Please refer to the pictures to see what I say. We were pleased with this item until we started piecing it together. We soon noticed that the bottom piece came with what seemed to be white chalky marks. I thought about some product I had for polishing it out and it worked. Well...It was not only the bottom piece but also the piece with the rails for the drawers. So, here we go...do the clean up and well stuff was fine until... We found that the door had a deep, long scratch next to the door handle. For the little over $200+ we would have expected something like that from an open box item not from a brand new item. I "fixed" it with a wood filler marker and it seemed to work fine but really you can still see it slightly. Size, color, make (besides the imperfections above) is actually good. Once you are done putting it together is actually sturdy and well made. Unfortunately, those imperfections have me thinking if I would like to buy more furniture items from this site....BTW, there were some other minor tiny scratches but they were fixable with the wood filler marker. .
