TASH SULTANA Announces 2023 North American Tour

This will be the first time North American fans will have to see new music performed live.

Since they broke through into the Australian music scene more than a decade ago, TASH SULTANA has been nothing less than a musical force.

The gender-fluid multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter, engineer and entrepreneur has carved out every step in their musical journey over the last 15 years. This has taken them from performing open mics night all over Australia, busking the streets of Melbourne to releasing platinum records, accumulating billions of streams and selling hundreds of thousands of concert tickets worldwide.

TASH has continued to rocket up the charts and win awards across the globe including the Rolling Stone (AU) 2023 Global Artist of the Year.

Following the news that they will be touring Europe this year, TASH SULTANA has just announced they will be headlining another series of North American shows from August to October 2023. Visiting some cities they have never performed in before as well some huge festivals, TASH SULTANA is back.

"New Cities, New Dates, North America ... I'm Coming Back," TASH says.

TASH recently released the first single "James Dean," from their upcoming EP due out later this year. This will be the first time North American fans will have to see new music performed live.

"James Dean" is a powerful and soulful song about self-reflection and transformation. It's a heartfelt ode to learning who your true friends are and having the courage to cut ties with those who don't add value to your life. The song is driven by a strong guitar riff and a steady beat, while TASH's passionate vocals entice you to reflect on the relationships you have and how you can make the necessary changes to move forward in life.

TASH began playing the guitar at the age of three after being gifted the instrument from their late grandfather. From there TASH began to pick up other instruments such as piano, keyboard, synth, bass, drums, percussion, beat making, sampling, beatboxing, trumpet, saxophone, flute, mandolin, oud, harmonica, lap steel and panpipes. TASH developed their own unique style of playing involving percussive and finger tapping style guitar coinciding with a vocal range stretching five octaves. TASH and their team also designed a custom loop station which took over two years to build to meet the needs of the intricate and one-of-a-kind performance style.

It all began with the refusal to conform to normal society; this pushed the young artist into pubs and clubs and then eventually onto the streets of Melbourne to busk, where they harnessed crowd stopping performances on Melbourne's famous Bourke Street. From there, a viral bedroom recording of "Jungle" in 2016 skyrocketed the artist off the street and in front of the world.

TASH has since broken attendance records at sold-out global arena tours, selling out the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the second time in just five minutes. In 2019 alone, TASH sold over half a million tickets across the globe. TASH's second album, the #1 ARIA-charting TERRA FIRMA, arrived three years after the ARIA-winning debut album FLOW STATE.

In 2022 TASH released a special MTV UNPLUGGED (LIVE IN MELBOURNE) album featuring live performances recorded at Melbourne's Iconic Chapel off Chapel. The record is an intimate look at an artist thriving in their natural element. TASH's MTV unplugged performance was the most successful of any Australian artist to date, having their performance shared in over 160+ different countries.

I don’t even know where to begin... AMAZING!!!!!!! Everything about it was great! What a show! Highly recommend!! Bucket list concert!!! My fiancé bought us tickets for my birthday and it was the best birthday gift ever!! Loved how she recognized fans from other shows and had them turn the lights on so she could see everyone. Also I was like 5 feet away from catching one of her drum sticks! So close lol that would have been so cool ha. Better luck next time. She loves her fans n her fans love her!! Can’t wait for her to come to riverside theatre in Milwaukee Wisconsin again!!

One of the best concerts that I have been. The way that she makes you feel all those emotions and the fact that in each song that she plays in the concert is changed as she she felt like it is f***ing amazing. She is my favourite artist and I came from Turkey for this concert. If you are thinking whether or not going to her concert: Just buy the f***ing ticket you won't be dissapointed. If you are dissapointed just message me and we will talk about what is wrong with you :D. She is just a one man band and capable of playing every instruments and knows how to touch your soul because she is also feeling it while playing (Not anything like any Pop concert you will go to hear the same shit that you will hear in spotify). It will be the experiment that you will remember your whole life.

Tash Sultana is coming back to North America for a 2023 tour.

The 29-date outing kicks off on August 22nd in San Diego. From there, the Australian multi-instrumentalist will perform shows in cities like Vancouver, Kansas City, Chicago, Cleveland, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and New Orleans. Additionally, Sultana will appear at Thing in Port Townsend, WA; Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park, NJ; and Format Festival in Bentonville, AR. Check out the full schedule below.

Tickets to Sultana’s North American tour go on sale Friday, April 28th via Ticketmaster . Once tickets are on sale, fans can look for deals at StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

TASH has continued to rocket up the charts and win awards across the globe including the Rolling Stone (AU) 2023 Global Artist of the Year.

Following the news that they will be touring Europe this year, TASH SULTANA has just announced they will be headlining another series of North American shows from August to October 2023. Visiting some cities they have never performed in before as well some huge festivals, TASH SULTANA is back.

"New Cities, New Dates, North America ... I'm Coming Back," TASH says.

TASH recently released the first single “James Dean,” from their upcoming EP due out later this year. This will be the first time North American fans will have to see new music performed live.

“James Dean” is a powerful and soulful song about self-reflection and transformation. It's a heartfelt ode to learning who your true friends are and having the courage to cut ties with those who don't add value to your life. The song is driven by a strong guitar riff and a steady beat, while TASH’s passionate vocals entice you to reflect on the relationships you have and how you can make the necessary changes to move forward in life.

TASH began playing the guitar at the age of three after being gifted the instrument from their late grandfather. From there TASH began to pick up other instruments such as piano, keyboard, synth, bass, drums, percussion, beat making, sampling, beatboxing, trumpet, saxophone, flute, mandolin, oud, harmonica, lap steel and panpipes. TASH developed their own unique style of playing involving percussive and finger tapping style guitar coinciding with a vocal range stretching five octaves. TASH and their team also designed a custom loop station which took over two years to build to meet the needs of the intricate and one-of-a-kind performance style.

It all began with the refusal to conform to normal society; this pushed the young artist into pubs and clubs and then eventually onto the streets of Melbourne to busk, where they harnessed crowd stopping performances on Melbourne’s famous Bourke Street. From there, a viral bedroom recording of “Jungle” in 2016 skyrocketed the artist off the street and in front of the world.

TASH has since broken attendance records at sold-out global arena tours, selling out the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the second time in just five minutes. In 2019 alone, TASH sold over half a million tickets across the globe. TASH’s second album, the #1 ARIA-charting TERRA FIRMA, arrived three years after the ARIA-winning debut album FLOW STATE.

In 2022 TASH released a special MTV UNPLUGGED (LIVE IN MELBOURNE) album featuring live performances recorded at Melbourne’s Iconic Chapel off Chapel. The record is an intimate look at an artist thriving in their natural element. TASH’s MTV unplugged performance was the most successful of any Australian artist to date, having their performance shared in over 160+ different countries.

These shows are just the start of another huge year for TASH.

Progressive jam giants Umphrey's McGee‘s return to Las Vegas for the seventh installment of the massively popular UMBowl production was marked once again by a stand-out tour closing dual evening extravaganza where all stops were pulled out and the power given directly to the fans, for better or for worse.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.

Since they broke through into the Australian music scene more than a decade ago, Tash Sultana has been nothing less than a musical force.

The gender-fluid multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter, engineer and entrepreneur has carved out every step in their musical journey over the last 15 years, which has taken them from performing open night mics all over the country, busking the streets of Melbourne to releasing platinum records, accumulating billions of streams, nominations across the globe, to winning awards and selling hundreds of thousands of concert tickets worldwide.

Tash creates, composes, writes, engineers and produces everything that is heard live, and on record. Tash is the band. Their now-famous busking sessions on Melbourne’s Bourke Street catapulted them into the eyes and ears of music fans everywhere, and a viral video of their early song ‘Jungle’ brought them international attention. Since then, it’s been nothing but a meteoric rise.

Their debut album Flow State landed in 2018 and quickly became Gold certified, and spawned Platinum and Gold records with singles ‘Mystik’ and ‘Murder to the Mind’.

In 2019 alone, Tash sold more than 500,000 concert tickets globally, and over the years they’ve notched up major international appearances at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Montreal Jazz Festival.

Acclaimed second record Terra Firma landed in 2021, and garnered widespread praise for Tash’s raw and reflective songwriting and ambitious musical arrangements. Like everything before it, the entirety of the record was carved by Tash – every instrument that was played, every bit of musical arrangement, every bit of production. But for the first time, Terra Firma saw Tash bring in a couple of close friends and collaborations to co-write – including Matt Corby, Dann Hume, Jerome Farah, and Josh Cashman.

Their extensive catalog has nearly broken the internet, having raked in billions of streams and counting.

Tash Sultana Extends 2023 Tour Dates: Ticket Presale Code & On-Sale Info

The phenomenal Tash Sultana has added 2023 tour dates.

The newly planned concerts are set in August and September at large-scale venues across North America. The Australian multi-instrumentalist returns to performing live starting in June with festival performances and headlining shows across Europe.

When do Tash Sultana 2023 tour tickets go on sale and what is the presale code?

For the new dates, the general public on-sale begins as early as April 28. Presales are currently underway for VIP packages, Artist, Spotify, Live Nation, and LN Mobile App. Local venues / radio presales will follow. Tickets for the previously announced shows are now on sale. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change.
