Its accessibility makes it a strategic starting point, facilitating a smooth transition from the bustling city to the serene abodes of gods. Pilgrims often find Dehradun’s well-developed infrastructure, with a range of hotels, restaurants, and transportation options, a comforting introduction to the spiritual sojourn that lies ahead.
Preparation and Acclimatization:
Choosing Dehradun as the starting point allows pilgrims to adequately prepare for the journey ahead. Cultural and Historical Detour:
Dehradun itself is steeped in history and culture. Pilgrims can take a detour to explore local attractions, including the iconic Robber’s Cave, Tapkeshwar Temple, and the Forest Research Institute. This cultural exploration not only adds depth to the overall experience but also allows pilgrims to appreciate the rich heritage of the region.

Prairie Heights project tour gives details on affordable housing
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Affordable housing was in the spotlight as Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez toured the Prairie Heights project on the north side of Eau Claire.
The project will be able to provide 60 apartments to those in need.
Elmer Moore Jr., the executive director of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, says the project is a good example of what happens when many partners come together.
“Affordable housing means, that a family pays no more than 30% of their monthly income towards their housing costs... Every development like this, is a step taken in the right direction. We know that when families can afford their housing, they can make critical, other investments whether it’s their healthcare, their nutrition, their education, their kids or taking care of loved ones,” Moore said.
He also added that the state of Wisconsin is roughly 120,000 housing units short of being able to house the people of Wisconsin in an affordable way.

Shortly after rumors started swirling that an Oasis reunion is potentially on the horizon , listeners flocked to the band’s catalog on Spotify, running up streams in a significant surge.
From 9-11 a.m. UTC this morning, Oasis streams on Spotify increased over 160 percent globally versus the week prior, and the increase has continued to grow through this morning, Variety can exclusively report. Fans are returning to the music after rumors circulated over the weekend that Oasis’ Liam and Noel Gallagher would be performing in the United Kingdom in 2025, with a supposed 10-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Oasis formally disbanded in 2009 after Noel left the band, with each brother pursuing respective solo careers in the years that followed. This past April, Oasis was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which would have led to a reunion if the band was inducted. But Liam swiftly shut down that possibility.

This past June, Liam headed out on tour in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ debut “Definitely Maybe,” with a reissue scheduled for release this Friday.
