Camila Cabello is definitely a concert to see. I am a concertaholic so I get around to my fare share of concerts and this was by far one of the best shows I have seen. Her vocals as good as you would hear on her album, she entertains the entire time and seems to be one of the most genuine, kind artists out there. Weather she is dancing or standing Camila and do anything and still sound like an angel. This concert had the best entertainment I had ever seen, before this concert Why Don't We had this title for there choreographed dancing but Camilla came in and stole the show with her 6 dancers that could dance circles around anyone. Not only did Camilla talk to the front of the crowd but she acknowledged the very back of the crowd and gave a beautiful speech about how no matter what your going through you have to push through and know you will make it!

The best night eveeeeeeer!!!!!. I had such a great time, she is super cute and beautiful the way she spoke to the public woow and she talked to us in spanish, I love when she speaks in spanish. And before sing one song she introduced to us talking to lil bit what does "x" song means to her and I really loved that, she spoke a lot with us I loved so much that too.

She's super kind and sweet the graphics on the screens before every song was amazing !!! and she brought guest artists to sing with her in spanish, she was magical, that night, all that magic was in Mexico City.

She gives all in every song, the way she dances all, was perfect !!!! And when she brought her dad to stage to sing with the mariachis was super cool, simply unforgettable, so special.

Amazing!!! She is a great artist. But the arena could have made it more organised. Their entry system should start earlier instead of the last minute. Many people that were not priority for O2 got in first due to the lack of control from the security and coordination team. Including gett8ng 2 lines, one for priority and one for normal entry. Claiming to have verified since morning but then, the first ones from the normal l8ne were discovered to be priority and placed in the wrong line since 10am till 7pm.

UNFORGATEABLE! I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to see her. It was worth it that I came just for her to Amsterdam, so thank you! The crowd was insane, energetic and beautiful, which made it more enjoyable:) Thank you for your inspireful words and for keeping me sane C.C. Hopefully we see eachother the next time on a europe tour

Camila was amazing but the venue messed us about too much

I don recommend O2, very poor service and the venue was very small and tight

However, Camila was a brilliant performer and she very entertaining

I couldn’t keep my eyes off her

She’s amazing and really knows how to hype up the stage. Her dancing is so good and she loves to talk with the crowd. She sings with so much passion and you can tell how much she loves performing for so many people.

Billboard 200: Camila Cabello Scores Third Top 10 Album with ‘Familia’

camila cabello tour familia

Camila Cabello has overcome the odds.

The songbird hatched her latest album, ‘Familia,’ last week and, as reported , had a battle on its hands for a spot in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

At the time of the initial forecast, the set appeared to be on track to launch outside of the top 10.

However, with the final numbers tallied, the 24-year-old has triumphed.

Full story below…

‘Familia,’ which was preceded by singles ‘Don’t Go Yet,’ ‘Bam Bam,’ and ‘Psychofreak,’ premieres at #10 on the tally.

The LP sold 27,500 units.

Of that sum, 14,500 were accrued by way of streaming (from the 20.26 million total on-demand official streams earned by the set’s songs). Traditional units account for 11,500 and TEA units comprise almost 1,500.

The album benefitted from a discount on Amazon, where it was sold for $5.99 .

In any case, with ‘Familia,’ all three of Cabello’s solo albums have debuted within the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Indeed, her 2018 debut ‘Camila’ launched with 119,000 (#1) and its 2019 follow-up ‘Romance’ premiered at #3 with 86,000.

With that, what are…

Your thoughts?

3 top 10 albums under my girl’s belt

Now show us normani’s album, we are waiting

We have been waiting for u to show us normani’s album since 2018 😂💀

Yaaaaaaaaaaas we did it Queen! Amazing album from an amazing artist with a VISION! Such a rarity in this day and age! 👑🔥

Y’all proud of 27,000 y’all don’t expect much i see 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

' src=

Hahahahaha vision???

The album is so good Its gonna age well just like Romance 😍😍

3 solo albums under her belt This are strong bodies of work Camila can stand on. So proud of her

' src=

The way that you convince yourself. I cannot stop laughing lmaooo.

' src=

She might as well go indie at this point. All that promo for 27k

This album will climb once she puts out some of the better songs from the album as singles. The singles Don’t Go Yet and Bam Bam were terrible single choices and by far the weakest songs on the album. They shouldn’t even have made the cut imo. The album has bops for days!

Bam Bam shouldn’t have been recorded and she should have had a visual for Oh Na Na. Not even on the album but Don’t Go Yet is. So many missed opportunities. Good luck Camila, I don’t see the album moving more units unless she has a major #1

' src=

Albums usually dwindle down unless it’s a hot single good luck but hold ya breath 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah most campaigns run backwards nowadays, these artists will release like 4 singles, then the album, and then crickets afterwards

It’s alleged that Cardi is set to feature on the psychofreak remix.

Lies cardi need to focus on her own music them kids really slowed cardi down smh I’m over it

At this point Cardi just needs to keep doing high profile singles forever. Cause it’s been years of singles with no record. Literally how long has it been since her song with Bruno? Ridiculous

The only music Cardi focused on is Seaweed Sway form Baby Shark 😂😂😂😂

Whew, thank goodness 😍 A top 10 debut A spanish language album did that.

Her 3rd top 10 album.

This album sold solely on name recognition only. No top 20 hit on this album yet and it still hit the top 10.

Congratulations Camila 3 beautiful studio albums

Thr End of an Era. 💯

She had a good run

Gurl, shut up 😂

Why do yall want her to be over so bad? Are u scared? 😂😂

U guys said she will never happen when she left 5th harmony but fast forward 6 years later, 3 albums, 2 number 1s, 20 billboard entries, 3 grammy nominations, diamond plaque, billions of streams etc

😂😂 Are u not tired? Lol Camila is here to stay

She released this album with no top 20 hit, that’s to show u she doesnt care about numbers

Albums 100 percent Spanish is Spanish language albums this is not but of course it makes you feel better and huh justify it flopped because it’s Spanish language album pathetic

You’re crying, on Easter day 😂😂😂😂

Camila making u cry on Easter day 😂😂

A spanish language album did that with no top 20 hit on the album (yet)

If I ask u to show us normani’s album, ur gonna go mute or start writing essays deflecting. 😂😂

Catch the L

You can only deflect for so long Clarkson. 27k after going diamond is truly a worst case scenario

Its easter, why are u crying? 😂

Deflecting? Who releases an album without a top 20 hit? A spanish album for that matter.

“27k after going diamond”

Stop setting unrealistic standards for Camila Anytime she release a song and it doesnt do Havana or senorita numbers, yall will start writing think pieces about how shes over. Lol U need to give it up, this girl is not going anywhere.

Camila has a number 1 album under her belt, her debut for that matter. Doja , lil nas x, dua lipa , dont have a number 1 album

If the bar is 11k then these artists are basically giving their music away for free

S*** is sad as f***, that’s why I’m crying

they fuming in the comments. 😂😂😂

They thought she was gonna do worse but she did better. 😂😂 Camila will always find a way to win.

3 solid body of works.

Camila- 3 Grammy nominations Romance- 1 Grammy nomination Familia- hopefully a grammy nomination for best collaboration for bam bam with ed Sheeran

.@Camila_Cabello’s “Familia” has now surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify. 😂😂😂😂😂

Camila-3.5 billion streams

Romance-3.6 billion streams

Familia- 400 million streams (so far)

No top 20 hit on this album (yet) and she still released it.

Most artists wait until they get a top 10 hit before dropping an album, but Camila didn’t. Her power

Psycho freak is predicted to debut at number 79.

This would be Camila’s 20th billboard entry

1 hit wonder indeed. 😂😂

Wow you proud of an artists with over 60 million instagram followers debuting at 79 ok 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Beyonce black is king sold 400 copies in the uk and beyonce has over 200 million followers

Stop speaking on girls who are putting out albums and bodies of work and start focusing on ur faves who cant chart solo

Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100: #15(new) Fair, @Normani.

Congrats Camila on selling 11,000 👏 🥳

Since 2018, embarrassing me think

' src=

I’m no fan nor do I have anything against her. But when I first heard Don’t Go Yet, I was like damn I’m liking this direction. Same goes with Bam Bam, I love the fact she incorporated all those live instruments and latin rythms. Versus just throwing a small latin touch because it’s trendy. La Buena Vida is a beautiful song, so good to bring the Mariachis.

My only regret is that the whole album isn’t in the same lane as these 3 songs.

Also, I feel like vocally she doesn’t challenge herself enough.

Last thing is the tracks lenght, some are way too short. Let the instruments shine, give us outros with just the instruments, the Cuban rythms and all that.

Show us her album, they cant

But they have the nerve to speak on girls with ALBUMS (plural) . Smh

Career didnt even start after all the hype and industry support Smh.

' src=

Ouch I can’t believe with all that promo she only sold 27.5k and 11.5k in pure sales. She literally promoted the heck out of this album!! Her pure sales are still worst than Megan Trainor’s Treat Myself. Nothing to brag about here. There were many debut albums this week. She should have at least secured a Top 5 debut with all this promo. Next weeks sales will be very interesting. Also, Fivio sold more overall first week with less promo. Doja Cat, Olivia and Drake are still on top and sold much more.

There is no excuse here unfortunately this is a damn Flop !! Brandy’s B7 sold more in pure sales. With all those TV performances, interviews etc and Familia still sold less than 15k compared to Romance sales 54k this is a very drastic drop. There are 8 songs on the album in English. There is absolutely no excuse for these awful sales!! None!! By the way I’m not a fan of Normani either. Thanks!!

' src=

Correction:: there weren’t many debuts this week. Therefore it should’ve at least debuted higher. No excuses !!

' src=

I was about to say damn even Brandy sold like 17k in pure sales 💀

all this mouf but when we say “explain the 9k” 😂 all we get is deflection. crickets. statistics 😂 going out so sad

Like 11k after slashing the album in half is any better 🥲

S*** is sad af but she needs at least one fan I suppose

' src=

9k? After all of that. I literally still cannot stop laughing

😂😂😂😂 This rat was never a star

' src=

The album was $5.99 on Amazon?? 🤣😩🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nothing dated about her work All her songs are aging well Havana Senorita My oh my Crying in the club dont go yet Consequences Find u again Bad things Beautiful

All her albums are aging well especially romance. My girl will stand the test of time. Talent will always win.

Who is listening to wild side, or motivation or fair 😂😂😂😂💀💀 Aged like milk. smh Even the videos yall were hyping aged badly. Very dated and gimmicky.

' src=

Lol your a mega lossser. And Camilas still a flop

U big MAD? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Happy easter. 😂

Lmao look at you. A whole lonely loser. No life achievements. No goals. No family to spend your miserable Easter with. Lol they hate you lol. And btw Camilas still a flop. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 happy Easter.

Big mad 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

' src=

Why would anyone be mad at Camila flopping? You are the mad one. Big mad and embarrassed….🍳

Gurl, ur still here? Crying under my comment 😂😂😂

On easter sunday for that matter 😂😂

Be mad and stay mad. We love to see it

' src=

Lol Jack White barely promoted his album this past week and still had the highest debut. This is his 4th solo studio album. He’s also known for collaborating with Beyoncé on Don’t Hurt Yourself. Also, he’s apart of the group The White Stripes. By the way I’m not a fan just pointing out that he didn’t need sell his album for $5.99 or any smoke and mirrors to secure a Top 5 debut lol 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Camicky fans love to explain themselves but the moment you bring up 9k they silent 😂

' src=

Damn she flopped hard lmao!!!! All that promo and she was the only major release this week yikes!!!! Karma came for her racist ass 😂😂😂😂😂😂

This is an epic fail. Only 11k pure and 27k streaming. You mean to tell me after alll that promo no one cared to purchase OR stream??? This isn’t good no matter how you try to twist it. She’s doing K. Michelle numbers at this point.

' src=

Exactly !! What a joke. There’s no excuse!! Those pure sales are awful.

Yep no way in hell she turned a profit

The rat has to show her titties to children in order to get a top 10 😂 PATHETIC

' src=

Flooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop 🤣💋

' src=

Normani zero album Lmfaooooo

FLOPmila selling only 9k lolz

' src=

My tities are the only thing flopping.

' src=

Lololololol…this isn’t even that surprising cause this girl was never a MPG. It’s just funny seeing her 2 stans do Simone Biles level mental gymnastics to convince themselves this wasn’t an ABSOLUTE DISASTER.

And Spanish language album please stop. She released 3 singles all in English and NOTHING in Spanish and promoted everywhere in the US. Omg at the flop justification for this career ending mess.

The comments, they are in shambles 😂😂😂 Crying and weeping On easter day for that matterm 😂😂😂😂. The day the good lord rose from the dead. Lol

Anyways, see u Rio for the rock in rio concert in Brazil.

🚨 Tickets for Camila Cabello’s concert at Rock in Rio on September 10 are already sold out. The Festival in Brazil has around 100K people.

' src=

You are literally delusional and insane. You make up fake stats and twist the truth to make it seem like Flopmila isn’t a flop when she is. Your flop fave is not even headlining Rock in Rio shes opening for Coldplay!! 😂😂😂 She couldnt get a headlining slot cause she’s a flop and that spot went to Dua Lipa!

His talent for delusion is revolutionary

' src=

so you gon be in Rio? I’d love to see if you can talk as much smack in person 🔥👊

well done Epic for stepping up the smoke and mirrors tactics! now let’s see the second week drop

' src=

95% of Familia is in english and it still flopped badly. You would think with all these TV appearances and performances she would at least pull in 50k Overall. She was literally plastered everywhere from the Today Show, Tik Tok, Saturday Night Live etc. and she only sold 27k SPS and 11k pure sales?? Clearly no one is checking for her or album at all. There’s no excuses for this. Plus the album was discounted on ITunes and Amazon. The album is currently #34 on ITunes. She definitely will NOT be touring. Why didn’t she reschedule her Romance Tour?? Did that flop as well. Smoke and Mirrors.

Most streamed albums on Spotify this week: #1 SOUR @oliviarodrigo #2 Planet Her @DojaCat #3 YHLQMDLG @sanbenito #4 Justice @justinbieber #5 Future Nostalgia @DUALIPA #6 MONTERO @LilNasX #7 Familia @Camila_Cabello #8 Encanto #9 After Hours @theweeknd #10 Fine Line @Harry_Styles

My girl Doja outsold ya stank girl Camicky this week on Billboard with an album released last summer lmaooooooooooooooooooo…please explain the flop *Oprah voice* 🤣☕️🤳🏽

I love Doja because she is a beautiful light skinned girl, unlike that ugly darkie Normonkey.

' src=

All these OLD albums outcharting her. I’m embarrassed for you🤣

' src=

Camila cabello the best forever

You mean flop forever lmao 9k is tragic loooolz

' src=

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A bargain bin album for $5 and still flopped. It increased 2k 😂

The label needs it to increase to 200K. 😂😂They’re cutting their losses. No tour for her

Brandy sold 20K independently. No promo. No Ed. No budget. No multiple videos. No playlist or radio play 😂😂😂😂😂. The true Cinderella

Exactly!! Her delusional fans can celebrate a top 10 album all they want but these numbers are terrible and the label is definitely not celebrating!

' src=

Not even 30k. Lol I don’t have anything against her personaly, but why was everyone saying Justin Timberlake’s last album was a flop again? Because it’s sold over 240k units in the first week like every other overrated Artist. Try harder next time jealous z- singer stans!!!

' src=

Normani fans rejoicing over Camila’s first week sales for her third album, when their fave’s label don’t even have enough faith in her to release her debut. Oh I forgot, she is taking her time to give us something “special” and the flop that is Fair is just a “buzz single”.

Normani could breathe and y’all use that as an excuse for Cawkmila pulling 9k 😭 shut the f*** up ho and enjoy this flop

Stop deflecting 😂 We SO need answers for this flop…TGJ staff needs to have a round table talk about what exactly went wrong *Willow voice* 🤣☕️

I hope Normonkey lightens her skin so she will finally be able to release an album.

' src=

Although the album debuted in the Top 10 she still sold less than 30k with all the promo. This isn’t a good look for her. She was literally everywhere promoting the album and only managed to do 11k in pure sales. She had a big Ed Sheeran feature one of if not the biggest Male Popstar right now. Even Willow was with her on Saturday Night Live performing. Also, she promoted on The Today Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show and a whole concert on Tik Tok 😂😂😂. The album was discounted after the label saw she was about to sell 9k of traditional albums because no one was buying it.

D a m n you would think she would have debuted in the Top 3 and sell at least 50k SPS. There weren’t any big or major releases last week, so therefore she had the perfect opportunity to debut high. Even Olivia’s SOUR and Morgan Wallen are stable in the Top 5. Clearly no one was streaming the album. How do you only sell 27k with all that promotion ?? Now that’s a big head scratcher. Epic must be really mad. What will her second week sales look like??

I’m popping popcorn for EVERYBODY when those second week sales come in lmaooooo🍿

' src=

….after a steady stream of promotion & discounts, lol

We LOVE to see it!!!

Congratulations QUEEN Camila Cabello!

' src=

Yikes !! 11k??

' src=

Dua Lipa reschedule her Future Nostalgia Tour. Why didn’t Camila reschedule her Romance Tour? Was it due to poor ticket sales or is it because Romance flopped?? Will there be a Familia Tour?

' src=

A top 10 album is quite impressive, but I expected a higher position based on the marketing push and guest appearances the last few weeks. There are some great tracks on the new CD, such as Quiet and Pyschofreak, but wonder of it will fall out of the top 10 in next week’s edition.

In 2019, her duet with Shawn Mendes “Señorita” became another number-one hit and was featured on her second album “Romance.” This album reached number three on the Billboard 200 and included the top 20 hit “My Oh My” featuring DaBaby.

Cabello continued her success with Latin pop in her 2022 album “Familia.” The album’s lead single “Don’t Go Yet” and the follow-up “Bam Bam” with Ed Sheeran performed well. “Bam Bam” reached the top five on the Billboard Global 200 making it her highest-charting song on that list.

With billions of streams and “Havana” named the best-selling digital single of 2018 by the IFPI Cabello has earned several awards including two Latin Grammys five American Music Awards and one Billboard Music Award. She also starred as Cinderella in the 2021 film of the same name.

We R Who We R”.

Cabello interpretó temas nuevos como “I LUV IT”, “Twentysomethings” y “June Gloom”.

Taylor Swift praised Charli XCX in a new interview. Here's everything you need to know about their rumored feud.

  • Taylor Swift recently praised Charli XCX in a new interview with New York Magazine.
  • Rumors of a rift between the women were sparked this summer by Charli's song "Sympathy is a Knife."
  • Swift and Charli have a decadelong history as friends, tourmates, and pop-star adversaries.

Taylor Swift reignited stan-war discourse this week by contributing to a New York Magazine cover story about Charli XCX, her previous tourmate and current contender on the pop charts.

"I've been blown away by Charli's melodic sensibilities since I first heard 'Stay Away' in 2011," Swift told the magazine . "Her writing is surreal and inventive, always. She just takes a song to places you wouldn't expect it to go, and she's been doing it consistently for over a decade. I love to see hard work like that pay off."

Swift's praise surprised some of Charli's fans, who've been circulating rumors of a feud between the two musicians since the early-summer release of "Brat," Charli's sixth studio album.

The album's third track, " Sympathy is a Knife ," explores a complicated relationship with a fellow woman in the music industry, who triggers Charli's fears of inadequacy. In " Girl, so confusing " — another fan-favorite on "Brat," whose confirmed muse is Lorde — Charli admits this competitive relationship is largely one-sided, perhaps even imaginary.

"This one girl taps my insecurities / Don't know if it's real or if I'm spiraling," Charli sings in "Sympathy," adding that her fiancé, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, chalks it up to paranoia.

Many fans theorized that "Sympathy" was written about Swift , most likely during her short-lived relationship with Daniel's bandmate Matty Healy .

"Don't wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend's show / Fingers crossed behind my back, I hope they break up quick," Charli sings.

She's also close friends with Healy's current fiancée, Gabbriette Bechtel , and gives her a shout-out in the album's opening track " 360 ," essentially eliminating Bechtel as a "Sympathy" suspect.

Despite the speculation, Charli has made it clear that neither "Girl, so confusing" nor "Sympathy is a Knife" are diss tracks.

"They're really just about how it's so complicated being an artist, especially a female artist, where you are pitted against your peers but also expected to be best friends with every single person constantly," she said in a since-deleted TikTok.

Charli reiterated this position during her interview with New York Magazine, declining to answer direct questions about Swift.

"People are gonna think what they want to think," she told the reporter. "That song is about me and my feelings and my anxiety and the way my brain creates narratives and stories in my head when I feel insecure and how I don't want to be in those situations physically when I feel self-doubt."

However, upon the release of "Brat," Charli's fans were still determined to defend her honor against perceived threats.

Taylor Nation, the social media arm of Swift's PR team, seemed to fuel the feud rumors by announcing six deluxe versions of her latest album, " The Tortured Poets Department ," the same week that "Brat" was released. These variants were UK exclusives, only available to buy in Charli's home country.

The fresh boost of digital downloads pushed "The Tortured Poets Department" back to No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart for a sixth week, while "Brat" debuted at No. 2 . As a result, Charli's fans accused Swift of blocking "Brat" from the top position on purpose.

Meanwhile, in the US, "Brat" debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, lagging far behind Swift's streaming numbers. By comparison, "The Tortured Poets Department" has logged 15 weeks at No. 1 in the US and counting.

But despite Charli's lower chart performance, "Brat" has dominated pop culture this summer with rave reviews, star-studded remixes (including "Girl, so confusing" with Lorde herself), and a cosign from Kamala Harris' presidential campaign .

Charli has indicated that "Brat Summer" is far from over, even teasing an updated version of "Sympathy is a Knife" in her New York Magazine profile, which she said she wrote "three or four weeks ago."

Could Swift and Charli work it out on the remix , as Charli did with Lorde? Here's everything you need to know about their history.

Swift brought Charli onstage in 2015 and recruited her as a tour opener in 2017

To Charli's earlier point, she has found herself pitted against Swift since at least 2014, when both women released new albums: "Sucker" and "1989," respectively.

In reviews and media coverage of her major-label debut, Charli was framed as "taking shots at pop's elite," aiming to "join the ranks of Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Iggy Azalea," who were in the genre's upper echelon (at the time). Both her artistry and sales figures were compared to Swift's , with NPR noting that "Sucker" faced a commercial disadvantage by arriving in the wake of a "massive Taylor Swift album." (Sound familiar?)

The following year, Charli performed a cover of Swift's hit song "Shake It Off" for BBC Radio's Live Lounge. Just a few months later, the two women squashed any lingering hints of tension when Charli made a surprise cameo during the 1989 World Tour.

Even though Charli had recently canceled her own tour dates, she joined Swift onstage in Toronto for a duet of "Boom Clap," Charli's biggest solo hit to date . Swift also shared a video of their performance on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "I LOVE YOU @charli_xcx !!!"

In 2018, Swift upped the anti by recruiting Charli (and Camila Cabello) as openers for the Reputation Stadium Tour.

"I can't wait to see you, can't wait to see them, really excited just about the whole thing in general," Swift told fans in a filmed announcement .

Throughout the tour's global run, Charli and Cabello would often join Swift onstage to perform "Shake It Off."

During an appearance on the British talk show "Sunday Brunch," Charli gushed about Swift as a kind person and "incredible businesswoman."

"She makes us feel, like, so welcome. It feels like a girl gang on tour together. It's really good," Charli said.

Charli angered Swifties by comparing the 'Reputation' tour attendees to children

In 2019, one year after the Reputation Stadium Tour wrapped up, Charli reflected on the experience during an interview with Pitchfork .

"I'm really grateful that [Taylor] asked me on that tour," Charli told the website. "But as an artist, it kind of felt like I was getting up onstage and waving to 5-year-olds."

The comment was widely interpreted as Charli throwing shade at Swift and her fan base, prompting Charli to reiterate her gratitude in a statement shared on social media.

"In the printed version of this much wider conversation, my answers about this tour were boiled down into one kind of weird sentence," Charli wrote. "Leading up to that tour I'd been playing a tonne of 18+ club shows and so to be onstage in front of all ages was new to me and made me approach my performances with a whole new kind of energy."

Charli also said it was "brilliant" and "fun" to perform for Swift's audience, adding, "There is absolutely no shade and only love here."

Since the release of 'Brat,' Charli has condemned fans who start anti-Swift chants at her concerts

According to Billboard, "Brat" achieved the biggest debut week of Charli's career, though some fans were still disappointed when it succumbed to "Poets" on the charts.

When Charli hit the road for a string of "Brat" concerts and DJ sets, she was met with a wave of anti-Swift energy, including the chant "Taylor is dead" from a crowd at Club Zig in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

After videos of the chant circulated on social media, Charli told her fans to stop immediately.

"can the people who do this please stop. online or at my shows," she shared on her Instagram story on June 23, per Billboard . "it is the opposite of what i want and it disturbs me that anyone would think there is room for this in this community. i will not tolerate it."

As the epic hot summer of 2024 draws to a close, there is still plenty of live music to enjoy in the Portland area, and even a few outdoor concerts left. The fall concert season kicks off with proficient singer/songwriter Tori Kelly at Crystal Ballroom and rapper/singer Childish Gambino at Moda Center with support from Willow; the season wraps up this winter with a farewell tour from Cyndi Lauper, a sold-out Billie Eilish concert, and a homecoming show headlining Portland’s MAITA.

Through a special arrangement, if you are purchasing tickets for the first time through Vivid Seats, you can use our special discount promo code “ Oregon20 ″ at checkout to save $20 on orders of $200 or more for the event you plan on attending.

Her new album “TORI . ” feels like a coming of age for the now 31-year-old singer-songwriter. Her stunning eponymous album is some of the best new pop music out, with Kelly delivering a pop vocal that’s unmatched in her class. In addition to early-career hits like “Dear No One,” and “Nobody Love,” fans will be hoping to hear a couple of the covers that helped launch Tori Kelly into superstardom via Youtube. Pulling inspiration from early-2000s producers like Timbaland Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, and acts like Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child, and Missy Elliott, the pop aesthetic leans heavily into R&B territory, with Kelly dabbling in melodic rappishness. The entire nostalgia-driven album sees Kelly putting on an absolute vocal clinic over an array of production that Millennials will find comforting and familiar, resulting in a project that’s easy to consume, with not one song overstaying its welcome. It’s hard to pick a favorite between opening track “Missin U,” which samples “Fill Me In” by Craig David; the Afro-beats-informed “Unbelievable”; the impeccable vocal progression on “Oceans”; the beautifully sung ballad “High Water.”

Childish Gambino performing

Childish Gambino performs at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Friday, June 14, 2019, in Manchester, Tenn. He'll perform at Portland's Moda Center on Sept. 24. Amy Harris/Invision/AP

Childish Gambino & Willow

Childish Gambino (AKA actor Donald Glover) released two albums in 2024: the soundtrack for “Bando Stone and The New World,” and “Atavista,” a reissue of the American rapper’s fourth studio album, “3.15.20.” The former contains the infuriatingly catchy “Little Foot Big Foot,” which has a darkly humorous music video featuring Quinta Brunson. This tour will reportedly be Glover’s final run performing as Childish Gambino, so this may be your last chance to see him get into iconic releases from “Awaken” like “Redbone,” and the deeply soulful “Terrified,” to “This Is America.” Even casual Willow fans are sure to enjoy hearing spiritual tracks from her latest album, “empathogen,” like the calm progression of “Home,” the anxiety-inducing “run!,” the sparkling and mesmerizing “symptom of life,” and the erudite and appropriately emotive “big feelings.” But perhaps the most anticipated Willow song of the night will be the groovy and rhythmic fan favorite “Wait a Minute!”

Billie Joe Armstrong

Singer Billie Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day performs on ABC's "Good Morning America" at Rumsey Playfield/SummerStage on Friday, July 26, 2024, in New York. The band will play a sold-out show at Portland's Providence Park on Sept. 25. Andy Kropa/Invision/AP

As part of Providence Park’s return to concerts for the first time since 2005, Green Day is one of a couple major acts (along with the Foo Fighters in August) that are a part of the stadium’s debut season back in the music industry. In addition to punk mega stars Green Day, special guests The Smashing Pumpkins, as well as Rancid and The Linda Lindas will also rock the stage.

5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, Providence Park; $70-$191, sold out, though some premium suites remain at  timbers.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

Michael Kiwanuka with Brittany Howard

This may be one of the most vibey folk- and roots-rock bills of the season, with British guitarist/singer Michael Kiwanuka headlining and singer/songwriter Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes). Kiwanuka’s star began to soar after his song “Cold Little Heart” became the opening credits theme song to HBO Max’s “Big Little Lies.” His eponymous album “Kiwanuka” is dark, moody and exceedingly enjoyable, giving him ample material for a stellar setlist. Fans will pile onto the Edgefield lawn early to also hear the vocal talents of Brittany Howard as she sings tracks from her 2024 album “What Now,” and gorgeous soulful tunes like “Stay High,” and Goat Head” from her 2019 album “Jaime.” Contemporary folk guitarist and multi-instrumentalistYasmin Williams is opening the show up with a solo performance of her soothing, finger-style guitar work.

Sorry, Outkast fans! This milestone show at The Schnitz is all about hearing André 3000 perform songs from his flute-centric album “New Blue Sun.” After picking up an array of flutes – and and being randomly spotted playing flute in the wild by fans – the resulting album was spiritual, ambient, new-agey jazz. Despite the lack of rap, seeing the prolific hip-hop artist perform just about anything in the regal theater of Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall will no-doubt be a bucket list-worthy event.

Kehlani typically performs at venues like the Crystal Ballroom, so this tour run notably marks her growth into an arena-level act who can command a large crowd. Unassuming concertgoers are soon to find out that the R&B singer/songwriter’s vocal chops are immediately impressive live, as they casually slay ‘90s-R&B-reminiscent songs from her most recent album “While We Wait 2,” like the sultry “When He’s Not There,” the heartfelt “Border,” and the Brandy-reminiscent “S.I.N.G.L.E.”  8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, Moda Center; $55.50-$175, ticketmaster.com . Reflecting back on his decade-plus career, Wale embarks on the “Every Blue Moon Tour” that will celebrate the 15-year anniversary of his debut album “Attention Deficit,” and perform new songs from his forthcoming eighth album, which is due out on Def Jam this fall. Hope to hear other deep cuts like “The Illest B*tch” from his sophomore album “Ambition.”

8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, Roseland Theater, 8 N.W. Sixth Ave.; $32.50-$182.50, roselandpdx.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

Charli XCX & Troye Sivan

Born Charlotte Aitchison, English singer/songwriter Charli XCX is popular among younger fans for her bright and bombastic electronic sonics, her dry, self-aware, and boundary-pushing pop songwriting that straddles the underground and the mainstream world. While songs like “Boom Clap” might not be for everyone, she’s got an impressive portfolio of songs she’s written for other acts: she contributed the hook and bridge to “Fancy” by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, the shouty “I Love It” by Icona Pop, “Señorita,” performed by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes. Charli XCX’s ascent into full mainstream status appears to have begun; her song “Speed Drive” landed on last year’s “Barbie” soundtrack, and thanks to a tweet where the artist endorsed Kamala Harris’ Presidential run by declaring the politician as “brat,” her new album “Brat” has become crystallized in pop-culture history,

Mdou Moctar

For fans of Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Tinariwen, and Kikagaku Moyu, Tuareg rock star Mdou Moctar is all about psychedelic guitar work, also incorporating traditional Tuareg melodic music (Takamba) – and utilizing a stringed instrument called a Ngoni, and the Calabash, a percussion instrument – into the music, along with his fully fleshed out band. “Funeral for Justice” follows up 2021′s epic, heartfelt and cinematic “Afrique Victime.”

Modest Mouse

Active since 1993, Isaac Brock is now the only remaining original member of the band, since drummer Jeremiah Green died from cancer in 2022. The Portland-based band will play three consecutive nights at one of the Portlandiest of venues, Revolution Hall. Three nights in a row this November, fans will congregate inside the old high school-turned-bar venue to hear early songs that brought them mainstream success, like 2004′s “Ocean Breathes Salty” and “Float,” which feels like an emotional season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy,” and 2007′s “Dashboard.”

8 p.m. Friday-Sunday, Nov. 1-3, Revolution Hall, 1300 S.E. Stark St.; $200.50, revolutionhall.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

Sabrina Carpenter

Having gained recognition for appearing in the “Boy Meets World” spinoff “Girl Meets World,” Sabrina Carpenter’s career as a singer/songwriter has been taking the pop world by storm with songs like “ Espresso,” and its witty, cheeky lyrics. There’s more where that came from on other new songs like “Nonsense,” which is absolutely packed with clever wordplay, on pre-heartbreak anthem “Please Please Please,” the delightfully petty “Good Graces,” and the flirty, lust-powered “Bed Chem.”

7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, Moda Center; $185-$1,200, ticketmaster.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

The new album “Quantum Baby” is the second installment of a planned trilogy from Tinashe, following up her 2023 “BB/Ang3l.” In addition to the bass-driven lead single “Nasty,” other stand-out tracks include “Getting No Sleep” and “No Broke Boys.” Thanks to the success of “Nasty,” Tinashe is playing in larger rooms than she ever has before. Whether it’s the first song or the final song on the setlist, the Roseland crowd will be jumpin’ whenever it’s time to hear 2014′s major label debut single “2 On” live. Opening for the “Match My Freak: World Tour” is Raveena, who’ll heat up the crowd with her distinct blend of soft and tender R&B, and ideally songs like “If Only.”

8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, Roseland Theater, 8 N.W. Sixth Ave.; $39.50-$189.50, roselandpdx.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

Cyndi Lauper

This November, septuagenarian pop star Cyndi Lauper comes to Portland to rock the stage one last time. Bringing her “Girls Just Want to Have Fun Farewell Tour” to the Moda Center, she’ll bless Portland-area fans at the top of the holiday season with a nostalgia-powered set that sees her blast through monster pop/dance/new wave hits like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “True Colors,” and all the deeper cuts she and her fans are going to miss in retirement.

8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, Moda Center; $35.50-$995, ticketmaster.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

Billie Eilish

Having grown up right in front of our eyes, the now 22-year-old Billie Eilish’s catalog is pretty deep at this point. The Belieber-turned alt-pop Grammy Award-winning superstar has been making music with her older brother and producer Finneas since their homeschooled beginnings. Eilish’s army of die-hard fans will no-doubt come to the “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour” dressed in their best Billie-esque tomboy core, expecting to hear integral early tracks like 2017′s “Ocean Eyes” (you know, that Soundcloud upload that made her famous), as well as 2019′s playful, upbeat and bass-forward major single “Bad Guy” (which made Eilish the youngest artist to ever have a song top the Billboard Hot 100). Other setlist gems will include the emotive half acoustic/half pop rock breakup anthem “Happier Than Ever,” as well as the somber “Everything I Wanted,” and “Barbie’s” epiphany song “What Was I Made For,” which won Eilish her second Oscar.

7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, Moda Center; sold out. Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub , Seat Geek , Ticketsqueeze .

Fronted by Japanese American singer/songwriter Maria Maita-Keppeler, stalwart Portland-based indie rock band MAITA released their highly anticipated third studio album, want , in July. Highlights include the deeply yearning lead single “Girl at the Bar,” in which Keppeler fantasizes about fixing her relationship by becoming the titular stranger. In addition to getting to hear the majority of the new album live for the first time, showgoers will come to hear tracks from MAITA’s albums “Best Wishes” and “I Just Want to Be Wild For You,” which was made during the pandemic and mines dissociation.

8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, Mississippi Studios, 3939 N. Mississippi Ave.; $18, mississippistudios.com . Also: Vivid Seats , Stub Hub .
