Excellent service

Booked a private transfer to Auschwitz - Birkenau where we joined a small group for the tour. Our driver was excellent - he was friendly, informative and professional. Tour guide was very good, did not feel rushed despite lots of visitors.

Tour in Krakow

My wife and I visited Krakow last week and booked a one-day tour of Auschwitz and Salt Mines. Please be aware that you're basically paying a company to bus you to the sites and organize a group tour. I assumed we were paying for hotel pick-up and drop-off, given the overall cost of over 100 euro a head. However, we were dropped off at a location about a kilometre from our hotel, in the rain!

Krakow Direct

We booked airport pick up & drop off, salt mine tour plus Auschwitz-Birkenau guided tour all with Krakow Direct. The communication, service and curtesy of the complete experience was excellent. The drivers arrived spot on time, they showed us where to go at each of the tours and all spoke excellent English. We would thoroughly recommend using Krakow Direct.

We booked a trip with Krakow Direct for 10 of us to Auschwitz and the Salt mine. Our drivers were Aleksandra and Andrzej as we needed two cars. They were both absolutely fantastic, really knowledgeable and fun and always on time to pick us up and guide us through next parts of tours. I would not hesitate to recommend or use this company again 5 ⭐️

Cool tour but very rushed. We were given breaks but they were only about 10 minutes long. This left no time to look at the shops or enjoy anything from the cafe’s. Our guide was wonderful though! Very funny and made the tour engaging. I will say, we were not dropped off at our hotel but about a 10 min walk away from it.

Lovely driver clean vehicle on time with both puck ups for tour and return to airport . Driver was very knowledgeable about the city and helpful

We were picked up by Pawal, we had prebooked a cab to collect us and even though we had arrived 10 minutes early our driver was waiting for us. He was a lovely friendly driver. More than accommodating and happy to answer all of our questions. We would highly recommend

I have used KrakowDirect for tours to Auschwitz, Wieliczka Salt Mine and now Zakopane tour. KrakowDirect are punctual, reliable and professional. I had an excellent tour around Chochołów, Zakopane and the Tatras mountains. The scenery was beautiful and managed to stop off at the viewpoints and to taste local cheeses/polish vodka. There was plenty of free time at krupowki street for lunch and shopping. Our tour guide, Bartek, was very friendly, helpful and informative.

Krakow direct tours

Had an amazing trip in Poland. With it being the first time coming to Poland I wasn’t sure what to expect. When we arrived we was met with our transfer and driver from krakow direct tours he was brilliant , very professional and very much Orientated towards making sure we was comfortable. We went to Auschwitz-birkenau with our private driver Peter , he was from the start just amazing !! Like his colleague he made sure we was comfortable and made us feel so at ease with him , he was full of knowledge about krakow and Auschwitz and was showing us different parts of krakow on the way. When we got back from the tour he bought us a souvenir which me and my girlfriend will cherish for a very long time . He made the trip very memorable and we will defiantly be coming back and visiting him. Thankyou for an amazing trip!

Fantastic day out with a first class tour operator. I decided to visit both places on the same day and pre-booked via internet. Pick-up was at 07.00 from my hotel in a new mini-bus. Our driver was friendly and helpful. On arrival at Auschwitz we were greeted by a young lady who was to be our guide for the 2 camps. She delivered a very informative tour of the camps and was very sincere in her explanations. Next stop Wieliczka salt mine. Lunch at the restaurant opposite the mine was good value for money. Underground guide met our group at the 'pit top' and our tour began. As an ex coal miner I was fascinated with the tour, even though the audio on the headset was a little faulty. I will be visiting Krakow again in the near future as there are many more things I want to see. I will be using Krakow Direct for future visits. Highly Recommended from me.

My husband and I had a few days in Krakow and wanted to pack as much in as possible! So we picked the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Salt mine tour with Krakow Direct! I e-mailed them my details and I got an e-mail back confirming our tour date and time. They picked us up in a lovely mini bus right outside our hotel at the exact time they said they would. Our driver was lovely (Martin), he made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. It is a long day doing all 3 but definitely worth it. We got picked up at 8am and got back to our hotel about 7pm! Big thumbs up from us . . . Thank you Krakow Direct 😁

24 November 2018 Auschwitz & Birkenau. Transport picked us up from our hotel on time, very polite and pleasant driver who was able to answer any questions asked. Clean and comfortable minibus showing very informative documentary on the way there. The guide was not very clearly spoken, mumbled a lot and at times you could only hear his heavy breathing rather than what he was saying. We felt that he almost 'trivialised' Auschwitz, saying several times that Birkenau was much worse. We 'skipped' several of the blocks and the whole tour felt very rushed - in fact we 'overtook' at least two groups - and there was no opportunity to ask clarifications or questions or to stop and read the information boards around the site. At Birkenau the same guide did not even have a sound system this time so it was impossible to hear what he was saying and again it was very rushed, several of our party struggling to keep up with the group, with no opportunity to ask questions. He walked along the 'wrong' side of the loading ramps so we did not have an opportunity to look at one of the train carriages that was on the other side. Directions for meeting/pick up during the tours were confusing 25 November 2018 Salt Mine: Again, picked up from our hotel promptly, very pleasant and polite driver and clean vehicle. Directions of where to meet etc. were very clear. This time we were taken on the tour by a professional guide - and it showed! An excellent experience which we would heartily recommend.

You cannot fail to be moved by both sites. The guides are extremely professional and a wealth of information.

we had booked our transfers via jet 2 so we did not know which company would be used for the transfer when we existed the arrivals area there was a driver waiting with a card with our name on it.we had a mini bus to ourselves with a very friendly and knowledgeable driver called martin transfer time was about 20-25 mins the following day we had arranged a trip coincidentally with the same company to the salt mines and oskar schindlers factory ,there were 6 of us on this trip again outstanding service from Jacob highly recommended company
