Voyage Personaliser

Hello to all you Cunard experts,

I have another question. Our stateroom has not been assigned yet for the April QM2 Caribbean cruise. Will the stateroom number eventually show up on our voyage personaliser or will I just have to wait until sail day to find it out ? How does this generally work with Cunard ?

We normally book a specific cabin but this time we decided to take a chance on a guarantee. Now I'm not so sure I'm liking it ......I go to the voyage personaliser at least once a day and there's nothing noted. :o

It may show up, or not. You could end up learning you stateroom assignment at check in. But don't stress about not being able to label the luggage tag, as it has a bar code, and they will know where to send your baggage.

Aw heck, SeaMates ......I don't care about my luggage. I'm sure Cunard will take excellent care of it.

I just want to know what cabin I'll be in for ten days :D Any secret ways of finding out ??? This is called pre-cruise anticipation. I drive my DH nuts :eek:

Nope, there is not cut-off to when you may find out. You may find yourself in a duplex suite upon boarding! No secret ways to find out. But just trust in the upgrade fairy and pray nightly and good things may happen!

thanks , Im doing that myself, I hope on the Queen Victoria in a week for 35 nights and still have no idea what cabin Im in after booking a gurantee....though as long as Im on the ship and its floating I dont care!:D

Cabin 5139 was very nice. Also close to stairway for dining room (Britannia):)

Ship safely made it to Hong Kong a few hours ago.

My cabin number for the QV appeared on the voyage personaliser before I left - it was an upgrade from inside to outside.

Connie, we had a guarantee for May 22, a C6 which is an obstructed deck 8 balcony. I've been checking the cruise personaliser frequently, and today our cabin number appeared. It was an upgrade to a B3, hull balcony, unobstructed, on Deck 5. We're very pleased with that.

You're sailing sooner than we are, so surely the personaliser will give you an answer soon!

I have had no success in completing the voyage personalizer. It keeps bouncing back with the comment "incorrect telephone number." Any ideas how to solve this?

When I got that (on the UK version of the personaliser on the 'contacts' page), it was because it wanted a post code !!! (a partial one worked) - are there any empty fields, try putting something in

Of course, I forgot between voyages & spent ages working it out the 2nd time as well!:p

It did the same thing to me. I think I had entered the number all together, like: 1231234567, so I changed it to 123 123-4567 and it accepted the number. hth.

Tried all of the above; still nothing works.

Even tried contacting Cunard by email - no response.

Perhaps its because this will be my 1st Cunard cruise; so far, not impressed.

So, are you trying to complete the pre-boarding immigration/emergency contacts portion of the personalizer? Or just trying to see if you got a cabin assignment? Assuming you can get INTO the personalizer, using name and booking ID, if you scroll down on the first screen, you should be able to see if a cabin has been assigned.

Have you tired using the US site, http://www.cunard.com When you click on the section marked 'voyage planner', then select guest forms a new screen appears. You will need to input your first and last names then your booking reference which should be 6 letters (no numbers). The summary of your booking should have a stateroom number beside it.

Agreed on the procedure, but most certainly can have numbers. Know that for fact certain...

The cabin assignment was posted after I forwarded final payment. I'm just trying to complete the personalizer as required by Homeland Security. Yes, I'm using the U.S. site - maybe I'll try the UK site as I've tried everything else.

I'm not completely computer illiterate - there just appears to be a glitch in the personalizer program. My only guess at this point is that the TA forwarded my incorrect phone number to Cunard and that has caused a conflict which stops me from adding additional personal data.

Yes, I'm using the U.S. site - maybe I'll try the UK site as I've tried everything else.

I was surprised to discover that the UK and US versions are totally different. For example on the UK version there is information on dining table size and request status, on the US version they ask for the post cruise address. The US version is web based, the UK one is Java, at least on my PC. They appear to be different front ends to the same underlying database so why not try the UK one and then the US one? I've entered all information on both systems and all seems well to me. If you were banned from submitting the data to both systems then I am sure Cunard would say so or stop it from happening.

My phone number is entered as one long string of numbers without the international code (44 for me, 1 for US) but reverts to 44123 etc on the emergency number. No spaces, brackets or hyphens. Good luck.

I went to the UK version and was surprised to learn that my passport data had been entered. When I tried to enter emergency contact data, the program responded with an error message. Obviously, there is some software glitch in this program and I can't waste any more time trying to overcome it.

Yes, the table size request was in the UK version - why on earth wouldn't they include that in the U.S. version.

Hi all is anyone else having problems with accessing their VP I have 6+ voyage’s booked this year and next year and not able to access any of them today or yesterday I am from the UK and to top it all have just had Lloyds pharmacy cancel all my appointments for the covid tests stating admin errors!

I've just logged in without any problems using Chrome on an Android phone.

Have you tried a different browser/device ?

No problem with access for me either but with regards to Lloyds, we had  appointments booked but after our successful test run online LFT experiences [UK and we each did one with different suppliers], we cancelled them.

If I can do it,  then anyone can!  🙂

How are you trying to log in ? Via a link in a booking email or via the Cunard website ?

Hi trying to log in on Cunard website then tried the link you sent very odd I can’t access any of my bookings

A previous poster found that their date of birth was wrong in the system. If it's not working with any of your cruise reference numbers I would contact Cunard or your Travel Agent to make sure your name and date of birth details are correct.

Thanks Hattie have emailed Cunard so hopefully they-will be able to find out what the problem is.

We had this….. Cunard solved…  Somehow DW and myself had our birthday dates reversed.

Thank you so much problem solved have just logged in to my Cunard with hubbys details but my date of birth and hey presto it worked.

Get Cunard to correct….  As you both may be refused boarding because the Boarding Pass and Cunard’s computer will not agree with your Passports, even though Cunard is in the wrong.

    Last year, in post #5 above, I reported on one occasion while viewing a shore excursion in the US voyage personaliser, after clicking the "back" button, I was sent to the login page for the German voyage personaliser (vp.cunard.de). Then later I was sent to the login page for the UK voyage personaliser (vp.cunard.co.uk).
