RHOA Jamaica trip sees cast at plush $300 a night Ocean Eden Bay hotel

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back in 2022 with its fourteenth season. Episode 14 airs on August 14th and sees the cast take a trip to Jamaica. In a preview of the episode ‘Montego Baes’, Drew Sidora expresses that she’s pleased with her room at the hotel, so let’s take a look at where the RHOA Jamaica trip takes place and the hotel where they’re staying.

Kandi, Kenya, Shereé, Monyetta, Marlo, Drew and co are all enjoying some time to relax on a trip hosted by Olympic athlete Sanya. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was born in Kingston, Jamaica and takes the cast members to the national stadium where she previously raced.

RHOA: Sanya hosts the Jamaica trip

During RHOA season 14 episode 13, the ladies and their husbands head to Jamaica for a trip hosted by Sanya.

While they make time for activities and sightseeing, and a spot of racing on the track, there’s also some tension at dinner which fans weighed in on via Twitter .

The couples trip sees Marlo and Kandi butt heads and Drew sustain another injury.

Ocean Eden Bay hotel

Of course, the RHOA cast wouldn’t be staying just anywhere. They opted for the Ocean Eden Bay hotel in Montego Bay for their trip.

The hotel’s website states that it is Adults Only accommodation, is five-star and is located right on the beachfront.

One night in the hotel’s Ocean View Room costs $295 while a Junior Suite would set you back $328.

The hotel offers a spa, restaurants and it’s 24-hour all-inclusive.

RHOA has been to Jamaica before

As the cast enjoys some time in Montego Bay during season 14, it’s not the first time that the RHOA ladies have been to Jamaica on the show.

RHOA fans may remember when the season 8 cast stayed at the Moon Palace Jamaica All Inclusive Resort in Ochos Rios.

The rates at Moon Palace Jamaica are slightly higher at around $350 per night compared with the Ocean Eden Bay hotel where the cast is staying in 2022. Moon Palace also gets 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor whereas Ocean Eden Bay gets 3.5 on the site .

'RHOA' Season 14: Kenya fights the Ross's on their Jamaica trip

Kenya Moore of ' The Real Housewives of Atlanta ' is causing a stir with her flawless twerking talents amid the ruckus with the gang on their trip to Jamaica. A new preview clip for the forthcoming episode shows a fight between the Rosses and her.

The group of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' is returning to Jamaica for the second time. Sanya flies the women and their partners to her home island, where she is working in cooperation with the interactive exercise software iFIT. The visit is a breath of fresh air in 'Atlanta', which had grown stagnant. Fans, on the other hand, are weary of the endless Marlo vs Kenya and Shereé versus Drew cycles they've been locked in for most of the season.

The trip appeared to be off to a good start in a sneak preview from next week's episode, with everyone aboard the yacht, and Kenya showing off her twerking abilities. There was also footage of the girls racing and having a good time on the track. Nevertheless, like with many 'Real Housewives' trips, things seemed to flare up soon.

The women appeared to be beginning to doubt Sanya's character. Although it's unclear what the women were arguing over, Kenya Moore remarked emphatically, "That's how you treat your guest?" "Don’t try to tell me how to come at you when I’m upset,” Sanya said.

Sanya's husband, Aaron Ross, had to step in at the end of the video to make it clear that he did not want any of the women to insult his wife.

Todd defends his wife Kandi in the last episode

On the August 7 episode of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta', Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton got into a heated altercation on their first night in Jamaica. While discussing his work, Marlo Thomas, who grew up as a foster child, expressed deep feelings over Ralph's decision not to adopt his wife Drew Sidora's child. During the meal, Drew explains there is "no blueprint for how to do this," but Marlo continues to push back, which Kandi finds odd. Marlo claims she is a foster child and that things are different for her, and she and Kandi begin squabbling.

Marlo took care of her nephews Michael and William for several years before sending them to live with other relatives due to burnout. Kandi argues that her guy does not feel belittled, despite Marlo's admission that "kids are off limits, you do not do that." Marlo claims Kandi looks after her guy. Todd and the others think that's a low blow, and they continue to argue. Kandi maintained that she has cared for not just her own children but also "other people's kids," which is why she can connect to Marlo's position, adding that she has never told them to "f**k out."

Todd eventually spoke out, saying, "I know you—how you came into this circle. You bought your way into this circle. Nobody was your friend," Marlo asserted, alluding to Phaedra Parks, who was a regular on the show from Season 3 through Season 9. "None of them was your friend at the time," Todd insisted. "I watched."

Kandi claims she met Todd on the last day of the Africa trip 11 years ago, while Marlo claims she's a nobody known solely in Atlanta... However, no one agrees.

The girls' trips of Real Housewives are legendary, with 2022 having some of the most drama-filled to date.

The Real Housewives are gearing up for season 3 of Ultimate Girls Trip as fans await the casting announcement that will bring franchise favorites together as they travel. The girls' trips from each location have become an important marker of big things to come each season and often include some of the biggest fights of the year, with 2022 being no different.

This round of travel has shown the various casts at their highest and lowest points and tested their friendships more than ever. But they also showed the women coming together unexpectedly, with some having heart-to-heart moments that healed friendships that fans thought were unsalvageable.

RHOBH - Aspen, Colorado

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill season 12 had some show-stealing moments . The biggest topic of conversation was the Aspen trip which was meant to be a lavish getaway and ski trip but quickly turned into a disaster. This trip marked the beginning of Kyle and Kathy losing the connection they had been trying to rebuild since the previous season and opened the show to speculation since the cameras were not around when Kathy ranted to Lisa Rinna about Kyle and the rest of the cast.

Erika also went on the defensive when Crystal and Garcelle shared their opinions about her earrings, which may have been evidence in her fraud case. Overall the trip was more about feuding than having R&R as Kyle had planned.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City went on a trip early in the year, but the ladies couldn't travel internationally since Jen was under travel restricted for the entire season.

The trip started as a healing experience with Whitney leading the charge and hoping all the women would have a fun time, but the drama exploded when last season's conflicts were brought up. Meredith and Lisa fought as rumors about Lisa were brought to light, and Heather turned on Whitney after years of being her best friend. This started a season-long feud that is still going.

RHSLC- San Diego, California

San Diego was supposed to be a stress-free, fun trip for the ladies of Salt Lake City, but it quickly turned into the site of the best storyline lines of season 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City . Between Jen turning on Angie K. and dividing the house because of who they felt was in the right to Heather's mysterious black eye, the trip turned into as much of a disaster as the Arizona trip.

With Heather and Whitney fighting on the trip more seriously than they did before, their friendship may be over for good. But Jen and Angie have made up for the time being, which bodes well for Jen as she enters the most stressful time of her life.

RHOP — Miami, Florida

Wendy vs. mia and candiace vs. everyone.

Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Potomac has had some of the best storylines of the series, with the girls' trip to Miami being one of the most entertaining. From the start, it was clear that the ladies weren't happy with their accommodations and thought Mia did a poor job planning the trip for Karen. If that wasn't enough, Wendy and Mia get into a fight the first night at dinner that has everyone taking sides and almost causes some of the women to go home early.

The drama about Robyn turned up the heat as she exposed Candiace for ranting about the other women online and upset everyone. This only furthered the rifts already present in the group and are sure to reappear later in the season.

RHOM- Key West, Florida

Lisa drops a bombshell; alexia starts a fight.

Just a few hours from their homes, the ladies of Miami were whisked off to Key West in Nicole's private plane and planned for a relaxing weekend away, but that was quickly derailed when Lisa dropped a bombshell: Lenny was openly having an affair.

The women were quick to rally around Lisa and offer anything they could, from advice to plans on how to get revenge, and made Lisa feel like she wasn't alone. With Lisa going home early, the group was rattled, resulting in a few women fighting and starting new rifts.

RHOA- New York, New York

Kandy's jokes and shereé's heartbreak.

The trip to New York was a girls' trip that became a couples trip for the cast of Atlanta and put Kenya in a bad place since she was the only one without a partner besides Shereé, who was waiting on her boyfriend to get back to her. The trip was quick and gave everyone a chance to support Kandy's becoming a playwright.

However, it also made some uncomfortable as they felt Kandy took her jokes too far. Even though there was drama in the group, that was all overshadowed by Shereé being stood up on her date, ending her relationship.

RHOA- Kingston, Jamaica

Fights every night, drew getting hurt.

The RHOA trip to Jamaica should have been a fun dive into Sanya's culture for the cast and their significant others, but it quickly turned into a mess as Drew got hurt and couldn't participate in many activities, making her feel left out.

On the other hand, Sanya and her husband had work obligations that some of the cast wanted to attend, but when they showed up late, they were omitted, which made them feel slighted. Ultimately the island getaway turned into everyone airing their grievances with everyone else.

RHOC- Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Noella and heather continue to fight.

As the group's planner, Heather organized a trip for everyone to Cabo San Lucas, except Noella, who was not invited until Gina asked Heather to invite her despite their feud. The trip seemed tame compared to other locations, with the ladies having the freedom to go about their business and do what they wanted when they wanted.

But that didn't last long as Noella and Heather butted heads over the gift Noella gave Heather's daughter. Noella seemed to fight with most of the people on the trip, which made the host uncomfortable and ultimately left everyone with a sour taste in their mouths.

RHOC- Aspen, Colorado

Everyone fights.

Like their California counterparts, the ladies of the OC jetted off to Aspen for a cold weather getaway that would cool the tempers from the Cabo trip that were still simmering under the surface. Even though Emily hoped the trip would be calm, everyone brought up feuds at dinner, and Heather tried to take over as host even though Emily put the trip together.

Overall, this trip continued the path laid in Mexico and pushed the boundaries of everyone's friendships,​​​​​ and solidified that Noella and Heather won't see eye to eye anytime soon.

RHOD- Nuari Island, Abu Dubai

Chanel and caroline feud.

Nuari Island was supposed to be an island getaway for the ladies of Dubai and celebrate Caroline Stanbury's status as a newly married woman, but that didn't bode well with Sergio, who thought the trip would include him. As everyone settled in, it seemed all the old feuds were put aside in favor of enjoying the grand scenery.

That didn't last through dinner, Chanel and Caroline battled each other over everything from their work ethic to making money to how much they rely on their husbands. Overall the trip exhausted everyone emotionally more than restoring them as was the intention.

RHONJ- Jersey Shore, New Jersey

Questions about louie linger.

A trip to the shore seemed like a good idea as the temperatures rose in Jersey, but of course, it would be The Real Housewives of New Jersey without some iconic feuds . Teresa felt slighted by the group as they discussed the rumors surrounding her fiancé and was ready to call out anyone who thought they were true instead of coming to her and Louie.

The entire trip becomes dominated by arguments over Louie. It causes the group to be divided even more than they already were, as Teresa and Melisa continue their feud that lasts the whole season.

RHONJ - Nashville

Margaret and teresa have a showdown.

Teresa and Margaret were already fighting the tension between them as they joined the other ladies on their trip down south, but it all came to a head when everyone was supposed to be having a good time learning to line dance. This feud had been bubbling under the surface since the trip to the Jersey Shore, and viewers knew it was only a matter of time until they squared off again.

Every day of the trip, Teresa and Margaret found something to conflict over, and eventually, it tore the group apart as everyone took sides.

The cast of this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), a wildly successful TV show on Bravo, recently wrapped a three episode vacation in Jamaica at the island’s newest five-star hotel, Ocean Eden Bay.

The trip was hosted by newbie RHOA cast member, Olympic champion, Sanya Richards-Ross . During their stay, cast members ventured throughout the island, and even visited the track at the National Stadium where they ran a race in honor of Richard-Ross, and were welcomed by Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport , Olivia “Babsy” Grange.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Richards-Ross is a retired track and field athlete who competed internationally for the United States, primarily in the 400-meter sprint. She is well-known for winning gold at the 2012 Olympics and also as a 2009 world champion, 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, and 2005 world silver medalist.

It was befitting that the cast, who are known for their lavish taste, chose to stay at the newly opened Ocean Eden Bay hotel, considering the caliber of the property.

Ocean Eden Bay is 40 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, and sits along the beach in the small town of Coral Spring, near Falmouth. The 24-hour, adult-only, all-inclusive features 11 top-tier dining options and exclusive seaside accommodations. Though the property only just opened its doors in November 2021, it has already established itself as among the most beautifully designed resorts the island has to offer.

The property is owned by H10 Hotels, a Spanish hotel chain with operations in Spain, Mexico, parts of Europe and the Caribbean. Ocean Eden Bay is their second major investment in Jamaica, with the first being the adjoining family-friendly hotel, Ocean Coral Spring.

Things have come full circle for our favorite Atlanta ladies. One of the most surprising things to come out of the latest cast shakeup seems to be the budding friendship between the Lady of Moore Manor and the matriarch of Chateau Shereé. I was delighted to see the duo team up and poke fun at their real-estate feud for the  RHOA x Dr. Strange commercial  and tonight’s episode proved that the two may work just as well as allies as they do enemies.

We get our first look at the completed version of Chateau Shereé, and I’m pleasantly surprised with how beautiful it came out; Kenya herself even gave it a bravo. We even get to see the two kiki in Shereé’s (finished) basement about Marlo’s Lé Archive event/gala/museum.

Shereé tells Kenya the tea about what Marlo has apparently been saying behind her back. We get a wonderful call back to the white refrigerator era (which has permanently ruined the apartment searching for me), and there are claims that Kenya rented a Range Rover from Lisa Raye. Kenya swaps her tea, laying the tracks down for an interesting storyline, relaying that there’s drama with Shereé and Drew’s shared assistant. Allegations of owed money and overall messy behavior. All typical  RHOA  drama but enough to start stirring the pot. If Shereé and Kenya are going to be friends, I’m happy to get Kenya versus Marlo early in the season.

Speaking of Miss Marlo Patrice Hampton from St. Petersburg, Florida, this season, we see an actual storyline and character development for one of the franchise’s most well-known friends. I, for one, love seeing her as a muntie (mom and auntie). The way Marlo is with her nephews humanizes her and brings a sweet element to the show. I’m always a sucker for the kids on  Housewives , so seeing her taking care of the boys and sending one of them off to homecoming put a smile on my face.

Now that Marlo is a full-time cast member, I’m interested to see her relationships with the other ladies develop. She and Kandi got off to a rocky start when Marlo was first introduced as Phaedra’s friend in season four. Kandi was actually one of the first to address Marlo’s status as a sugar baby/escort. Marlo then fired back with claims that Kandi herself was a sugar mama. Turns out, as we learn at Kandi’s Halloween photoshoot, they knew each other before the show, with Marlo dating Kandi’s god-brother. But, it seems like the two want to put the past behind them as Marlo voices her desire to get the families together.

I especially like their scene together because they touch on an interesting conversation happening within the Black community. When Marlo says she worries about spoiling her nephews, Kandi pushes back and reminds Marlo that it’s okay to give them a good life. She says: “Why does being Black always have to equate to struggle?” She elaborates in her confessional, saying, “People always feel like they gotta come up from the gutter. And that’s not necessarily true. I think we can still instill a work ethic in our children and still have them set up for greatness.”

She points out that the other kids at Marlo’s nephews’ school are pulling up in Mercedes, so why should her boys not have the same standard. Let’s be clear, I have my own opinions about lavish displays of wealth in the times we’re in, but I’m not looking to  Housewives  for commentary on late-stage capitalism. What I can say is, as an off-brand nepo baby myself (thank you for the free college tuition I received due to my father’s job at the university), I agree that there’s nothing wrong with using your privilege to set your kids up for success.

Speaking of getting a bag, Kandi is possibly the poster child for multiple streams of income like the Taurus queen she is. I literally had zero idea that she was producing a  Broadway play , but shout out to her since the Amsterdam News  reported  that it was “one of the most important plays of the 21st century.” (???) I guess we’ve come a long way from  A Mother’s Love . Regardless, Kandi’s bag chasing continues to put a strain between her and Todd. We find out that Todd has a leftover condo in New Jersey from a previous relationship. I’m a little bored with Kandi’s storyline so far, which is par for the course in the past two seasons. But the word on the street (a.k.a.  Real Housewife  Twitter) is that Marlo will make Kandi Yams work for her peach, so we’ll see.

Meanwhile, Drew reminds us that boring drama in your relationship is more desirable than egregious drama, at least when you’re living it. I would say that it’s better to watch the mess on the other side of the screen, but Ralph’s incel behavior is intolerable. The walking red flag is no better in the couple’s sophomore season, Drew even read the definition for gaslighting in her confessional and agreed that it mirrors her situation. She claims Ralph “puts her on tumble dry,” where he twists situations around so much she doesn’t know what’s going on. Sounds healthy.

It gets worse. Ralph plans a surprise anniversary date for Drew (at his tailor’s shop) that quickly unravels. Once again, Ralph gives us a master class in gaslighting that I will now break down step-by-step.

• To fully set yourself up for success, you need to paint yourself in the most positive light possible.  That night, Ralph decides to be Prince Charming. Cue fancy date night and private dinner.
• Establish yourself as the alpha in the situation, and make sure it’s clear that you’re in control.  This is where Ralph shines. As Drew attempts to bring up issues in their relationship, he reassures her, saying that in his life things go in this order: God, Ralph, then wife and kids. Then says he would like to use the night to enjoy each other’s company and not discuss their issues.
• Turn the tables and let your partner know that the issue lies with them.  Ralph, the walking contradiction that he is, says that their therapist Dr. Ken says that Drew throws “zingers.” Drew replies that Dr. Ken says Ralph is a “maniac,” thus giving Ralph ammunition to turn the tables.
• Make yourself the victim, making your partner question their sanity.  Ralph performs this final step beautifully: when Drew Googles the definition of “maniac,” he tells her to ignore Merriam-Webster, and the licensed therapist, as he is the authority on what is and isn’t a maniac. According to Ralph, the therapist said that merely because he’s from the East Coast, and it’s not fair even to bring that into the conversation (he brought Dr. Ken in first).

The gaslighting king shows us why he’s the master, triggering Drew to cry and even issue him an apology. He tells her he regrets the date and “doing stuff for you is not the move.” Let’s give Ralph a slow clap for his astonishing performance, as usual.

Thankfully, Sanya and her family make up for having to endure Ralph and Drew. We love a big Jamaican family fighting over beef patties! I’m a second-generation Barbadian, so the Caribbean flavor  The Housewives  has been providing is refreshing and reminds me of my own home. Garcelle from Beverly Hills and Guerdy from Miami are representing Haiti, and now we have Sanya from Jamaica. Love seeing this representation in the franchise.

Overall, the episode wasn’t explosive or insatiably entertaining, but it does a good job laying down the foundation for the season. Next week seems like the drama picks up, and I cannot wait to see that white woman yell, “this is a kid’s birthday party!”

• Tonight we saw the first Househusband link-up of the season. Todd, Ralph, and Sanya’s husband, Aaron Ross, meet at one of Kandi and Todd’s restaurants for a guy’s night out. I might be in the minority, but I find the men’s scenes boring and awkward across all franchises (yes, this includes Jersey). But watching Ralph attempt to explain this assistant situation is hilarious.

• Can we talk about how funny editing has been so far? The sequence of every time Ralph has gaslit Drew was a great touch. And I promise I don’t like the editing just because production shows how dumb Ralph sounds. Last week when they played the mock voice-over advertisement for Marlo’s archival fashion business, and she said, “I rode a lot of dicks for these pieces,” it gave me a good chuckle.

• As the story about Ralph and his assistant continues to unfold, it turns out he fired her but remains in personal contact. I don’t know about y’all but isn’t that worse? But, according to Ralph, there are  soooooo  many women he’s in contact with, so it’s okay.

• Surprisingly, I’m not noticing Cynthia and Porsha’s absence. Well, not too surprisingly regarding 50 Cynt. Honestly, I think bringing back Shereé and promoting Marlo, with Kandi anchoring the group, was an effective Hail Mary for the show. However, I won’t act like I don’t wish we could have gotten more of Falynn’s side of the Porsha x Simon situation, but we can’t get everything we want.

Welcome back to another week of messy peaches! It’s the last day of Sanya Richards-Ross’s trip in Jamaica, but we pick up at the dinner table after a heated argument between Kenya Moore and Sanya . Aaron Ross had enough of the ladies coming for Sanya and stands up to defend his wife! “I don’t rock like that. Don’t f*** with my wife,” Ross said before leaving the table. Sanya goes after Ross and the couple leaves the rest of the group for the night. Kenya and Shereé Whitfield voice their point of view before Kenya wonders how Marlo Hampton managed to make it to Sanya’s iFit video shoot. Kandi Burruss calms the table down by explaining it’s just a miscommunication and they all get caught up in their work from time to time. Ross felt he needed to step in and save Sanya and Shereé  thinks the women aren’t allowed to call each other out anymore.  

Drew Sidora defends Kenya’s perspective and Sanya thinks Kenya is whack but she’s surprised at Shereé ’s behavior. Kenya’s not letting it go and believes Sanya should’ve apologized instead of catching an attitude. Kandi shifted the conversation to how much fun the ladies had on the boat and while Kenya’s complaining, Marlo’s playing an invisible violin. The table continues agreeing to disagree while they finish their meal, while Ross and Sanya cool off before rejoining the group. Sanya thanks everyone for coming to dinner and provides instructions for the next day’s adventures. As the crew heads to their rooms, Drew gets a little special treatment as the husbands carry Drew and her bum leg to safety. The next morning has arrived and the crew’s waking up and getting ready for the day.  

Sanya leaves for iFit but appoints Marlo  as the temporary hostess in her absence. Shereé’s chatting with her designer in her suite and Shereé seems to be on top of her business right now. With three weeks left, Shereé ’s running into multiple obstacles but is determined to make She by Shereé a reality. Although Shereé  had to change the date of the fashion show, she’s not pressed because she has the venue she loves! Meanwhile, Marlo and her florist/friend Adrian meet Kandi , Todd , Monyetta , and her husband Heath downstairs as Shereé  boards the sprinter.   Kenya joins the group as Marlo’s geeked to tell everyone that she’s the temporary hostess, but much to Marlo’s surprise, no one reacts or cares, LOL.  

Sanya made arrangements for Shereé  to come to the video shoot and I wonder how Kenya will feel about being excluded. Sanya’s working the camera as Shereé  arrives just in time. Sanya thanks Shereé for coming although Shereé basically missed the entire shoot. Shereé  claims the driver got lost, but do we really believe her? Shereé  begins to lose her voice as Sanya continues explaining her work. Back at the resort, Kandi and Kenya are paying Marlo zero mind as Kandi  wonders why Sanya elected Marlo as temporary hostess. Marlo tries to collect the group to head to their event and it’s clear that no one takes Marlo seriously. Marlo pretends not to be hurt as everyone finally makes a move toward the next destination. Sanya and Shereé have come to an understanding but Sanya’s disappointed and fed up with Kenya at this point.  

Sanya’s upset that Kenya  expected Sanya to call Kenya while she was working. Sanya makes a point by saying that Kenya wouldn’t have called Sanya if Kenya was working on ‘Dancing with the Stars .’ Shereé tells Sanya to shut Kenya down or else Kenya will continue coming for her. I mean are Shereé  and Kenya really friends? Cause in this moment, it doesn’t seem like it. The group is on the sprinter heading to the next spot as Kandi tells everyone that Drew and Ralph won’t be joining. They arrive at Chukka’s Eco Park at Good Hope for lunch and the setting is beautiful! Shereé ’s already seated as everyone sits and Kandi asks whether Sanya’s joining them. Shereé  lets the ladies know Sanya went to freshen up and should be down soon.  

Shereé tells the group about Sanya’s workday but conveniently left out that she missed most of the shoot. Shereé  tells the group that Sanya apologized, and Shereé understands it was all a mix-up. Kenya’s not mad for being left out today and thinks it shows more about Sanya’s conflict resolution skills than anything. The group drinks fresh coconut water while all this beautiful food is laid out before them. Kandi and Shereé discuss their activities in High School and while Shereé ’s voice is holding on for dear life, birds begin pooping on their table! Everyone tries to move their plate, but the birds came to make their mark! Kandi stands up to finish her plate while the rest of the group struggles LOL.  

As lunch wraps up, Marlo  asks the group to go by the pool, but Kenya and Kandi don’t budge. Marlo throws a little shade but continues to the pool and eventually everyone makes it poolside — but not before Todd tells Marlo that they don’t sit in the general population. Todd , Kandi , and Kenya head to a private cabana, and Marlo’s face says it all! Marlo begins venting to Monyetta since she has no one else to talk to and Monyetta stays neutral. Kenya tells Kandi that Shereé  won’t let her into the fashion show and Kenya feels rejected. Marlo reiterates her point of view from the conversation with Ralph and Marlo won’t let the mouse go! Marlo thinks Kandi should’ve stayed out of it but honestly, Kandi was right! Shereé and Monyetta agree that Kandi overstepped and inserted herself in Marlo’s conversation, but I disagree.  

Marlo says she’s taking accountability, but what she really wants is for the girls to gang up on Kandi . Monyetta thinks Kandi  cares about Marlo’s nephews and Shereé  hopes the two can have a conversation. Marlo’s tired of hosting, but luckily, Sanya’s ready and the crew heads to the next destination. The group is going rafting and everyone’s excited but Kenya . Kenya thinks these activities are for older people but continues on in good spirits. Everyone puts their life jackets on while the lifeguards explain the rules. As everyone floats away to relax, Shereé  and Kenya begin chatting about Sanya and their issues.  

Sanya’s talking to Marlo about the same thing, and I begin to realize that none of these ladies can let anything go! Sanya thinks Kenya is passive-aggressive and Kenya thinks Ross’s actions were intimidating and scary. Shereé  thinks Ross was being protective and Sanya thinks Kenya’s  using her martial issues to get out of conflict. Ralph’s taking care of Drew in the room while the rest of the group continues relaxing on the river. Kenya checks in on Drew before dinner and Drew can’t make it since her leg is swollen. Everyone’s getting dressed as Marlo calls to check up on her nephews. Monyetta meets Kandi in her suite as Todd heads down to the bar. Monyetta tells Kandi she had some questions for Marlo and Kandi thinks Monyetta is too nice.  

Kandi’s over Marlo’s  fake apologies and Monyetta tells Kandi that Marlo thinks Kandi started things. Monyetta explains Marlo’s side and Kandi still doesn’t care! Kandi felt she spoke the truth and that Marlo’s a hypocrite. Everyone makes it to dinner and looks amazing for their last night in Jamaica. Marlo and Kandi are wearing the same blouse and immediately Kandi’s annoyed. The group gets a rundown of their meal, and the ladies appreciate the ambiance that Jamaica brings. Sanya wants everyone to go around the table and list their highlights of the trip. Shereé  enjoyed going to the track, and Marlo thanks Shereé for cheering her on while she raced Drew . Shereé then urges Marlo to talk to Kandi and Marlo asks Kandi if she felt where she was coming from.  

Marlo felt that Kandi went below the belt and Kandi continues her food while listening to Marlo’s BS. Kandi loves Michael and William, and Marlo thinks Kandi was wrong for telling her business. Kandi only apologizes if Marlo felt Kandi was spreading her business, but Kandi feels she was speaking facts. Kandi  lets Marlo know that she’s not Michelle Obama, so “If you go low, I’m going low with you.” Todd just wants to be left out of the mess and Marlo takes Todd’s cursing personally. Kandi just made her point and Marlo claims to have nothing but love for Kandi .  Marlo states that she won’t disrespect Todd again.  

Ross leaves in the morning due to work, and after the husbands leave, the real drama begins. Kandi peeps Sanya’s energy is down and thinks she’s just tired. Sanya’s irritated and asks Kenya “What’s up?” since Kenya keeps shifting in her chair. Kenya  laughs at Sanya’s word choices and Sanya thinks Kenya has something to say to her. Sanya thinks Kenya disengages and is ungrateful for all Sanya has done for her. Kenya thinks Sanya’s ego is on fire and reiterates that she felt disrespected by Sanya . Sanya brings up Kenya’s tardiness, and soon, this friendship goes off the rails. Sanya thinks Kenya’s rude, and Kenya thinks Sanya’s acting like Drew by trying to end the conversation.  

Sanya tells Kenya that she wiggles out of conflict and Kenya doesn’t know what Sanya’s talking about. Sanya thinks Kenya’s being defensive and Kenya thinks Sanya’s inarticulate in explaining herself. Sanya begins backing down and it’s clear she’s no match for Kenya . Kenya wants to move on and doesn’t want to talk about this again. The two settle things at the table and Kenya admits to wanting to be friends with Sanya . They come to an understanding, but before ending the night, Kenya wants to know if Sanya bought her a birthday cake. No, LOL. Sanya did NOT buy the cake, SMH. Before they head back to the states, Marlo  and Kandi  make up over Jamaica’s KFC and somehow everything’s good now. Come back next week loves to catch up on a brand-new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta !

Real Housewives of Atlanta Take Off to Jamaica, Stay at Moon Palace

Last night Bravo TV debuted the highly anticipated Season 8 Real Housewives of Atlanta ( RHOA) trip to Jamaica.  Peter Thomas , RHOA hubby to Cynthia Bailey is originally from Jamaica and put together the trip to Moon Palace Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios where the ladies filmed and luxuriated.

If you could see past all the nasty arguments between the ladies, you could see just how beautiful Jamaica is (always one of my favorite islands) and also how inviting Moon Palace Jamaica Grande appears to be..  Next week the gang is heading to Kingston for some real Jamaican vibes and food!

Cast members along for the couples trip (although Kim Fields didn’t get that memo) included BFF’s Phaedra Parks and  Porsha Williams, Sheree Whitfield (and ex-hubby Bob WTF), Kim Fields with hubby children and nanny, Cynthia Bailey and not so BFF Kenya Moore.  NeNe Leakes who left the show after seven seasons surprises the group along with hubby Greg.  A very pregnant Kandi Burruss and hubby Todd Tucker had to sit this one out.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast Vacation at Ocean Eden Bay hotel in Jamaica

TRELAWNY, Jamaica – The cast of this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), a wildly successful TV show on Bravo, recently wrapped a three episode vacation in Jamaica at the island’s newest five-star hotel, Ocean Eden Bay.

Trip Host: Sanya Richards-Ross

The trip was hosted by newbie RHOA cast member, Olympic champion, Sanya Richards-Ross. During their stay, cast members ventured throughout the island. They even visited the track at the National Stadium where they ran a race in honor of Richard-Ross. Best of all, they were welcomed by Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia “Babsy” Grange.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Richards-Ross is a retired track and field athlete. Sanya competed internationally for the United States, primarily in the 400-meter sprint. She is well-known for winning gold at the 2012 Olympics. In addition, she is also a 2009 world champion, 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, and 2005 world silver medalist.

Ocean Eden Bay

It was befitting that the cast, who are known for their lavish taste, chose to stay at the newly opened Ocean Eden Bay hotel. Especially considering the caliber of the property.

Ocean Eden Bay is 40 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. It sits along the beach in the small town of Coral Spring, near Falmouth. The 24-hour, adult-only, all-inclusive features 11 top-tier dining options and exclusive seaside accommodations. Though the property only just opened its doors in November 2021, it has already established itself as among the most beautifully designed resorts the island has to offer.

'RHOA' Got Romantic On Peter's Jamaica Trip

Once the 'mercial shoot finally came to an end, the Real Housewives of Atlanta Jamaica trip took a very surprising turn. Not only did the trip seem like an amazing time in Peter's homeland, filled with off-the-beaten-path spots for food and entertainment, but there was a lot of love flying around as the trip came to an end. Not only did Kenya's boyfriend say he loved her, but Cynthia admitted that she's still in love with Peter, and Porsha considered the possibility that her Miami fling, Oliver, could be a serious romantic prospect. Shereé's husband Bob actually seemed to really want his ex-wife back. And seeing how bad their relationship used to be when they were last on RHOA just goes to show the healing power of the island.

Seriously, after watching this RHOA trip, I'm convinced that if your relationship is in trouble, all you need to do is round up another three or four couples and all climb Dunn's Falls together. Kenya's boyfriend, Matt, may be younger than she is, but he spent most of the trip hanging out with the older members of the RHOA -husbands group, eventually leading to Matt's admission that he "loves" Kenya. And while they seemed a little awkward, judging from her Instagram, it looks like Kenya and Matt are still going strong, despite skepticism from the rest of the cast.

And even those who didn't need a little shot of romance made some loving choices on the episode. Phaedra may have attended the trip on her own, but she seemed very in love with herself, and appreciative of her friendships with the rest of the cast. In a way, NeNe also made a declaration of love of her own too — when she promised that she won't be going anywhere, as either Cynthia's friend, a RHOA castmember, or both (it wasn't totally clear).

And there was one declaration of love that seemed like it would never happen, and that's the friendship between Kenya and Cynthia, which is still in pretty bad shape. But there's finally hope, now that Kenya apologized, and the two are going to head back to the ATL by turning over a new leaf.

‘RHOA’: Why Drew Sidora Couldn’t Walk During Girls Trip

Drew Sidora struggled to walk in the latest episode. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star suffered a severe injury that made it difficult for her to walk during a group trip to Jamaica. This caused her to seek emergency medical help. On Sunday’s episode of the Bravo series, the 37-year-old fell when she raced Marlo Hampton at the National Stadium.

The fun moment quickly took a serious turn. Drew is a former track and field star. She wanted to race Marlo, who is an Olympian champion. She admitted that she shouldn’t have done it in the first place. She made the wrong move and hurt her ankle. Read on to learn more about Drew’s injury.

What happened to Drew Sidora?

The RHOA star explained what happened in her confessional. The Step Up actress realized that she couldn’t move her ankle. It just gave out on her. Her husband Ralph Pittman asked her to remove her shoe so he could get a good look at it.

Drew Sidora hurt herself during her athletic career, and didn’t want the same injury to happen again.

“I shouldn’t have been doing it,” Drew Sidora said. “I took the next step and I immediately felt my ankle gave out. I knew immediately this is a ruptured Achilles again.”

It involved three surgeries and a long recovery process. There is some hope that Drew will recover from this other injury. It just make her some time to walk again.

RHOA star deals with health setbacks

During that time, Drew Sidora had her mom staying with her. She was helping out with the kids. At the time, the COVID-19 pandemic reached its peak. Her mom had to stay with her even longer while she was filming RHOA .

In an interview with Decider , Drew admitted that it caused some drama between them. There were moments when she wasn’t afraid of sharing her opinion. Drew also found it hard for her and her husband to get some privacy away from her mom. They left that candid moment on the show.

If you've been scrolling your Instagram feed, you might have noticed a bunch of familiar faces from   The Real Housewives of Orange County   posting from inside an airplane cabin in their seats, teasing where they were going... and then never actually revealing it. 

"Who wants to guess where we are going now?"  Vicki Gunvalson  wrote in her caption, geotagging the Houston airport, tagging  Shannon Beador and using hashtags including "#RHOC," "#trip," and "#seeyounextweek."

The  Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa , located in the island nation's popular resort destination and cruise ship port of Montego Bay, hosted the ladies. There, hotel staff welcomed the ladies with  traditional Jamaican Mento Band and Jamaican Rum drinks — layered in the colors of the national flag, red, yellow, and green.

The first night, they dined at  Orchid Restaurant in their hotel, and enjoyed reggae and Jamaican dance. 

The next day, the ladies split into  two groups to enjoy the hotel’s Grande Spa, or the hotel beach to swim and lounge. (Talk about tough choices.) They also spent the day rafting on the  Martha Brae River, and finished off with dinner  at the Sugar Mill Restaurant.

The next day, they rounded out their activities... by taking the  Mystic Mountain chair lift to a Bobsled simulation ride! Naturally, they did some s ouvenir shopping at Mystic Mountain along with lunch. Then it was off for a hike up  Dunn’s River Falls, and a boozy dinner — rum tasting was in order — at the hotel's beach. 

The spent their last day having lunch at  the Sand Bar at Doctor’s Cave Beach, rounding out the day at the beach with  swimming and frolicking on the floating water trampoline (hello, so fun!) amid beach vendors selling fresh-cut coconut water and rum, plus enjoying aloe foot rubs on beach chairs. (Yaaasss to all that too.)

To toast their last night together at sunset, the ladies all convened for a fine-dining supper at Marguerite's. Cheers to another epic adventure in paradise!
