Harry Styles Announces Residency Tour for ‘Harry’s House’

By Tomás Mier

It’s  Harry’s House and we’re just the king’s unworthy guests. On Thursday, Harry Styles announced a fall residency tour , which will see him make stops in major cities New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Austin, in support of his forthcoming album, scheduled for May 20.

The set of shows serves as a seeming continuation of his massive 42-date Love on Tour from last year. This time, though, he’s converting arena venues into Harry’s House as he performs songs from his new record in just a few cities.

The trek will start in Toronto on Aug. 15 and 16, where he’ll welcome Madi Diaz as his opener. He’ll then head to New York City on Aug. 20 for 15 nights at Madison Square Garden with Blood Orange, followed by six nights at Austin’s Moody Center accompanied by the Gabriels at the end of September, before performing in Chicago’s United Center with Jessie Ware for another six dates.

The residency tour dates follow his successful headlining performances at Coachella. During weekend one, he welcomed Shania Twain for “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “You’re Still the One.” Meanwhile, Lizzo joined Styles for a cover of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” during weekend two.

Tickets for Love on Tour 2022 go on sale to the general public on May 25 to those who register for Ticketmaster’s “ verified fan ” presale. Meanwhile, American Express cardholders can access early ticket sales beginning May 24.

Everything We Know About Harry Styles's New Album, "Harry's House"

harry styles house tour

It seems like it was just yesterday that Harry Styles released his sophomore album, "Fine Line," and here we are with a third album on the way . In fact, it's been nearly two and a half years since "Fine Line" came out, and we've all been through a lot during that time. Styles stayed booked and busy, filming a couple of movies , going on tour, and putting together his forthcoming album. Throughout all of this, he's only managed to increase his popularity, drawing in more fans every day.

Styles is usually pretty quiet on social media, but his Twitter and Instagram lit up on March 23 when he announced his new album — sending Harries into a spiral of anticipation and prompting them to frantically pull together every penny to buy all the merch and concert tickets we know are coming. The album's first single, "As It Was," dropped soon after, on April 1.

On April 28, Styles revealed the full tracklist for the album, which includes 13 songs. Read on for everything we know about the upcoming release.

Harry Styles's Third Album Title

Styles's forthcoming album is called "Harry's House." A notoriously private person, Styles hasn't revealed the inspiration behind the name (and he might never). His first album was titled "Harry Styles," and his second album was called "Fine Line," with a track on the album of the same name.

The announcement for "Harry's House" came with a trailer, which sees Styles enter a theater and walk on stage as a set shaped like a house is lifted up around him. It could mean that he feels at home on stage. He's said many times during his concerts that performing on stage is his favorite thing to do, so calling the stage his home makes sense.

"Harry's House" Cover Art

"Harry's House" Cover Art

With the announcement of "Harry's House," Styles shared what is assumed to be the cover art, which features him wearing cozy clothes in a room where everything is upside down. The album has been teased for the past few weeks with a project called "You Are Home." Newspaper ads started popping up around the world with artwork resembling the album artwork. They were created by illustrator Maggie Cowles . A website also appeared with a door on it that, every day, would open to a different backdrop. Now that we have the album art, we know that the door opens to the room Styles is in . A Twitter account has been created and is sharing what fans assume are lyrics from upcoming songs. There's also a Discord server and an Instagram, making this a complete social media takeover.

Styles did something similar when he released "Adore You" from "Fine Line" in late 2019. He and Columbia Records created a fake island called Eroda (Adore spelled backward, of course) and started sprinkling clues on the internet. It got plenty of people — even those outside the fandom — talking and trying to figure out what it could mean. It all came together with the release of the song's video, which takes viewers to a faraway land called Eroda .

"Harry's House" Singles

On March 28, Styles announced on Twitter that the first song off the album, "As It Was," would release on April 1 at midnight in the UK. The tweet included three photos of Styles's back from the accompanying music video. At the same time, posters went up in cities around the world that read, "It's not the same as it was." The "You Are Home" account had previously tweeted, "In this world, it's just us, you know it's not the same as it was," which turns out to be a lyric from the song.

The music video was released along with the new song. Styles revealed that he recorded the track in his friend's living room and that the new song features the voice of his goddaughter, Ruby.

"Harry's House" Tracklist

"Harry's House" Tracklist

On April 28, Styles tweeted out the tracklist for the album. In order, the songs are:

  • "Music For a Sushi Restaurant"
  • "Late Night Talking"
  • "Grapejuice"
  • "As It Was"
  • "Little Freak"
  • "Daydreaming"
  • "Keep Driving"
  • "Satellite"
  • "Boyfriends"
  • "Love of My Life"

Styles previously performed "Late Night Talking" and "Boyfriends" during his two headlining shows at Coachella .

"Harry's House" Collaborations

"Harry's House" Collaborations

While Styles's first two albums didn't include collaborations, he's shared the stage with the likes of Lizzo , Stormzy , Stevie Nicks , and Kacey Musgraves in the past. Could "Harry's House" be the first time we see him share a track with someone since becoming a solo artist? There's a first time for everything.

Some fans have speculated that he could work with Maggie Rogers on a song after seeing how similar some of their promotional imagery is. The tracklist information Styles shared didn't include any other artists' names, so we'll have to wait and see if he's holding out on us.

"Harry's House" Release Date

"Harry's House" Release Date

"Harry's House" is set to drop on May 20. To celebrate its release, Styles is performing a special "One Night Only in New York" show at UBS Arena on Long Island, NY, on May 20. All tickets will be available for $25, including taxes and fees. He also added a "One Night Only in London" show at O2 Academy Brixton for May 24.

"Harry's House" Tour

"Harry's House" Tour

Styles loves the stage, so he'll, of course, be touring this album. He already has dates in place for the UK, Europe, and South America this summer as a continuation of his Love On Tour. The tour was originally scheduled to take place in 2020 but was impacted by the pandemic. After multiple rescheduled dates, Love On Tour only traveled around the US in fall 2021. Now, the UK shows will take place in June, followed by Europe then South America, wrapping up in December.

Fans assumed that Styles wouldn't be playing North American dates this year, but on May 5 the singer announced a new batch of shows. In the late summer and fall, he'll play 10 dates in New York City, 10 dates in Los Angeles, two dates in Toronto, five dates in Austin, and five dates in Chicago. That's on top of his "One Night Only" shows in New York and London right after the album releases.

Harry Styles Adds Ten Dates To His Massive ‘Harry’s House’ Tour

Danielle Chelosky

Harry’s House is one of the biggest albums of the year so far, if not the biggest. The new Harry Styles LP has already broken a record by eclipsing 146,000 copies in the US in its opening week in vinyl sales. Before it even came out, he teased fans by saying , “It sounds like the biggest, and the most fun, but it’s by far the most intimate,” as well as by hosting pop-up shops around the world.

Now, the “ As It Was ” singer is extending his tour, probably because he has no choice but to do so. The previous dates included ten-night residencies in New York and LA, but now those are fifteen-night residencies after adding five shows to both of those cities. Check out the full tour dates below.

Everything We Know About Harry Styles' 'Harry's House'

Ahead of the release of Harry Styles' new album, out May 20, GRAMMY.com compiled eight facts about the highly anticipated 'Harry's House.'

Although Harry Styles may be one of the most boisterous performers in today's pop sphere — just looking at photos from his Coachella headlining performance will psych you up — he's always approached social media with a light touch. So it's no surprise Styles took the coy route when announcing what his fans have anxiously awaited: his third album.

Styles revealed the big news on social media in March with just four words: "Harry's House. May 20th."

The boy bander turned rock star hasn't said too much about his next LP, the follow-up to 2019's Fine Line . But amid his Coachella teasers and his fitting Better Homes & Gardens cover story, there's still plenty to divulge for fans before Harry's House arrives.

Below, take a look at everything GRAMMY.com could find on Harry's House so far.

The Album Is Titled Harry's House , Arriving May 20

On March 23, Styles revealed his third album on social media in subdued fashion: A simple post of the album cover — a contemplative Styles in an upside down room — with the caption "Harry's House. May 20th."

The announcement came without any warning, naturally sending fans into a frenzy — including his Coachella duet partner , Shania Twain , who exclaimed "Oh my gosh I cannot wait!!"

The Title Came From More Time Spent At… Well, Harry's House

The pandemic-driven two years of downtime was the first time Styles had a break since his career began in 2010. Being home for an extended period proved revelatory for Styles; he found home in the physical sense, but also "in terms of a headspace or mental well-being," he told Better Homes & Gardens .

As the BH&G writer alluded, though, there are images of Harry's house sprinkled across the album, from references to the kitchen, "sitting in the garden" and "maple syrup, coffee, pancakes for two."

He Used A "Blank Canvas" To Create It

Styles' first and second albums, 2017's Harry Styles and 2019's Fine Line , paid homage to Joni Mitchell and David Bowie , both classic artists who inspired the singer.

But as detailed in Better Homes & Gardens , Styles opted to ignore his influences, cleaning his aural palette with classical music. In turn, he started anew with, as he put it, "a blank canvas.

Lead single "As It Was" indicated that the clean slate may result in a lighter melodic sense and brighter synth-pop production across Harry's House — something that was further teased when Styles performed the funked-up "Late Night Talking" during his Coachella headlining set. (He also debuted the melancholy, acoustic "Boyfriends," which was more reminiscent of the folk-inspired sounds from his self-titled LP.)

Though Styles hasn't confirmed any intentional relation, its title mirrors Mitchell's "Harry's House / Centerpiece" from her 1975 album The Hissing of Summer Lawns . In March, Mitchell's account tweeted Styles' album announcement and said "love the title."

He Teamed Up With His Right-Hand Men

Whatever Harry's House brings, fans who enjoyed Styles' first two albums will likely revel in this one too. That's because the star wrote and recorded nearly every song with Tyler Johnson and Thomas Hull (better known as Kid Harpoon), two of his closest collaborators on Harry Styles and Fine Line .

Johnson and Hull co-produced 10 of the 12 tracks on Fine Line , and Johnson co-wrote all but one of the songs on Harry Styles ("Sweet Creature," which Hull coincidentally co-wrote). Harry's House also features appearances from Styles' previous collaborators Mitch Rowland and Amy Allen, the latter of whom co-wrote his Fine Line hit "Adore You."

The Harry's House Tracklist Is Broken Into Two Parts

In yet another abrupt-yet-subtle social media post, Styles unveiled the Harry's House track list on Twitter on April 28. The 13 songs will be split into Side A and Side B.

One fan pointed out that the album's opener, "Music For A Sushi Restaurant" is "sooo billy joel of you" (a la Joel's "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant").

Others may have noticed that Styles continues his sly odes to fruit across his discography with "Grapejuice" ( Harry Styles featured a fan-favorite rocker titled "Kiwi"; Fine Line included both "Cherry" and the GRAMMY-winning "Watermelon Sugar").

Styles Considers It "By Far The Most Intimate" Album He's Made

Styles hinted to Better Homes & Gardens that while Harry's House "sounds like the biggest, and the most fun" of his albums thus far, he also revealed, "it's by far the most intimate."

Though he didn't elaborate on what exactly he meant by "intimate," Styles did open up about getting more comfortable with talking about sex. "I think I got to a place where I was like, why do I feel ashamed? I'm a 26-year-old man who's single — it's like, yes, I have sex."

He's Celebrating The Album's Release With Two "One-Night Only" Shows

On the night of the Harry's House release, Styles will perform the album live at UBS Arena at Belmont Park, New York. Four days later on May 24, he'll play another show at London's O2 Academy Brixton.

If you aren't in New York or London, never fear: Styles is continuing his Love On Tour trek in 2022. While it's unclear if he'll add Harry's House tracks to the set list, Styles will hit the UK and Europe in June and July, and Mexico and South America in November and December. In between, he'll play mini residencies in Toronto, New York, Austin, Chicago, and Los Angeles, the singer announced May 5.

This Is The Proudest He's Felt About An Album

As he explained to Better Homes & Gardens , Styles felt limitations with his first album because of the pressures to be taken seriously post-One Direction. With Fine Line , he said he was concerned with making "really big songs." Now, his inhibitions have lessened — and it's resulted in what he feels is his best work yet.

"This is kind of the proudest I've been of something I've made so far," Styles told Capital FM . "And I feel the most comfortable I've been with myself, and happiest with what I'm making, and the best I've felt about something that I'm making."

He continued, "I feel really happy at the moment. "It's the first time I feel like I'm making music, and putting music out, from a real place of personal freedom, and that is a really liberating place to be creating from. The process has easily been the most joyous of anything that I've experienced so far while making music, and I kind of want to continue that with putting it out."

If Styles' pride correlates to the music, Harry's House might just be his best work yet. We're happy to be invited over.

GRAMMY Rewind: Harry Styles Celebrates His Fellow Nominees (And His Biggest Fan) After Album Of The Year Win In 2023

Revisit the moment Harry Styles accepted the most coveted award of the evening for 'Harry's House' and offered a heartfelt nod to his competitors — Beyoncé, Adele, Lizzo, Coldplay and more.

After a wildly successful debut and sophomore record, you'd think it was impossible for Harry Styles to top himself. Yet, his third album, Harry's House , proved to be his most prolific yet.

The critically acclaimed project first birthed Styles' record-breaking, chart-topping single, "As It Was," then landed three more top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Late Night Talking," "Music for a Sushi Restaurant" and "Matilda." The album and "As It Was" scored Styles six nominations at the 2023 GRAMMYs — and helped the star top off his massive Harry's House era with an Album Of The Year win.

In this episode of GRAMMY Rewind , revisit Styles' big moment from last year's ceremony, which was made even more special by his superfan, Reina Lafantaisie. Host Trevor Noah (who will return as emcee for the 2024 GRAMMYs ) handed the mic to Lafantaisie to announce Styles as the winner, and the two shared a celebratory hug before Styles took the mic.

"I've been so, so inspired by every artist in this category," said Styles, who was up against other industry titans like Beyoncé , Adele , Lizzo and Coldplay . "On nights like tonight, it's important for us to remember that there is no such thing as 'best' in music. I don't think any of us sit in the studio, making decisions based on what will get us [an award]."

Watch the video above to see Harry Styles' complete acceptance speech alongside his collaborators Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson . Check back to GRAMMY.com for more new episodes of GRAMMY Rewind, and be sure to tune into the 2024 GRAMMYs on Sunday, Feb. 4, airing live on the CBS Television Network (8 -11:30 p.m. LIVE ET/5-8:30 p.m. LIVE PT) and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).

Harry Styles' Biggest Songs: 10 Tracks That Showcase The Versatility & Creativity That Have Made Him A Star

Since his solo debut in 2017, Harry Styles has become one of pop's biggest names by pushing the boundaries of the genre. Dig into 10 songs that showcase Styles' musical genius, from smash hits like "As It Was" to beloved deep cuts like "Fine Line."

Throughout his career, Harry Styles has proven that his music defies categorization. From his poppier days with One Direction to the more rock- and funk-inspired sounds of his solo music, every song and album have been a testament to his ongoing evolution as an artist .

His three solo albums thus far — 2017's Harry Styles , 2019's Fine Line , and 2022's Harry's House — have explored soft rock, psychedelic pop, and synth-pop. With such genre-fluid diversity in his discography, there's something for everyone to indulge in.

Styles' genre-blending techniques have undeniably made him a household name. The past two years solidified that, whether through his 169-show Love On Tour or his Album Of The Year win for Harry's House at the 2023 GRAMMYs.

Though Styles has remained relatively quiet since the Love On Tour wrapped in July, he surely has fans anticipating his next move. For now, take a look at 10 Harry Styles tracks that illustrate the versatility and creativity that's helped him go from boy band member to solo sensation.

"Over Again," Take Me Home (2013)

A deep cut from One Direction's second album, Take Me Home , "Over Again" features an impressive solo from a then-19-year-old Styles. This song takes listeners on a nostalgic journey, looking back to the happier days of an ill-fated relationship, yearning for the ability to rewind time to a point before the love story unraveled.

Styles' emotionally charged vocal delivery accentuates and intensifies the profound sense of melancholy that is being relayed in the song. The depth in Styles' voice invites the audience to connect and empathize with the song's heartbroken narrative — a trait that still permeates in his solo ballads today.

"Clouds," FOUR (2014)

Styles highlights his vocal prowess in a different way on One Direction's youthful FOUR cut "Clouds." Not only did it feature extensive, powerful vocal runs, but it also showcased the rock sensibilities of his voice. "Clouds" diverted from 1D's traditional pop sound and ventured into a more guitar-driven style, incorporating rock elements and arguably foreshadowing the sounds of Styles' debut album released three years later.

"Sign of the Times," Harry Styles (2017)

Styles kicked off his solo journey in bold fashion: a nearly six-minute ballad. The cinematic, '70s rock-inspired "Sign of the Times" presented a stark departure from his previous work with One Direction, hinting that he was more than ready to evolve musically on his own.

The release of the song marked a turning point in Styles' career, enabling him to embrace a more mature sound and gain credibility as a solo artist. His continued exploration of genres is a trait that Styles has carried into his later projects, ultimately establishing his status as a genre-fluid artist.

"Kiwi," Harry Styles (2017)

One of Styles' boldest steps into the rock genre, "Kiwi" tells a story about a rebellious and free-spirited girl who captures Styles' attention, despite knowing she's no good for him. In this lively track, Styles trades polished pop for unfiltered rock vocals, showcasing an edgier side he hadn't displayed in his boy band days — both lyrically and sonically.

The song's dynamic energy is further amplified by the rich supply of classic rock-inspired guitar grooves. While Styles hasn't revisited the raw sound of "Kiwi" much since, it serves as a reminder that he can tackle any creative technique he desires.

"Watermelon Sugar," Fine Line (2019)

One could argue that "Watermelon Sugar" is a perfectly crafted pop song: refreshing guitar grooves, a lively instrumental, sultry harmonized vocals. In fact, it's so flawless, it earned Styles his first GRAMMY in 2021 for Best Pop Solo Performance.

That's just one way the Fine Line single marked a pivotal moment in Styles' career. It also became his first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, proving that he has staying power as a pop star in his own right. And as one of two songs with more than 2 billion Spotify streams alone, "Watermelon Sugar" has also proven to be a Harry Styles classic.

"Falling," Fine Line (2019)

One of Styles' most gut-wrenching tracks, "Falling" offers an introspective take on heartbreak. The haunting piano-driven melody emphasizes the pain in Styles' voice as he realizes his harmful habits caused him to lose a lover.

The song's emotional transparency and stripped-down vocals make it one of his most emotionally mature tracks, as well as one of his most captivating. While the track is Styles' lowest-charting single to date (it reached No. 62 on the Hot 100), "Falling" has proven itself to be a fan favorite, with more than 1 billion streams on Spotify.

"Fine Line," Fine Line (2019)

Despite being the title track, "Fine Line" isn't just a deep cut from Styles' acclaimed 2019 album, it's an outlier in his whole discography — but in a beautiful way. The song is largely instrumental, with a lonely, yet emotionally-charged energy that highlights Styles' stunning falsetto.

In an interview with Capital FM , Styles cited a connection between the song's lyrics and his feelings throughout the album-making process; with the closing lyrics echoing, "We'll be alright," the song sheds light on the apprehension that often accompanies embarking on a new creative journey. The message foreshadowed Styles' subsequent ventures after the record's release, including a step into acting and the exploration of a new sound in Harry's House .

"As It Was," Harry's House (2022)

The lead single for Harry's House , "As It Was" served as Styles' first plunge into the synth-pop genre, which carried throughout the project. Despite the track's buoyant melody, its true essence conveys a more gloomy narrative. Styles explores the idea that nothing remains the same once being put into the limelight — a poignant message from one of pop's biggest stars.

Along with introducing a new sound for Styles, the brilliantly juxtaposing track also cemented him as a bonafide superstar. After "As It Was" debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in April 2022, it reigned for 15 weeks , marking the most for a British artist in the chart's history. It was also a chart titan in Styles' home country, becoming the longest-running No. 1 and best-selling single of 2022 on the UK Singles Chart. What's more, it helped Styles earn his first Record Of The Year GRAMMY nomination, and undoubtedly contributed to his Album Of The Year win at the 2023 GRAMMYs.

"Late Night Talking," Harry's House (2022)

Taking the synth-pop of "As It Was" into the '80s, "Late Night Talking" blends retro-inspired vocal distortions and groovy instrumentation. Yet, somehow, it has a timeless groove that still feels contemporary — a skill that has become a Styles trademark.

The single had big shoes to fill as it followed the smash hit "As It Was" but it fiercely proved that Styles' had room for multiple hit songs under his belt. "Late Night Talking" landed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Pop Airplay Chart and No. 3 on the Hot 100 Chart.

"Matilda," Harry's House (2022)

One of Harry's House 's few somber tracks, "Matilda" instantly became another fan favorite in his catalog. As he gently sings over plucked guitar instrumentals, he comforts someone who feels out of place within their family at home ("You don't have to be sorry for leavin' and growin' up," he sings in the chorus).

While Styles has delivered plenty of tender moments, the storytelling and emotion of "Matilda" arguably helps it stand as his most thoughtful composition to date. Although it remains as an album cut, "Matilda" is further proof that Styles' has mastered the skill of making music that resonates with listeners — whether he's compelling them to shed tears or dance along.

A GRAMMY veteran these days, Kendrick Lamar has won 17 GRAMMYs and has received 47 GRAMMY nominations overall. A sizable chunk of his trophies came from the 58th annual GRAMMY Awards in 2016, when he walked away with five — including his first-ever win in the Best Rap Album category.

This installment of GRAMMY Rewind turns back the clock to 2016, revisiting Lamar's acceptance speech upon winning Best Rap Album for To Pimp A Butterfly . Though Lamar was alone on stage, he made it clear that he wouldn't be at the top of his game without the help of a broad support system.

"First off, all glory to God, that's for sure," he said, kicking off a speech that went on to thank his parents, who he described as his "those who gave me the responsibility of knowing, of accepting the good with the bad."

He also extended his love and gratitude to his fiancée, Whitney Alford, and shouted out his Top Dawg Entertainment labelmates. Lamar specifically praised Top Dawg's CEO, Anthony Tiffith, for finding and developing raw talent that might not otherwise get the chance to pursue their musical dreams.

"We'd never forget that: Taking these kids out of the projects, out of Compton, and putting them right here on this stage, to be the best that they can be," Lamar — a Compton native himself — continued, leading into an impassioned conclusion spotlighting some of the cornerstone rap albums that came before To Pimp a Butterfly .

"Hip-hop. Ice Cube . This is for hip-hop," he said. "This is for Snoop Dogg , Doggystyle . This is for Illmatic , this is for Nas . We will live forever. Believe that."

To Pimp a Butterfly singles "Alright" and "These Walls" earned Lamar three more GRAMMYs that night, the former winning Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song and the latter taking Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (the song features Bilal , Anna Wise and Thundercat ). He also won Best Music Video for the remix of Taylor Swift 's "Bad Blood."

Lamar has since won Best Rap Album two more times, taking home the golden gramophone in 2018 for his blockbuster LP DAMN ., and in 2023 for his bold fifth album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers .

Where Does Harry Styles Live? The Many Homes Of The One Direction Star

15 August 2022, 17:29 | Updated: 24 August 2022, 13:42

Harry Styles has houses in New York and London

By Capital FM

Harry Styles bought his third property in North London at the start of 2021, reportedly with plans to make one big mansion. But they’re not the only homes he has…

One Direction star Harry Styles , 28, bought his third house in Hampstead at the start 2021, amid reports he’s planning on combining the North London homes to make one giant mansion.

Harry, who recently released third album 'Harry's House' , typically splits his time between the US, where girlfriend Olivia Wilde lives, and London, so he also has an apartment in New York and previously had a pad in LA, which he sold in 2019 for £4.8 million.

London has become the singer’s base over the past few years, buying his first Hampstead home way back in 2012 when he was just 18, the second in 2019, and the third in February 2020.

The first property set the star back almost £3 million, while the second was an eye-watering £8 million.

His latest purchase was £4.175 million.

Each of the properties certainly has character, as the second mansion is a five-bedroom Georgian house across the road from his first.

Harry Styles on why he postponed his 2020 tour

The latest North London property in Harry’s name is an 18th century villa.

It’s thought the neighbouring houses were previously one big house before being separated into two semi-detached homes, so Harry could be planning to merge them back together again.

According to MailOnline, the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer is hoping to turn the cribs into a 10-bedroom mansion featuring games rooms and a cinema.

The final bill “is not going to be shy of £30 million,” according to one source.

“He views himself as a property developer in the making.”

Where does Harry Styles live in America?

Harry Styles spends a lot of time in New York

In New York, Harry has an apartment in the upmarket Tribeca neighbourhood in the same building as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

It’s also thought to be in the same block as ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s apartment when she stays in the city.

Harry bought the Big Apple apartment in 2017, which may explain his reason behind the song on his debut album, ‘Ever Since New York.’

The pad cost the pop star $8.7 million ( £7million) and is a 3,000 square foot abode with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Inside Harry Styles’s Chic Real Estate Portfolio

By Joyce Chen

harry styles

Harry Styles has come a long way from his humble beginnings in Worcestershire, England. In the decade since he and the rest of the One Direction lads made their debut on the international music scene, he’s gone from boy band member to one-man show, holding court at Madison Square Garden and rocking out alongside the likes of Stevie Nicks and Bruce Springsteen. Styles has also gotten into the A-list pastime of building up an impressive real estate portfolio, growing the number of places that he can call home at any given point during his world tours. As for his latest album, Harry’s House , the title was both inspired by Haruomi Hosono’s 1973 album Hosono House and the sensation of actually, well, being at his house.

“When I took that title [and] put it to the songs we were making, it felt like it took on this whole new meaning,” he told Zane Lowe in an interview about the album. “It was about: ‘Okay, imagine it’s a day in my house—what do I go through? A day in my mind—what do I go through?’” Here, we’ve rounded up some of the places where Styles may have daydreamed his album into being.

Styles got his big break in 2010 when he auditioned for The X Factor. Though he tried out as a solo act, he was brought on as one of five members of One Direction, and the rest, as fans can attest to, is history. Though the new bandmates quickly found success, they didn’t immediately spend all their cash. Instead, they opted to rent out a five-floor unit in Princess Park Manor , a mid-19th-century Italianate-style complex in North London built by Queen Victoria. The imposing property was originally used as an asylum , but had been converted into luxury apartments in recent years. It’s unknown how much Styles or his bandmates paid for their stay there.

Styles’s first real estate purchase was a $4.8 million white stucco house in the pastoral, suburban North London area of Hampstead Heath. The 2,300-square-foot residence sits behind high walls and gates for maximum privacy and boasts four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. French doors, hardwood floors, and skylights give the space a touch of both countryside charm and contemporary airiness. A home gym with a skylight and a primary suite with its own dressing room round out the home’s modest yet modern offerings. The back garden is fully landscaped. The singer still owns this property.

Styles made his move stateside when he plunked down $4 million for a unique post-and-beam, midcentury-modern home in Beverly Hills. Designed by architect Alejandro Ortiz, the tree house-esque mansion measured 3,000 square feet, with five bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms, wood beam ceilings, and a tree-lined walkway connecting different parts of the property. Floor-to-ceiling windows let the outdoors in, and a sunken deck leading to a massive saltwater pool helped add to the tropical vibe of the place. There was even a detached guest bungalow for out-of-town pals to crash. Styles didn’t hold onto the bachelor pad for long, however. He sold it for $3.2 million in 2016 , though, given his career’s trajectory, he likely wasn’t hurting too badly from the slight loss.

The singer’s next home was a Sunset Strip stunner. He paid $6.9 million for the ultramodern pad, which boasted glass walls that opened completely onto terraces with views of both the Sunset Strip and the Pacific Ocean. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion had a home movie theater, a chef’s kitchen, a penthouse primary suite, and a kidney-shaped pool and spa. During his tenure there, Styles made some upgrades to the house, adding in a high-end audio system (the better to play his music with) and giving the living- and dining-area floors an alabaster finish. He put the 4,400-square-foot residence on the market for $8.5 million in 2017 but had to slash the price a few times before finally off-loading it at a slight loss (he sold it at $6 million) two years later.

With the sale of the Sunset Strip home, Styles officially departed the West Coast, next snapping up an $8.7 million Tribeca penthouse . (The unit was purchased through a trust. His neighbors in the building include a who’s who of Hollywood, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Lawrence, and Justin Timberlake. Though not much is known about the unit—the place is notoriously paparazzi-proof—it’s safe to assume that, like other condos in the building, the home measures around 3,000 square feet and features three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. Styles still owns the penthouse.

Styles doubled down on his Hampstead Heath holdings by buying a neighboring home for $10.9 million. And the following year he put down $5.5 million for the house next door to the second one. Very little is known about these two properties, and the famously private star has yet to confirm whether or not he’s hoping to construct a massive multibuilding mega-compound from the three structures, though reports have speculated that this might be the case. Other A-list stars who call Hampstead Heath home include Benedict Cumberbatch, Helena Bonham Carter, and Ricky Gervais.

New year, new pad. Styles was linked to Olivia Wilde in early 2021, and the two appeared to get real serious real quick. Though they haven’t purchased anything together, the photogenic pair reportedly shacked up at Styles’s manager Jeff Azoff’s Hollywood Hills home while working together on Wilde’s new movie, Don’t Worry Darling. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom midcentury-modern residence is low-key compared to some of Styles’s previous digs, measuring 1,378 square feet, with a pool and spa. The couple also reportedly rented a chic five-bedroom house in Los Feliz for $10,000 a month.

The Harry Styles Show (and Some Music) Comes to New York

The first two nights of a 15-concert run at Madison Square Garden were heavy on charisma, banter and nods to the past.

harry styles house tour

By Jon Caramanica and Lindsay Zoladz

Over the weekend, Harry Styles began a 15-night stand at Madison Square Garden, an impressive feat befitting one of the most popular musicians in the world. (He’ll begin a similar stretch in October at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. — his tour supporting his latest album, “Harry’s House,” consists of a series of residencies .) But Styles, who came to fame as part of the British boy band One Direction, is still relatively early in his solo career, and is still establishing his sonic ideas. Two New York Times critics attended the first two nights of his Love on Tour run in New York to see how he wielded his gravitational pull.

JON CARAMANICA I always liked One Direction , more or less. Or maybe I liked what the group represented: a rejection of the hyperprocessed boy band, and by extension an acknowledgment that doing the least can still earn you the most. They weren’t trying to delude audiences about their artistry — their casualness was foundational to their appeal. But that approach wears thin in a solo act, and time and again during the Harry Styles show at the Garden on Saturday night, I found myself vexed. Off-the-charts charisma, collective exuberance, decently competent band, and yet at the center of it all, Styles was inscrutable. Musically, at least. I’ve rarely if ever seen someone more confident in their ownership of the stage, but everything underneath felt slight. All razzle, no dazzle. What am I missing? (I’m not missing anything.)

LINDSAY ZOLADZ Hmm, Jon, maybe a boa? Despite all of the construction around Madison Square Garden, I had no difficulty finding the venue’s entrance: I just followed the trail of rainbow feathers shed from the signature Styles neckwear that at least half of the audience seemed to be sporting. My thoughts today (and over the next several weeks of Styles’s 15-date residency) are with the Garden’s cleanup crew.

I’ve long considered One Direction to be the quintessential boy band of the fan-service era — expertly primed to respond to the demands of their devoted, social-media savvy stan army — and after catching Styles’s show on Sunday night, I’m ready to declare him the defining solo artist of that era, too. I am not sure I’ve ever seen a pop star wave so much from the stage in my entire life? Roughly a third of his performance seemed to comprise waving, pointing and blowing kisses to various sections of the audience, whose volume approximated a jet taking off. Most of the time I could not hear Styles’s voice well enough to determine if he was hitting all the notes, though the crowd’s reaction was energetic enough that they did not seem to care. This show felt, as so much of Styles’s music does, first and foremost for the fans, which — I agree — can sometimes make the man at the center of it all feel like a bit of an enigma.

CARAMANICA Let’s try to distill the Harry Styles musical proposition. He has nowhere near the determined agita of, say, Shawn Mendes; nowhere near the vocal litheness of Justin Bieber. (Also:#FreeZayn) And it goes without saying that despite the rampant Eltonisms on display throughout Styles’s solo catalog, and the (sub?)conscious echoes of John’s sartorial glamour in Styles’s Gucci gear, he has nowhere near John’s verve or panache. It is all quite a brittle foundation upon which to build this fame skyscraper.

But yes, the waving. Also the utterly-at-ease shimmying. And that thing he did mid-show where he took a fan’s cellphone and tried calling her ex on it. (Josh, if you’re reading this, you got washed, buddy — everyone at Madison Square Garden hates you.) See also: him singing “Happy Birthday” to his friend Florence. Florence Welch, of the Machine ? No. Florence Pugh, his co-star in the upcoming film “Don’t Worry Darling”? Also no. Florence, daughter of Rob Stringer, chairman of Sony Music Group? Yes.

This is the essence of his appeal — his is not a top-down sort of fame. He’s the approachable but protective friend, the one who leads with good judgment and progressive wholesomeness. (At previous shows, he’s helped people come out, or to confess their love.) That’s part of why, even though public discussion of Styles often centers on his dating life or the ways he flirts with gender fluidity, his actual show is conventional and chaste. The most risqué bit was when he explained how the in-the-round performance would work. Sometimes, “we’ll be ass to face,” he said. “I’ll be sure to distribute face and ass equally throughout the show — there’s plenty to go around.” It was cheeky. Even “Watermelon Sugar,” his lightly erotic hit, was dry.

ZOLADZ Styles did not call any exes at our show, but he did a funny bit where he attempted to count all of the “golf dads” in the audience — 34, apparently. He also broke some solemn “bad news” about something that had happened just before the show: “I’ve blown my tongue on some soup.” So yes, effortlessly charismatic banter, and he works every corner of the stage. The set and wardrobe were a bit more minimal than I anticipated; I expected at least one costume change. But I would describe the look he was going for, in a red-and-white-striped jumpsuit, as “sexy candy cane.” The fashion, the fans, the force of personality — it feels like we’re talking about everything but the music here, which is perhaps telling. How did the songs strike you, Jon, and did you get anything out of them that you don’t get on his records?

CARAMANICA Basically, we’re of opposite opinions on Styles’s albums — I’m more partial to the most recent one, “Harry’s House,” and I know you lean more toward the previous one, “Fine Line.” When the songs were … funkier — and I use that designation extremely loosely — his performance felt more full. I’m thinking “Satellite,” and also “Cinema,” both from the new album — the rhythm section is in the lead, but doesn’t overpower him. I also liked what he did with “Adore You,” melting the chorus into more of a restrained tease. But when he went unadorned, like on “Matilda,” the air in the room felt heavier. And “Sign of the Times,” the first Styles solo hit, was ponderous, a karaoke take on mid-1970s power-mope.

ZOLADZ I sometimes detect a divide between the music Styles wants to make — the big, bold, if somewhat generic-sounding ’70s-style rock of his first album — and the more pop-oriented fare that better suits his personality. Not surprisingly, the songs that worked best for me live were the ones that manage to satisfy both of those impulses, like the groovy, Tame Impala-esque “Daylight” or the still-ubiquitous hit “As It Was.” I wish he’d ended the set on that note, but regrettably he had one more song to play after that, the stomping, Led-Zeppelin-cosplay rocker “Kiwi,” an unfortunate live staple that I consider one of his weakest songs. But, as ever, he seemed to relish playing the role of bombastic rock star, even if the material itself didn’t always electrify.

I found it refreshing, though, that Styles is not shying away from his former group on this tour: The first song on his preperformance playlist is One Direction’s “Best Song Ever” — much to the shrieking delight of the thousands of fans who sang along to every word — and during his set he actually played a louder and more rock-oriented version of One Direction’s 2011 hit “What Makes You Beautiful,” which happens to be from an album that his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson recently called a disparaging word we can’t print here. How did you feel about Styles’s raucous 1D cover, Jon?

CARAMANICA That was one of the musical high points, if not the peak. It was as if a rowdy bar band momentarily inhabited Styles’s very deliberately understated crew. On Saturday, too, people absolutely lost it when the opening bars of “Best Song Ever” hit right after the conclusion of Blood Orange’s temperate and tasteful opening set. It was the purest release of pent-up demand that I’ve witnessed in quite some time. And that’s how the rest of the night went, too — demand leading supply. Fervor without feeling (and certainly without friction). An arena-size canvas merely doodled on with pencil.

And for the record, a friend lent me her pink-and-white boa for a few songs — it didn’t help.

Harry Styles superfans interview to be tour guides in his hometown

By Izzy Hawksworth via SWNS

Harry Styles "superfans" applying for jobs as tour guides in his hometown face an 80-question quiz on the star before doing a presentation.

More than 5,000 fans - known as "Harries" - have descended on the quaint Cheshire village of Holmes Chapel in the past year.

The village has even produced its own map of the two-mile tour which the local railway station ticket officer gives away for free.

Now local leaders are planning official tours to show fans sights such as the bakery where he worked as a teen and a Chinese restaurant he once took Taylor Swift.

They received over 150 applications for Harry Styles experts to lead the tours and interviewed 20 hopefuls on Saturday, April 20.

Attendees were put through their paces with an 80-question quiz on the singer and Holmes Chapel and were asked to make a short individual presentation.

Peter Whiers, chairman of the Holmes Chapel Partnership, says there was "a lot of love for Harry" in the room where the interviews were held.

He said: "The assessment day went incredibly well.

"There was a lot of love for Harry in the room but also many applicants whose shared fantastic knowledge of local history and pride in Holmes Chapel village.

"Alongside this, we were keen to identify applicants who were well organized, engaging speakers and confident to lead a group safely around the village.

"I was really impressed with the caliber of the attendees.

"I’m confident we can now appoint tour guides who will make Harry Home Village Tours an entertaining and enjoyable experience this summer."

The tours will run on Saturday mornings in June and weekdays in July, September and August this year.

The partnership originally wanted to appoint 12 guides but after the success of the interview process, they have decided to hire more.

Peter said: "The combination of the excellent applicants we met today and high early interest in the tours has swayed our decision to offer positions to several more Tour Guides.

"This will ensure we have a team large enough to comfortably meet demand and deliver daily tours over the summer months."

Move over, Pete Townshend!

Delta Airlines has been accused of “purposefully” smashing a musician’s Martin acoustic guitar after she found the instrument’s splintered remains in its hard case following her flight.

Unlike rock legend Townshend — guitarist for The Who who destroyed more than 35 guitars in 1967 alone — Madi Diaz, 37, was shocked to find her own string instrument had met the same fate.

Delta Airlines has been accused of “purposefully” smashing a musician's Martin acoustic guitar after she found the instrument’s splintered remains in its hard case following her flight.

“Truly devastated by the damage done by @Delta to my 20-year-old martin guitar,” Diaz wrote on X.

“So many memories just gone. Absolutely beyond devastated. Please repost. @Delta needs to be held responsible.”

A group of people on a stage

In a video accompanying the tweet, Diaz panned over the broken guitar showing the extent of the damage while reminiscing on the memories she shared while playing it — including touring with Harry Styles.

“Delta, this is unfathomable and just so devastating,” the singer said in the short video posted along with detailed photographs.

“This is completely unfixable. I will never play this guitar again and I’m just absolutely shocked at the treatment of this instrument.”

The instrument was found destroyed in its hard case following her flight.

In an Instagram story, she wrote: ”From my dorm room in college to stages with @Harry_Styles this guitar has been with me through ALL OF IT.”

Diaz had also taped Styles’ song “Medicine” to the guitar so she could remember it during her performance — with the paper left in shreds.

“20 years of memories — all the tours and records and songs written on this guitar. Shattered by carelessness. I’m absolutely heartbroken,” Diaz added.

In a video accompanying the tweet, Diaz panned over the broken guitar showing the extent of the damage while reminiscing on the memories she shared while playing it — including touring with Harry Styles.

In the 39-second clip, Diaz noted that a red “Fragile” sticker on the case appeared to have been “scratched off purposefully” while X users echoed her fury.

“It literally looks like someone did this on purpose to @madidiaz guitar…how does this happen?” fellow singer Jamie Floyd replied.

“This is the way she makes her living..and someone smashed it in..on your watch. Make this right.”

Diaz had also taped Styles’ song “Medicine” to the guitar so she could remember it during her performance — with the paper left in shreds.

“It was even in a solid hard shell case. Damage like this is not accidental by any means.. you have to try to do that,” another added in the comments.

Delta apologized to Diaz on X for the “long wait” for its response and asked the singer to contact it in a private message.

The airline also issued a statement to the Sun saying, “Delta apologizes to Madi for the damage to her instrument.”

“We’re in contact with her team to try to make this right,” they added in the statement.

The Post reached out to both Delta and Diaz for comment.

Harry Styles fan sentenced to prison for stalking the Grammy-winning singer: Reports

harry styles house tour

A 35-year-old Harry Styles fan has reportedly received a prison sentence for stalking the Grammy-winning singer .

Myra Carvalho, who is from Brazil but has been living in a London hostel since December, was sentenced on Friday to 14 weeks in prison, according to U.K. outlets including The Guardian and The BBC . She was also reportedly banned from contacting Styles, 30, or attending any of his performances for 10 years.

She pleaded guilty on Tuesday to stalking involving serious alarm or distress, according to The Guardian, and was also ordered to pay a £134 (approximately $165) victim surcharge.

Per the Guardian, prosecutors previously told the court that Carvalho sent the "Don't Worry Darling" actor 8,000 cards, including handwritten letters. Some of the communications were hand-delivered to his London home.

USA TODAY has reached out to Styles' rep and Hendon magistrates court for comment.

'Harry's House' album review: Harry Styles taps into synths, funk and loneliness in a dazzling album

This is not the first time the former One Direction singer, who won album of the year in 2023 for his third album, "Harry's House," has dealt with a stalker.

In 2019, Pablo Tarazaga-Orero, 26, was barred from going near Styles and posting about the star on social media after he was convicted of stalking Styles. The singer claimed in court that Tarazaga-Orero had camped outside his home in London for two months, sent him notes and money via his mailbox and tried to grab Styles while he was running in a park at one point.

Styles told the court Tarazaga-Orero's behavior left him "scared" and "very uncomfortable" in his home. The incidents stemmed from an interaction in which Styles allegedly bought Tarazaga-Orero food after seeing him sleeping at a bus stop near his house.

Before his conviction, the defendant had denied the charge, claiming Styles had propositioned him and offered him money.

Styles – who wrapped his most recent world tour, Love on Tour, last summer after nearly two years and more than 150 shows – has been spotted enjoying various sporting events in his time off from touring.

He was among the celebrities spotted at the Masters Tournamen t earlier this month in Georgia and was photographed at a soccer match between Manchester United and Luton Town in London last month.

The most fairy-tale houses of old Moscow (PHOTOS)

The Pertsova House

The Pertsova House

At the turn of the last century, Russia was gripped with a trend for reviving medieval Russian art and heritage sites. Artists and architects found a new appreciation for the uniqueness and artistic value of old Russian icons and architecture. They began to incorporate images and elements of Old Rus into their works, while at the same time re-imagining them. Medieval Russian art was the strongest influence on the Russian avant-garde. In architecture, the emergence of this Russian style (also referred to as the neo-Russian or pseudo-Russian style) was further bolstered by the lifting of strict regulations governing building design, as well as by several industrial exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Paris that featured houses and interiors inspired by medieval Russian architecture. Subsequently, buildings and entire neighborhoods built according to these designs began to appear in many cities in Russia and beyond.

GUM and the Historical Museum

GUM and the Historical Museum

The Russian style consists of fashioning modern buildings on the wooden architecture of Slavic masters, sometimes deliberately exaggerating their most pronounced features. The most famous Russian style buildings in Moscow are the GUM department store in Red Square, the Yaroslavsky and Kazansky railway stations, and the Historical Museum in Manezhnaya Square. In addition, Moscow has preserved several unique mansions that look like they came right off the pages of a book of Russian folk tales.

1. The Lopatina Mansion, 1876

harry styles house tour

This house decorated with colorful mosaics is located in the very center of Moscow on Bolshaya Nikitskaya street. Before the Bolshevik Revolution, it belonged to Anna Lopatina, who ran a business that supplied seafood to Moscow. In addition to the owners' apartment, the building contained apartments that were rented out as well as warehouses and administrative offices on the ground floor.

harry styles house tour

The building was designed by architect Alexander Kaminsky, the son-in-law of Pavel Tretyakov, who founded the Tretyakov Gallery—which was also built in the Russian style. Kaminsky decorated its facade with an ornament made of small multi-colored bricks and ceramics resembling cross-stitch, while the design for its arched windows was borrowed from boyar chambers.

The third floor was added in the 1920s, when the mansion passed into the hands of the Soviet authorities and was turned into a residence hall. These days it houses the Brazilian Embassy.

2. The Tsvetkov House, 1899-1901

harry styles house tour

This small house on Prechistenskaya Embankment was commissioned by the art collector Ivan Tsvetkov. He was a devoted admirer of Russian art and planned this mansion as an art gallery, having hired artist Viktor Vasnetsov (author of The Bogatyrs and Alyonushka) to create its architectural design. The result was a house that was canonically “Russian” both from the outside and on the inside.

It features a domed roof above carved stone balconies, bright tiles on the lintels, rooms with massive censer-like chandeliers and wooden chest benches. The view from the house opened to the Krasny Oktyabr confectionery factory (which at the time was called Einem).

harry styles house tour

In 1909, Tsvetkov donated the house and his extensive collection of paintings (including more than 1,800 canvases and sculptures) to the city, while retaining the right to live in the house and rebuild the gallery. After his death in August 1917, the building was turned into an art museum and even served as a branch of the Tretyakov Gallery for some time.

In the 1930s, however, the collection was distributed among regional museums, while the house itself was converted into a residence hall. During the war, the building was home to the headquarters of the Normandie-Niemen Fighter Regiment. Currently, it is used as a foreign diplomatic residence.

3. The Pertsova House, 1905-1907

harry styles house tour

This fairy tale house on Prechistenskaya Embankment is one of the most striking buildings in Moscow. It was commissioned by a railroad engineer named Pyotr Pertsov, who registered the house in the name of his wife Zinaida. Pertsov became obsessed with the idea of building a mansion in the Russian style after visiting his friend Ivan Tsvetkov.

harry styles house tour

A plot of land was available nearby, and this is where Pertsov built his apartment building. A huge fan of Russian art, he planned to rent out apartments in the building to artists, writers and other members of the creative class at a very modest price. The house was designed by the architect Sergei Malyutin—designer of the famous Russian nesting doll—who deliberately included windows of different sizes and asymmetric facades. The attics housed workshops, and inside there were elevators and even a telephone.

harry styles house tour

The owners' apartment occupied four floors in a separate wing and was stylized as a Russian hut, complete with tiled stoves, carved oak furniture and stained-glass windows. The house became a popular meeting place for Moscow's art scene. There was a cabaret in the basement, and passers-by would often stop outside this mansion to admire the intricate details of its facade.

harry styles house tour

After the Bolshevik Revolution, the house was nationalized, and representatives of the new government moved in, including Leon Trotsky. Most of the original interior decoration has been lost over the years, but on the outside the building has changed very little. Since the 1970s, the mansion has been used by the Foreign Ministry.

4. The Igumnov House, 1888-1895

harry styles house tour

The owner of this mansion in Bolshaya Yakimanka street, Nikolai Igumnov, built it using old Russian chambers as an inspiration. Igumnov owned a gold mine and spent a million rubles on the building’s construction, which was an incredible amount at that time (the plot of land in the center of Moscow on which the house stands cost only about 17,000 rubles).

harry styles house tour

The building’s red bricks were ordered from the Netherlands, and each element of the façade—the windows, doors, balconies—has its own distinctive decor. The mosaic adorning the mansion depicts birds, flowers and plants from fairy tales. The building’s roof was made in different shapes.

harry styles house tour

In 1901, Igumnov left for Abkhazia and never returned to Moscow. After the revolution, he voluntarily handed over the property to the Soviet government. Nowadays, the building houses the residence of the French ambassador.

5. The Shchukin Mansion, 1893-1898

harry styles house tour

This huge house on Malaya Gruzinskaya street belonged to the merchant and philanthropist Pyotr Shchukin, who was an avid collector of Old Russian art. As his collection grew, he decided to build a separate building for it in the Russian style, which was fashionable at the time.

harry styles house tour

The main building had a wide porch decorated with a balcony (a smaller copy of the balcony of the Romanovs' chambers on Varvarka street) and multi-level pointed roofs. Inside, visitors found themselves in vaulted halls painted with floral designs. Several years later, another building was built next to the first one, also in the pseudo-Russian style but more spacious. Later, the two houses were connected by an underground passage.

harry styles house tour

In 1905, Shchukin donated his house to the Historical Museum but remained the curator of the collection until his death and even gave guided tours of the house himself. During the Soviet years, the building continued to be used as originally intended, exhibiting items from various museums. Today it houses the Timiryazev Biology Museum.

Break for lunch before continuing on a tour of the Kremlin and Armoury Chamber, famous of its collection of tsarist fashion, with regalia such as jewel-encrusted crowns, orbs and sceptres as well as arms and armour, exotic gifts from the leaders of faraway lands, and an illustrious case of Imperial Faberge eggs.

As an option* spend an evening on a sumptuous dinner cruise, taking in the stunning sights and city lights of this mesmerising metropolis by night.

Day 3 Metro and Arbat Street

Start a day with a tour of Metro, stopping on the way to marvel at some of the most elaborately decorated stations of the world-famous Moscow subway system. Take a stroll along Old Arbat street - the most famous street in Moscow. Through the centuries Arbat used to be one of the most bohemian places in Moscow. Today Arbat is a promenade full of small cozy cafes and street life.

The afternoon is free for you to either enjoy the rest of the day on your own or choose among optional excursions to explore more of Moscow. Visit the Tretyakov Gallery or Pushkin State Museum to admire Russian art. Join locals for a stroll at the Gorky or VDNH park.

Visit beautiful Kolomeskoye Estate or Izmailovo Kremlin, or spend a day exploring the beautiful city of the Golden Ring (Russian province) - Sergiev Posad. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to your next destination.
