In the midst of BTS ‘ hiatus, Suga has become the first BTS member to embark on a solo tour , with a slate of dates scheduled around the world this spring, including a U.S. run. Announced in February 2023, Min Yoon-gi titled his tour under his BTS stage name “ Suga “, as well as his other stage moniker, Agust D.

Even though all seven members of BTS are exploring solo projects right now (and completing their mandatory military service ), Suga has been releasing his own self-produced music for a few years now. Back in 2016, he dropped a debut self-titled mixtape as Agust D, then followed that project up in 2020 with another mixtape, D-2 . Suga has also done a bunch of production work for other artists recently, including Psy , the Japanese singer Ømi, and his BTS bandmate Jung Kook.

Suga’s Agust D tour will kick off April 26 in New York and will span the U.S. before making its way to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and soon-to-be announced Japan dates. But just like any previous BTS tour, tickets are selling out faster than you can add to cart — but don’t stress. Suga Agust D 2023 Tour Dates

Having grown as both a producer and rapper for BTS since the group’s debut in 2013, the global superstar will kick off the U.S. run of their “Suga/Agust D” solo tour with two shows at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York — outside New York City — on April 26 and 27.

Suga will then play one show in Newark, New Jersey, three in Rosemont, Illinois (just outside of Chicago), and three in Los Angeles. The U.S. leg wraps with two gigs in Oakland on May 16 and 17. After touring the U.S., Suga will head to Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, before returning to Seoul, South Korea, for two shows on June 24 and 25. BTS' Suga Announced His First Solo World Tour

The rapper and singer will hold 11 shows in the U.S.

BTS is set to start their mandatory military service soon, but they’re giving their fans a proper send off before then. In addition to the individual solo projects, albums, and collaborations they’ve all released, Suga will become the first member to embark on his own solo world tour.

The group’s charismatic rapper, songwriter, and producer announced his first-ever global tour on Tuesday, which will take him to cities across the U.S., Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan. On his own, the member will play arena stages — and likely sell them out, too. The tour, called Agust D, named after his 2016 solo mixtape and his other stage name, kicks off in late April and will likely wrap up three months later in July with a few dates yet to be announced in Japan.

In the U.S., Suga is scheduled to play huge venues like New Jersey’s Prudential Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum — two arenas with a seat capacity of over 17,000. Per the tour schedule, he’s set to play multiple nights in some cities, which will hopefully ease some of the overwhelming fan demand (and ticketing nightmares).

Last we checked, Suga was meant to kick off his military duties in March 2023, but given the scheduling of the tour, that seems to have changed. It is likely he’ll instead enlist following the tour. NME reported that the boyband member will also not enter active duty as previously thought, and will instead fulfill his military requirements as a social service agent.

In addition to his 2016 mixtape Agust D , Suga also released D-2 , his second solo mixtape, in 2020. This tour will finally give him the opportunity to perform both of those projects live. Registration is now open to access one of two Verified Fan presales on Ticketmaster. The first, for ARMY Members, will kick off on Wednesday, March 1. All tickets will be available during the ARMY Member presale. The general Verified Fan presale will begin Thursday, March 2, pending ticket availability. Register here .

SUGA’s Tour Presale Tickets: Everything You Need to Know

Fans who have registered for tickets will receive email notifications beginning Tuesday evening.

Can BTS fans still register for tickets? Unfortunately, registration for ARMY Member presale tickets on WeVerse and Ticketmaster Verified Fans closed on Feb. 23.   

What time do the tickets go on sale? ARMY Member Presale tickets will go on sale Wednesday, at 3 p.m. local time until 10 p.m. local time.

General Verified Fan Presale tickets are scheduled to go on sale Thursday at 3 p.m. local time until 10 p.m. local time – if they’re still available. Any leftover tickets will be available via Public On sale on Friday at 3 p.m. local venue time, per the Ticketmaster blog .

BTS fans can register for both ARMY Member Presale and General Verified Fan tickets but will only receive a notification for one of the two.

SUGA announced dates for the tour , named after his Agust D mixtape, on Valentine’s Day . The tour, which is his first as a solo performer, kicks off April 26 at the Belmont Park, New York. The jaunt will stop in New Jersey, Illinois and California before heading overseas for two nights in Seoul, Korea in addition to Jakarta, Bangkok and Singapore.

How to Get Your Tickets

The evening of Tuesday, February 28 , registered fans will receive an email from Ticketmaster confirming whether they’ve been verified and selected to participate in the ARMY MEMBER Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan .

If selected, fans will also receive a text message to the number provided during registration. This text will include a unique access code and a link to shop. Keep an eye out for this text and be careful not to accidentally delete it.

The ARMY MEMBER Presale begins on Wednesday, March 1 at 3PM local venue time . The Waiting Room will open 30 minutes before the sale begins. You may only join the Waiting Room using the same Ticketmaster account that you registered with.

When the sale begins, fans in the Waiting Room will be assigned a spot in line. When it is your turn to shop, you must enter your access code exactly as it appears to access tickets.

How to Get Tickets to BTS’ Suga’s Agust D Solo Tour

ARMY is gearing up for BTS ' Suga 's first solo world tour!

The tour was announced on Feb. 14 while Suga coyly went live to celebrate the surprise news.

This marks the first time a BTS member has embarked on a solo tour. Fellow rappers j-hope and RM have both performed sets of their solo music live before, but neither toured their solo music.

RM held a small concert in Seoul to celebrate the release of his first official solo album,  Indigo , in 2022, while j-hope made a splash on the Lollapalooza stage in Chicago in 2022 as a history-making headliner.

BTS members are currently exploring solo opportunities as they prepare for mandatory military enlistment. Their oldest member, Jin, has already enlisted, and the next in line is j-hope, who announced his plans to begin the process on Feb. 26.

The last time BTS went on a world tour as a group was their  Love Yourself World Tour in 2018 and 2019.

Now, Suga is set to mark a new first for the group with his solo world tour.

When Are Presales for Suga's Agust D World Tour?

The ARMY Member presale codes are set to be sent out on the evening of Feb. 28, with the sale beginning Wednesday, March 1, at 3 p.m. local venue time.

The General Verified Fan presale codes will be sent out by the evening of March 1, and the sale starts at 3 p.m. local venue time on Thursday, March 2.

How Do Presales Work for Suga's Agust D World Tour?

Fans who signed up for either presale will receive a unique code via email and text. The waiting room will open 30 minutes before tickets drop, and each person will be assigned a spot in the virtual line.

When the sale begins, fans should enter their access code to purchase tickets. Fans are limited to a maximum of four tickets per person.

How to Register For Suga's Agust D Tour ARMY Member Presale

Registration for ARMY Member Presale (and General Verified Fan Presale) will be available from Feb. 14 to Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET.

To become verified and eligible for the ARMY Member Presale, you must purchase an ARMY membership through HYBE's Weverse Shop (it costs $22 for a one-year subscription), register for the ARMY Member Presale on Weverse, and then register for the Army Member Presale on Ticketmaster . ARMY Member Presale invitations will be sent on the evening of Feb. 28.

If there are any tickets left after the ARMY Member Presale, they will all be available for purchase in the general verified fan presale (for which invitations will be sent out on the evening of March 1). Any remaining tickets will be available in a general sale.

This marks the first time a member of BTS will be embarking on a tour of their own — Suga, one of the rappers in the group, has released music in the past under the alter-ego moniker Agust D. This tour of the same name offers ARMY the first chance to hear the rapper perform cuts from his past releases — and hopefully some new music — in a live setting. Update: Suga will release his new Agust D solo album, D-DAY , on April 21st.

What Is SUGA’s 2023 Tour?

While details are still somewhat slim, Suga will be heading out to perform cuts from his collection of music recorded as Agust D. This suggests that new solo music could be on the way ahead of the world tour.

Suga first debuted solo music as Agust D via Soundcloud with a self-titled mixtape in 2016. He followed this up with a surprise release in 2020, titled  D-2 , which included “Daechwita,” a song BTS have performed as a group onstage. During this era, BTS’s “second chapter” which features solo releases from each member, there’s a strong chance a full Agust D record could be on the way from Suga.

Who Is Opening for SUGA on Tour?

That’s right, the BTS rapper will hit the road in April 2023! So, does this mean we can expect new music from the K-pop star any time soon? Keep reading for everything we know.

Suga/Agust D World Tour: Tickets, Dates

Suga, whose Korean name is Min Yoongi, will kick off his world tour at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, on April 26 and 27. He is then set for one date in Newark, New Jersey, three in Rosemont, Illinois, and three in Los Angeles. He’ll wrap up the U.S. leg with two shows in Oakland on May 16 and 17.

Following that, he’ll head to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan (with those dates to be announced soon).

The tour is under both his BTS stage name, Suga, and his other stage moniker, Agust D. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on March 3 at 3 p.m. local time.

Shortly after announcing the tour, Suga went live on  Weverse  on Valentine’s Day. “I can’t say much, but yes … let’s see each other at the concert. It’s late now so I’ll be going. Let’s see each other soon,” according to a translation by  @Bora_twts .

And will any of the BTS members be making an appearance at Suga’s tour? J-Hope, who dropped his solo album  Jack In the Box  in July 2022, was asked that very same question during a February 2023  livestream  by a fan, replying coyly: “Well … ” before smirking at the camera. Well,  what?! 

Is Suga Releasing New Music Under Agust D? Album No. 3 Details

After news of his solo tour hit, many fans were wondering if this meant Suga would be releasing new music beforehand.

ICYMI, Suga has released two albums under solo moniker Agust D, which is the stage name he used before debuting with BTS in 2013. It’s an anagram of Suga, along with DT (D Town) which is a nod to his hometown city of Daegu. He released his first album  Agust D  in 2016 and his second  D-2  in 2020.

While Suga has yet to confirm when album No. 3 will be released, the rapper, who writes and produces his own music, revealed he has been working on a “follow-up” to his D-2  album in an interview with  WeVerse Magazine  from June 2022.

“I think that, when I release an album as Agust D, that’s a solo work with solo promotions, and I feel like I should use the same system that regular groups do when they’re promoting and have a lead single and a B-side,” he explained. “I was thinking a lot recently that maybe I should shoot two music videos: one just there for the visuals, while the other is more focused on the listening experience.”

“I’m working hard on a follow-up to  D-2, ” he added. “There’s still so much I want to do. I have no feel for what kind of music I’m going to be making in my 30s, 40s or 50s, but I want to keep doing music until the day I die.”

SUGA's Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" THE MOVIE debuts at #2 on the US Daily Domestic Chart with a gross box office collection of $961k on its first day

O n Friday, April 12, SUGA's Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" THE MOVIE was released in 783 movie theaters across the world, making an impressive debut. The movie debuted at #2 on the US Daily Domestic Chart, a chart that creates a cumulative for movie releases based on their box office numbers. On just the opening day of the BTS rapper's movie, it garnered an impressive gross box office collection of $961,015, which roughly translated to 1.3 billion KRW.

Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" THE MOVIE showcases the idol's performances and behind-the-scenes moments from his recent solo world tour, Agust D Tour. Given that only a limited amount of people were able to bag tickets to the idol's show and experience his first solo tour, SUGA released a documentation of the same to make it more remarkable and accessible to everyone.

The movie was shown in both 2D and iMAX versions, and fans enjoyed the revisit of the idol's enthusiastic and heartwarming performances on the big screens. Especially given that the idol is currently away, serving his mandatory military service, the movie release stands as a gift to ARMYs amidst his absence in the industry.

BTS SUGA's Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" THE MOVIE makes impressive debut at the US Daily Domestic Charts

After BigHit Entertainment announced that a movie version of BTS' SUGA's Agust D Tour will be hitting the screens on April 10 and 13 worldwide, fans were naturally thrilled about the same. Given that the movie came with several other additions, such as specialized merchandise like poster-printed beverage and popcorn cups, iMAX experience, and more, fans were looking forward to the release.

Unsurprisingly, the movie performed remarkably well in the theatres. On its opening day alone, the movie garnered a whooping gross box office collection of 1.3 billion KRW, showcasing the power of the idol and his fandom despite his absence in the industry. This box office amount naturally led to the movie premiere's debut at #2 in the US Daily Domestic Chart, which calculates movies' performance and ranks them based on their box office amount.

While this achievement only counts for its first day, one more day of worldwide screening is left for the Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" THE MOVIE on April 13.

As mentioned before, the Agust D TOUR "D-DAY" THE MOVIE revolves around SUGA's recent solo world tour that took place right before the idol departed for his mandatory military service.

After making his official solo debut with his first album, D-Day, the idol rolled out a long list of concerts for Agust D Tour , making several stops across the world.

The tour made history as the highest grossing tour , selling out all its venues with a whopping 155k attendees. From how the idol choreographed his performances to how he carried each show, fans learnt about and experienced his love for music at a closer level.

Missy Elliott announces tour with Ciara, Busta Rhymes and Timbaland — how to get tickets

Missy Elliott's first time headlining a tour will be with people who have been a part of her music since the beginning of her career.

The famed rapper announced her "Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience" tour on social media April 8 and shared that singer Ciara, rapper Busta Rhymes and producer Timbaland will be on the road with her. They have collaborated with Elliott on songs throughout her career.

"ATTENTION IT’S TIME," her caption read. The post was a video featuring Elliott, Ciara and Busta Rhymes in an intergalactic space as they try to figure out where they are. Elliott then calls who she refers to as Tim, most likely Timbaland, for help.

"These three icons come together to show you something you've never seen before," Elliott says in the video.

“'OUT OF THIS WORLD'TOUR across NORTH AMERICA!!!! With my family @ciara @bustarhymes & @timbaland This Spaceship will be Landing NEAR YOU RUN 4 COVER!" she added in the caption.

Elliott said in a press release announcing the news that she's in a season of firsts, even in this advanced stage of her career. She has released six albums and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. She also holds an honorary doctorate in music degree from Berklee College of Music.

“This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone ‘firsts,’” she said. “Being the FIRST female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and now going out on my FIRST headline tour."

She said there's been fan interest in her going on tour for some time, but she waited until it felt right to her.

"Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family! So get ready to be taken OUT OF THIS WORLD with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland! We can’t wait to share this experience with the fans!" she said.

The tour lineup could not be more exciting for super fans and is currently scheduled to have stops across the U.S. and in Canada during July and August.

Why is Missy Elliott going on tour with Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and Ciara?

Elliott has worked with all three artists over the years.

In 2019, Elliott wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Timbaland produced her 1997 debut studio album "Supa Dupa Fly" in just two weeks. Timbaland and Busta Rhymes are both featured on the "Work It" singer's first studio album.

Elliott has teamed up with Ciara on classic songs like "1, 2 Step" (2004) and “Lose Control” (2005).

How to get tickets to Missy Elliott's tour

Tickets will become available for Verizon presale on April 9 at 10 a.m. local time for each concert location, according to the press release and Ticketmaster .

Once presale tickets are available, fans can purchase tickets through Verizon Up until the window closes April 11 at 10 p.m.

Additional presales will run throughout the week leading up to the general onsale starting on April 12 at 10 a.m. on the singer's website , the release said.
