We both emailed and WhatsApp-ed each other a number of times confirming all the details. Being pick-upped at our hotel was a wonderful convenience, especially as we had only arrived in India several hours prior. Our driver was competent and navigated the wild streets of Delhi with precision and competence. Tasting the pani puri, samosas, sweet jalebis, and other unfamiliar foods under the supervision of a native Indian was fun. The Bad: Our guide seemed a bit inexperienced with Western tourists. At times he walked so quickly through Old Delhi I was truly concerned that someone in our group of 4 was going to get lost. He ignored my request to stop for water so we had no drinks to help alleviate the heat of some of the spicy foods. On the return to the hotel he continued to ask each one of us to give him a positive review -- right then and there. "I'll send you the link right now...did you do it? Are you done?" The pressure was unnecessary, unprofessional, and annoying. The stops at the spice shop and the rug shop were a waste of our time and clearly his way of forcefully pushing goods on us that we were not interested in purchasing. I would advise you to be very aware of what they are promising to make certain you experience it. ≡  49 - 30 days before date of departure: 50% of the total cost.

≡  29 - 20 days before date of departure: 100% of the total cost.

≡  Important: The booking stands liable to be canceled if 100% payment is not received 20 days prior to the departure date and the received amount will be fully forfeited. The Balance no returned means won't get back to you.

Air ticket cancellation charges for special fares if paid by the tourist are NON-REFUNDABLE. Tour Itinerary:

Day 01 - chandigarh - shimla (120 kms / approx 3 -4 hrs drive).

Our driver will pick you up from Chandigarh railway station / airport and then will leave for Shimla

Day 02 - In Shimla – Kufri – Nature Park – Fun Campus & The Mall Road

After breakfast we will leave for Kufri. There we will visit Fun Campus for adventure activities, like Snow Skiing during snowfall in winters, Sky Swinger, Bungy Ejection, Zip Lane, Burma Bridge etc on direct payment basis. On return we will take you to Shimla Mall road where you can enjoy on Ridge and enjoy delicious food there. Later we will drop you in hotel.

Day 03 - Shimla - Sundernagar Lake - Pandoh Dam - Hanogi Temple – Kullu - Manali (250 kms / Approx 8 - 9 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we will leave for Manali and in route you will see Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Temple and Kullu. Upon arrival at Manali check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 04 - In Manali - Hadimba Devi Temple – Club House - Tibetan Monastery & Van Vihar

After breakfast, we will explore Manali by local sightseeings like - Hadimba Temple, Club House, Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar and Vashisht Village. Later in evening you can explore Manali mall road. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 05 - In Manali – Solang Valley Visit

After breakfast, we will take you to Solang Valley where you can enjoy adventure activities like - Paragliding, Cable Car Ride, Horse Riding, Snow Scooting, Skiing etc in winter. on direct payment basis. Later in evening we will drop you in Hotel.

Day 06 - Manali – Dharamshala (250 kms / Approx 8-9 hrs drive)

After breakfast we will check out from Manali hotel and leave for Dharamshala. On arrival check in to hotel. Evening free to stroll around local market. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.

Day 07 - Dharamshala – Dalhousie (120 kms / Approx 4 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we will check out from Dharamshala hotel and leave for Dalhousie. Dalhousie has some fingerprints of British Raj and it's building and houses. After reaching Dalhousie check in to hotel.

Day 08 - In Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie Excursion

After Breakfast, we will leave for Khajjiar. People also call it Mini Switzerland. Later in evening, we will take you back at the hotel, where you can relax and enjoy.

Day 09 - Dalhousie – Wagah Border - Amritsar – Golden Temple (230 kms / 7 -8 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we will drive to Amritsar to see Wagah Border's Retreat Ceremony. Thenafter, we will visit Golden Temple and then Jallianwala Bagh (where massacre happened in 13th April 1919 and many Bhartiya get killed by Britisher general Dyer. Overnight stay at Amritsar.

Day 10 - Amritsar – Chandigarh Drop (230 kms / Approx 5-7 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we will leave for Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station drop.

• Visit to Solang Valley from Manali in winter will be only possible with our cab up to vehicles are allowed by the local administration and further from there towards Solang Valley with the 4X4 local cab on direct payment basis on the spot if required to visit.
• Rohtang Pass visit is on extra cab cost. Rohtang Pass remains officially closed from November to May every year. Atal Tunnel visit depend on road condition if road is open then we can go to Atal Tunnel.
• Khajjiar road from Dalhousie side in winter most of the times will remains officially closed via Kalatop side. Khajjiar visit via Chamba side will be on extra cost at the spot if required to visit.
• Reservation during peak times (Christmas, New Year, National Holidays etc.,) may be subject to supplementary charges.
• Rooms at hotels are available only from 14:00 on arrival day till 12:00 on departure day. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out desired.

This travel package will help you visit the historic city of Amritsar as well as the picturesque mountain towns Shimla, Manali, Dalhaousi, Mcleodganj and Dharmsala of Himachal Pradesh in fun filled 10 days.  The travelers can enjoy this vacation almost all through the year except a few months in monsoon and winters

Day 02: Shimla – Jakhu – Kufri – Mall Road. (50 km) After breakfast, drive to highest hill of Shimla to visit Jakhu temple (2455 meters.) dedicated to Lord Hanuman and enjoy the panoramic views. Next stop will be Kufri for it’s views and horse rides. You can also visit Himalaya Nature Park nearby to take a look at some endangered Himalayan bird species.Reach back to Shimla in evening to enjoy a relaxing evening on Mall Road. Visit Christ Church.

Day 03:Shimla – Ghaghas – Sundernagar – Mandi – Pandoh – Kullu – Manali. (260 km) Leave for Manali via route which will take you through Mandi and Kullu. Latter is called Valley Of Gods. It will be a long drive and you will reach Manali by evening and checkin the hotel for rest and freshening up. Rest of evening free.

Day 04:- Manali – Solang – Rohtang Pass – Manali (104 kms) (4-5 hours) Get in to car for the thrilling ride towards the famous and scenic Rohtang pass (3978 meters). You will pass through and stop at Kothi, Marhi, Rani Nala, see Byas Kund and a few other attractions. Drive back in evening to Manali hotel.

Day 05:- Manali Local Sightseeing (30kms) (4-5hrs) This day will be for local sightseeing in Manali as you visit Old Manli, Club House, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery, Manu’s Temple, Hidimba’s Temple and Vashshishth Kund. Latter is the site for some relaxing natural hot water baths where you can soak in the sulfurous water. It’s considered a cure for some skin diseases.

Day 06: Manali – Mandi – Palampur – Dharamshala – Mcleodganj (250 kms) (8 hours) (1350 meters) You will Manali early morning and start driving towards Mcleodganj. On way, you will stop at Mandi and Palampur, famous due to it’s tea gardens, adventure sports and Baijnath temple, which is beleived to be thousands of years old. Night stay will be in Mcleodganj or nearby Naddi.

Day 09: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Chamba – Dalhousie (96Kms) Khajjiar is often called India’s Mini Switzerland. A small lake is one of major attractions. At a little distance from the lake. an old temple of Khajji Nag which was built in 12th century attracts many visitors. The sanctum of the temple has been beautifully carved from wood in considerable detail.

Day 10: Dalhousie – Amritsar – Golden Temple (190Kms) After breakfast drive towards Amritsar to visit the famous Golden Temple and it’s massive charitable kitchen. Later, that drive towards Wagah border post to witness the evening border ceremony before taking a train or flight.

Once you receive the Hotel confirmation from our staff, the client can reconfirm with the hotel for their reservation.

We would require 100% advance payment for bookings made for November, December and January, due to the high peak season.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled from 00 to 10 days before the check-in date 100% booking amount will be charged.

If cancelled from 11 to 20 days before the check-in date 70% booking amount will be charged.

If cancelled from 21 to 30 days before the check-in date 30% booking amount will be charged.

No refunds for unused nights or early check-outs.

No refund for booking made from 15th December to 15 January

All refunds are processed by the method of payment used in the initial transaction, except in the case of cash payments where the refund is processed through Cheque or online transfer.

Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali

Today full day excursion visiting Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall). Later in evening Walk through town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery. Hadimba Devi temple-It is small temple situated in the dense forest is very interesting . Hadimba is said to be the wife of Bhima from the epic of Mahabharata. Vashisht, it is an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashisht hot baths where a natural sulphar spring is piped into a modern bath -house. Dinner and overnight.

Manali – Chamunda – Dharamshala (260 km)

After breakfast, proceed for Dharamshala. En-route visit Chamunda Devi Temple. Check in to the hotel. Evening visit Budhist Monastry, Bhagsunag Temple, Enjoy the natural beauty of Dharamshala. Overnight stay at hotel.

Dharamshala - Amritsar (250 kms)

After breakfast drive to Amritsar. Strait on arrival visit Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh. In evening Bagha Border. Overnight stay at hotel.

Amritsar - Delhi (450 kms) 9 hours drive

Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar

Upon arrival in Amritsar, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take some rest and then visit the Golden Temple. Later, explore the Jallianwala Bagh, a historic site of a tragic massacre. In the afternoon, you have free time to chill out. In the evening, around 3 PM, proceed to Wagah Border to witness the Closing Ceremony. The ceremony starts at 5:30 PM and involves a military practice by the security forces of India and Pakistan. It includes a parade, lowering of the flags, and a retreat. After the ceremony, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar to Dalhousie - Local Sightseeing (210 Kms, 7 Hours)

After breakfast, leave for Dalhousie. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed for local sightseeing in Dalhousie. Explore the scenic beauty of this hill station. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 3: Dalhousie Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Dalhousie. Visit the mesmerizing Khajjiar, known for its emerald, green meadow and thick forests. Enjoy the breath-taking mountain views from Lakkar Mandi. Return to the hotel to stay at night in Dalhousie Hotel.

Day 4: Dalhousie to Dharamshala (110 Kms / 4 Hrs By Surface)

Check out from the hotel and drive to McLeod Ganj (Dharamshala). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple, and Tibetan Monastery and explore local market. Stay overnight at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 5: Dharamshala - Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Jawalamukhi Temple and Chintpurni Temple, two renowned Shaktipeeths. Also, visit Kangra Town. Night accommodation at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 6: Dharamshala to Amritsar Drop (220 Kms, 6 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Amritsar by road. In time, you will be dropped off at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour ends with sweet memories.

We had a great time in all the 3 places.The itinerary was well planned and all the major tourist spots were covered.Also some extra sight seeing attractions such as Kala top walk,Norbulingka monastery ,Laxminarayan temple and Kangra museum to mention a few were covered and were really beautiful. All the hotels were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and always ready to help.Breakfast ,lunch and dinner menu was quite well thought of and enjoyed by all age groups. Our tour manager Mr.Akshay Dhuri was really well versed with the entire terrain and very efficiently and meticulously planned the entire trip even when we had one day less.He took care of every little need to the last detail and ensured that we have maximum comfort and fun in the entire trip.Last but not the least we had the most comfortable ride in the mountainous and hilly regions in our Innova with the most patient ,ever smiling and extremely experienced driver ,Mr Narendra without whom this entire trip wouldn't have been as smooth as it was.

Itinerary (Day Wise)

Amritsar – dalhousie (2 nights).

Tour guests will arrive at Amritsar Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival meet your Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Dalhousie – tiny tinsel town spread across five hills near the Dhaulandhar mountain range. Later we have some free time to relax. In the evening we have a short Meet and Greet session.

Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Chamba – Dalhousie

Today we proceed to Khajjiar – also known as Mini Switzerland filled with natural beauty and picturesque landscapes. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Zorbing and Horse Ridding etc. at an additional cost. Later we visit Khajjiar Sanctuary famous for Deodar Forest, Grasslands and an easy going hiking trail which leads to untouched forest and a mesmerising view of Pir Panjal ranges. In the evening, we stroll along the Ravi River and enjoy Boating at Chamera Dam.

Dalhousie – Dharamshala (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Dharamshala – a hillside city surrounded by cedar forests located on the edge of the Himalayas known as the home of Dalai Lama. En route we visit Kangra Fort – the largest fort in Himalayas built atop a hill with a sweeping view of the Kangra valley. We then visit Chinmaya Tapovan – an ashram at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges in the Kangra Valley. Here we visit the meditation hall. A small walk to reach the Ashram through the dense pine forest offers a panoramic views. Upon arrival at Dharamshala free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

• Night Stay in Dharamshala
• Two Tea/Coffee and dry snack en route to Dharamshala

Today we explore Dharamshala. We take a photo stop at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. We then experience a ropeway ride known as Dharamshala Skyway offering stunning ariel views of the scenic town. Upon arrival we stroll around at the famous McLeod Ganj – a beautiful town nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery has a prominent Tibetan influence. Spend some time exploring McLeod Ganj. You can go shopping at the Tibetian Bazar. Later take a photo stop at Dalai Lama Monastery (subject to operation) – serene Temple complex known for its ornamental façade and vibrant prayer halls and we visit Saint John's Church – a Victorian era church built in the 18th century and Bhagsu Naag Temple – believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself. Here we enjoy a small walk in the Himalayan Ranges, feel the freshness in the air while we walk through this picturesque paradise and witness the beautiful sunset in the Himalayas.

Dharamshala – Amritsar (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Amritsar. Upon arrival we visit Jallianwala Bagh – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919 and Partition Museum – world's first Museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. We then visit Golden Temple – also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism, here we also see Akal Takht – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa. Golden temple at night is certainly a treat for the eyes & soul.

Today we visit to Attari Wagah Border (subject to operation) – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flags ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959. We then have free time for shopping.

Amritsar – Amritsar Farm (1 Night)

Today morning we visit the Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum, built to showcase the supreme sacrifices made by the Punjabis while serving in the armed forces. Later we proceed to Amritsar Farm. Here we enjoy the local cuisines of Punjab. Here we indulge in the local experience of Farm, wherein, we can enjoy the Bullock Cart Ride, Tractor Ride, followed by the Walking Tour of the Farm and the Dairy Farm.

Day 02: Dalhousie

Day 05: Manali

Day 06: Rohtang Pass

Rohtang pass is 51kms from Manali on highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. There are a beautiful sight of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river flows down in the Lahaul valley.

Day 01 Arrival Amritsar

Arrive Amritsar Railway Station. On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Check in hotel. Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 02 Amritsar - Dalhousie

After breakfast. Start your full day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar, Afternoon drive to Dalhousie On arrival in this Himalayan hill resort check in at the hotel. Day 03 Dalhousie

After breakfast full day visit to Rohtangpas - a famous snow point. Enjoy Ice Skating and photography. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 08 Manali
