Open 7 days a week, our sites are cleaned daily and patrolled by staff as well as monitored by CCTV. Park Mark approval means those sites have met the national standard for UK car parks that have low crime and measures in place to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.

There are disabled and parent and child spaces close by and cycle hubs and electric vehicle charging points at some sites.

Our tram service operates a "turn up and go" service, with trams from every 7 minutes during the week (every 3 minutes within the City Centre) and from every 10 minutes at weekends and bank holidays.  Displays at every stop will let you know when the next tram is due to arrive.

Ducal Palace: Museum & Galleries

Inside the Ducal Palace there are a range of galleries & exhibitions to inspire all ages about the History of Nottingham. This includes: The Nottingham Lace Gallery, the Craft Gallery, Museum & Art collections in the Long Gallery, the Museum of the Mercian Regiment, the Rebellion Gallery and the Robin Hood Adventures, which contains interactive & immersive displays.

Visitor centre

In the visitor centre, our team are on hand to assist with your admission to the Castle. Inside the shop & café there are a range of options for you to refuel with seating available. The visitor centre is located on arrival to the Nottingham Castle.

Adventure play area

Fun in the Castle! Children will love to swing, slide, climb, jump and play through our historical amazing creative timber play structures. Let them bring their imagination to action into a play time on our fortress!

Cafés & shop

We have two cafés on site that offers a range of options for you to refuel with seating available. Our shop is located in the visitor centre.

For visitors to enjoy regular walks & wellbeing in the heart of the city of Nottingham. The site offers an annual pass so that visitors can access the grounds on an unlimited basis.

We offer the full range of travel vaccinations in Nottingham, including yellow fever, rabies, typhoid, japanese encephalitis, meningitis, cholera, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, tetanus, tick-borne encephalitis as well as malaria medication.

LEGOLAND unveils new displays ahead of holiday village opening

Model makers have spent 300 hours creating the creatures

Model makers at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have been busy recreating creatures to go on display at the UK’s first LEGO woodland themed holiday village this May. With less than a month to go until the highly anticipated opening of the £35m LEGOLAND Woodland Village development, the team have been stepping up their brick-building efforts to bring to life a selection of woodland animals in all shapes and sizes of LEGO.

From a family of Fallow Deer and miniature Rabbits to the iconic Red Kite, Ducks and even Ducklings, the creatures will go on display when the new accommodation opens for the first time to guests on Friday, May 24.

Thousands of LEGO bricks were used by model makers who spent over 300 hours in total creating the models which have been installed on the enchanting LEGO nature trail. Helen Bull, Divisional Director at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “The countdown is on to the opening of the UK’s first LEGO themed holiday village which will offer families the perfect blend of comfort and adventurous play surrounded by nature.

“Woodland Village will offer a unique short break experience where guests will be able to spot an amazing array of new LEGO creature models built by our incredibly talented team. Families may even be able to catch a glimpse of a real Deer or Red Kite, which will be particularly exciting for Junior Rangers during their stay.”

The LEGOLAND Woodland Village will feature 130 lodges, 20 camping barrels, an on-site restaurant and a family entertainment hub amongst trees on a 10-acre site.
