First SA Specialist course SA Specialist: Essentials
You have 90 days to complete the SA Specialist: Essentials course – study in your own time, when it suits you … as long as it’s completed within the three months.
Second SA Specialist course SA Specialist: Experiences
Once you’ve become an SA Specialist by completing the Essentials course, you qualify for the video-rich SA Specialist: Experiences course, which exposes you to a series of fantastic South African experiences. Choose one experience, or choose them all – it’s up to you. There’s no time limit on this one.

Exhibitors may enter the halls from 09h00.
Applications to exhibit at Africa’s Travel Indaba opened on 30 November 2023. The applications are available on-line only and cannot be e-mailed, faxed or downloaded from the website.
Please log onto www.indaba-southafrica.co.za .
The smallest stand size available is a 3 x 3 = 9m².
The stand rates are available in the Exhibitor section of the Africa’s Travel Indaba website.
Early Bird payment terms: 100% payment due before 15 March 2024. Standard payments terms: 40% deposit due on receipt of tax invoice. 40% payment is due by 29 March 2024. 20% final payment is due by 26 April 2024.
Roving exhibitors are not permitted at Africa’s Travel Indaba. If roving exhibitors are found selling their services at Africa’s Travel Indaba they will be escorted off the premises.
The Durban ICC does not permit external caterers and can be contacted directly for your catering requirements onsite. However, the Durban ICC is willing to receive requests and review on an individual basis.
Dates for the opening of the buyer registration to Africa’s Travel Indaba will be advised in the course of the year and available online only - www.indaba-southafrica.co.za .
There are shuttles available with specified routes and specified times, the Shuttle Schedule will be available to view on the website from April 2024.

A GENERAL NOTICE CALLING FOR SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION
FROM TOURISM BUSINESSES IN TERMS OF SECTION 6(2) OF THE
TOURISM ACT NO. 3 of 2014.
Ms. Patricia de Lille, MP, the Minister of Tourism, hereby, in terms of section 6(2) of
the Tourism Act No. 3 of 2014, determine that:
Tourism businesses in all the provinces of the Republic of South Africa whose
primary business activities fall under the following subsectors:
- Accommodation;
- Restaurants and Similar Services;
- Exhibitions and Special Events;
- Attractions and Activities (including Entertainment, and Beauty Lifestyle Businesses);
- Travel Agencies, Tour Operators and Other Related Services;
- Passenger Transport Services;
- Tourism Information Services;
- Cultural Services; and
- Other Tourism Related Services
must submit the following information related to their businesses:
