Since we live near the mountains in Utah, we find ourselves constantly doing hikes or roadtrips through the mountains. People often ask us why we moved here and the biggest reason (besides having family here) is that there is so much to do outside and in the mountains. People here are very health-conscious and physically active. We are also passionate about having an active/outdoor lifestyle and have really loved being a part of the larger community of Salt Lake City. • We do find that dressing for the occasion here is all based off necessity. Since the weather can fluctuate quite a bit between the altitude changes of being in the valley vs. being in the mountains, we always layer up by starting with a base layer Tee. We have collected our favorite couple Instagrammers that not only inspire us through their photography, but with their experiences as well. It is hard to pick just ten couples, as we have met and contacted so many couple bloggers throughout the last few years.

We love traveling and finding out about new places to explore. The best is getting inspiration from other travel bloggers. We have seen many blogs about the best travelers to follow on Instagram but as a couple we prefer following fellow couple bloggers!

4. That Golden Life

Derek agreed to this crazy travel adventure after I was diagnosed with a rare eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa (it’s no biggie, it’s life). Because my eyesight is slowly, but gradually going away, we decided to explore every nook and cranny this beautiful world has to offer. So we want to SEE the world before I can’t SEE the world anymore.

We are outdoor enthusiasts with two golden retrievers, who were the inspiration for our blogs name. We have really loved sharing our adventures with the world & love all of the people we have been able to connect with through this fun journey!

5. Travel to Blank

We are Steven and Jaz of Travel To Blank. They met in Boulder as they both attended CU. Both born with a love for travel, began a two month road trip across the United States. Since then the traveling has not stopped, whether it is weekend getaways or month long excursions. We thought we would have to work for years to save up to travel. We realized freelance and remote work allows us to travel the world with no worries.

6. Two Scots Abroad

Gemma and Craig are full-time workers with a life long travel habit. These two Scots have recently returned from a 17-month career break to travel the Americas and Europe where they hiked to Machu Picchu, skied at Canada’s Whistler and eloped in Austin, Texas.

Meet Corina and Greg a 30 something married couple from NYC. Corina originally from a small town in Oregon found her love for travel at the age of 16    on a trip to France. Greg originally from Hong Kong started traveling at a very young age with his parents and never stopped. 6 years ago after knowing each other for only 3 weeks Corina and Greg went on their first international trip together. Since then they have traveled all over the world, have been to 6 continents together and plan to knock off their last one (Africa) this year.

Looking for some super intriguing  traveling couples  to scroll and stalk? We have gone deep into Instagram and found some of the best travel couples Instagrams out there right now! As we all know the Instagram algorithm is an untamed beast that does what it likes, so the Gram probably hasn’t shown you any of these guys yet. These couples are not out there faking cool photos or giving you unrealistic goals. They are traveling the world on their own terms and doing it bloody right! Together Alexe & Lucas are Almortravel, currently living in Belgium. During the week they work full-time in khaki camouflage (the army). In weekends they love to discover new places all over the world. Together they have been to over 10 destinations and they are planning more in the very near future. Their ultimate dream is to become Master Divers and go work abroad in search of some infinite sunshine. Lucas has lived in Brazil and the Dominican Republic. Alexe had already traveled to the Philippines, Morocco, Egypt, Tunis, and numerous places in Europe. Just recently they started their Instagram account to meet other travel couples and to keep an online photo album of their best pictures. Together Alexe & Lucas are Almortravel, currently living in Belgium. During the week they work full-time in khaki camouflage (the army). Always Around The World

Kelly and Nanet, just two ordinary girls that left everything behind to fulfill their dream: Travel the world! Since May 2017 they are on the road. The travel bug caught them and they never want to stop traveling anymore. They avoid South America as long as possible, because they are afraid they can’t leave from there anymore once they arrive. In the beginning they had a very tight budget, which limited them in their explorations, but since they work online they really live their ultimate life in freedom and traveling has become even more fun! Their best destination so far was Iceland, where they cycled 3000km during 3 months. The adventure was there and the nature is stunning! Rocio & Julian are the founders of  Apenoni . They are a Mexican/German couple traveling the world and documenting their adventures. After leaving their 9-5 job-life behind back in 2015 they decided to go on a long-term, half-year backpack-travel across Southeast Asia. They spent their last 2 years building up their business as well as exploring new destinations including the city-life of L.A, the chocolate-lover’s heaven of Brussels, the remote-island life of Madeira, the majestic cities and deserts of Rajasthan as well as an insane time over at the World Cup in Russia. Annagreta (Austria), and Tom (Belgium) are the Backpackingcouple. They met in December 2014 in Guatemala. It took them a year to meet again but since then they are sharing their passion of exploring the world. Besides Central America, they travelled through Thailand, Sri Lanka and several European cities. They love hiking, nature, minimalistic traveling and watching sunrises. In April 2018 their son was born and they limited traveling down to roadtrips and short flights. 2019 will be their year! First with Austria in January and Vietnam in February. Bonnie Clyde Worldwide

Clayton and Janelle began their  “Let’s Get Wild”  journey after having a Texas wedding in April 2018. They bought one-way plane tickets to Costa Rica and brought their two cats along. Applying Clayton’s knowledge in advertising and marketing and Janelle’s in biology and foreign languages, they created  Bonnie Clyde Worldwide  to document their wild experiences around the world and show people how to afford travel. Together Clayton and Janelle have hiked the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, lived as locals in Costa Rica for three months, and explored bat caves in Mexico. David and Angela are a married couple from the United States who share their budget-savvy secrets to affording a life of travel on their blog the  Dang Travelers . Their most recent adventures included a three-month road trip across the United States via Route 66 then exploring 15 states in the eastern section of the U.S. in their minivan turned campervan. Jessica is a cat-loving psychologist from the United States and Laurence is a whisky-loving landscape photographer from the UK. Constance Panda and her boyfriend, Jimmy Bear share their adventures around the world in food, travel, and architecture. They are based in the San Francisco and have previously explored the UK, France, Spain, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Croatia. A nomadic couple from the UK. Christie, an ex-legal secretary, and Lewis, a jack of all trades. They met on the infamous mobile app named Tinder in September 2014. They sold everything they owned and headed to Bangkok in November 2015. They then went on to spend four months in South East Asia before embarking on a working holiday visa in New Zealand. Following New Zealand, it was time for a return to Asia, their all-time favourite continent and cultural paradise. Lewis and Christie have been travelling for over two years without a return ticket, although they do have a visit back to the UK planned next month. Travel B4 Settle

Matilde and Miguel launched into their big adventure in November 2017. They bought a one-way ticket trip to India and stayed in Asia for 8 months! They built  TravelB4Settle  and now they spend their time traveling the world and working on their laptops. They claim not to fit in society’s expectations, as they always knew there is more to life than the regular 40h work week with a 2 week break in the sun per year. They are passionate about traveling… Nature, culture, food, people! They always dreamed to travel the world so they managed to do it before actually settle to build family and so on. Their plans in 2019 is to continue exploring this world while inspiring and helping everyone that has the same dream!

Trip Gourmets

Sarah (British) and Thomas (Swiss) are the  Trip Gourmets  a travel blogging couple who met six years ago and discovered a mutual love of travel and food. From October 2017, they have taken the plunge to become full-time travellers and digital nomads! In January 2018 they headed to India. They explored the magnificent forts of Rajasthan, to the legendary Taj Mahal in Agra to the beaches of Goa and on to the cozy Backwaters of Kerala. In 2018 they have based themselves in Chiang Mai,  they plan to travel to Laos, a second visit to the foodie paradise of Vietnam, a brief return to Europe to take in Switzerland, Italy and the UK. To cap it off they will be visiting North America for the first time.

Trippin Turpins

In May 2014  Trippin Turpins  began their journey aboard SV Thorfinn, their 45 foot sailing yacht. They sold most of their belongings with the intention of living aboard their boat for many years to come. Currently, their plan is to sail around the world. Their sailing so far has taken them along the south, east and north coasts of Australia, into Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong. They have also taken planes and automobiles to visit Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, China, Australia and New Zealand. In 2019 they plan to sail amidst the Thai Islands for the first few months of the year. Then they are off to discover Europe. Zurich is their first stop and then they will be sailing between Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia. What the rest of the year holds is anybody’s guess!

Two Wandering Soles

In 2014, Katie and Ben quit their full-time jobs and set off on a 3-month adventure in South America that never really ended. They then moved to South Korea to teach English and did some house sitting for free rent. They spent the next year traveling starting in Southeast Asia, India and Nepal where they trekked to Everest Base Camp, from there it was off to Eastern Europe. For the summer of 2017, they converted campervan, named him “Vinny”, and toured the Western United States.Afterwards they moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand to focus on full time on their adventurous and sustainable travel blog,  Two Wandering Soles . Katie and Ben are always up for adventure and a good cup of coffee (or wine!).) For the remainder of 2018, Katie and Ben are planning to hit the road again traveling around the southern islands of Thailand and Central America.

We Did It Our Way

Carine and Derek are from Montreal, like typical Canadians, they met during a hockey party in 2010. Their beloved Habs (the Montreal Canadians) had finally made it to the playoffs. Although the Canadians run didn’t last, Carine and Derek’s relationship did! After 5 years of dating, they got married in September 2015. They were set to follow the typical routine of life, but one day, Carine had a “crazy” thought. She asked: “What if we take our savings, and go travel for a year?” Knowing Derek, she never expected his answer to be “Hell yeah! Let’s do it!” And the rest is history! What was set to be only a year turned into a 15-month trip. Without a set plan, they went where the wind (and the cheapest flights) took them. They ended up traveling to 28 different countries in Asia, Oceania, the Caucasus, and Europe. They learned to scuba dive in Thailand, and swam with a whale shark. They drove a campervan through New Zealand, covering over 4,500 km in 21 days. 2019 is still a mystery for them. They don’t have much planned. One thing is clear, their travels have only just begun. There is so much more of the world they want to see.

We Travel Together

Monica and Jon whoy started their adventure and travel blog  We Travel Together  in 2011, now close to hitting the big 50, not in age but in how many countries they have visited together. They love road tripping. One trip in their visited Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Another big road trip includes driving over 20000km around Australia in a campervan. Together they have been to Africa twice visiting in total 9 countries and having some awesome wildlife experience; spent time with mountain gorillas in Uganda, been chased by a hippo in Botswana, and in Tanzania they were that close to a wild lioness that they could have touched her. In 2018 they started off the year on one of the northernmost settlements in the world on an island called Spitsbergen, which belongs to Norway, and they got to experience Polar Nights. In February they started their three week long journey through SE Asia.

1000 Flights

We all know that couple travel is not always the picture-perfect scene of a couple walking hand in hand on a white sandy beach, or staring lovingly at the sea atop Santorini. We want you to meet the Fighting Couple of  1000Fights . They share the ups as well as the downs of couple travel, and add in a dash of helpful relationship advice. They are one of the most “real” couples out there. The Fighting Couple met in 1st grade and have been fighting ever since. Together they have been to nearly 50 countries on six continents. So there’s no better time to dream a little by looking at insanely stunning travel photos that bring beautiful destinations to the forefront. Over the past few years, bloggers and influencers have boomed in popularity, yet only few succeed in truly inspiring others. Dan and I are a husband and wife travel blogging team, who are a part of a wonderful world of couple travel bloggers.

There are SO MANY couples who travel around the globe – near and far to where they live – every day, every week, month, and year. We're so proud to be a part of the traveling couples community.

HoneyTrek, Anne and Mike

Anne and Mike aren't just amazing travel bloggers who inspire us to go to locations we wouldn't have thought of in ways we wouldn't have thought of. (Aka: a camper!) But they're INCREDIBLY warm, welcoming, and friendly people in the travel community.

Their books, Ultimate Journeys for Two and Comfortably Wild , are the kind you need to buy printed copies of to have on your shelf or coffee table. (We should know – we have them!) This way, when you're sitting on the couch and watching tv thinking, “Man, I need to get off my ass and explore,” they're just an arm's length away to grab for inspiration.

Anne and Mike don't participate in any “holier than thou” stuff even though their travel resumes, so to speak, would certainly allow them a few bragging rights.

It's extra nice they're so down-to-Earth because they're a little bit famous too! Proof: Go behind the scenes of their NATIONAL (yes, national!) Microsoft commercial . NBD. (Riiiggghttttt…..)

They're inspiring and RELATABLE.

Bobo and Chichi, Megan and Scott

We were in awe of Megan and Scott's technical skills, writing and ability to connect with others from the first time we met the couple known as “Bobo and Chichi” on the interwebs. And then we met them in person and it was magic!

We adore them and whether we're talking on Facebook, or meeting up during non-pandemic-times in NYC, they're always at the top of our list for who we want to see and keep in touch with.

Their sense of humor? Resonate with us. Their kid-free, city-dwelling lifestyle? Also resonates. Their quirkiness? Resonates with us.

After Megan and Scott met in California and started dating, they moved to South Korea to pursue a dream of living abroad. (We had no idea Korea has so many love holidays until they educated us !) And they've been helping destinations and brands communicate their stories ever since in the most awe-inspiring ways.

They started a niche site during the pandemic, like us. (Their NYC site, Your Brooklyn Guide , is to our cruise niche site, Sometimes Sailing ). And they are always inspiring us to think outside the box, whether they know it or not.

Their video quality is sick . And I don't use that 90s term lightly.

Justin Plus Lauren, Lauren and Justin (of course)

This Canadian couple is as sweet as sugar (um, hello – they're Canadian!) and they write about vegan travel as well. The title of their blog literally says Adventure + Kind travel. But not just to humans….to the Earth and its environment as well. ( Save the planet !)

We know their blog is providing valuable inspiration to couples traveling as vegans and to everyone who wants to be a more eco-conscious traveler. And we don't know a lot of people who love the Earth who don't want to be kinder to it.

We love warm weather but their post about visiting Niagara Falls during winter had us wanderlusting for a winter trip north to Buffalo…and across the border to the Canadian side of the falls.

Lauren is also ever-inspiring with her niche site, Ontario Hiking . It's quickly become a leading authority to help people safely hike this Canadian province.

Wanderlust Marriage, Bell and Alex

Not only does this couple travel the world together, but they met while they were traveling. (At a hostel in Bruges, Belgium, to be precise.) How's that for a surefire way to know if the person you're meeting is cool with international travel or not?

Bell is Australian and Alex is American. If they're not traveling the world they can be found on the east coast of the USA planning their next adventure. While I always want to be with Dan the truth is that we travel separately once in a while, as do Alex and Bell. It's 100% healthy for a couple and their intriguing “ Does solo travel in marriage make you a bad spouse? ” article reminds us of this.

They've helped us grow as fellow couple travel bloggers in so many ways. We meet up with them whenever we can, whether it was in Amsterdam when our schedules overlapped during travels in 2019, or at TBEX (a travel conference), or online in the same travel forums.

We adore them and they're always inspiring us.

Coleman Concierge, Jenn and Ed

Sometimes the things that most inspire us are the things we wouldn't really do ourselves. Like planning a trip solely based on where we can mountain bike. Or cycle through a city's trails. And that's just one reason Jenn and Ed Coleman inspire us.

Though Dan and I aren't divers, their Scuba diving blog posts often have us wondering if we should throw on an oxygen tank and dip below the surface on our next coastal vacation. (Don't worry, we know it's not that simple to learn how to Scuba dive.)

They're our couple travel blogger friends who have transplanted to the south on more than one move or occasion, like us, and who we can joyfully discuss the everyday minutiae of blogging with us too.

They do quite a bit of freelance writing as well, like when Ed shared how strategically saving money from his full-time job allows them to travel the world, on Insider. Or Jenn shared expert tips to instantly improve your ski game on Explore magazine's site.

Once Upon a Journey, Roxanne and Maartje

This Dutch lesbian couple inspires us whenever we open Instagram.

They're the best couple travel bloggers on Instagram in our eyes (@onceuponajourney), if you define that as a traveling pair who is always posting inspiring content with both partners in the photos. They really rock it. Seriously.

Warning: they're adorable and so in love! It's really too cute. And their photography is colorful and exceptional, to boot, which we love.

Check out the cool photography on their post about visiting a Bubble Hotel in Iceland together. And explore their entire Instagram feed while you're at it. You'll quickly go down a rabbit hole exploring weeks and years of their content.

Did we mention they're in The Netherlands? (We're Netherlands obsessed !)

Hey! Dip Your Toes In, Eulanda and Omo

Eulanda and Omo have inspired us for years. We somehow came across this London-based couple very early on in our couple travel blogging journey (which isn't hard to believe – they're everywhere on social media and in the travel blogging world) and they've been a steadfast inspiration ever since.

They live in the UK, though she's from the US and he's from Lagos. One day, Dan and I hope to live in Europe for a while too!

They are leaders in the travel industry, speaking at conferences, doing freelance writing and inspiring us with the great content on their blog. Not to mention, they look so cool in their photos! (They say they're an everyday kind of couple on their about page , which we agree with from everything we know about them and have learned over the years. But every photo they take still looks like it's ready for a magazine!)

If we ever meet in person (which will happen one day) I know we'll bond over a shared love of food and trying new cuisines. I'm sure Eulanda and I will gush over a love of southern favorites , like shrimp ‘n grits, how fabulous Shonda Rhimes's book was, and relating to their Year of Yes , and be lifelong friends. 🙂

The 22 Best Instagram Travel Accounts To Inspire You

Instagram is simple, it’s visual and it creates a quick emotional impact! It’s also a great way to discover new places around the world. No wonder I’m always seeking the best Instagram travel accounts to follow!

Even though I despise the direction Instagram is going, with self-proclaimed influencers spreading like wildfire ( beautypreneurs is a thing now…) I confess I do spend a significant amount of time there .

Sometimes double tapping cat videos. Sometimes stalking my friends. But I’m especially interested in new travel inspiration. And now I’m sharing them with you (the travel content, not the cats).

On my last night in Mandalay, I had just left the Sandamuni Pagoda when I came across these young Buddhist nuns draped in pink. I climbed Mandalay Hill into the sunset and who knows where they ended up. It is amazing how such disparate lives can pass in a flash…and how we smile at each other in our shared humanity. How to Become a Travel Instagram Influencer: 7 Secrets for Success

Travel instagram accounts have inspired people from all over the globe to set out on adventures and explore new cultures.

These nomadic influencers partner with brands in an infinite number of ways. They travel the world and create gorgeous content in exchange for free gear, trips and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. In fact, influencers are collaborating with many of those brands right here on Perlu !

Seems like a dream job, right? That’s why so many people want to know how to become a travel blogger on instagram.

To help you get started, we’ll reveal some inside tips from top travel influencers so you, too, can earn a living while working with fun brands and exploring the world! Read on to discover 7 tips to start your own travel Instagram account with a splash.

1. Start with a Smart Username

Don’t get too fancy here. Avoid using confusing symbols or spellings in your username. We suggest either use your actual name (for authenticity) or a travel-inspired moniker.

Whatever username you select, keep it short and sweet. And if you’re on other social media platforms or have a blog or website, be sure your username is consistent throughout your brand touchpoints. Users will jump from your Instagram to your blog to your Facebook group and back again, so consistency is key.

If you can make your username and/or brand memorable and “ownable,” that is gold.

For example, travel blogger Lesley Murphy was able to tie-in her name and her favorite topic of discussion with “ The Road Les Traveled .” (Get it, “Les?”) Her website is TheRoadLesTraveled.com (“ownable”) and her Instagram account is her actual name (authenticity).

Make it real, authentic and ownable.

2. Find Your Focus + Your Voice

You aren’t the world’s first travel Instagram influencer, but don’t let that intimidate you. There are plenty of ways to stand out in your niche , no matter how oversaturated it feels.

What makes you unlike any other travel Instagram influencer is, well…you. You have your own voice, your own personality, your own likes and dislikes.

Better yet, if you have hobbies outside of travel, cross-pollinate your passions to make your Instagram account truly unique. Anthony Bourdain, chef and travel documentarian, combined his three favorite passions: food, travel, and meeting new people. This cross-pollination made him one of the most beloved and influential celebrities in the travel world.

So what else do you love? Fashion? Sustainability? Food? Numchucks table tennis ? (Yes, it’s a thing.)

Christina Kantzavelos of BuenQamino loves travel and food – and she has celiac disease. 3. Learn to Take Good Photos

Since Instagram is a visual platform, good photos are essential. Notice we said “good” photos, not “professional” photos. You’re not Thomas Havel , professional outdoor and adventure photographer – and that’s okay!

There’s no need to drop thousands of dollars on a camera. You probably have the perfect camera in your hand already – on your smartphone. Instead, why not spend significantly less $$$ on an iPhone photography course ? Or better yet, hit up YouTube for some free pointers.

One thing you’ll notice about a lot of successful travel Instagrammers is that they have a solid aesthetic – in other words, their Instagram has a theme that makes their feed look beautifully coordinated.

A theme isn’t necessary, but if you want one, start figuring out what kind of aesthetic you’re going for. Light and summery? Dark and moody? Earthy and neutral? Bright and minimal?

“I also utilized a theme, either a color palette or a place or something that when people looked at my entire account versus just one photo, that it looked interesting and pleasing,” says Perlu member Cacinda Maloney of Points and Travel . “Many IGers put the same filter on all their photos, which works for some, but I don’t do this, as I like bright photos for some themes and less for others depending on the location.”

Start researching the best editing apps such as Lightroom, VSCO and Snapseed. Test them all out until you find the one that works best for you. If you find yourself struggling to create filters and presets you love or a consistent feed, check out sites like Creative Market , where Instagrammers and photography experts alike create packs of presets for people just like you! And ask other travel Instagrammers what their favorite tools and resources are.

“Everyone knows how important it is to use great quality photographs on a travel Instagram account,” says Perlu member Dana Freeman of Dana Freeman Travels . “The old adage ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ has never been truer. However, these days, with so many travel Instagram accounts it is more important than ever you post authentic photos. Followers want to be inspired to travel to the destination that you are sharing. They won’t be able to do that if they can’t actually picture themselves there.”

No matter how much or how little you edit your photos, remember that authenticity is key. The majority of your time should be spent finding and telling stories and interacting with your audience.

4. Engage Your Audience!

“Engagement is key,” says Christina of BuenQamino. “Responding and interacting with your audience through comments, stories, messages, etc. is quite impactful. It lets us know you’re not a bot, or a person hired to just post and do the bare minimum.”

Engagement makes you appear approachable and authentic. When you aren’t creating stories or telling stories, take time out of your day—every day—to interact with your audience.

Better yet, set aside time during each day for your audience. Half an hour may be all you need. It will pay dividends faster than most any other technique you can implement.

Reply to comments and DMs (even the negative ones, if you want). Ask your audience questions. However, don’t be a “askhole: a person who asks for advice, yet always does the opposite of what they were told.” Involve your audience and let them participate. For example, you could use the Q&A feature on Instagram to ask your audience where you should travel next.

“Engage, engage, engage,” Christina says. “Did I mention engagement?”

To create an even stronger connection, give your audience more than they expect. Not only should you show great photos – give them travel tips.

How do you find cheap flights? What airlines are the best? How do you find your rooms – hotels? Airbnbs? Word of mouth? What are your favorite travel apps? What are your best budget tips?

Your content tells your story, yes, but the more you help your followers, the more loyal they will become.

“You also need to engage, comment and like, other photos within your genre,” says Cacinda of Points and Travel. One great way to do that is with Perlu ! Head over to the profiles of fellow travel influencers, give them a follow, and then head to their Instagram profiles and follow them there, too. This sets you up for amazing collaboration opportunities.

5. Use Relevant Travel Hashtags

This tip may seem like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised at the mistakes even veterans make.

100 million photos and videos are shared on Instagram every day, most of them using hashtags, and that number is conservative. So choose your hashtags wisely. Find a happy medium with hashtags that are popular enough that people are actually searching for them, but not so popular that your photo quickly gets pushed down by other posts.

Obviously, #travel is No. 1, but that means millions of people are using that hashtag. You won’t stand out. You may get found by a few people via that hashtag, but the chances of really growing your followers through #travel are slim.

So research other travel-related hashtags. Check out the hashtags Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler use. Piggyback their hashtags to grab their eyeballs. Some companies such as Atalanta create branded hashtags (#atalantaworld) that travel instagram accounts can use for the chance to get featured on their Instagram. Talk about a sweet way to grow your audience fast.

#blogtravel, #culturetrip, #travelwriter are all gathering thousands of followers, while at the same time appealing to a narrower audience. A family going to Disney World could use #travel, which is useless if you’re, say, an international travel writer. #travelwriter may be a better option.

Consider using location-specific posts, too. And while you’re at it – geotags!

Instagram allows users to search by location, so when they search for places you’ve visited, BOOM – they find you.

Activity-specific posts help too. And regional-specific hashtags. The better you define the content, the more likely you are to receive the perfect set of eyeballs. You could even tag restaurants, hotels and businesses you visit on your trip. Who knows – they may pay you to come back!

Our final word of advice: create your very own travel-related hashtag. Make one that is specific to you – one that defines you and helps your followers find you. Then, use that hashtag consistently so your followers come to expect it. They may even start using it, thus leading their followers back to you.

6. Use Instagram Stories + Instagram Live

You have many tools at your disposal. The trick is to amplify your brand as efficiently – and cost-effectively – as possible without getting lost in the crowd.

Here’s a great start: utilize Instagram Stories and Instagram Live to the very best of your abilities like Stephanie White of Stephanie White Travels .

“On Instagram stories, I love to promote my blog posts and latest Instagram posts to increase my engagement,” Stephanie says.

Instagram newbies are often so excited about entering the social space, they clutter their feed with post after post. But remember – quality trumps quantity. So there’s no reason to exhaust yourself by editing 5 photos and writing 5 captions every day. One really good, authentic post a day (or even just a few a week) can have a greater impact than multiple mediocre posts a day.

“When I first started on IG in 2014, I was posting photos four times a day starting at 9 AM,” says Cacinda of Points and Travel. “Once I reached 20K followers, I slowed down to one time a day at 9 am EST.”

On the other hand, when you’re traveling, there are a ton of sites and experiences you’ll probably want to post about. If you’re visiting Cairo, you may be tempted to post a photo of the pyramids and the Nile and the inside the pyramids and the Airbnb you’re staying at and your stroll through the local markets and…well, everything.

But that could lead to dozens of photos. That’s where Instagram Stories comes in.

Instagram stories allows you to post more content without overwhelming your audience’s feed. You can even utilize polls and Q&As within Instagram Stories.

Passengers aboard a British Airways flight on Tuesday were bombarded by a lewd scene as a man and woman engaged in a heavy petting session beneath “a scarf.”

“But it was quite obvious, as an adult, what they were doing,” 26-year-old passenger, Farrah, reported to South West News Service

A packed plane including children reportedly endured several minutes of the couple “constantly at it” during the early morning flight between London and Dublin, with one traveler catching their romp on camera.

“I was turning to look at my brother every time I was speaking, and then I saw a lot of sort of vigorous movement in the other seats on the other side,” said Farrah, whose mother was also in tow. “It was very blatant. She was constantly — for 15 to 20 minutes of the flight — just constantly at it with the guy.”

“When they got told to put their seat belts on, it was very obvious that he was zipping himself back up and putting everything back in,” she told South West News Service. “It was just disgusting to be honest.”

Farrah also described kids “running up and down the aisles” during the roughly one-hour flight.

“They just carried on, which was shocking because there were children on the plane,” she continued. “A couple of them looked like five or six, and then maybe there were a couple that looked like they were eight or nine.”

The aircraft, a cramped Airbus A320, was too small to escape the raucous.

“We had about 38 minutes of the flight time left when I noticed it. It was quite embarrassing for me to be sat with my brother and having to witness that,” she said. “It was one of the smaller planes, making it a lot closer than the bigger planes.”

A spokesperson from British Airways told SWNS in a statement, “Our cabin crew colleagues were not alerted to any issue on board. Had they been informed, they would have taken the appropriate steps to address it.”

Alyssa Milano and her husband, David Bugliari, enjoyed a romantic couples getaway with friends at a lavish $3,000-a-night suite in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The “Charmed” actress and two other couples escaped to Nobu Los Cabos Residences’ extravagant, 3-bedroom Sakyü suite, an insider tells Page Six.

“Couples trip to #nobuloscabosresidences. Ummm. This place is absolute perfection,” Milano wrote on Instagram Tuesday along with several photos from her vacation. “For long term stay, a romantic getaway or a family focused vacation. Highly recommend.”

She added that the hospitality made her feel “comfortable” and she raved about the “next level” food and “yummy” cocktails.

“We are here with all our couples best friends and I can’t stop smiling. #travel #romanticgetaway,” she said.

We’re told Milano was seen “enjoying downtime” in the private suite, which boasts a personal pool, jacuzzi, private gym, massage suite, barbecue area, garden views, and round-the-clock concierge service.

The opulent accommodations also feature bathrooms with open showers, double vanities and traditional Onsen teak soaking tubs for ultimate relaxation.

There is also a gourmet chef’s kitchen with updated appliances, a chic living room, a spanning dining space and sleek, modern bedrooms featuring plush bedding and soothing neutral tones.

“The contemporary Japanese minimalism creates an ambiance of serenity and tranquility for ultimate relaxation,” the hotel’s website states.

Other fun fixtures include a gorgeous terrace, pool table, and several flatscreen televisions.

“Alyssa and her husband had a fantastic time with the staff, interacting with the private butlers in the cabanas, etc.,” the insider shares. “The group of couples spent most of the time poolside, taking in the adults-only infinity pool, and said they indulged in the super hospitable service.”

We hear the “Who’s the Boss?” alum and her group dined on a delicious lunch at Nami Beach Club. They also indulged in oyster ravioli, farrotto beef and almond hummus at the on-site Muna Restaurant, which offers Mediterranean-style cuisine with a Pacific twist.

An insider also tells us that Milano went for some “pampering sessions” at the resort’s Esencia Spa.

While unwinding in the luxurious wellness facility, Milano reveled in the outdoor hydrotherapy garden, which features steam and sauna areas, an outdoor shower, a cabana jacuzzi and a hydrotherapy pool.

Milano shared several glimpses of her magical trip on social media including a sweet selfie with her husband as they soaked in their private hot tub.

In the cute image, Milano wore a busty $148 one-piece bathing suit by Cosita Linda Beachwear.

Milano also shared a photo with one of her gal pals as they soaked up some sun by the large pool overlooking the beach. The actress wore blue low-rise cargo pants and a cropped T-shirt and was holding a chilled red cocktail garnished with sage leaf.

All three ladies also matched in monogrammed tiger-print pajama sets with their respective husbands for a silly photo opp inside their stunning suite.

Texas couple welcomes identical quadruplet girls: 'Holy moly!'

Doctors put the odds of having identical quadruplets at about one in 15 million — which makes Mercedes and Jonathan Sandhu very special. The couple in Texas welcomed four identical girls on May 1. 

Hannah Grace, Lucy Marie, Rebecca Claire, and Petra Anne were delivered via cesarean section at 29 weeks gestation. The smallest was Petra, who weighed in at 2 pounds, 7 ounces, while Hannah, the largest, was born at 2 pounds, 13 ounces.

Mercedes, 34, and Jonathan, 37, who are both engineers, are also parents of Luke, 3, and Aaron, 18 months.

Mercedes’s third pregnancy came as a surprise.

“So we weren’t trying by any means, but we were excited. We loved the idea of giving our boys another sibling,” Mercedes tells  TODAY.com . “But when we found out there were four … Holy moly!” 

“Holy moly!” Jonathan agrees.

There are roughly  72 documented cases of spontaneous identical quadruplets in medical history.  Spontaneous means that the babies were conceived without reproductive assistance. 

DNA testing confirmed that the Sandhu sisters are identical, but Jonathan says the family is waiting for a final placenta examination to be 100% certain. 

Mercedes couldn’t believe her eyes when four sacs appeared on the ultrasound screen.

Mercedes was just seven weeks into her pregnancy when she says “four little blobs” appeared on the ultrasound screen. 

“Since it was my third pregnancy, I told Jonathan that he didn’t have to come to my appointment. I was like, ‘There will be plenty of scans,’” she recalls. “So I’m there without him, and I’m laughing and then I’m crying. I’m a little bit hysterical. And my doctor goes, ‘Let’s call your husband!’”

Jonathan thought Mercedes was playing a practical joke on him.

“He kept asking, ‘Are you serious?’” she recalls. The news began to sink in when Mercedes’ OB-GYN began explaining the risks of carrying quadruplets. 

“I tried not to think about the negative outcomes too much because that doesn’t do you any good,” Mercedes says.

Jonathan says they shifted their mindset to look at the situation in a more positive light. 

“The odds of conceiving identical quadruplets is mind-blowing,” Jonathan says. “So the odds of them making it through anything is a slam dunk compared to that.” 

Still, Mercedes and Jonathan breathed a deep sigh of relief when Hannah, Lucy, Rebecca and Petra were born on May 1. 

“The pregnancy was high-risk for Mercedes, too, and I was crying in the delivery room because it was like, ‘Everyone is safe. We made it,’” he says.

The babies are in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Texas Children’s Hospital. All are on CPAP machines to help them breathe, and they are eating through feeding tubes. Doctors are optimistic that the girls will be home by July — and you can follow their journey on the  Sandhus‘ Instagram page .

Mercedes and Jonathan will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary on May 18.

“I told my husband that the babies are my five-year gift to him,” she says. “Pretty hard to top!”

Engaged Bachelor Nation couples Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross, and Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko are enjoying an adorable vacation together.

The couples are staying at the 1 Hotel in Kauai and have gone golfing, swimming in the ocean, on boat rides, and have eaten delicious meals together.

The group has been sharing photos and videos of their travels and reposting each other on social media.

Charity shared a group photo from the beach with the Bachelor Nation crew, writing, “gang gang.”

Kaity also posted a mirror pic with everyone and wrote, “Aloha,” with the hang loose emoji.

The couples have been sharing adorable PDA moments, like Zach and Kaity, who posed for a kiss and wrote, “Bayyybeee.”

Charity and Dotun also smiled on the golf course and Kaity wrote, “Cuties x2.”

We love all the Bachelor Nation reunion content, and we can’t wait for this crew to take many more trips together!

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber are expecting a baby, renew their vows

N EW YORK (AP) — Cue up his 2010 megahit “Baby.” Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (nee Baldwin) are expecting their first child together — and have renewed their vows.

A representative for Hailey Bieber confirmed to The Associated Press on Thursday that the model is just over six months pregnant.

The couple announced the news on their respective Instagram pages with corresponding posts. Both begin with a short, romantic video clip of the couple kissing. Hailey Bieber is draped in white lace; baby bump prominent in the sheer, form-fitting fabric. It is followed up with a photo shoot of Justin Bieber photographing his wife. In each caption, they've tagged one another.

In a press release, fashion house Yves Saint Laurent says the video and photoshoot are from the Biebers' vow renewal ceremony on Thursday in Hawaii.

In 2018, the Biebers confirmed their long-rumored marriage on Instagram, when the musician posted a picture of the pair holding hands and captioned it, “My wife is awesome.” Hailey changed her username from “Baldwin” to “Bieber” at the same time. They were engaged in the Bahamas earlier that year, after about a month of dating.

In addition to modeling, Hailey Bieber is the founder of a skincare line, Rhode. Justin Bieber, who rose to fame as a teenager, is a Grammy winner with eight No. 1 songs under his belt, including “Sorry,” “Love Yourself,” “What Do You Mean?” and “Despacito,” featuring Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. His last album, “Justice,” was released in 2021.
