A host of beautifully manicured park and gardens; the Cubbon Park, Lalbagh , Cariappa Memorial Park and on the wilder side the Bannerghatta park, have earned Bangalore the epithet of the “Garden City “of India. This eye flattering greenery accompanied with lovely weather all year round once made this city the erstwhile pensioners’ paradise. Things have changed; the metro has fast transformed into the software capital of the world. A younger crowd of professionals from all over has thronged to make Bangalore their home giving it its energetic buzz extending to a vibrant nightlife complete with pubs, clubs and gastronomic treats. Shop till you drop at the popular areas of Brigade Road, MG Road Wood Street or the Page 3 Vittal Mallya Road before catching a bite in the vicinity. To get an insight into the religious and cultural splendor of Bangalore, pay your respects at the Bull Temple, St Marks Cathedral and St Mary’s Basilica and find your inner peace at the ISKCON Radha Krishna temple. Go further down history lane with a visit to Tipu Sultan’s Fort and Palace hidden within the busy KR market, the latter an experience within itself. Enjoy an auto ride, the most popular mode of public transport while you pass by the Vidhan Soudha, the seat of the Karnataka government. A word of caution; try to avoid the increasingly infamous traffic jams at peak hours while traversing this splendid city!

Bandipur and Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary Tour from Bangalore(ALL INCLUSIVE)
Hemender Singh did a great job at short notice organizing our four day trip around Bangalore with a private driver. The guides were excellent. He did have trouble booking us a jeep tour in Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary (it is a government organization) and communicated regularly with us while that was negotiated. We did get the jeep tours due to the great persistence of our driver Ganesh who was the key in making it such a great trip. We can't wait to be back and will include Cabrini in our next tour in 2025,

Cultural heartlands of 7 Days of South India tour
It was amazing trip the name of 7 Days of South India tour, and it was an incredible cultural journey that I will never forget. This tour truly takes you to the heartlands of South India, immersing you in the rich history, diverse traditions, and vibrant culture of this region. The tour started in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, and from the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the bustling streets, colorful markets, and stunning temples. Our knowledgeable guide Mr.Nadeem took us through the city, sharing fascinating stories and insights into the local way of life. Next, we traveled to Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient rock-cut temples and sculptures. Walking through this site was like stepping back in time, and I was amazed by the intricate carvings and architecture. Our guide was passionate about the history of the area and made the experience even more enriching. The tour then took us to Pondicherry, a former French colony, where we got a taste of the fusion of Indian and French culture. The quaint streets, colonial buildings, and delicious French-inspired cuisine were a delightful contrast to the rest of the trip. We also had the opportunity to visit Auroville, an experimental township known for its spiritual and sustainable living practices. One of the highlights of the tour was our visit to the city of Madurai, home to the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple. This temple is a true masterpiece of Dravidian architecture, and I was in awe of its grandeur and beauty. Our guide explained the significance of each part of the temple, and I was amazed by the level of devotion and spirituality I felt in this sacred place. The tour also took us to the backwaters of Kerala, where we cruised through the serene waterways on a traditional houseboat. It was a peaceful and scenic experience, and I got to witness the simple and traditional way of life of the locals living along the backwaters Our final stop was the beautiful city of Cochin, where we explored the historic Fort Kochi and its charming streets lined with colonial buildings. We also got to witness a Kathakali dance performance, a traditional form of storytelling through dance and music. It was a mesmerizing performance that gave us a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. Incredible South India
Overall, we were very pleased with this tour. It provided a fine introduction to south India , showing us a wide vareity of landscapes and historical sites. The driver, Loukesh, was excellent. Throughout there was a problem with the poor quality of spoken English, in particular on the part of the local tourist guides. Most of the hotels were adequate but in two cases we found them uinsatisfactory. (Details can be provided.)

This was an enjoyable half day tour of Bengalaru, well-suited to someone with only limited time in the city. Narayanan was a well-informed guide who brought the sights to life. Highlights were the Palace (no interior photos) and the Botanical Gardens (no cameras but phones allowed). The South Indian lunch was delicious.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in wildlife and nature. The tour was well organized and the guides were friendly and helpful. I definitely look forward to doing it again in the future. Destinations Bangalore, Mysuru, Kabini National Park, Bandipur National Park, Ooty, Coimbatore +4 more
