From St Malo, you can travel by ferry to Jersey with Condor Ferries with the high-speed ferry Condor Voyager in just 1 hour and 25 minutes in peak season. This ferry sails to the largest city of St Helier.

The ferry from St Malo sails on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in peak season. One of the alternatives is to travel from St Malo via Guernsey to Jersey . This trip will take you a bit longer: 3 hours and 30 mins . In peak season, there are 6 weekly direct ferries from St Malo to Jersey and vice versa.

Extra day trips to St Malo included in Condor's 2023 timetable

ADDITIONAL day trips to St Malo from Jersey have been included within Condor’s 2023 schedule.

The company has confirmed its new timetable, which covers its sailings from 5 January through to 31 October and can be found online at condorferries.co.uk

As well as continuing with its direct services to the UK and various other routes, the schedule includes additional day trips to St Malo from Jersey.

Condor’s chief executive, John Napton, said that the timetable was designed to bring travel confidence back to the Island after the pandemic.

‘This year, our schedule contributed to a successful summer for the local tourism and hospitality industries and that would not have been possible with our previous timetable.

‘We have had discussions with industry partners and tried, wherever possible, to accommodate feedback including the Island’s sporting, motor and other events, such as Siam Rugby, travel to the Island Games in Guernsey and the Weekender Festival next year,’ he added.

The schedule also takes into account non-sailing days that are used as a contingency in case of weather disruption.

• Number one tip whilst in Guernsey If you need a taxi, I recommend pre booking as far in advance as possible as there are a reliable but small amount serving the Island. If you do travel with your car, although its free to park you still need a parking disc to display the time you arrived, don’t get caught out!
• Is Guernsey good for a holiday? Guernsey is a beautiful place for a holiday. It's convenient, you can take your car and discover stunning beaches, historical landmark and the charming streets of St Peter Port. We partner with lots of hotels in Guernsey, including family-friendly hotels, hotels by the beach and hotels with pools - perfect for the summer holidays or a short weekend break!
• Favourite activities? Wandering St Saviours Reservoir Millennium Walk is great, and going to Fermain Valley which is one of the best beaches in the Channel Islands. The beach is fantastic for swimming or admiring the bay from the café that sits next to the beach.
• Favourite restaurant to visit? So tough to choose as Guernsey has many of my favourite places. Red Restaurant in St Peter Port was amazing, the best steak I’ve had in the UK!
• Best hidden gem of the Island? Lihou Island, which is walkable on low tide. It’s an amazing little place where you can feel away from everything but only a 20 minute walk away back to the Guernsey coast.
