In an effort to offer travel agents the opportunity to experience St. Maarten and learn more about the destination, the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau (STB) with the support of the St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA) will be launching the St. Maarten Travel Agent Program for the duration of 3 months commencing September. With this initiative, travel professionals in the North American travel trade industry are invited to partake in this program and visit the destination to immerse themselves with everything St. Maarten. Participating travel agents will be provided with a list of special rates from on island partners to enjoy a variety of accommodations, land and watersport activities, restaurants and much more. This program and it?s participating local partners will be promoted throughout a trade database of over 25.000 + travel agents on a continuous basis during the course of the program, encouraging travel professionals to take a trip to St. Maarten to enjoy enriching and educational experiences to be shared onward to their clients, friends and family.

Island of St. Martin | All-Inclusive

Known as Saint Martin to the French and Sint Maarten to the Dutch, this friendly island is the smallest island in the world and is inhabited and divided between two nations - France and the Netherlands.

It is home to beautiful beaches, lively nightlife, casinos, shopping, and its locally produced rum - making it a wonderful place to visit.

Philipsburg

As the capital of the Dutch side of Sint Maarten, Philipsburg has lots to see and do.

As well as a great collection of beautiful white-sand beaches, you can enjoy some retail therapy in the shopping street, a great selection of food and drink at the port, and a multitude of tourist attractions - such as the St. Maarten Zoo and Museum.

Marigot is the main town and capital of the French side of St. Martin. It's home to a vibrant blend of French and Caribbean culture, as well as a great selection of boutiques and shops selling everything from clothing and cosmetics, to jewelry and souvenirs.

There are fabulous dining options in the bistros and restaurants of Marigot, and you should make a point of experiencing the bustling Marigot Market. The best days to visit the market are Wednesday and Saturday it's a great place to find locally sourced food, drink, and crafts.

Fort Louis overlooks Marigot Bay and gives visitors the opportunity to explore some of the history this fascinating island has to offer.

SXM Music Festival

Make the most of the festive nightlife on the Caribbean Island of Saint Martin, thanks to the SXM Music Festival.

The five-day-long celebration takes place at various locations in Saint Martin, including open-air clubs, beaches, jungles, villas, and boats - it's a must-visit for tourists!

St. Maarten Heineken Regatta

The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is the perfect event for boating fanatics. The four-day event sees hundreds of sailboats compete.

The event is also the Caribbeans' first "clean Regatta" with the banning of styrofoam products and straws, biodegradable products being used, recycling stations set up, paperless management of the event, and a cleanup event that rewards people for collecting garbage.

Simpson Bay Beach

Simpson Bay beach is located on the Dutch side of the island on the southwestern shore close to the Princess Juliana International Airport.

Great Bay Beach

Great Bay Beach is located in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten's capital, and offers a two-mile stretch of stunning white sands.

Explore the boardwalk and its countless shops and businesses, or stop at one of the many bars and restaurants to enjoy sea-view dining.

Beach bars make sure you are well-catered for on the sand with refreshments, loungers, and other amenities.

Watch the cruise ships float by, enjoy the sun, or go for a swim at this fantastic beach in the heart of Dutch Sint Maarten.

Orient Beach is found on the northeastern shore of French Saint-Martin and is probably the most famous beach on the island and boasts state-of-the-art amenities.

Sun worshippers will be able to enjoy the beach sun loungers, and swimmers will find the waters great for swimming thanks to the protection afforded by the reef of Green Key.

This is one of the more lively beaches because it is so accessible, and the restaurants, bars, and cafes ensure there is a buzz long into the night.

If you are looking for a more active beach experience, you will be able to rent watersports equipment here too.

It is worth noting that the south end of the beach is known for being popular among naturists, so, depending on your preferences, you may want to stick to other areas.

Commission Structure

Our typical commission is 10% of the rental rate, with select properties offering commissions from 5 to 7.5% in certain destinations like Antigua, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Europe. Commissions are displayed on our platform when quoting travel dates.

Commission are paid at the end of a guest stay. Agents also earn reward points that unlock future rewards or bonus payments.

Travel Agent Registration

1.1. This Travel Agent User Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between St Martin Blue LLC, a company registered in North Carolina, with its principal place of business at 1209 Churchill Downs Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina ("St Martin Blue"), and travel agent , an independent travel agent or agency ("Travel Agent"), collectively referred to as the "Parties".

1.2. By accessing and using the St Martin Blue website and its booking tools, Travel Agent agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. If Travel Agent does not agree with any of these terms and conditions, they should not use St Martin Blue's website or services.

Booking Tools and Services

2.1. St Martin Blue grants Travel Agent access to its booking tools and services solely for the purpose of facilitating bookings for accommodations and travel services offered by St Martin Blue.

2.2. Travel Agent shall use St Martin Blue's booking tools and services in accordance with any applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

2.3. Travel Agent shall not use St Martin Blue's booking tools and services for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes, including but not limited to any unauthorized access, hacking, or data breaches.

2.4. Travel Agent is strictly restricted from utilizing St Martin Blue's booking and search tools and services to secure reservations for a property with any other entity, including other companies, online travel agencies (OTAs), rental platforms, or by directly contacting the property owner. Violation of this clause will result in suspension of privileges and permits St Martin Blue to seek compensation for lost revenue.

Proprietary Information

3.1. Travel Agent acknowledges that St Martin Blue's website, booking tools, and associated content are the exclusive property of St Martin Blue and may be protected by intellectual property laws.

3.2. Travel Agent agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or disclose St Martin Blue's proprietary information, including but not limited to website content, without prior written consent from St Martin Blue.

Financial Data

4.1. In the course of facilitating bookings, Travel Agent may have access to financial data, including but not limited to payment information and commissions related to guests and transactions.

4.2. Travel Agent agrees to handle all financial data in strict compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations.

4.3. Travel Agent shall not disclose or use financial data for any purpose other than facilitating bookings and related transactions.

Confidentiality

5.1. Travel Agent shall maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained from St Martin Blue and its clients and guests, including but not limited to booking details, pricing information, and customer data.

Termination

6.1. St Martin Blue reserves the right to terminate Travel Agent's access to its booking tools and services at any time for any reason, with or without notice.

Commissions

7.1 The agent portal showcases the commissions that have been earned. Commissions are disbursed upon the conclusion of the guest's stay. US-based agents must complete a W-9 form and provide banking details for commission payments, while non-US agents will receive their commissions via wire transfer.

7.2 If a guest cancels their reservation, commissions will not be granted unless the full payment has been received and is non-refundable.

7.3 If a guest receives compensation for problems encountered during their stay, the commission will be adjusted proportionally and deducted accordingly.

7.4 The travel agent acknowledges and agrees that in order to qualify for commission payments, they must be directly responsible for originating a lead or reservation with clients seeking travel services provided by St Martin Blue. Origination, for the purposes of this clause, refers to the act of actively engaging with potential clients, either through direct communication, marketing efforts, or other means, resulting in the client expressing a genuine interest in booking travel services through St Martin Blue.

Miscellaneous

8.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.

8.2. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of North Carolina, and the Parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in North Carolina.
