgirl boots, a purple dress of your choosing and curls on curls on curls.
Speak Now Looks

Superdown Tanea Mini Dress
As much as we want to sport a big red scarf and full fall get-up, the tour is taking place over the spring and summer so it might be a smidge too warm for all those layers. This album features one of Taylor’s top songs of all time “All Too Well,” as well as tearjerkers like “Sad Beautiful Tragic” and “22,” which we giddily scream-sang with our friends on our 22 nd birthday. If you’re planning to match the 2012 Red era, go for the famous black shorts, white top and black wide-brimmed hat. And if you show up to the concert without a bright red lip , you’re doing it wrong.
Reformation Overland Linen Top
AGOLDE Recycled Leather Shorts
Come on, we all wished we were part of Taylor’s girl gang in her iconic “Bad Blood” music video. This album gave us some total bops and unforgettable music videos. The 1989 vibe is very girly and fun with lots of celebratory bright colors, which is why it’s a great option for your Eras Tour outfit. Go with a wrap mini skirt instead of the skater skirt to stick with current trends, and add a sheer colored button-down and a pair of retro Wayfarer sunnies.

6. Reputation
Are you ready for it? We are. This album’s sparkly black and snake theme is edgy and feminine in the most femme fatale way possible. The 2017 studio album was a response to some drama involving a few unmentionable celebrities, but we don’t need to tell you what went down since Taylor already did in her tracks. If you went to this tour, you’ll remember the gigantic snake head that came out of the stage during her set that left audiences across the world in shock (in the best way). We honestly think this is the easiest look to pull off since sparkles, black and snake print accessories are everywhere. If you dress in head-to-toe black with a pop of sparkle, your point will be made, but add some snake accents to really sell your Reputation look.
Reputation Looks

Madewell The Perfect Vintage Faux Leather Pants
We fell in love with this pastel-painted era just as hard as Taylor fell in love with her new man, Joe Alwyn. Plus, it’s the first-ever studio album she owns . Whether you want to dress in a pink, poofy dress to emulate the Lover era or wear a tie-dyed cloud of pastel shades, you can accessorize your look with some heart-shaped hair pins or even draw a glittery heart around one eye to really commit to the theme.
Lover Looks
Selkie the puff dress.
Steve Madden Polly Heels
8. folklore
We’re not saying you have to wear a cardigan to pull off this era, but it sure would be cute. This folksy era transitioned Taylor’s sound from her usual pop hits to an indie folk, alternative rock genre. Did you know the names of characters featured in this album (Inez, Betty and James) are the names of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ kids ? Since Taylor is so close with the couple, she asked if she could use their names in the songs, which is also how their then-youngest daughter, Betty’s name was revealed to the public for the first time.If you’re looking to emulate this album for your tour outfit, stick to neutral tones and simple Renaissance-silhouette styles.
folklore Looks
Cider secret garden corset dress.
Everlane The Italian Leather Day Heel
9. evermore
Like folklore, evermore has an indie folk, alternative rock vibe to it and was also released in 2020. The surprise release had fans in absolute shock since it didn’t follow Taylor’s standard two-to-three-year gap between albums. evermore is very natural and simple in style, so sticking to those muted shades and punching things up with a hint of grunge via a pair of combat boots will elevate this laid-back look. And don’t forget the single French braid.
evermore Looks
Endless summer liesel mini dress.
Madewell Kacie Mini Shirtdress
10. Midnights
Considering her most recent album broke all kinds of records , we predict this era be a popular look at her concerts. You can feel the power of her emotions in this record, from pain to sorrow to love and regret. (Seriously, you can almost taste the resentment she has for John Mayer in "Would've, Could've, Should've"). Whether you want to follow her “Anti-Hero” music video look or you try her sparkly blue and sliver look from the VMAs after party you can’t go wrong. If you want to sport a lot of lavender in honor of the iconic “Lavender Haze” video, this is where we recommend copying the look as closely as possible so you don’t get confused for 'Speak Now' Taylor.

Taylor Swift is officially in her “Eras” era. On March 17 and 18, the singer kicked off her Eras tour in Glendale, Arizona, which temporarily renamed itself Swift City, ERAzona, in honor of the start of the tour.
It might only be the first leg of her Eras Tour , but Swift is already delivering when it comes to fashion. During her Glendale set, the singer sported looks from Oscar de la Renta, Alberta Ferretti and Versace, among many other notable designers. While her fans are attending the tour for the music, Swift is poised to give a mini-fashion show at each leg. WWD has rounded up some of the singer’s looks so far.

Swift unveiled another sequin Versace number during the Las Vegas leg of the Eras Tour. The silver sequin blazer dress was coordinated with silver sequin Louboutin boots that hit below the knee.
Swift donned another version of her custom bodysuit from Versace for her Arlington, Texas performance. This bodysuit came with a different color scheme, featuring sequins in bronze, gold and aqua.
Nicole Felicia Couture
Swift looked like a Disney princess come to life in this Nicole Felicia custom ballgown. The costume alluded to a previous gown Swift wore on the “Speak Now Tour” that was designed by Valentino. Swift also wore this designer in her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video.
Oscar de la Renta
For the finale act of weekend one of the Eras Tour, Swift wore two looks from Oscar de la Renta. The first was a black sequin bodysuit with fringe trim paired with sparkling black Louboutin boots, and the second was a midnight bodysuit, crystal T-shirt and lavender faux fur coat, both inspired by her “Midnights” album.
For her MetLife Stadium leg of the tour, Swift brought out Ice Spice to perform the remix of her song “Karma.” Swift wore a custom midnight blue sequin bodysuit from Oscar de la Renta.
Roberto Cavalli
Another standout look that set the internet abuzz was an asymmetrical sequin bodysuit with a beaded pattern of snakes on it referencing what some fans called her “snake era.”
In a classic Taylor Swift look, the singer wore a sparkling fringe dress with sparkling silver boots. She wore a similar gold fringe dress from Roberto Cavalli for the opening of her Speak Now Tour.
A stylie that was a testament to the craftsmanship of the Roberto Cavalli brand was a dégradé look created using thousands of hand-applied Swarovski crystals. The outfit was paired with knee-high sequin Christian Louboutin boots.
Alberta Ferretti
Swift wore two custom Alberta Ferretti gowns for her Glendale dates, both featuring Grecian and cottagecore inspiration. Both gowns were made from chiffon and featured airy fluid silhouettes.
Channeling her “Folklore” era, Alberta Ferretti created this dress for Taylor Swift channeling a wood nymph fairy. This green dress with its leaf design detail is a custom look from Alberta Ferretti’s spring 2023 collection worn for the Tampa leg of the Eras Tour.
Zuhair Murad
For another bohemian cottagecore look, Swift wore an orange ruffled, tie-front dress. The one-of-a-kind dress was created by Etro’s creative director Marco de Vincenzo.
Swift poked fun at herself in this custom T-shirt from Ashish Studio. Underneath the T-shirt, she wore a sequin bodysuit that looked like a regular pair of shorts.
On the East Rutherford leg of her tour, Ashish draped Swift in this custom red sequin duster with a trench-style silhouette. The duster contrasted with her sparkling black guitar.
Swift was the bell of her own ball for the night one of the Tampa Swift leg of her tour wearing a dark beige silk tulle ballgown featuring a silver crystal embroidered bodice with long sleeves, scoop neckline, and a dramatic, cascading skirt fully embroidered with gardenia-colored organza petals from Elie Saab’s fall 2022 couture collection.
Jessica Jones
Swift unveiled her red tiered pleated dress custom designed by Jessica Jones during the Tampa performance of the Eras Tour. She joined fellow musician Aaron Dessner on stage as they did a guitar duet.

Every outfit Taylor Swift wears on the Eras Tour, ranked
- Taylor Swift recently kicked off the South American leg of the Eras Tour .
- She has worn more than 40 different outfits on stage, with unique styles for each album.
- Insider's music team ranked them from worst to best, with the original "Lover" bodysuit in the top spot.
46. The surprise song dress in yellow
Each night during the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift performs an acoustic set with two surprise songs .
The dress for this segment is designed for a quick change; Swift slips it over the "1989" outfit while still on stage. It makes sense for the dress to be plain. But it doesn't make sense for the fabric to be the same color as Big Bird.
Frankly, the yellow dress is ugly. It's way too yellow.
45. The surprise song dress in green
The green dress isn't ugly, but it's not especially stunning either.
44. The surprise song dress in pink
The pink dress still isn't anything to write home about, but generally speaking, Swift looks good in pink.
43. The surprise song dress in blue
Swift wore blue versions of several classic tour looks for the night she announced "1989 (Taylor's Version)."
This is the best surprise song dress, purely because it reminds me of Sharpay Evans singing "Bop to the Top."
42. The "Speak Now" ballgown that's growing mushrooms
The flowers plopped all over this dress are flimsy and unpleasant-looking. I would be glad to never see it again.
41. The "Red" romper
Honestly, Swift's outfits never slay during the "Red" segment, but the ombre romper is the worst offender. It's not terrible, but it doesn't do anything for her.
40. The "All Too Well" jacket
Swift dons glittery, floor-grazing outerwear to perform "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)," which helps make the "Red" segment a bit more sophisticated — though it doesn't match the somber vibe of the song. I much preferred the sleek look that Swift wore to perform the song on "Saturday Night Live."
39. The "22" shirt
There are three versions of this shirt, inspired by an outfit worn by Swift in the "22" music video: "A lot going on at the moment," "We are never getting back together like ever," and "Who's Taylor Swift anyway? Ew." The shirt is always paired with a black bowler hat.
The shirt isn't exactly high-fashion, but it gets extra points for the nostalgia factor. The hat is ugly, but it gets even more extra points for the cuteness factor, since Swift always gives it to a special fan in the crowd .
38. The "Fearless" dress in gold
As Insider's Courteney Larocca has bravely noted , the "weird noodle-like strings" that hang from this dress are absolutely uncalled for.
37. The "Fearless" dress in silver
Silver is slightly better than gold, but the tassels still look like octopus tentacles.
36. The cupcake-shaped "Speak Now" ballgown
It's too puffy!
35. The pink "Karma" jacket
It's too pink!
34. The pink-and-purple "Midnights" look
This is a much nicer shade of pink.
33. The blue-and-purple "Midnights" look
Blue makes sense for " Midnights ," especially because the album cover features a light-blue font, so this is a happier marriage than the purple coat and pink dress underneath.
32. The extra-sparkly "Midnights" look
This version of the T-shirt dress is slightly elevated, with multicolored gems scattered across the fabric.
31. The "Lavender Haze" look
The fuzzy coat that opens the "Midnights" segment is a reference to the "Lavender Haze" music video . This connection is most obvious when Swift wears the opalescent T-shirt dress underneath.
It kind of looks like Swift skinned a Muppet to make this coat, but don't worry: she confirmed in a behind-the-scenes clip that she would never wear real fur.
30. The blue "Karma" jacket
Blue-on-blue is a logical combo for the closing number, if a little predictable.
29. The multicolored "Karma" jacket
The multicolored fringe is a little chaotic, but it's a fun way to spice things up for the final song of the evening.
28. The hot pink "Karma" jacket
The contrast between Swift's bright skin, dark-blue bodysuit, and hot-pink fringe is very compelling.
27. The classic "Evermore" dress
For the majority of the US leg, Swift only had one look for the "Evermore" segment: a mustard-yellow dress that screams cottagecore. It's cute but nothing particularly special, and it has grown a little dull over time.
26. The bronze "Evermore" dress
Swift has only worn this alternate "Evermore" dress a handful of times, but it made for a nice change of pace — and the deep, sparkling bronze compliments the moody, wintery vibe of songs like "'Tis the Damn Season," "Champagne Problems," and "Tolerate It."
25. The gold "Speak Now" ballgown
The "Speak Now" outfit is a callback to the Speak Now World Tour, when Swift wore sparkly gowns while singing "Enchanted." For The Eras Tour, Swift pumped up the drama with voluminous skirts and embroidered jewels.
The gold version is fine, but looks slightly cheaper than its counterparts — like an extravagant prom dress.
24. The silver "Speak Now" ballgown
Instead of muted gold, silver offers a lovely contrast with the purple visuals of "Speak Now."
23. The pink "Speak Now" ballgown
The baby-pink version of the "Enchanted" gown is almost the best, with its flattering neckline and strips of sparkles that resemble falling rain.
22. The purple "Lover" bodysuit with tassels
The deep purple hue made for an exciting change when Swift debuted this look in East Rutherford, New Jersey — but the tassels throw off the whole effect. They make the bodysuit look cheaper than it is.
21. "1989" in orange
The orange set is nice, but it's the weakest link of the "1989" colors (and signals that she'll wear the yellow surprise-song dress).
Maybe it's a subtle Easter egg for "Karma," the rumored album that Swift scrapped in between "1989" and "Reputation." (In the music video for "The Man," the word is graffitied on the wall in orange paint.)
20. "1989" in green
The green is prettier than orange, but not as pretty as pink.
19. "1989" in pink
Although hot pink isn't quite right for the overall vibe of "1989," it does pair well with the girlish charm of "Blank Space" and the fiery passion of "Bad Blood."
18. "1989" in blue
After 26 concerts, we finally got to see Swift perform songs from "1989" wearing the album's distinctive color. This glittering blue set recalls the New York City skyline that inspired Swift's iconic pop songs.
17. The newest "Midnights" bodysuit
The latest edition of the "Midnights" bodysuit is likely designed to resemble an outfit that Swift wore during the 1989 World Tour.
It's one of her most daring looks yet , but the sheer cutouts in the abdomen look a little misplaced.
16. The blue-and-yellow "Lover" bodysuit
The "Lover" bodysuit is always gorgeous, but there's something slightly off about the blue-and-yellow color combination. The tones are too muted to complement the show's opening visuals.
15. "The Man" blazer in silver
Swift typically slips on a silver blazer over her "Lover" bodysuit to perform "The Man" and "You Need to Calm Down." With the matching red-bottomed boots, it's a powerful combination.
14. "The Man" blazer in black
We love the silver blazer, but the black blazer is extremely hot.
13. "Folklore" in blue
The sheer, baby-blue cape sleeves are very pretty, but the color isn't the right fit for "Folklore," which is not a blue-sounding album in the slightest.
12. "Folklore" in purple
"Folklore" isn't a purple-sounding album either, but this dress does look like something a young widow might wear in a Jane Austen film adaptation, so it works.
11. "Folklore" in cream
Cream is a fitting color for "Folklore," an album that evokes earthy and neutral tones.
10. "Folklore" with lace
This is only slightly different from "Folklore" in cream, but the lace adds a new edge — romantic and old-timey, well-suited for the "pioneer woman in a forbidden love affair" that Swift imagined while she was writing these songs.
9. The blue "Speak Now" ballgown
Although blue is not the traditional "Speak Now" color, everything about this dress is truly stunning, from the floral details to the elegant train.
8. The original "Midnights" bodysuit
The navy bodysuit is an Eras Tour classic, dark and sparkling like midnight rain. It's an almost-perfect choice to close the show.
7. "Folklore" in green
Out of all the flowy "Folklore" gowns, green is the best fit for "Folklore." It makes Swift look like a woodland fairy.
6. The original "Fearless" dress
Swift's flapper-inspired dress is ideal for performing classics like "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story." The fringe is fun and youthful, just like the original "Fearless" era, but paired with knee-high boots, it's still chic and modern.
5. The only "Reputation" outfit
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The one-legged "Reputation" jumpsuit is bold and sexy with a hint of danger, just like the album itself .
4. The scalloped "Midnights" bodysuit
There is something especially ethereal about this version of the classic "Midnights" bodysuit. The blue has a slightly warmer, richer tone — a better match for Swift's ocean eyes and pinkish undertones than navy — and the scalloped detailing on the bodice is exquisite up close.
3. "The Man" blazer in pink
Swift looks like a Barbie come to life in this version of the blazer, which she debuted on stage in Argentina. It also gives her performance of "The Man" a flirty, feminine edge.
2. The "Lover" bodysuit in pink
Swift also debuted this pink version of her opening look in Argentina. The gorgeous combination of shades, from baby pink to strawberry and fuchsia, compliments the tone of songs like "Cruel Summer" and "Lover."
1. The original "Lover" bodysuit
This was the first outfit Swift wore when she arrived on the Eras Tour stage back in March, and to this day, it remains the best.
The blue, purple, and pink gems create the perfect color combo, especially suited for the warmth and whimsy of the "Lover" era.

Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz. last night, delivering a 44-song set that lasted more than three hours. Somehow, the only time Swift paused throughout the night was to make a quick outfit change, disappearing into thin air only to return in a brand-new (and often bejeweled) look.
Instead of journeying through her 10 albums chronologically, Swift opted to mix up her musical eras, starting with 2019’s “Lover” before transitioning into 2020’s “Evermore.” “Reputation” was up next, followed by a short stint in “Speak Now,” during which she only performed “Enchanted.” Songs from “Red,” “Folklore” and “1989” came after, and then Swift performed a short acoustic set consisting of “Mirrorball” and “Tim McGraw” from her first, self-titled album — a tradition she said she’ll change up for every show, without repeating a song. Swift ended the night with her most recent release, “Midnights,” bringing fans back to the present.
Each era was accompanied by jaw-dropping sets, stunning choreography and, of course, custom outfits to represent each specific moment in Swift’s life and career. See all of the looks from the first night of the Eras Tour below.
Swift opened the show with the “Lover” era, wearing a sparkly pink-and-blue bodysuit.
Lover — The Man
When it came time to sing “The Man,” Swift donned a sparkly blazer with matching boots.
Swift’s “Fearless” era was met with a flapper-like gold dress.
“Evermore” called for an orange corset dress with ruffles and gold embellishments.
When performing songs from “Reputation,” Swift wore an asymmetrical black body suit with red snake detailing.
Though the only song Swift performed from “Speak Now” was “Enchanted,” the glittery ball gown she floated out in was breathtaking.
Red — 22
Swift kicked off her “Red” era with “22,” for which she sported a bowler hat and a white t-shirt proclaiming she actually has “a lot going on at the moment.”
For the majority of the “Red” era set, Swift rocked this glittery red-and-black bodysuit.
Red — All Too Well (10 Minute Version)
When it was time to sing “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” Swift put on a red sparkly jacket that matched her acoustic guitar.
For “Folklore,” Swift wore a flowy purple dress that stood out against a mossy backdrop.
“1989” called for a fuchsia two-piece set with plenty of tassles.
Acoustic Set
Swift stayed in “1989’s” color palette for an acoustic performance of “Mirrorball” and “Tim McGraw,” donning a magenta dress with ruffled sleeves.
Midnights — Lavender Haze
The “Midnights” portion started with “Lavender Haze,” so it only made sense for Swift to wear a purple fur coat over a sparkly frock.
Swift’s outfit for the majority of her “Midnights” set was this navy blue bodysuit with sparkly fringe.
Midnights — Karma
The show ended with “Karma,” during which Swift added a ruffled rainbow jacket to her look.

Inside Taylor Swift's 'Eras' tour wardrobe – from designer sketches to outfit details
The star performs a three-hour set in a series of striking bodysuits and ball gowns
Taylor Swift is back and she means business. The singer's much-anticipated 'Eras' tour is well underway and, as you might expect, the impressive three-hour set features a string of high-octane, custom-made looks.
The show, which is currently travelling across America before heading off internationally, is split into different sections to represent each of Swift's albums, with bespoke outfits for every era.
"The tour represents a very important moment in Taylor's career, because she conceived and built it as a journey through the different moments, or as the title suggests, the musical eras defining her career," explained Alberta Ferretti, one of the designers behind one of Swift's many on-stage ensembles. "I'm honoured that she asked me to design dresses for this special occasion. I have always been fascinated by women who constantly question and challenge themselves and Taylor, with her work, has demonstrated to be a multifaceted artist, able to constantly transform and evolve."
Each look was carefully considered and designed to represent the feel of each album: a floaty lilac Alberta Ferretti gown and a ruffled orange Etro design for Folklore , for example, or a one-legged snake-motif Roberto Cavalli jumpsuit for Reputation. As the tour continues, it's also become clear that Swift intends to switch up the wardrobe from venue to venue, debuting new pieces as she goes.
Here, we chart some highlights from her impressive tour wardrobe, from designer sketches to up-close details:
Nicole + Felicia
Taylor Swift performed onstage in a beautiful lilac Nicole + Felicia ballgown, featuring a tiered tulle skirt that captured the light beautifully, thanks to its crystal-embellished finish.
Nicole + Felicia shared a glimpse into how the breathtaking dress was made in the brand's atelier, from the original sketch to the final product.
Jessica Jones
For her more acoustic songs, Taylor Swift chose a beautiful ruffled red dress by designer Jessica Jones. She wore the gown with some glittering Christian Louboutin boots, which seem to be a staple style in her Eras tour wardrobe.
Roberto Cavalli
Taylor Swift treated fans to the ultimate party look – an orange shimmering two-piece by Roberto Cavalli. Its beautiful design gave the illusion of crystal water droplets, which moved effortlessly as she performed onstage. She wore the outfit with her go-to sequin Christian Louboutin boots.
Alberta Ferretti
For the Florida leg of the tour, Taylor Swift wore a green chiffon gown with a deep neckline, flowing sleeves and embroidered leaf detailing, designed by Alberta Ferretti.
Swift performed on-stage in a beautiful Elie Saab couture gown that was covered in floral appliqué and shimmering beading.
The singer performed in a sequinned pinstripe blazer by Versace, featuring gold stripes and matching buttons.
Swift wore a sequinned Ashish t-shirt embroidered with her lyrics, with a Gladys Tamez Millinery hat. The text on her slogan tees has been changing at each stop of the tour.
The singer twirled across the Las Vegas stage in this delicate chiffon gown with voluminous sleeves. The lace detail and crystal embroideries caught the light beautifully as she moved.
Zuhair Murad
Swift has made embellished bodysuits central to her 'Eras' wardrobe. This purple beaded look by Zuhair Murad, complete with co-ordinating knee-high boots by Christian Louboutin, took more than 350 hours to create from 20,000 glittering crystals and pearls – and she even wore a matching beaded garter.
Zuhair Murad Couture
Taylor Swift kicked off her tour in Arizona wearing a custom-made Zuhair Murad Couture tulle ballgown – featuring beautiful beading, sequins, pearls and crystal embellishments all over the voluminous skirt and bodice. The impressive dress required 50 metres of tulle, while the elaborate design took more than 350 hours of handwork to create in the brand's atelier.
Oscar de la Renta
On opening night, Swift closed the show in a beautiful deep midnight-blue leotard (fittingly, to perform tracks from her most recent album, Midnights ) designed by Oscar de la Renta, which featured beaded fringing and thousands of crystals, paired with matching glittery boots.
Swift wore a gold-fringed Roberto Cavalli couture mini-dress, designed by creative director Fausto Puglisi, which she teamed with a pair of silver cowboy boots. The dress shimmered with embroidered metallic fringing that formed a zig-zag pattern, with a sweetheart neckline.
One of her most dramatic looks from opening night was this Roberto Cavalli one-legged jumpsuit. The design features a black sheer sleeve, glittering material and a three-dimensional embroidered snake motif winding from the bottom of her leg to the top of her neck. The ruby red snake contrasts with the black bezels of the design, which she matched with black ankle boots.

10 Taylor Swift Eras Tour Outfit Ideas Inspired by Every Iconic Album
Design by Leana Macaya
In This Article
It’s almost time to meet Taylor Swift at midnight (and all the other times of day she’s ever sung about), as the long-awaited Eras Tour kicks off in Arizona on March 17 before heading across the U.S. all spring and summer—then, presumably, the world. The artist is making her live music comeback stronger than a ‘90s trend , as she's dropped a whopping four new albums since her 2018 Reputation tour, in addition to two “Taylor’s Version” rereleases. While the Ticketmaster fiasco resulted in a literal Senate hearing, fans are now getting excited to hear the new songs for the first time live—and confused about what to wear to such an all-encompassing concert.
If you survived “The Great War” of ticket sales but are stumped about your Eras ensemble or itching to give that Capital One card another workout, you need to calm down and build an outfit around your favorite Taylor Swift album. Whether pastel music festival vibes are your Lover , an invisible string ties you to Folklore , or you just want to stay in Midnights ' lavender haze, we’ll help you mastermind the perfect look. See Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfits for every album ahead, so you can show fellow Swifties you’re still bejeweled when you walk into the concert.
Taylor Swift/Debut Album
If you’ve been a Swiftie since the beginning or want to show your soft spot for her country era, grab a pen and an old napkin and take note of the artist’s go-to teen staples: understated midi dresses, classic cowboy boots , and a neutral, bohemian color palette. Let your hair run wild and free, and you have the perfect recipe for singing along to “Picture to Burn.”

Brother Vellies
Swift’s sophomore album, Fearless , was a "Love Story" full of the hopes and fears we all feel when coming of age. It won the 2010 Grammy for Album of the Year and recently got another moment in the spotlight as the inaugural Taylor’s Version rerelease (raise your hand if you're hoping to hear “Mr. Perfectly Fine” live). If you belong with the era's sweet late-aughts style, go for a sequined mini dress, a rose necklace, and simple leather sandals.
Reformation
Don't Let Disco
There's a lot of buzz around Speak Now right now as many fans are convinced that Swift has it slated for the next rerelease, citing everything from the "Bejeweled" music video to recent awards show looks. If you're excited for the world to finally realize that "Dear John" walked so "All Too Well" could run so "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) [Taylor's Version] [From the Vault]" could fly, embody the album's complex fairytale energy with a Bordeaux-colored princess mini dress, a delicate tie blouse, and whimsical crystal earrings.

The Red era contained multitudes: Think Harry Styles, Karlie Kloss and the squad, and endless country-pop crossover hits that highlighted Swift's ability to transcend genres. In its Taylor's Version renaissance, vault tracks like the "All Too Well" 10-minute version and the "Nothing New" collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers dominated, yet the album's signature color scheme and vintage-meets-modern vibes have remained as relevant as ever. Pair a pop of red—we love the idea of some statement pants—with a white T-shirt , Ray-Bans, and your favorite red lipstick for a moment that will have you dancing like you're 22.

1989 was a new beginning for Taylor Swift in multiple ways: It was her first pop album, she had an iconic new bob hairstyle , and she'd just moved to New York City. As she marked her rebirth with songs like "Wildest Dreams" and "Style," the star rocked an energized, instantly iconic wardrobe of crop tops, matching sets, and statement accessories. If you're in a style rut, shake it off with a crop-top-and-skirt combo plus some colorful heels, all of which can work for countless going-out looks long after your Eras Tour concert has come and gone.
Abercrombie & Fitch
Kendall Miles
When rumors about her hit a boiling point, Swift didn't back down. Instead, she released Reputation , an album that simultaneously leaned into her so-called "snake" side and shared the sweet vulnerability of falling in love. If you're in your Rep Era, you can't go wrong with leather on leather, especially if you top it off with some serpentine jewelry.
Chelsea Paris
The Lover era, which featured bubblegum bops like "Cruel Summer" and "It's Nice to Have a Friend" (the latter was recently part of the M3GAN trailer), was a time for pastel music festival vibes and euphoric romanticism. If you spent 2020 preparing for the Lover Fest that never happened, now is finally your chance to shine: Pair a candy-colored crop top and shorts for a danceable yet fun look, then finish it off with a fun hair look like temporary streaks or rainbow tinsel.
When Swift surprise-dropped Folklore during the 2020 lockdown, it marked the start of a stripped-back indie era that attracted a whole new fanbase in the process. If dark academia has captured your heart or you stream "Cardigan" and "Betty" on repeat, emphasize how smart and mysterious you are by bringing a book to the concert (spoiler alert: It's actually a purse). Paired with a ruffled, high neck blouse and patchwork shorts, you have a dreamy Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfit that pays tribute to storytelling and simpler times.

Well Read Company
Evermore is Folklore 's sister record, wandering deeper into Swift's storytelling interest to explore themes of pain, healing, and revenge. If you fell in love with this under-appreciated era, channel the cozy yet cathartic vibes with a flannel dress, leather sneakers, and earrings that will make you feel like part of the "No Body, No Crime" universe.
Want Les Essentiels
Pamela Love
If Midnights are your favorite time these days, we totally relate. Swift's latest album explores the range of things we think about when much of the world is asleep—from the introspection of "Anti-Hero" to the major confidence rush of "Karma"—and the cosmic-meets-'70s aesthetic is exactly what we needed. Meet Taylor at midnight in a lounge suit paired with bejeweled celestial earrings and platform sandals that help you stay in that lavender haze.

Every Outfit From Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Ranked
As Swifties know all too well, the Eras Tour is the biggest Taylor Swift event in history. It's been almost five years since the star last hit the road with her Reputation Tour and since then, she has released four new studio albums. In the Eras Tour, Swift travels through each of her albums to date — it is, as Swift wrote on Instagram : "A journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!)."
The Eras Tour, which kicked off in Arizona on March 17, 2023, and runs until August, has left fans eagerly devouring every fan video of Swift on stage they can find. So far, the tour has completely exceeded our expectations, with a setlist of over 40 songs, spectacular production design, and era-specific looks that go beyond all of our wildest dreams.
Fans have been desperate to find out what Swift's style would look like on the Eras Tour — and so far, her dozens of outfit changes do not disappoint. Swift has managed to capture each of her distinct eras while keeping a cohesive "Midnights"-inspired look (think sequins everywhere) throughout the show. From "bejeweled" bodysuits to gorgeous sparkly ballgowns to a delicate floaty maxi dress, Swift has left her fans completely enchanted. Long story short, Swift has more than delivered on the fashion in her latest tour — and we are going to be haunted by these looks forever and always. Ready for it? Here is every look on the Eras Tour, ranked from worst to best.
Fearless: a gold and silver fringed dress
Let's be clear — there are no bad looks on the Eras Tour. But, if we had to pick one outfit that was a little underwhelming, we would have to go with this custom Roberto Cavalli dress that Taylor Swift wore on the second night of her tour in Glendale, Arizona. Swift wore this brown sparkly midi dress during her "Fearless" set and while the fringe and the color certainly capture the essence of the era, we much preferred her cowgirl-esque mini fringe dress from the opening night.
Lover: the sequined blazer for The Man
Taylor Swift's song "The Man" is all about questioning gender stereotypes and challenging sexist power discrepancies. Just like in her music video for the song, Swift opted for a Versace blazer while performing the hit women's empowerment anthem during her "Lover" set on the opening night of her tour. She paired the silver sparkly suit jacket with a pair of dramatic red-soled custom Christian Louboutins. Swift looks undeniably fierce, but this isn't quite a look that blew us away.
Lover: a black pinstripe blazer for The Man
On Taylor Swift's second night in Glendale, Arizona, she swapped out her silver blazer by Versace for a black and white pinstripe blazer. Much like her silver blazer from the previous night, this black blazer is all about playing with gender roles — it's the perfect ensemble for this song. Plus, the pinstripe detail on this blazer is definitely giving corporate boardroom. But of course, Swift didn't skimp on the sparkle — like most of her looks, this blazer is covered in sequins.
Red: a red and black sparkly bodysuit
Taylor Swift wore a number of gorgeous sequined bodysuits during her three-hour-long performance. During the "Red" segment , she donned this gorgeous red and black ombre sequined number. This bodysuit has a retro vibe with its square neckline and brief-style hemline. As Cosmopolitan noted, this look might have been a subtle nod to her famous ringleader outfit, which she wore at the 2012 MTV EMAs while performing songs from "Red." We love this chic, understated body suit, but again, it's not quite at the top of our list.
Red: the iconic t-shirt and hat
The Eras Tour is a nostalgic ride back through Taylor Swift lore and this outfit is a total blast from the past. The singer famously wore a white t-shirt that read: "Not a lot going on at the moment" paired with a black hat and black shorts in her "22" music video during her "Red" era. On the opening night of the Eras Tour, she recreated the look almost exactly — although this time, the shirt read: "A lot going on at the moment" with the word "lot" in read. On the second night, she switched things up with a shirt that featured: "Who's Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew." Some fans have even speculated that the red letters on her two shirts are part of a word puzzle for fans.
Midnights: a sparkly blue mini dress
On the second night of the tour in Arizona, Taylor Swift donned a bright blue sparkly mini dress for the song "Anti-Hero" as part of her "Midnights" set. While, the fun, eye-catching dress emulated Swift's sparkly "Midnights" era style, the boxy style of this dress isn't our favorite look of the tour so far, especially in comparison to Swift's more fierce fitted bodysuits that dominate the rest of the tour.
Lover: the gold sparkly bodysuit
Taylor Swift opens the Eras Tour with a set of songs from her 2019 album "Lover." On the first night, she wore a silver and purple sequined bodysuit, but on the second night, she wore a matching bodysuit with gold details. Both bodysuits were designed by Versace. We absolutely love this look. Swift looks like a walking mirrorball — and what could be more perfect to open her Eras Tour?
Evermore: a golden maxi dress
During Taylor Swift's "Evermore" set, the singer wore a gorgeous golden maxi prairie custom-made dress by designer Etro. With a ruffled corset bodice and floral embroidery, this stunning dress was perfect for this low-fi, woodsy era. On the first night, Swift went viral in this beautiful dress for acknowledging a fan theory about the album. "The 'Evermore' album [is] an album I absolutely love... despite what some of you say on TikTok," the singer said (via the Independent ).
Acoustic set: a pink maxi dress
Each night, Taylor Swift performs an acoustic set, which features two surprise songs. On the first night, she sang "Mirrorball" and "Tim McGraw" and on night two, she sang "This Is Me Trying" and "State of Grace." On the first night, Swift wore a deep berry-colored tiered maxi dress with ruffled detailing by Jessica Jones. This gorgeous floaty dress is fit for a princess and gives a subtle nod to Swift's debut album — which only gets some brief representation during this set.
Red: a sparkly blazer for All Too Well
Taylor Swift released a record-breaking epic ten-minute version of one of her most beloved songs "All Too Well" on "Red (Taylor's Version)." The emotional roller coaster of a song quickly became a fan favorite, so naturally, it earned a spot on the Eras Tour. For this autumnal, reflective number, Swift wore a maxi red and black sequined coat over her matching bodysuit. The coat is designed by Ashish Gupta, a designer who has worked with Swift for years.
Lover: the silver sparkly bodysuit
The very first outfit to appear in the Eras Tour was this gorgeous Versace silver and purple bodysuit. This spectacular look is the perfect "Midnights" and "Lover" mashup with its excessive sparkle and its pastel purples and blues. We love the corset-style ribbing and the nod to Swift's "Bejeweled" music video bodysuit. As Donatella Versace wrote on Instagram , this look is nothing short of "breathtaking."
Fearless: the fringed mini dress
Taylor Swift kicked off her "Fearless" era set on night one with this stunning gold fringed mini dress by Roberto Cavalli. This dress is giving a 1920s flapper vibe — and paired with those knee-high sparkly cowboy boots, it's the perfect homage to her fashion from the "Fearless" days when she was all about the tassels and fringes. The dress is a direct reference to a dress from the original Fearless Tour. As Cavalli designer Fausto Puglisi told Vogue of the dress: "We chose a beautiful champagne colour, which is very Taylor."
Speak Now: a dramatic ball gown
Taylor Swift only sings one song from "Speak Now" during her Eras Tour set — "Enchanted" — but during that one song, she certainly pulls out all of the stops with her fashion. This gorgeous hoop skirt ballgown is like something out of a fairytale, which is perfect for the "Speak Now" era. Designed by Nicole + Felicia Coture, this pale pink gown is covered in sparkles and sequins. As Elle notes, it's probably a direct nod to a dress from the original Speak Now Tour, for her songs "Ours," "Fifteen," and "Love Story."
1989: the Roberto Cavalli set in green
This sparkly geometric look by Roberto Cavalli is one of our favorites on the tour. On the first night, Taylor Swift wore this set in bright pink — on the second night, she opted for a lime green version of the outfit along with a pair of matching green ankle boots. The outfit was designed as a tribute to Swift's "1989" era when the singer famously wore plenty of crop top mini skirt two pieces.
Speak Now: a fairytale pink ball gown
While Taylor Swift's first Nicole + Felicia Coture ballgown for the "Speak Now" era was stunning, on the second night, she wore this pink showstopper. Designed by Zuhair Murad, this breathtaking gown featured a starburst sequin design around the fitted waist and a cross-strap back, per the designer's Instagram . According to Harper's Bazaar , the dress took over 350 hours to make and features a staggering 50 meters of tulle.
1989: a Roberto Cavalli pink sequined set
And now for the stunning magenta Roberto Cavalli set. Taylor Swift wore this incredible ensemble during her "1989" set on night one of the tour. This gorgeous two-piece is one of the most eye-catching outfits on the tour. Its sharp geometric pattern, bright Swarovski crystals, and fringe detailing make it utterly unforgettable. As Roberto Cavalli's official Instagram put it, this outfit made Swift "shine on stage like the living musical legend she is."
Midnights: a sequined mini dress and a furry purple coat
In Taylor Swift's "Midnights" segment of the Eras Tour, she brings all of the dark glitter and '70s glamor of the album to her fashion. In this gorgeous ensemble, which the singer wore for "Lavender Haze," Swift paired a sequin-covered t-shirt-style mini dress with a fluffy purple faux fur coat with delicate crystal embroidery, both by Oscar de la Renta. The coat is a direct nod to the very similar purple coat by Free People that Swift wore in the music video for the same song.
Folklore: a flowy white caped dress
On the second night of the tour, Taylor Swift wore this ethereal white maxi gown during her "Folklore" set. Designed by Alberta Ferretti, the tiered gown offers the perfect amount of floaty elegance for the singer's famous understated sound on "Folklore." As Alberta Ferretti's Instagram noted the dress is "a custom tiered cream gown with voluminous sleeves and delicate crystal and micro-beading embroideries."
Midnights: a black fringed mini dress
Taylor Swift continued her "Midnights" set dressed as "Midnight Rain" personified with this unbelievably gorgeous midnight blue body suit by Oscar de la Renta, covered in sequins and a sparkly fringe paired with knee-high Louboutin boots — perfect for "Vigilante S***" and "Bejeweled." Oscar de la Renta's Instagram wrote that Swift "wears a custom Oscar de la Renta midnight sequin and crystal embroidered bodysuit with draped fringe necklaces." There's no doubt about it — this has to be one of our favorite looks from the show.
Midnights: a sparkly fringed coat
As if the Oscar de la Renta bodysuit wasn't enough, Taylor Swift added a truly incredible fringed coat with a multi-color sparkle effect for her final song, "Karma." This unusual coat is absolutely breathtaking and is up there with our favorite Taylor Swift looks of all time.
Folklore: the pleated purple maxi dress
This exquisite lavender-colored maxi dress by Alberta Ferretti is one of the Eras looks that will stick with us for years to come. The "Folklore" era gown from the first night of the tour turned Taylor Swift into a mystical, woodsy princess. The designer's Instagram described the elegant dress as "a custom, chiffon crystal embellished mauve gown with flutter sleeves, plunging neckline and lace inserts." What could be more perfect for Swift's magical, floaty "Folklore" set?
Reputation: the one-legged snake bodysuit
This is one Taylor Swift look that is sure to go down in history. For her "Reputation" set, the singer wore this bold one-legged, one-armed body suit by Roberto Cavalli embroidered with sparkly red snakes in reference to her famous imagery from the revenge-fueled album. As Fausto Puglisi told Vogue : "It's more of a badass, rock and roll look." And as the designer's Instagram put it, this look gave us "a moment of pure magic."
All About Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Setlist and Outfit Changes
Taylor Swift kicked off her hotly anticipated “Eras Tour” on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, revealing her set list and outfit changes to the packed stadium for the first time. It's been five years since Swift's last tour, and in that time she's released four more albums, so there was a lot to cover.
“I can't even go into how much I've missed you,” Swift told 80,000 fans from the stage.
She added, “I don't know how to process all of this and how it's making me feel right now... let me start by saying you're making me feel fantastic.”
Later, Swift stopped to say to the audience, “I'm trying to tell you I love you and I'm babbling.”
Her set was reportedly split into sections for each of her 10 albums, though they were not in perfect chronological order. She began with tracks from her 2019 album Lover , singing “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” followed by “Cruel Summer.”
The pop star had 16 backup dancers, two stages, and costume changes throughout the night. For her Midnights hit “Lavender Haze,” she rose on a platform in the middle of the stadium.
Later, she performed “Look What Made You Do” over a an array of versions of herself projected on screens behind her.
On the stage were some constructions, like a tiny hut covered in moss for songs from her album Folklore. She wore a custom Alberta Ferretti dress during that Folklore portion:
She also did a chair routine later in the performance, and devoted special time to her full 10-minute version of “All Too Well.”
For her big hit rumored to be about ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, Swift wore a red overcoat while fake snow fell around her as she sang.
And don't forget this silver suit look by Versace:
Below is her set list as it stands, but it's possible that Swift will expand her section devoted to the album Speak Now , as she is expected to re-lease the (Taylor's Version) of the album this year.
- Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince
- Cruel Summer
- You Need To Calm Down
- You Belong With Me
- 'Tis The Damn Season
- Champagne Problems
- Tolerate It

I Went to Opening Weekend of the Eras Tour — Here's What to Wear to Taylor Swift's Concert
Pick your era and run with it

Folklore and Evermore
On March 18, I buzzed with excitement in a crowd of nearly 70,000 fans eagerly counting down the seconds (literally — a giant clock ticked on screen) until Taylor Swift walked onstage for her second show of the wildly-anticipated Eras Tour . Three hours and 13 minutes later, I was basking in the blissful aftermath of an epic 44-song setlist from the music icon.
But before that, I thought long and hard about what to wear to a Taylor Swift concert I'd been daydreaming about for years. With four new albums and two re-recordings released since her last tour, the options were endless. Should I dress for her latest era, the glimmering, moody Midnights , wander back into the whimsical woods in honor of Folklore and Evermore , embrace the bubblegum pink wonderland of Lover , or pay tribute to Red (Taylor's Version) in loafers and, well, red?
The countless Taylor Swift concert outfit ideas might seem overwhelming, but after attending the first stop on the Eras Tour, I can tell you this: You'll see a little bit of everything (and a lot of sparkles.) Some Swifties threw it back to Fearless in cowboy boots , others wore heart-covered tulle dresses, and one dedicated fan even covered herself head-to-toe in ivy in honor of the Evermore track.
Below, channel whichever era you feel most passionate about with these 141 Taylor Swift concert outfit ideas. Pick your poison, era-style. And don't forget to nab a stadium-approved clear bag for as little as $17.
Swift's latest album, Midnights, evokes a '70s haze, if you will, with purple eyeshadow, tousled hair, and shag coats. For the final portion of her Eras Tour setlist, the "Anti-Hero" singer wore two outfits: a sparkly T-shirt dress topped with a lavender fur jacket that was dripping in crystals and a bejeweled dark purple fringe leotard, both worn with knee-high Christian Louboutin rhinestone boots.
While you might not go that extra (or designer), the color palette is an easy place to start. I opted for these lavender metallic wide-leg trousers and this sparkly ruched cowl neck tank top , both under $25 at Cider. Slip into the lavender haze with purple pants, disco-ball-esque tops, and furry jackets like this one that starts at $32 at Amazon, and stock up on friendship bracelets (à la "You're on Your Own, Kid") with a custom bracelet-making kit . You could also recreate Swift's glamorous birthday look that she wore in New York City with a sparkly little black dress .

Folklore and Evermore , released just four months apart in 2020, took us deep into the trees where moss grew on pianos and braided buns were a must. While Swift sang songs like "Marjorie" and "Champagne Problems" during the Eras Tour, she donned a dreamy mustard maxi dress with a tiered skirt, ruffled shoulders, and gold accents. For slow burns like "Cardigan" and "Invisible String," the 12-time Grammy winner laid on the roof of a cabin and twirled around in a billowy cream maxi .
To embrace the cottagecore vibes of Folklore and Evermore at the concert, simply wear the flowiest, breeziest dress that makes you want to spin in circles to "August," like this Evermore era lookalike that's on sale for $42 and this $40 corset dress with eyelet details.

With pop anthems like "Cruel Summer" and the album's titular swoony ballad, Lover is the Taylor Swift album fans have been waiting to hear live since 2019. This lovestruck era was all about pink, pastel tie-dye, and fringe jackets. During the second night of the Eras Tour, Swift made a splash in her opening outfit, a custom Atelier Versace bodysuit covered in blue and gold rhinestones and silver knee-high boots by Christian Louboutin. She coyly layered a matching rhinestone Versace blazer on top for her cheeky performance of "The Man."
If Lover is your era of choice, anything pink and pastel will do. Try this open-back mini dress or this pastel pink rhinestone denim jacket on for size. Or, copy Swift's stadium style with a blazer dress that makes you feel like the man.

Before there was the starry-eyed Taylor seeing life through rose-colored glasses, we had the all-black-clad, hooded, narrow-eyed snake, aka Reputation -era Taylor . Swift only wore one outfit to represent this edgy era during her concert, and it spoke for itself. The showstopping one-legged Roberto Cavalli catsuit featured red snakes slithering down her body and black sequins that resembled scales.
You can't go wrong wearing black to represent the Reputation era, and throw some snakeskin prints in for an extra oomph.

With 1989 , Taylor ditched her country roots and dove headfirst into pop music — and her "red-lipped, classic" style reflected that shift. Two-piece sets were Swift's jam during her New York City '80s synth-pop era, and she brought them back with a Kelly green beaded skirt and crop top when she performed fan-favorites like "Blank Space" and "Wildest Dreams" on the second night of the Eras Tour.
If 1989 is your crown jewel in Swift's discography, wear a two-piece set in any color, throw on a sequin bomber jacket à la the 1989 World Tour, or recreate one of the looks from the "Shake It Off" music video like the person next to me in Glendale, Arizona did. The full ballerina tutu was seriously impressive.

Back in 2012, the Taylor Swift who brought us classics like "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "22" loved oxfords, stripes, hats, and all things red. This might be the easiest era to recreate. Simply wear black shorts, leather loafers, a black fedora, or opt for a fun graphic T-shirt like this $15 one that reads “loving him was red,” which is a subtle nod to Swift’s football player beau, Travis Kelce. It might be trickier to find the floor-length red sequin coat she layered on top for her 10-minute performance of "All Too Well."

Swift only sang one song from her 2010 album Speak Now at the Eras Tour, but it left me wonderstruck nonetheless. Taylor looked like a real-life princess in a Zuhair Murad ball gown fitting for a castle while she sang "Enchanted." Your row neighbors probably wouldn't love having a giant skirt like that bumping into them throughout the show, so something simpler might be a good idea.
Swift's Speak Now era involved a lot of romantic purple sundresses, side braids, and the number 13 painted on the back of her hand. Channel this innocent time with fairytale-like dresses you'll actually wear all summer long.

Back on her first headlining tour, curly-haired, head-banging Taylor wore countless sequin fringe mini dresses — and she wore two similar but elevated versions 13 years later for the Eras Tour. As she strummed her bedazzled guitar and sang hits like "You Belong With Me" and "Love Story," Swift wore a Roberto Cavalli dress that featured an ombre gold and silver sequin fringe. This $80 dress is super similar.
If you're looking for comfy footwear to dance the night away during this three-hour show, consider cowboy boots. Not only are they classic teenage Taylor, but they've been making a comeback in recent years with celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski , too. Add this pointed-toe pair to your shoe rack and wear it way more places than just the Eras tour.

Taylor's self-titled first album in 2006 was impossibly romantic, a celebration of all things country. It goes to follow that her style at that time was, too. Boho dresses, sparkly eyeshadow, tightly curled ringlets of blonde hair, and other cowboy-inspired accessories like chunky cowboy boots were the order of the day. Swift often opted for bright yellows, flowery prints, and relied on the innocence of youth as well as the iconography of her with a guitar when she put out her debut album in high school. Think youthful innocence, flowers, sparkle, and sundresses and you'll be on the right path here.

When Swift released her second album Fearless in 2008, her looks didn't shift from her high school fashion significantly, but she did begin to opt for a little more glitz, glam, and sequins. She decided to mix in a few more metallic shades, like gold and silver, with plenty of mini dresses and the same boots and loose curls from her younger days. Alternatively, class things up with some strappy heels to make for a look that Swift would have worn on the red carpet.

Swift made her foray into dreamier, more storybook-styled elements with Speak Now in 2010. Though she sometimes still paid homage to her country roots, she continued to sprinkle in more experimental outfit choices, throwing in ballroom dresses, plenty of airy fabrics, and theatrical outfits. Purple, of course, was a major theme that carried through this era, so anything purple and romantic (and sparkly) would be an automatic great fit.

Taylor veered off into some very new territory with 2012's Red , effortlessly blending country and pop. Of course, it makes sense to choose something red for this era, but there are also plenty of other aesthetic notes to consider: vintage styling, red lips, straight hair with bangs, high-waisted shorts, T-shirts, hats, heart-shaped sunglasses, and other breezy attire are aspects you can't go wrong with.

Swift finally completed her full metamorphosis into a pop superstar with 1989 in 2014, and her style transformed as well. During this era, the singer debuted her choppy bob, casual crop tops, flowing skirts, funky accessories, and an air of nonchalance that felt like youth coming alive. It's easy to get the 1989 look — and you probably already have some of its staples in your closet. And, of course, you can never go wrong with the "Not a Lot Going on at the Moment" shirt, as seen in Taylor's "22" video.

In 2017, following her year out of the public eye, Swift re-emerged with Reputation . With it, came an album of dark dance-pop and another new aesthetic. This time, she rocked black bodysuits, dark lipsticks, snake motifs, and hoods. She also wore a variety of hairstyles, from slicked-back lengthy locks to bangs and updos. Her touring outfits became a lot more dramatic as well.

With 2019's Lover , Swift entered a bright, colorful era with plenty of hearts, rainbows, glitter, and sunshiny fashion. Her music reflected these feelings as well, focusing on staying positive, being in love, and enjoying life. Think bright colors, eye-catching designs, flowing hair, and unique prints.
Folklore and Evermore

Swift released both Folklore and Evermore in 2020, debuting a marked shift to a cottage-core style that reflected what many of us were wearing during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She wore plenty of flowery prints, boho chic, frills and midi dresses, and we ate every bit of it up. Both albums featured the same types of wardrobe, given that they shared similar musical styles.

Swift released Midnights in late 2022, and we're still technically at the beginning of this era. But it's proving to be one of the more popular looks to wear to the Eras Tour since it's still fresh in everyone's minds. It seems to be a mixture of several of Swift's previous aesthetic choices, with '70s-inspired attire, sequins, bedazzled looks, and more. It's dreamy, sexy, and a little romantic, perfect for meeting someone at midnight.

A year of the Eras Tour: A look back at Taylor Swift's record-breaking show
One year ago, the crowd in Glendale, Arizona, erupted into a massive cheer in State Farm Stadium when Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" began playing and the backdrop screen transitioned to a countdown clock starting at 2:24.
None of the Swifties who traveled from all over the state of Arizona and the nation, dressed to the nines as one of her 10 eras, knew the tour would be three-plus hours. The fan screaming next to me from Pennsylvania who bought a ticket on StubHub.com for about $400 didn't know that we would go era-by-era through a 44-song track list. I don't think the singer, herself, knew when she hid inside a cleaning cart wheeled backstage, that her show would lead to a billion-dollar enterprise, Time magazine person of the year and an inundation of friendship bracelets. I didn't know the behemoth success following the Eras Tour star would send me packing from Phoenix to Nashville, Tennessee, to become the inaugural Taylor Swift reporter.
Swift's dancers flowed onto the stage through fog with pink, purple and orange parachute flaps. A compilation of songs from Swift's 10 albums — or eras — played as "it's been a long time coming" boomed into the stadium. Goosebumps covered the arms of thousands and tears cascaded down cheeks as the flaps revealed Miss Americana rising to begin her "Lover" set.
Eighty three shows later, here's a look back at the unprecedented tour that set a Guinness World Record . And fair warning, like her tour this article is an extensive rollercoaster.
Swept up in the hype, the world became Taylor Nation. Glendale, "Erazona ," was renamed "Swift City." Las Vegas lit up its arches in all 10 era colors. Arlington, Texas, dubbed one of its streets "Taylor Swift Way." Tampa, Florida, gave Swift a key to the city and invited her to be an honorary mayor. Houston renamed its venue "NRG Stadium (Taylor’s Version)."
Nashville, Tennessee, dedicated a bench in Centennial Park to the hometown singer. A Philadelphia radio station, 96.5 FM (WTDY), renamed itself Ninety-Swift-Five W-T-A-Y. Gov. Philip D. Murphy dubbed the "Taylor Swift ham, egg and cheese sandwich" the "state sandwich of New Jersey." Chicago lit up the top of Willis Tower in her album colors. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey renamed his city "Swiftie-apolis," and Santa Clara, California, Mayor Lisa Gillmor switched the city's name to "Swiftie Clara."
Internationally, fans in Brazil caught the attention of Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes and Father Omar, the rector of the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary, who arranged to project a "Junior Jewels" inspired T-shirt onto the Christ the Redeemer statue. Flinders Station in Melbourne , Australia, flashed a wallpaper glaze of lights to welcome the Eras star. Singapore painted the Marina Bay Sands Resort all colors of vibrant lights.
It's a cruel summer with you
All four seasons met the fifteen dancers, four backup singers, six bandmates and hundreds of production and crew members, adding unpredictable weather to the mix. Mother Nature danced in a lightning storm to "Fearless" in Tampa and made the song "Midnight Rain" a reality in Nashville . Rain poured through the open-roofed stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where Swift pushed puddles forming on her piano . The Swiftie fandom created its own natural phenomenon in Seattle after a seismologist registered a 2.3 magnitude earthquake on her Richter scale.
The intense heat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, caused Swift to throw water bottles to fans and temporarily halt her show. Ana Clara Benevides Machado, 23, passed out and died of heat exhaustion. The heartbreaking news prompted changes at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos to allow fans access to water. Swift invited Benevides' family to her concert in São Paulo.
I want you to think of the memories made
Swift incorporated custom messages into each tour stop. At her international destinations, she welcomed fans in their custom languages. "Bienvenidos al Eras Tour," she said in Mexico City before hoisting her hands in the air. While donning either her pink or blue guitar before the title track of "Lover," she commonly announced the stadium attendance often record-breaking.
Outside of stadiums, thousands "Taylorgated," or showed up without a ticket to hear Swift's beats and dance on the concrete. Tens of thousands more logged on to watch livestreams from fans with tickets who agreed to spend concert time holding up their mobile devices in a tricep-burning position.
The number of viewers would jump before the "Champagne Problems" speech and acoustic set. To keep things fun and interesting each night, fans filled out "Swiftball" ballots guessing the singer's outfits from four "Lover" bodysuits and accompanying "The Man" jackets, three "Fearless" dresses, two "Evermore" dresses, six "Speak Now" gowns, three bedazzled "22" shirts, five "Folkore" dresses, four "1989" crop top and skirt combos, six "Midnights" T-shirt dresses, three "Midnight Rain" body suits and four "Karma" faux fur jackets. To see how many times the Eras star wore each outfit, check out the "Data Swiftie."
For fans who wanted to get alerts to watch the shows without having to calculate time changes, Swift Alert became the app for that .
Double clap, audience chants
A secret language formed between fans and Swift as new traditions popped up along the tour. The four lines fans screamed at the top of their lungs, no matter the city or country, were "cause shade never made anybody less gay" in "You Need To Calm Down," "what a shame she's f----d in the head" in "Champagne Problems," "f--- the patriarchy" in "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" and "don't call me kid, don't call me baby" in "Illicit Affairs."
Swift started every show strong with a very important question: Did her fans know the bridge to "Cruel Summer?" "Prove it!" she'd yell at some stops and the audience would, every single time, bellow, "I'm drunk in the back of the car." For "The Archer," fans printed and dispersed signs that read, "We will stay," to hold up when Swift asks, "Who would stay?"
In the "Fearless" era, fans double clapped with "13" drawn on the back of their hands in the middle of the bridge to "You Belong With Me." A trend of marriage proposals during "Love Story" picked up during the 2024 leg with partners popping the question as Swift sang, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring."
During "Marjorie," Swifties turned their phone flashlights on in tribute to Swift's grandma. Fans started timing the standing ovation and ear-shattering applause after "Champagne Problems." Livestreamers, like Tess Bohne , would display a clock and fans guessed if the cheers would surpass one, two or three minutes.
A snake shape slithered through the light-up braceklets handed out before the show at the start of the "Reputation" era. Fans yelled "1, 2, 3, let's go b----" before the first verse of "Delicate" as Swift counts on her fingers. Later in the song, Swift sings, "Do the girls back home touch you like I do?" and fans reply, "No, they don't." On rare occasion, Swift would let out a three-note riff during her "Don't Blame Me" belt.
After rereleasing her third album, the "Speak Now" singer added "Long Live" to the set list, bringing the total to 45 tracks. In the first verse when she croons "the crowds and stands went wild," the crowd indeed went wild.
In the "Red" era, Swift crowned a deserving fan with a black fedora during "22." They were typically children, but one adult Swiftie was crowned in Melbourne . Dancer Kameron Saunders had the only speaking line on the tour besides Swift during her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." He said "like ever" at the American shows, but when the tour went international, he switched up the phrase each night. And yes, we track that. Swift knew all too well each crowd had "10 minutes to spare," and she played her longest song, in total, for about 14 hours.
She was only tied to the "Invisible String" for five shows and traded the opening "Folklore" era number to "The 1" in Arlington, before news of her split from actor Joe Alwyn . She brought "Invisible String" back for one night in Nashville because the Tennessee capital is home to Centennial Park. Nashvillians also noticed that Swift switched a note during "The 1" lyric "you meet a woman on the internet and take her home." She kept the key change for every succeeding show.
Right before the first lyric of "Style" during the "1989" set, fans began a tradition of saying, "What time is it?" to which the singer replied, "Midnight, you come and pick me up." In Sydney, Australia, a "Blank Space" chant from the 1989 World Tour was reborn and repeated in Singapore. Taylor Nation, Swift's marketing team, tweeted that it hopes fans at every tour stop going forward shout their city. In Philadelphia, a "Bad Blood" remix originated when Swift noticed a security guard hassling a fan . "She's fine. She wasn't doing anything. Hey! Stop! Hey, stop!" became the cool thing to say after, "It's so sad to think about the good times, you and I." Fans also incorporated a Kendrick Lamar line from the "Bad Blood" remix: "You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go."
And then came the surprise set . (More on her collaborators and announcements below.) Each night, Swift performed one song on the guitar and one on the piano that she hadn't yet performed on the tour. That is until 2024, when she added mashups and threw out her rule of never repeating songs. At the end of the set, she swan dives into a hole in the stage. Fans later caught a red light that turned green to signal it was safe to jump.
After meeting her at "Midnights," fans sang Jack Antonoff's version of "Anti-Hero." When Swift sings "tale as old as time," the crowd chimes in, "Taylor, you'll be fine." Tyler Conroy made a viral video of him screaming , "Where you going Taylor?" during "Bejeweled" before she sings, "I'm going out tonight," and the trend caught on like a blaze ripping through the Lover house. Finally, after Swift changed the lyrics to, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs," in Argentina with her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the crowd, that became the standard for fans. She has only sang it that way four times, when he was in attendance in Buenos Aires, Sydney and Singapore.
If you would direct your attention to the back screen
In addition to boosting economies everywhere she went, Swift created an abundance of news. She announced "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" in Nashville. She announced a new version of "Midnights" and premiered the "Karma (Remix)" music video featuring Ice Spice as the upstart rapper joined Swift in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She released "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" right before her Kansas City, Missouri, stop and then debuted the "I Can See You" music video starring Taylor Lautner and Joey King who were at the show. Lautner backflipped on the catwalk.
It might have seemed strange that Swift ended the American leg of her tour on a Wednesday in Los Angeles, but not to the eagle-eyed Swiftie who realized the date was 8/9. That's the day she announced the rerecording of her fifth album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)." The album came out during her break before her Argentina tour dates. It topped the Billboard charts and allowed her to bypass Elvis for the most weeks with an album at No. 1.
Then, she announced her 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," at the Grammys after winning her 13th career award. At her tour stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, she revealed there were four total versions of "Tortured Poets" and told fans they would get a different bonus track on each one : "The Manuscript," "The Bolter," "The Albatross" and "The Black Dog."
Welcome to the acoustic set
One of the most anticipated portions of an Eras Tour show is the acoustic set. At most of the concerts, she only spoke before the guitar song. In rare instances, she tested the microphone before the piano song and made an announcement.
Occasionally she invited collaborators to join her onstage. Marcus Mumford surprised fans in Las Vegas to play "Cowboy Like Me." Her co-producer and close friend Aaron Dessner from The National joined her six times on stage, in Tampa (twice), Nashville, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Santa Clara. Jack Antonoff came out to play "Getaway Car" in New Jersey. Maren Morris did a "You All Over Me" duet in Chicago. When their opening acts were canceled for weather, Gracie Abrams performed "I Miss You, I'm Sorry" and Sabrina Carpenter sang a dyad mashup of "White Horse" and "Coney Island."
Some of the surprise songs came with hidden messages. Fans speculated she sang "Bigger Than The Whole Sky" as an ode to a fan who died , "End Game" to Travis Kelce watching her show from the VIP tent and "Gold Rush" as a congratulations to Jason Kelce for retiring. She has performed "You're On Your Own Kid" five times, in Tampa, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Tokyo and Singapore.
And he never thinks of me, except when I'm on TV
To close out the first year of the Eras Tour, Swift released the third film version of her concert to streaming service Disney+. This version included "Cardigan" and four acoustic songs: "Maroon," "Death By A Thousand Cuts," "You Are In Love" and "I Can See You."
The second version came out on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13. Fans could rent it for 48 hours at a price of $19.89, and it included "The Archer," "Wildest Dreams" and "Long Live" cut from the original movie.
The original movie was released Oct. 13, in the middle of the Hollywood strikes. Swift did what studios and streaming services were unable to: make a deal with SAG-AFTRA. She worked with the unions and was able to market and show her movie how she saw fit. The film made more than $250 million globally and got her nominated for a Golden Globe award .
Would you be interested in one more song?
If you're still with me on this walk down Eras Tour Lane, it's important to make one final note before the tour resumes in Paris in May. Before her magnum opus took off higher than the "Bad Blood" flames, Swift chose "Mirrorball" and "Tim McGraw" to be her very first surprise songs. She ended year one with the same two songs, but flipped the instruments she played them on in a full-circle moment.
Her new album will come out April 19 and the full Eras Tour is streaming on Disney+, which begs the question: What her show will look like come Paris? She has a two-month break before 69 shows scheduled for Europe and North America. She also has two rerecords left to release: "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" and her self-titled debut album.
If there's one thing any Swiftie knows, it's Taylor Swift's ability to make news and create lasting memories through her record-shattering tour. What a first year; on to year two!

Taylor Swift's Eras: How the most successful concert tour ever got started in Arizona
Taylor Swift launched The Eras Tour era with a sold-out two-night stand at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday and Saturday, March 17-18, 2023, the opening salvo of a record-breaking tour that has dominated headlines and, in many ways, the conversation ever since.
The Eras Tour is a phenomenon as big as Swift herself, if such a thing is possible — the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first tour in history to generate more than $1 billion in revenue.
The concert film — "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" — released in theaters worldwide on Oct. 13, 2023, quickly became the highest-grossing concert film in history , a record previously held by Justin Bieber.
Following The Eras Tour launch, Swift immediately shot to No. 1 on Pollstar's Artist Power Index chart , ending 2023 as Time magazine’s perfectly obvious choice for Person of the Year .
"Swift’s accomplishments as an artist — culturally, critically and commercially — are so legion that to recount them seems almost beside the point," Time wrote.
Then, after running down a laundry list of those accomplishments while placing her alongside Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Madonna as a pop star, Time explained why this year more than any other year.
"As a celebrity — who by dint of being a woman is scrutinized for everything from whom she dates to what she wears — she has long commanded constant attention and knows how to use it," Time wrote.
"But this year, something shifted. To discuss her movements felt like discussing politics or the weather — a language spoken so widely it needed no context. She became the main character of the world."
By that point, USA TODAY had hired its own Taylor Swift reporter and Swift had grabbed another first — first billionaire in history with music as the main source of income .
How the Year of Taylor Swift began in Glendale, Arizona
And to think: The Year of Taylor all began in Glendale, which renamed itself Swift City for the weekend in her honor.
A symbolic rebrand, the Swift City storyline played out on digital billboards along freeways and in Glendale's Westgate Entertainment District, where State Farm Stadium is located, welcoming fans to Swift City.
For what it's worth, we would've gone with Glendale (Taylor's Version) .
Swift had launched the Reputation Tour in that same stadium five years earlier.
She really likes us!
The Eras Tour is 'a journey through all of my musical eras'
In announcing the tour, Swift had promised “a journey through all of my musical eras,” which by any reasonable metric, is a lot of ground to cover — 10 hit albums, four of which have been released since the conclusion of the Reputation Tour in late 2018.
And she made it look easy, enjoying the journey as much as the Swifties who flocked to the show did while revisiting her catalog one era at a time in a marathon set that ran more than three hours, squeezing in 44 songs before the night was through.
Her earliest eras weren’t as prominently featured in the journey as her recent albums. There was only one song, “Tim McGraw,” from her first album, “Taylor Swift,” and one, “Enchanted,” from her third release, “Speak Now.”
The early albums she’d already rerecorded in “Taylor’s Version” editions by the time the tour launched were given more time in the spotlight. There were three songs from her second album “Fearless” and four from her fourth album, “Red.”
Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour: 5 magic moments at State Farm Stadium that Arizonans saw first
The Eras Tour favored the eras since the Reputation Tour
It made sense that Swift would give more stage time to the albums she hadn’t had a chance to tour since being forced to pull the plug on Lover Fest, the tour she had planned in support of 2019’s “Lover,” in response to the pandemic that took everybody off the road in 2020.
Not quite an hour into her performance on Night 1 in Glendale, Swift asked fans, “Is it just me or do we have a lot of things to catch up on?”
Noting that “it’s been a really long time since I’ve been on tour,” she said they’d “added four new members to the family” since that last tour, introducing them by name as “Lover,” “Folklore,” Evermore” and “Midnights,” her latest release, which brought the concert to an end with a seven-song sampler.
It was a breathtaking journey through 17 years’ worth of musical eras with the artist connecting with at every step along the way.
When Taylor dove into a stream and sang 'All Too Well'
The stage show was designed to reach the back rows of the stadium with a breathtaking blend of artful set design — that “Folklore” cabin was cottagecore gold — and film projected on the massive screen behind the stage.
It was a concert packed with highlights, the most theatrical of which came at the end of an understated “Tim McGraw,” which Swift performed alone on a satellite stage, accompanying herself on an upright piano. At the song’s conclusion, she stood up and appeared to dive into a stream to swim beneath the runaway to the main stage.
As entertaining as that was, the full 10-minute version of “All Too Well” from “Red (Taylor’s Version),” the longest song to top the Billboard Hot 100, emerged as the concert’s emotional centerpiece, a heartbreaking triumph that ended in a haunting shower of paper snowflakes.
That opening-night performance also introduced the concept of “ surprise songs ,” two unannounced acoustic songs she planned to slip into the set each night just to keep fans guessing in the Era of the Online Setlist, where a quick Google search can reveal all.
The Era Tour is scheduled to conclude on Dec. 8, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada.

Everything We Know About Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour So Far
Surprise songs, Taylor (kind of) stage diving — and so much more!

Hot on the heels of surprise-dropping four songs, Taylor Swift kicked off The Eras Tour on March 17, and we haven’t stopped thinking about it since. In fact, we’re even giving Swifties the chance to join our scavenger hunt on the SXM App to be eligible for a chance to win tickets to Taylor’s May 27th show (see more details below)!

It’s been five years since Taylor’s last full tour, and with everyone now rooting for the anti-hero, the hype is real. The singer seems determined to live up to that hype, with The Eras Tour already shaping up to be legendary. From surprise songs to outfit changes and clever staging, here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour so far.
Are you ready for it?
Calling all Swifties! You’re 4 riddles away.
Record Ticket Sales
The Eras Tour was breaking records before it even began — talk about getting off to a good start! Over two million tickets were sold the day they went live, meaning Taylor now holds the record for the most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day.
While that likely added a lot of pressure to this tour, Taylor has been meeting expectations. Fans routinely gush about the show on social media, praising her tireless dedication and commitment to a stellar performance.
The runtime definitely shows her commitment to entertaining her fans, and if this tour is going to prove one thing, it’s that Taylor Swift has serious stamina. The show clocks in at over three hours , with Taylor cramming a crowd-pleasing 44 songs into the set.
Each of her 10 studio albums — or eras — gets its own act, which sees Taylor elaborately recreate the associated aesthetic on stage via projections, sets, and costumes.
Designer Costumes
With designers like Versace, Roberto Cavalli, and Zuhair Murad working on her tour outfits, the looks are truly iconic. We all know Taylor loves to sparkle, and she really let herself get “Bejeweled” for this tour. We’re talking sparkly boots, sparkly jackets, sparkly dresses, sparkly bodysuits — the works.
Fans have been wowed by the fits, and with there already being a few variations from night to night, we can only hope that perhaps we’ll get to see even more outfits as the tour continues to roll out.
Stage Diving
Speaking of which: So many outfits, so little time! Taylor’s outfit changes happen fast and occasionally on stage. Others require slightly more time, but even those are covered up very cleverly and add to the experience.
One such trick involves Taylor seemingly taking a headfirst dive into the stage, with screen projections showing her swimming inside the stage and across the stadium. She’s really taking the concept of stage diving to the next level!
The staging and projection throughout are impressive, creating distinct atmospheres for each of the eras. From the ethereal forests of evermore and the dreamy pastels of Lover to the “cottagecore” aesthetic of folklore and the sparkly showers of Fearless , the transformations are beautiful.
Taylor just dived into the stage for a change to the Midnights era! How did she do that?! #TSTheErasTour pic.twitter.com/7olnCMnoUt — Taylor Swift Updates (@SwiftNYC) March 18, 2023
Live Debuts
Taylor’s last scheduled tour, Lover Fest, was canceled back in 2020, meaning that The Eras Tour is the first time we’ve had the chance to hear some of her newer songs live. Debuting tracks from Lover , folklore , evermore , and Midnights — or, as Swift puts it, the four “new members [added] to the family” — her repertoire is now undeniably extensive.
Surprise Songs
Even with the three-hour runtime, it’s impossible for her to include all of her hits. Luckily, Taylor seems well aware of that and plans to give more songs their time to shine, because surprise songs are back for The Eras Tour.
Surprise songs are a staple of Taylor Swift concerts, and Swifties everywhere will be thrilled to know that this tradition of hers is continuing. In adding a different hit from her back catalog to the setlist each night, Taylor brings something special and unique to each gig. With fan-favorite songs like “Mirrorball,” “Tim McGraw,” and “This Is Me Trying” already crossed off the list, we’re starting to feel the FOMO — but there are still so many huge songs we have yet to hear.
“Long Story Short,” this is going to be one heck of a tour!

Thanks to Swifties, trading friendship bracelets have become a memorable part of the Eras Tour. If you plan on making bracelets and need inspiration, we’ve got you covered. Read on for the best Taylor Swift friendship bracelet ideas for every era, including quotes, music lyrics, inside jokes, and more!
Remember when you were at a sleepover or summer camp, and you and your friends made colorful beaded bracelets and traded them with each other? We certainly do, and that sense of nostalgia is exactly what makes crafting friendship bracelets for the Eras Tour so special. Trading a meaningful item that connects you with another Swiftie who has shared the same experience (like seeing your idol live in a once-in-a-lifetime concert) is what it’s all about.
The idea to make friendship bracelets for Swift’s tour emerged sometime after the pop star released her tenth studio album, Midnights, in October 2022. One of the album’s tracks, “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” features the lyrics:
’Cause there were pages turned with the bridges burned Everything you lose is a step you take So make the friendship bracelets Take the moment and taste it You’ve got no reason to be afraid
After the album’s release, some fans suggested on social media to create and swap friendship bracelets at the pop star’s upcoming tour. Once the tour officially began and more concertgoers participated in the trend, creating friendship bracelets for The Eras Tour turned into a worldwide phenomenon. Swifties have shared tutorials about making friendships on social media, started selling friendship bracelets on Etsy, and posted videos of wearing and trading their bracelets at the Eras Tour.
After all, Swift’s football beau, Travis Kelce, revealed on his podcast “New Heights” that he tried to give the singer a friendship bracelet with his phone number before one of her concerts at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he admitted at the time. So you could say that a friendship bracelet kicked off their “love story.”
Everyone from Swift and Kelce to the celebrity Eras Tour guests to the pop star’s bodyguard has sported friendship bracelets from fans. Who knows, yours may even get onto the arm of Blondie herself.

Taylor Swift closes Singapore Eras Tour with country-themed mashup
Taylor Swift is playing the National Stadium in Singapore for six nights on her only Southeast Asia tour stop on the Eras Tour. For the acoustic set, the star continued her 2024 trend of mashups for the guitar and piano.
"I kind of thought since this is the last show for awhile and this is the end of the leg for this tour and we've had such a wonderful time, I've been a little bit nostalgic," Swift said. "I thought maybe I should go back to the beginning."
For the final night in Singapore, Swift mashed up of "Tim McGraw" off her debut album with "Cowboy Like Me" from "Evermore" on the guitar and mixed "Mirrorball" and "Epiphany" from "Folklore" on the piano.
Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.
Night five includes 'False God' + 'Slut!'
"I just wanted this to be a surprise for every single show," Swift said with Travis Kelce in the crowd . "It keeps me on my toes. It keeps you on your toes."
She played one of her "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" hits, "Sparks Fly," with "Gold Rush" from "Evermore" on the guitar.
Before she dived into the stage, she combined "False God" from "Lover" with "Slut!" from "1989 (Taylor's Version)."
'Count to 10, take it in' on night four
"These songs are total surprises for everyone in the room except me," she laughed holding her guitar on night four.
First, Swift fused "Death By A Thousand Cuts" from "Lover" with "Babe" from "Red (Taylor's Version)." Before the bridge, she strummed and said, "Ready?" to the crowd and they went wild before singing "My heart, my hips..." with her.
On the piano, she melded "Fifteen" from "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" with "You're On Your Own Kid" from "Midnights."
Night three, 'call it what you want'
For night three, Swift combined "Foolish One" from "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and "Tell Me Why" from "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" on the guitar and "This Love" from "1989 (Taylor's Version)" and "Call It What You Want" from "Reputation" on the piano.
"I'm trying to play things from lots of different eras," she said, "lots of different albums."
Story time for night two
On night two, Swift strummed a mashup of "Long Story Short" from "Evermore" and "The Story of Us" from "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" on the guitar.
Before she performed on the keys, Swift made a surprise announcement to the crowd regarding a fourth variant for her eleventh album, "The Tortured Poets Department."
"I kind of wanted to show you something that nobody else has seen," she said before showing the artwork. Then, she performed a mashup of "Clean" from "1989 (Taylor's Version)" and the title track from "Evermore" on the piano.
Two 'Reputation' songs for night one
"This has become my favorite part of the show," Swift said on Saturday, "because it's become just very chaotic and it's become a challenge for me to think of new things to do for every single city and just hope I'm doing something that you guys might like."
On night one, Swift blended "Mine" from "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" with "Starlight" from "Red (Taylor's Version)" on the guitar and performed a mashup of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" from the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie soundtrack and "Dress" from "Reputation" on the piano.
Swift will perform for six nights in Singapore before taking a two-month break. Her next show is in Paris on May 9.
