How to Score the Best Taylor Swift Tickets for Her Upcoming Shows
Taylor Swift has been taking the world by storm with her catchy tunes and captivating performances. Her fans are always eager to get their hands on tickets for her upcoming shows. However, with millions of fans trying to score tickets, it can be challenging to secure a spot at her concerts. In this article, we’ll explore some tips on how to score the best Taylor Swift tickets for her upcoming shows.
The first step in scoring the best Taylor Swift tickets is planning ahead. Keep an eye out for announcements about her upcoming shows and mark your calendar accordingly. Sign up for ticket alerts via email or text message so that you’re notified as soon as tickets go on sale.
If you’re a die-hard fan, consider joining Taylor Swift’s official fan club. Members often get exclusive access to presale tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
Be Prepared
Once you’ve marked your calendar and set up ticket alerts, it’s time to prepare yourself for the ticket buying process. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection and a device that can handle high traffic volume.
Create an account with the ticketing platform in advance so that you’re not scrambling to fill in your personal information during checkout. It’s also a good idea to have your credit card information handy so that you can complete your purchase quickly.
Choose Wisely
When it comes time to purchase tickets, be strategic about which seats you choose. Front-row seats may seem like the ultimate goal, but they often come with hefty price tags. Consider opting for seats further back but still within good viewing distance of the stage.
Another option is purchasing VIP packages that come with premium seating and exclusive merchandise or meet-and-greet opportunities with Taylor Swift herself.
Stay Vigilant
Even if you don’t score tickets during the initial on-sale, don’t lose hope. Keep an eye out for additional ticket releases or resale options from verified ticket resellers.
However, be cautious when purchasing through resale sites as some may sell fake or overpriced tickets. Stick to reputable reseller sites or wait for official ticket releases from the venue.
In conclusion, scoring the best Taylor Swift tickets requires planning ahead, being prepared, choosing wisely, and staying vigilant. By following these tips, you’ll increase your chances of securing a spot at her upcoming shows and enjoying a memorable concert experience.

How to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s 2024 UK Eras Tour, including price and pre-sale details
It’s been five years since Tay last set foot on our shores

Hot Swiftie summer has been and gone, and what a summer it was! Us UK -based Taylor fans waited around for months, pouring over set lists and constantly refreshing our feeds to hear news about the star arriving on our shores. It took the meaning of FOMO to a whole other level until, finally, we were put out of our misery. UK Eras Tour dates were announced, including a total of five massive Wembley shows and support from Paramore.
As her US tour came to an end, we saw TayTay perform through a torrential storm, dive head first into the stage, partake in a short-lived (and bizarre) relationship with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, and bring her ex Taylor Lautner out to do a few backflips. We can only hope that the UK leg will be just as exciting and spectacular.

Securing tickets to this tour takes military level planning and strategy (you can check out our top tips here ). Not only are there different age restrictions for different venues (you’ll want to check that out on the individual venue websites), there are also different sale dates for different cities. There may be some technical issues involved too. Presale for the US tour crashed the Ticketmaster website due to ‘historically unprecedented demand’ and the general sale was cancelled due to ‘insufficient ticket inventory’ to meet ‘extraordinarily high demands’. Eek.
Solidarity, Swifties. Here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift’s 2024 UK tour.
Is Taylor Swift going on a UK tour in 2024?
We now know for sure that Taylor is going on tour in the UK and dates have finally been announced.
Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour kicked off in the US on March 17, 2023. Announcing the tour, she said: ‘I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!) The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!’
When do Taylor Swift Eras tickets go on sale in the UK?
There were different sale dates for different cities. Edinburgh tickets went on sale on Wednesday, July 19 at 2pm. Liverpool and Cardiff tickets went on sale on Thursday, July 20 at 2pm. London tickets went on sale on Tuesday, July 18 at 2pm.
How do the Ticketmaster on-sale codes work?
On July 5, fans were contacted by Ticketmaster to let them know if they’ve received an ‘on-sale code’ or have been placed on a waiting list.
The ticketing platform stressed that tickets would be provided on a first come, first serve basis, meaning that not everyone who registered in advance will receive an on-sale code. If you were lucky enough to get one, it included timing details and a link to where the on-sale would occur, as well as a unique, non-transferable access code. However, the code did not guarantee that you would secure a ticket.
Fans who did not receive an email were placed on a waiting list until a later date when further tickets become available. Fingers crossed for you.
How can I register for tickets?
To help tickets reach the hands of fans who want to attend the shows, there was the opportunity to register for tickets. Registration closed on Thursday, June 22 at 11.59pm (local time) in the UK, and on Friday, June 23 at 11.59pm (local time) in Ireland and Europe.
Registered fans who received a unique code were able to use them to buy tickets in each city at specified dates and times. Fans who wanted an opportunity to access ticket sales in multiple cities needed to register once for each city they wanted to attend.
Was there any presale?
Fans who participated in the Taylor Swift UK store ‘Midnights’ album pre-order offer qualified for special pre-sale access to all UK and Ireland shows.
The first of those presales was on July 10 at 10am, which was for the London dates and some of the Edinburgh ones. More than 40,000 Swifties joined an online queue in an attempt to snap up tickets before the general sale. Other presales took place on July 11 (for Edinburgh and Dublin) and July 12 (Cardiff and Liverpool).
Unfortunately, if you missed out on pre-ordering the album, you had to wait for general sale to be in with a chance of grabbing tickets.
How much are Taylor Swift tickets in the UK?
For the London and Edinburgh date presales, tickets ranged in price from around £59 (for partial or obstructed view tickets) to £110 for general admission standing. Front standing was priced at about £172, while seated tickets went up to £194.
If you’re after VIP packages, the prices apparently went all the way up to £662.40. And that’s per person . Damn.
What UK dates have been confirmed for the Eras Tour?
June 7 2024, Edinburgh – BT Murrayfield Stadium. Sale date: Wednesday July 19, 2pm . June 8 2024, Edinburgh – BT Murrayfield Stadium. Sale date: Wednesday July 19, 2pm. June 9 2024, Edinburgh – BT Murrayfield Stadium. Sale date: Monday July 17, 3pm. June 13 2024, Liverpool – Anfield Stadium. Sale date: Tuesday July 18, 11am. June 14 2024, Liverpool – Anfield Stadium. Sale date: Tuesday July 18, 1pm. June 15 2024, Liverpool – Anfield Stadium. Sale date: Tuesday July 18, 3pm . June 18 2024, Cardiff – Principality Stadium. Sale date: Wednesday July 19, 3pm June 21 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Monday July 17, 11am June 22 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Tuesday July 18, 1pm . June 23 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Wednesday July 19, 11am. August 15 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Monday July 17 , 1pm. August 16 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Tuesday July 18, 1pm . August 17 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Wednesday July 19 , 1pm . August 18 2024, London – Wembley Stadium. Sale date: Tuesday July 18, 1pm .
What’s going on with resale tickets?
With tickets as precious as these, it’s no wonder that they’re already being resold at extortionate prices. Despite a four ticket limit per buyer, resale sites Viagogo and Stubhub already have tickets being resold. Some are listed for as high as £6,000.
Needless to say, you should be especially careful when buying anything on resale and only buy from official resale websites.
What’s been said about the tour so far?
Taylor Swift kickstarted her tour at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium in March, where she debuted a mega three-hour set playing songs from across her career.
The production includes 16 dancers and many set and costume changes, as well as a moment where the singer appears to ‘dive’ into the stage.
At her show in Arlington, Texas, Swift teased the crowd saying: ‘One thing we said about the Eras Tour: you think you can just go online, you think you can just scroll and know the setlist?
‘Let it be said about the Eras Tour , we’re tricksy. That’s what we are [and] we enjoy a good, healthy setlist hijinks.'
Translation? Expect the unexpected.
What’s the current setlist for her Eras Tour?
The show is made up of an epic 44-song setlist divided up according to the singer’s ten ‘eras’, which each refer to one of her albums.
The songs included ‘ Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince’, ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘The Man’, ‘You Need to Calm Down’, ‘Lover’, ‘The Archer’, ‘Fearless’, ‘You Belong With Me,’ ‘Love Story’, ‘Tis The Damn Season’, ‘Don’t Blame Me’, ‘22’, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, ‘Shake it Off’, ‘Anti-Hero’, ‘Mastermind’ and ‘Karma’.
She also performs two different surprise acoustic songs each night and has invited other musicians to perform with her on stage including Phoebe Bridgers and The National’s Aaron Dessner.

Taylor Swift’s Eras tour to reach the UK and Europe in summer 2024
The pop star will play twenty-six stadium dates, including four nights at Wembley, following huge success in the US leg of the career-spanning tour
Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, whose three-hour, career-spanning shows have made it a huge critical and commercial success in the US, is to arrive in the UK and Europe.
The tour encompasses 26 stadium dates , beginning 9 May 2024 in Paris, followed by gigs in Stockholm, Madrid, Lisbon and Lyon.
The UK leg then begins on 7 June with two dates in Edinburgh, followed by two in Liverpool, one in Cardiff, and two in London’s Wembley Stadium.
Dublin, Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw and Vienna follow, with two further Wembley Stadium dates closing the tour on 16 and 17 August. Registration for tickets is now open .
Eras is Swift’s first world tour since 2018, since when she has released four new studio albums. After 2019’s lovestruck pop album Lover, she spent the years when touring plans were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic writing and recording a pair of more intimate, folksy records: Folklore and Evermore, both released in 2020. Midnights followed in 2022 and turned back towards pop, with songs rendered in pulsating synth-focused productions.
The tour has been acclaimed for its use of three stages made of digital display units, allowing Swift to execute eye-catching tricks such as appearing to dive into a swimming pool and emerge in an entirely new outfit.
Billboard has estimated gross ticket revenue from the US tour to be $591m, though that figure is based on average ticket prices – in an era of “dynamic pricing” by ticket companies, where what fans pay can change depending on demand, such estimates could easily fluctuate.
Ticketmaster saw enormous demand for the US tour, with 2.4m tickets sold in a single day: a new record. But the company was unprepared for the number of fans for the pre-sale period, and had to cancel a public sale of tickets, leading to a fan group suing the company . Swift said she was “pissed off” with Ticketmaster and the company apologised. But the fiasco led to debates in the US Congress over whether Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation hold too great a share of the live music marketplace.
A message regarding the UK and Europe tour warns hopeful fans: “Registration does not guarantee access to the sale or to tickets.” Some who do definitely qualify are those who were incentivised to buy Midnights from Swift’s own store, which ensured they had future access to the tour pre-sale – the tactic helped Midnights become the fastest-selling album of 2022, beating Arctic Monkeys to No 1 in a fierce chart battle. In a five-star review of the tour’s opening night in Glendale, Arizona, on 17 March, the Guardian’s Adrian Horton described it as “indisputably epic ... in sheer scope of songs and devotion to lyrics, no artist can match her”. Regarding Swift’s notoriously intense fans, she wrote: “such intensity, courted by Swift with notorious Easter egging and rewarding, can be eyeroll-inducing. But when viewed from inside the Swiftieverse, in a deafening stadium she comfortably commanded for over three hours, it is rapturous.”

How to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s international tour shows
Swift recently announced 48 new shows in cities around the world, in addition to her 52-date leg she is currently performing in the U.S.

Taylor Swift performs during “The Eras Tour” on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Swift announced multiple international tour dates, her biggest international lineup yet.

Taylor Swift is at it again. This time, she broke Ticketmaster in Europe. Fans trying to get tickets to The Eras Tour shows in European cities were stuck waiting for hours with a glitchy system, with many left ticketless after the whole experience.
Ticketmaster claims a third-party provider was responsible for disrupting the European ticket sales Tuesday but did not name it. Ultimately, it halted sales of tickets for the three shows in Paris, France, and three shows in Lyon, France, saying tickets are still available and it will try again later, The Wall Street Journal reported.

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Visit http://TaylorSwift.com/tour for more information on your registrations, pre-sales and on-sales!!” Swift tweeted .
Swift’s Era’s Tour could “become the biggest in history, with the potential to gross over $1 billion,” breaking the record for global concert tours that Elton John currently holds, per the Journal .
Getting tickets to a Taylor Swift concert might feel like a nearly impossible feat at this point. Here’s all of her international shows and what we know about getting tickets for each location.
Taylor Swift shows in Latin America
Sabrina Carpenter is opening for each of the shows on Swift’s Latin America leg of The Eras Tour. For the Mexico City shows, fans were required to preregister on Ticketmaster and received a notification letting them know if they became a verified fan or if they were placed on the waiting list. Those who were verified received a text code in order to log on and order tickets for the shows. In Argentina, to get tickets for the show, fans were required to prove Argentine citizenship with their ticket purchase.
For Brazilian fans, a presale started June 6, and general sale ticket purchases were made at the Alianz Parque stadium in São Paulo. Fans began camping out days before the sale in order to secure their purchase, Insider reported.
Since ticket sales have passed for Latin American shows, those looking to get to the show can either find someone they know who is selling a ticket or head to third-party vendors Vivid Seats , StubHub , SeatGeek and TicketCity .

Taylor Swift shows in Asia
All six Singapore shows have sold out, and most tickets for the Tokyo shows have sold out on Ticketmaster. But some packages are still for sale. As of right now, ticket prices for the Singapore and Tokyo shows have remained fairly low in comparison to the skyrocketing prices for many of the shows in the U.S., so you may want to act fast or hold off, depending on how you think the market will go as the shows get closer.

Taylor Swift announces new Eras Tour dates in Europe, Australia and Asia
By C Mandler
June 20, 2023 / 6:55 PM EDT / CBS News
Pop superstar Taylor Swift on Tuesday announced new concert dates in Asia, Australia and Europe for her Eras Tour , extending her performances through summer 2024.
While Swift's tour was originally just over 50 dates, it has now expanded to more than 100, according to Forbes , with the international leg of the Eras Tour kicking off in August this year in Mexico City — after which Swift will hang up her guitar until November before resuming her stadium shows.
EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋♀️ I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Visit https://t.co/EYBevxhQzH for more information on your registrations, pre-sales and on-sales!! pic.twitter.com/G8zx8QUUAV — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) June 20, 2023
Swift's Asia shows will begin next year with four nights in Japan's Tokyo Dome, starting on Feb. 7. Then she'll visit Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, as well as Singapore, before embarking on the tour's European leg in May with two shows in Paris. Unless Swift adds even more dates, she'll close out the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on August 17, 2024.
The Eras Tour got off to a slightly rocky start when pre-sales for tickets resulted in a lawsuit against Ticketmaster from furious fans , who alleged that the company violated antitrust laws that are designed to protect market competition.
The suit claims that Ticketmaster knowingly sent out pre-sale codes to more fans than it could accommodate. As a result, millions of fans were denied the opportunity to purchase tickets .

But with Swift playing to sold-out crowds either way, the tour is poised to make her a billionaire and could end up being one of the highest-grossing tours of all time. According to Forbes , the Eras Tour might earn Swift a cool $500 million on top of her existing estimated net worth of around $570 million.
Some cities are even seeing economic boosts in their local economies as a result of Swift's tour dates, with CBS Philadelphia reporting spikes in visitor center ticket sales and hotel reservations in Philly.
Swift's Pittsburgh shows from last weekend set a new record for the venue — her tour's second show in the city recorded an attendance of 73,117 at the Acrisure Stadium.

Taylor Swift is taking her Eras Tour across the pond and around the world!
On Tuesday, the "Anti Hero" singer unveiled a slew of international shows in 2024 in Europe, Asia and Australia.
After a break in December and January, the tour will kick back up again in Tokyo, Japan — and will follow with stops in major cities like Melbourne, Australia; Sydney, Australia; Singapore; Paris; Stockholm, Sweden; Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; Lyon, France; Edinburgh, Scotland; Liverpool, United Kingdom; Cardiff, U.K.; London; Dublin; Amsterdam; Zürich; Milan; Gelsenkirchen, Germany; Hamburg, Germany; Munich; Warsaw and Vienna. She'll wrap the tour with two final shows in London in August 2024.
Sabrina Carpenter , who released her latest album, Emails I Can't Send , last year, will join Swift on the road as her opening act across all dates, including the previously announced Latin American shows .
"EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋♀️ I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!" Swift, 33, wrote on Instagram.
The new dates come after Swift announced her first international leg in Latin America earlier this month. At the time, she teased that there were "LOTS more international dates to come soon, promise!"
For more information on ticket sales visit TaylorSwift.com/tour .
Swift is currently midway through the U.S. dates of her Eras Tour, and will continue this weekend with two shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She kicked things off in March and is set to wrap this leg in Los Angeles on Aug. 9.
Her shows have been star-studded affairs , with everyone from Miles Teller , Drew Barrymore , Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd stepping out to catch her three-hour-long sets.
Swift is gearing up for the July 7 release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , which will include six brand-new songs from the vault.
Earlier this month, a report from Fortune predicted that the Eras tour could potentially generate $4.6 billion for local economies throughout the U.S. based on how much ticket holders are spending to attend each show.
Meanwhile, stars like Flavor Flav revealed that they planned to catch the Eras Tour twice .
"Before I met Taylor Swift, I’ve always been a big fan of her music anyway, though," Flav told TMZ of their first encounter at the iHeartRadio Awards in March .
"Just like I'm a big fan of Christina Aguilera , or Gwen Stefani , or I love me some Miley Cyrus . You know what I'm sayin'? You’ll find me at their concerts, too. And a lot of people thought it was kind of weird seeing me at a Taylor Swift concert, I guess because of my age... But, you know, when it comes down to music, it has no age. Music don't have no age."
