AUGUST BURNS RED announce 'Rescue & Restore' 10th anniversary tour

Metalcore greats August Burns Red will be celebrating their milestone sixth album, Rescue & Restore , with a big 10th anniversary tour later this year. The trek — which is set to kick off November 10th in Worcester, Massachusetts — will see the band playing the record in its entirety in each night, along with other fan faves and classics. Joining ABR will be Brand of Sacrifice, Spite and Crystal Lake.

" Rescue & Restore was a pivotal album for ABR," the band commented in a joint statement. "It was the first album where we really started to experiment and explore different instruments and textures that we'd never used before. After 10 records and 20 years as a band, this album is still one of our proudest moments collectively. We are so grateful for the opportunity to play the entire record every night on tour and to showcase songs we've never performed live before. This tour is going to special. We'll see you in November and December!"

Grammy-nominated Lancaster five-piece August Burns Red have a big year ahead of them in 2023. First, the band will drop its new album,  Death Below , on March 24. ABR has also announced its 20-Year Anniversary Tour, during which they will play material off all nine of their albums as they hit North America.

Lead guitarist JB Brubaker shares more about the announcement:

“Where does the time go? I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!”

The first leg of the tour kicks off on February 15 in Silver Spring, MD and runs through March 14 in Charlotte, NC. The second leg launches on April 13 in Philadelphia, PA and wraps on May 12 in Quebec in Canada. The tour marks the first time the band has played Canada since 2019. The support acts are The Devil Wears Prada, and Scottish band Bleed From Within, who are touring the U.S. for the first time. The bands will appear on both legs of the tour.

August Burns Red Book Two 20th Anniversary 2023 Tours With The Devil Wears Prada + Bleed From Within

Metalcore icons August Burns Red not only have a new album ( Death Below ) coming out next year, but they've also just announced two batches of 20th anniversary tour dates with special guests The Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within .

Fans can expect a career-spanning set that includes material from all of their studio albums, from the 2005 debut  Thrill Seeker through the aforementioned  Death Below , which drops on March 24 on SharpTone Records.

"Where does the time go?," asks lead guitarist JB Brubaker.

"I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you," he continues, amped to hit the road in the winter.

The first run of dates is comprised only of U.S. stops and stretches from Feb. 15 through March 14. After that, it's a month-long break before all three groups load up their gear for 22 more shows from April 13 through May 12.

August Burns Red sets ‘Rescue & Restore’ anniversary tour, Christmas Burns Red shows

August Burns Red will embark on the “Rescue & Restore” 10th anniversary tour in fall 2023. The North American run will kick off Nov. 10 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and end Dec. 9 in the band’s hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The band will perform the “Rescue & Restore” album in full in each night, along with other fan favorites and classics. Brand of Sacrifice, Spite and Crystal Lake will serve as support.
