Description

• Based on a linocut illustration • 148 x 148mm, 350gsm uncoated FSC paper • Supplied with an envelope • Also available in a pack

This design features a reproduction based on one of my linocut illustrations. The linocut is hand-printed before it is digitised and composed to produce the final artwork ready for commercial printing. I like to combine traditional handcraft skills and modern digital technology.

All the illustrations I produce are based on scenes or places I have seen. One of my favorite subjects to illustrate is motoring. I have always liked the Morris Minor and particularly the Traveller with its wooden back.

The card can also be supplied as part of a pack. I like to illustrate different subjects so a pack can contain a mixture of images to appeal to all your friends and family.

The card size is 148 x 148mm (that’s the same height as the short edge of A5). The cards are blank inside for your own message and are supplied with a white envelope.

Printed on 350gsm uncoated paper, it has a soft finish and tactile quality. The printers I use are in England, is an FSC certified business and have ISO14001 certification for their environmental performance.

Another British motoring icon, the Morris Minor, "Moggie" to all who love them was built in remarkable numbers from 1948 to 1972. For many the Traveller or "Woody" version is the most characterful and this scene was repeated many times in the three decades of production.
