Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Panama City. Arrive in Panama City today. You will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel in a private vehicle.

Today, you will explore Panama City, taking in the colossal Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal, the remains of the original capital Panama Viejo, sacked by Henry Morgan in the 1600s and the beautiful colonial quarter of Casco Antiguo.

Today, enjoy a partial transit of the Panama Canal, travelling from the Pacific through the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks to Gatún Lake, the canal's watershed.

Transfer to Panama City's domestic airport for your short flight to Bocas del Toro, where you will be met and transferred by boat to the lodge.

Enjoy the wide range of inclusive activities on offer at Tranquilo Bay.

Transfer down from the cool highlands to the tropical plains surrounding David. From here you will be driven onto sleepy Boca Chica, where you travel by boat to Bocas del Mar.

Travel back to Boca Chica by boat and then onto David Airport by road for your short flight back to Panama City. Transfer to the international airport in time for your onward flight.

Colon is surrounded by lush rainforest. The Chagres River flows through this rainforest on its way to Gatun Lake, which eventually feeds the chambers for the Panama Canal locks system. The Embera Indian community lives in Emberache Puru inside the Gatun Lake. This community of Indians live today much as they did when the discoverer of the Pacific Ocean, Vasco Nu ez de Balboa, first set foot in Panama. Discover their cultures and enjoy a presentation of their dances. We will continue with a boat ride inside Gatun Lake, where flora and fauna will leave you breathless. If you like to see spectacular things, then you need to visit the Panama Canal, considered by many to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. Next stop is the Grand Bazaar. You’ll have a short time to experience the exotic atmosphere of the covered part. Then visit the open and modern section, where you’ll enjoy local snacks and a presentation of carpets, leather or jewelry, followed by time for shopping. Drive a Jeep through downtown Nassau and its suburbs, taking in attractions such as the caves where the indigenous Lucayans once lived and then pausing to relax at the beach..

After a short walk from the pier, you will hop into a Jeep Wrangler and hit the open road. There is plenty to see during your time behind the wheel, starting with downtown Nassau, the capital, largest city and cultural hub of the Bahamas..

You will drive through the colorful shopping district on Bay Street and see highlights such as palm-dotted Rawson Square, lovely government buildings such as the Supreme Court and the pink-hued House of Assembly. You will then head west past lovely Cable Beach and on towards the Nassau Caves for a photo stop..

The Lucayans, the original residents of the Bahamas once lived in these caverns. Settlers later used the caves for religious services and the guano inside to fertilize their crops..
