Graphite Design introduces the newest addition to the Tour AD premium line of golf shafts, the Tour AD M9003. Designed and manufactured at the Graphite Design Japan factory headquarters, the new Tour AD M9003 wood shaft is available in 68g S and X flex and 78g S and X flex.

The Tour AD M9003 series exemplifies the ultimate in shaft quality. Manufactured with ultra-high modulus, 55t carbon-fiber and the latest in graphite material from Toray Industries, Inc., TORAYCA ® T1100G carbon-fiber pre-preg with NANOALLOY ® technology, the Tour AD M9003 series delivers the superior feel expected of a high performance graphite golf shaft.

Our team works fast to ship and get your order delivered as quickly as possible. All in-stock order ship the same day when placed by 5pm ET (2pm PT). For items not in stock, or available as pre-order, please allow ~3-5 business days to process before shipping.

**NOTE: Many shipping carriers (USPS/Fedex/UPS) are impacted and may take longer to deliver your package, in remote areas, and during sale and US holiday periods. Transit times are based on estimated delivery windows assuming no carrier delays. Carrier delays do occur from time to time and are not eligible for shipping refunds.

If there are any unforeseen delays, we will reach out to you by e-mail or phone to confirm the additional processing time. For assembled items, please allow an additional 3-5 business days to process and prepare your order before shipping.

• If you selected "Standard First Class Mail", please note your order may take up to 10 business days to arrive - see estimated delivery days based on location
• If the item you chose is not in-stock (we may reach out to you for further instructions) there may be additional delays to process your order.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SHIPPING

HOW CAN I TRACK MY PACKAGE? Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email with the tracking link from our shipping carrier. Please allow 24 hrs for the tracking link to be updated correctly. For orders shipped with First Class Standard Shipping or some shaft orders, there will be no en-route updates aside from the initial carrier pick-up and final delivery update.

WHERE WILL MY ORDER SHIP FROM? We ship every order from our 30,000 square foot warehouse in sunny Southern California . Our most common shipping carrier is with USPS (US and international), Fedex (US and International) and DHL (international).

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY (OUTSIDE THE US) Yes, we do!  We offer competitive weight-based shipping rates with DHL (3 business days), USPS Priority (5-7 business days), Fedex International Economy (3-5 business days) and Fedex International Priority (1-2 business days) to almost country outside the US. 

Please note all prices are in $USD unless otherwise stated. And with some international orders, there may be  additional duties/taxes  based on YOUR COUNTRY'S regulations that you will be responsible for.

Due to strict inventory guidelines, we are no longer processing exchanges . We ask that you send the items back for a refund and then repurchase whatever you need!  >>  Access your order history here and start a request here.

RETURN COSTS & RESTOCKING FEE (NON-ASSEMBLED ITEMS)

There are no restocking fees. However hhe cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund ($11 for standard size packages, $13 for non-standard size packages such as golf shafts), if you decide to use the label provided by us. If you purchase a label yourself from a local carrier office (ie. USPS, UPS, Fedex), then there will be no deductions from your refund. If the items received are not in new/unused condition, we reserve the right to send the items back to you, or deduct a restocking fee from your refund. 

RETURN COSTS & RESTOCKING FEE (ASSEMBLED ITEMS)

Assembled shafts and clubs cannot be returned.  Once assembly has begun on your order, it cannot be canceled or modified.  Please contact us with any questions before placing your order.

Returns can be made on non-personalized items and non-assembled items within the US, 60 days after you've received the original order. Items are only accepted on unopened and unused products . Items must be returned in the original packaging.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Sorry, we are not accepting any international returns at this time.

Refunds are normally processed back to the original account (ie. credit card or PayPal). If you prefer store credit, please include this note of the refund request.

HOW TO CREATE A RETURN (ITEMS RETURNED MUST BE IN NEW & UNUSED CONDITION)

1) Access your order history, and request a return here

2) Your return request will be responded to within 1 business day (not including Sat/Sun/holidays). If the request is approved, we will e-mail you a return label. 

3) Package up the original order and drop off the package at your local carrier.

4) After 1-2 weeks after receiving the return order, we will process and issue your refund (original paid price of items returned minus cost of return shipping) to the original payment account. 

DID WE MAKE A MISTAKE?

If there was an issue with your order (the wrong was delivered, or the product arrived damage due to carrier neglect), we will ask you to send us some pictures. If the item is confirmed to be incorrect, we will provide a return label to send back the items. Once the items are back in our warehouse, we will resend your order with the correct items. We cannot ship out a replacement order until the original items are received back. For damanged items, we will open a claim with the carrier, and once the claim is approved, we will send the replacement item. 

CANCELATION REQUESTS

While we do our best to process cancelation requests, our shipping team works fast, and we cannot guarantee that your order will be canceled

If we are able to cancel the order for you, there will be a 5% restocking fee deducted from the refund.

The Graphite Design Tour AD M9003 released in mid 2015. It is an unusual addition in that it is only available in 4 models, 60 and 70 S and X. With a $550 MSRP, this is not a shaft for any but the strongest fastest golfers. Graphite design is not recommending it for anyone south of a 105 mph driver swing. That excludes me. It is made with high modulus 55 ton, Nanoalloy prepreg from Toray. Translation, the material in this shaft is as good as it gets. Radial consistency is 98.9% with a 0.2% standard deviation. Like all Graphite Design Tour AD shafts, it is round and will play exactly the same in any orientation.

Uber low launch and spin?

The Z9003 was supposed to be the new P9003 but the tour players had trouble loading it. however I have one now, a TX, and it is not hard to load. I think it is really a great shaft for late relase, big time lag players. Wasn't fitted to many pro's I think, but really does knock off spin for amateurs with steep late release swings. M9003 might be a tweak that softens it up so it works with the new heads (ie lower forward CoG.) If that is the case I might not like it. Will need more info. An attempt to get p9003 nuts a matching driver shaft? I'm interested...

Love me some Graphite Design. Just look at all the Tour ADs in my bag. Pretty sure this shaft wouldn't suit me but still interested to see new profiles and the colors look great. Wonder when GD will stop with the Tour AD line and come out with something else...

They've been running with it for awhile now. Mitsubishi has Diamana and KuroKage for their budget line. Similar to YS. As long as they keep making great shafts I don't care!

Alright so I was able to talk to the rep today about this shaft. They are having the following: 6S 6X 7S 7X. This shaft is actually stiffer in the mid section than the previous version. Lower launch/lower spin compared to everything in the current line and just slightly lower than the original. The 6S and 6X are ~68g while the 7S and 7X are around ~78g. I think he said it was going to be released in August. I'm going to be able to test the 6X in the next week or so and will be able to follow up with my thoughts compared to the original. I played the P9003X in a 915D3 and liked it a lot. Sounds like this shaft will be a little more stout. Sounds like the 6X is designed for someone in the 115 range and like a firmer feeling shaft. Someone around 110 with a quicker tempo/heavier load would also work just fine. I'm around 115 with a medium tempo and load so the 6X should be a good fit for me. EDIT: Also the butt in these is a little softer compared to original.

Pretty sure the M9003 was designed to combat Aldila Rogue. As was the HZRDUS Black. Don't have EI data on he HZRDUS yet but you can see how M9003 is very similar to Rogue 125 Haven't hit the M9003 yet but liked the feel of the P9003 when I played it a few years ago. [attachment=2954350:image.jpg]

Got a 7X inbound from Will peoples( great guy to deal with) I have played the ADDI 7x tipped 1" and a rouge black 110msi TX tipped 1/2". This shaft should be tighter than the last two. Will submit my findings after a few session.

Mark, What did you tip it? I used to play the P9003 in a 913D3 tipped 1" and it was pretty good. assuming I'd tip it the same but wondering what your take was. Finding some good success with the HZRDUS so I haven't had the urge to shaft this one up as of yet.

Can anyone compare the Kuro Kage XT to these shafts? And the Speeder Evolution and Evolution 2 for that matter...

[/quote] Mark, when you say the M is weighted more evenly than the Z, does that mean it is a little more counter-balanced with a little more weight towards the hands than the Z?

New Graphite Design Tour AD M9003 – The Spin Killer

I’m excited to see that GD has brought this baby to our shores which which had been a Japanese tour exclusive. I would have to say this is probably the industry leading low launch & low spin shaft in its weight category (most high end shafts of 50+ ton are typically in the mid 70 gram weight). The end result is unparalleled feel and response (most low launch and low spin shafts can feel like your hitting a 2×4) while achieving that sought after piercing ball flight!

This shaft is modeled after the currently inline Tour AD 9003 series of shafts that have been in the line for many years.   The Tour AD 9003 family consists of very stiff profiles designed for fast tempo/high swing speed players and are designed to promote Low to Mid launch condition and very low spin.

The new Tour AD M9003 model incorporates a new material technology from Toray Composites called T1100G.  The T1100G is a revolutionary material in that it is comprised of both High Modulus and High Tensile strength fibers.  The resin system is also based on the Toray NANOALLOY technology for added durability.  Here is a news links for more information about the new T1100G material.

TORAYCA® T1100G carbon-fiber pre-preg with NANOALLOY® technology, the   Tour AD M9003   series delivers the superior feel expected of a high-performance golf shaft. 

Designed with a medium butt section, a firm center section and a stiff+ tip, the   Tour AD M9003   model is designed for the lower handicap and tour level players with higher swing speeds of 105+ mph to promote a low launch condition and low ball spin rates.

Visitor Center Opens at Norman Foster-Designed Apple Campus in Cupertino, California

The new Visitor Center at the Norman Foster-designed Apple campus in Cupertino, California, is now open to the public. The center serves as a gateway to the 175-acre Apple Park and its centerpiece: a mammoth, 2.8 million-square-foot headquarters building defined by its donut shape and fully transparent exterior, clad in the world’s largest panels of curved glass. The campus will also include a public café, two miles of nature trails, research facilities, a 100,000 square foot employee fitness center, and the 1,000-seat Steve Jobs Theater.

Sited within an olive grove, the Visitor Center in many ways mimics the main building, known as the Ring Building. It, too, has a fully glazed envelope; its staircases are clad with the same quartz stone; and the café countertop is made from the marble used at the main restaurant. A large-scale model of Apple Park greets visitors, who can then go up to the roof terrace to observe panoramic views of the lush campus, which features 9,000 native trees, meadows, and a pond. 

Although more than 12,000 employees began occupying the Ring Building in April, it is still under construction; the Visitor Center is the first structure of the campus to be realized.

Tour AD 9003 Shafts

The Tour AD 9003 and Tour AD P9003 shafts were modeled after a very popular prototype shaft on the US and Japanese tours in the 90’s through the early 2000’s.  The Tour AD 9003 series of shafts were specifically designed for the lower handicap and tour level players with an aggressive swing tempo and high swing speeds. The Tour AD 9003 and Tour AD P9003 shafts provide a lower, piercing ball trajectory with low spin characteristics and a tight dispersion pattern. The Tour AD 9003 shafts are available in 75 grams and in S or X Flex, and the Tour AD P9003 is only available in a 80 gram X Flex model. The Tour AD P9003 model has a lower torque rating at 2.9 degrees versus the standard Tour AD 9003 models at 3.2 degrees. Tip Trimming for Std Bore:

• Pro’s Choice encourages consulting a PGA Professional or qualified club builder to help you determine the correct shaft and length for your swing profile and to meet your goals.
• Always leave a minimum of 0.5″ of the parallel tip section of the shaft above the hosel to maintain shaft durability and prevent shaft failure/breakage.  For example, if the head has a hosel bore depth of 1.5″ and the shaft has a parallel tip length of 3.0″, the tip trim length should not exceed 1.0″.

Foster + Partner's Apple Park Visitor's Center Opens to the Public

The Visitor's Center at Apple's new Cupertino campus has opened to the public. As the public face of a vast complex designed by Foster + Partners , the independent building is "a uniquely designed architectural extension" of the company's new headquarters. "With similar aesthetics in staircases, stone walls, and terrazzo floors," the center’s "cantilevered carbon fiber roof appears to float," supported only "by stone clad cores and no other extraneous columns for support."

Guests are also welcome to make their way upstairs to the roof terrace for beautiful views of the main building and some of the 9,000 native and drought resistant trees on the grounds. As they return to the first floor they are invited to visit the cafe surrounded by olive trees or the store with Apple ’s full range of products and exclusive Apple and Apple Park branded merchandise.

According to Apple , the purpose of building is to invite "guests to explore Apple Park in an immersive and engaging way." A three-dimensional model of the campus is "brought to life by augmented reality technology" – here, visitors are able to learn about the project, it's function, and the company which commissioned it. "Visitors can also choose to lift the entire roof off the building to peek inside to the collaborative office pod layout," they added.
