Ray is the best. Not because I used his company, because I didn't. The reason is why I didn't use his company. He told me it wasn't a good fit and recommended a different tour company, that would work better for me. I have to say that is commendable, to turn down business and send it elsewhere, to make sure the customer gets maximum satisfaction. Thanks Ray! Very much appreciated. Hopefully next time it will work out better for us, I won't forget this.

Guided Tours are offered starting May 1, 2024 on Mondays, Thursdays and most Fridays. There will be only one tour a day for up to 7 people. It is important to book these early as they will be in high demand.

Curated Winery Tours will be offered each day as we roll them out. They are uniquely designed, elevated winery itineraries that create a day of enhanced wine tastings and immersive experiences at the top wineries in the region. You can book 2-6 guests on the curated wine tour of your choice offered on a given day.  Curated tours of 4-6 guests are private tasting experiences at each winery. Parties of two could have a second couple at each of your tastings.

Awesome tour. Rooted Vine was highly recommended by our hotel, and they surpassed expectations. Iaon was superb. He was friendly. Very talkative about the area and wine. His wine knowledge and ability to explain things was the best we’ve heard. We were picked up on time in a very clean and spacious SUV. Felt very safe in the environment from Covid. He wore his mask the whole time, and wore the mask properly over his nose! The 3 private vineyards we went to were good. The wine and the environments and the servers were perfect. He also gave us recs for places to go on the following days. Overall it was a very special day in the Santa Barbara area.

5 of us just took this tour in Santa Barbara and were extremely glad we did! On time pick up from our hotel in large comfortable van with water. Beautiful drive up the coast and inland. Austin our guide was friendly, informative and relaxed. We enjoyed all the wineries very much and seeing different parts of the wine country. Lunch was fantastic, we ordered from a menu with about 20 different meat or veggie sandwich and salad choices. So glad we chose this tour and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Santa Barbara winery tour! Our preferences were kept in mind when winery choices were made. Our host (and owner of the company), Ian, was very knowledgable about all things "wine" and was great company. We were a group of 5 ladies and our tour was private. The tour is a GREAT bargain! Amanda Seales Addresses Rumored Issues With Issa Rae: ‘She Wasn't Empowering to Me’

On 'Club Shay Shay,' the 'Insecure' actress claims that the issues were provoked by Rae's publicist Vanessa Anderson.

Amanda Seales opened up about her long-rumored issues with Issa Rae on the latest episode of Club Shay Shay . In the interview, the comedian and actress claims that the issues were provoked by Rae's publicist Vanessa Anderson.

At the 26-minute mark of the episode's Part 2 , Seales spoke about the 2019 incident where she claims security and Rae's associates shouted at the Insecure actress to leave an Emmys event in Hollywood at Anderson's demand. At the time, Seales discussed getting kicked out of the party on her podcast and social media channels. Two days later, Seales says she was contacted by Rae, who denied that she was behind Anderson's request.

“And she called me and said, 'Hey, I heard what happened this weekend. I just want you to know I have nothing to do with it. Would you be willing to talk to Vanessa?'” Seales recalled.

Initially hesitant about the conversation, Anderson allegedly later admitted over the phone that she didn't like Seales. Seales said that she always intended to "protect" Rae, although the drama caused tension in their professional life as Insecure co-stars.

"So I've never talked about this publicly because it has always been incredibly important to me to protect Issa. Because I know that Issa is doing something within this business that so few people get to do. And it's not something I desire to do," she said. "I'm not interested in getting a $100 million production deal. That's not a life that I want for myself. But I know that her role is very important."

Seales alleges that this protection of Issa has opened the door for people to attack her.

"There's a whole narrative that is completely false that people keep spinning," she said. "They keep saying, you know, that I'm this mean girl on this set, that I harmed these people on this set."

Seales continued to deny these accusations against her. 

"I just want to point out something very basic. How can I be a mean girl on a set that ain't my set? How? It's your show. You are my boss. I don't even have the capacity to be the mean girl here because you can fire me,” she added. "So there's no way for me to be a mean girl in this situation. And I know some people that may buck up against, like, the confirmation bias that they've created, but it simply is the truth."

Seales went on to claim that Rae did little to promote her show, Get Your Life , although it was a production of Rae's HOORAE Media . 

“Like, I put all my money into it, I wrote it, I starred in it, etcetera. And so I said, 'Hey, you know, would you mind tweeting to correct this?' And she just wouldn't," Seales said. "She wouldn't promote any of the shows, you know? And I just felt like that was unfortunate. But it didn't make me, it didn't change my view of her character.”

The actress accused Anderson of running a "smear campaign" against her, and when asked to "intervene," Rae allegedly continued to refuse.

“So I said, you know, 'Listen, I am not saying that it's going to be a problem on set, but I do think it is a problem that you don't feel that you need to step in.' And she was like, 'Well, then we just have a difference in opinion...this is between y'all,'" Seales said of one of her last conversations with Rae about Anderson.

The tension eventually spilled over into the Insecure set.

“Nobody's saying nothing to me. Everybody knows, because at this time, it's just the women shooting. Everybody knows what's going on. They don't say nothing to me. And that's just fucking mean. It's mean,” Seales said. 

According to Seales, there would be several more conversations, including another heart-to-heart between the two before the show's finale where Seales said Rae "came out her face at me one time too many."

“She wasn't empowering to me. She didn't feel like I was needed," Seales added. "She didn't feel like I deserved to be protected. I'm only giving a portion of the situation. But that was my experience. And nonetheless, I have still always protected her because I felt like it was my responsibility to do so. But it is not."

God Street Wine to Return for New York-Area Run in 2024

This fall, groundbreaking jam quintet God Street Wine will return for a four-night run in and around its home state of New York. After a long history of hiatuses and reunions, the upcoming run is its first since a pair of benefit concerts in 2023 and an eight-show run before those in 2019, which also brought This Fine Town , the ensemble’s seventh studio album and its first full-length offering since 2000. The band joins forces once more this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its first major-label release–1994’s $1.99 Romances –with the run, a long-awaited digital release, and first-time vinyl pressings of three of its fan-favorite albums.

God Street Wine’s 2024 series will begin with a pair of shows at Woodstock, N.Y.’s historic Levon Helm Studios on Sept. 20 and 21 , offering intimate stagings in the hallowed halls that hosted Helm’s Midnight Rambles. Next, the H.O.R.D.E. tour veterans will run south to New York City and touch down in its hometown for a set at the Cutting Room on Sept. 27 . Finally, God Street Wine’s 2024 live itinerary will conclude on Sept. 28 with a performance at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, N.J.

Beyond its newly announced tour, God Street Wine have shown longtime fans some love this year by finally delivering the lost album Hot Sweet & Juicy ; recorded in 1998 before being shelved after the buyout of Mercury Records, this timepiece from just before the band’s original disbanding landed on digital platforms in February. The group is also honoring the 30th anniversary of $1.99 Romances with the album’s first-ever vinyl pressing, alongside the first presses of Hot Sweet & Juicy and 1992’s Bag . These albums are available for pre-order now via diggersfactory.com and are expected to ship in June.
