We had a great trip to Iceland in December. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He managed to make the best out of the limited daylight and we got to see all of the planned destinations and a few extras, without feeling as if we were in a hurry. The small group was fun to travel with. Communication always went smoothly. Would definitely book again.

Great Experience in Kirgisistan.

Great Experience in Kirgisistan. It wasn't really a group Tour as we only have been two, but this also did gave us some opportunities. The Tour was organised by the local company "Visit Karakol". They organised meals with local families, so we not only got to see the beautiful country but also got an idea about the people's life. Aidar our Tourguide was amazing. All in all the Tour is very expensive but an amazing and unforgettable event.

Incredible adventure

The trip was incredible. We received more than enough delicious food. The guide's english was perfect and they took good care of us. The accomodations were clean, warm and nicely located. I usually go solo backpacking and this was my first organized trip experience. I was worried that we would miss out on authentic experiences, but I was totally blown away by the trip and I like the concept a lot. We didn't worry about anything and simply enjoyed!

Great trip and with Triplegend you are in best hands!

It was such a great trip! There was so much to see an we collected many new memories :-) Triplegend is very well organized - they gave us a detailed packing-list, did all the planning and also helped us booking the best flights. But the most important aspect for me was that we had persons we could easily contact as well before the trip, as during it. This made everything very stressless and gave us convidence to start such a big, great trip. All in all it was a very advisable trip and a good decision to make it via Triplegend!

I did the trip to jordan and it was just amazing. Everything was very well organised, good hotels, nice people etc. The route covers all the highlights of this beautiful country. So you get to see a lot in a short period of time. What I also really like about Triplegend is the support of the locals and their companies. The Tourguide, Ash, did an amazing job aswell. Costa Rica - Paradise on earth

I participated in the trip in Costa Rica and had a wonderful time. We were a great group with wonderful people and we had a good and experienced guide who made sure everything went smoothly. On our trip we got to know an incredible amount of great places, spent a lot of time in nature and its animals and got to know the local cuisine. I can really recommend this trip to everyone!

Dear Leonie, thank you so much for your Feedback! It was a pleasure to have you joining our Costa Rica trip. Looking forward to many new adventures with you! Best regards, your TripLegend Team

Great trip!

What I really liked: extensive and very varied program, a good mix of culture, sightseeing and action, lots of contact with the locals, and very friendly and helpful staff (from the driver to the hotel staff). But the very best is our guide, Ashraf. He was very committed, enthusiastic, helpful and always in a good mood. He knows the country very well and was always able to answer our questions (whether about culture or history). A trip like this not only lives from the activities, but also a lot from the guide and you can't have a better one than him for Jordan :)

Just overall a great trip

I really loved the itinerary, it was a good mix between seeing wildlife and nature, having time to relax on the beach and learning about the indigenous culture. Having a local guide with us also helped so much. We had a very knowledgable, helpful and professional guide. A little adrenaline highlight was the rafting in the beautiful rainforest scenery.

Dear Christine, thank you so much for your positive Feedback and for joining one of our adventures again! Always a pleasure to have you on board. All the best, your TripLegend Team

I traveled with TripLegend a couple of…

I traveled with TripLegend a couple of months ago, some of the only few places that you could actually travel during these difficult times is Namibia. The staff of Triplegend was very informative in all the security measures we needed to take care of the whole way, everything worked really smoothly. We had a small group of 6 people, from all around Europe, we did not know each other before but by the end of the trip, I think I got to make really nice friends. Namibia is such a magical place, one of my favorite parts was definitely the wildlife at Etosha Park, and volunteering with some activities in the Sanctuary. What an experience!!

Date of experience : January 08, 2021

It was good

The trip was absolutely adventureous and wonderful and we did in a few days a lot of amazing stuff. Although there occured some issues right after booking which were quite annoying and timeneedy. The contact threw whatsapp isnt a good way and there were many misunderstandings. Dont book this trip spontanious! At least 6 werks before departure otherwise you cant have some of the promised experiences (or in our case not without a lot of nerves). The guide is a well educated and nice guy. He shows you a lot of fun stuff and we had a great time with him. We were offered a gift paid by triplegend and the guid brought us into an authentic store. Sadly the scarfs were made in India. In the end it seemed that the guide was very focused on not to offend his people but did not warned us when we were paying way to much on something (which we expectet a little). All in all was the trip really nice and I would recommend it to my friends.

Dear Daniela, thank you so much for your honest Feedback! We will do our best to improve in this regard. And we are again sorry for the misunderstandings before the trip. At the end I think you were able to do all the things you wanted to do and we are glad that you had an all in all nice trip! We would love seeing you again soon on one of our other adventures. NBA Legend Magic Johnson Calls Out Anthony Edwards For Disrespectful Remark

Anthony pasciolla | 8 hours ago.

NBA players love to bicker about which generation was the most skilled, with most pointing to the modern era.

Legends of the game, such as Magic Johnson and Mitch Richmond, take offense to the hate. Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is one of the latest to ruffle feathers by praising Michael Jordan en route to dissing the rest of the league's retired stars.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend, Johnson, made his opinion known about Edwards' comment, calling out his lack of hardware.

"You know, I don't never respond to a guy who's never won a championship," Johnson said during an event with analyst Stephen A. Smith. "He didn't win a college championship, I don't even know if he won a high school championship."

While Johnson's point is valid, Edwards brought the Wolves within three games of the NBA Finals in his fourth season. The 23-year-old also shined this summer with Team USA, proving he's soon to be a face of the league.

Here's what Edwards originally said about the NBA's older generations:

"I didn’t watch it back in the day so I can’t speak on it," Edwards shared in an interview with the Wall Street Journal . "They say it was tougher back then than it is now, but I don’t think anybody had skill back then. (Michael Jordan) was the only one that really had skill, you know what I mean?"

The Timberwolves did nothing but add talent to their roster this offseason, meaning Johnson's fireback is potentially short-lived.

Keegan Bradley adds to Mountain West legend with BMW Championship win

Was already in wyoming hall of fame before colorado victory.

Change Text Size

CASTLE PINES VILLAGE, Colo. – Mark Bradley planned a career as a fly-fishing guide when he hitchhiked to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in 1973.

Life intervened.

He would move to Vermont, become a golf pro and, most importantly, have a son. Mark and Keegan Bradley would play a lot of golf, including a game called Rider Cup/Walker Cup, in which young Keegan was afforded a cart ride if he hit a good shot but had to walk if not.

“He would be running behind the cart,” Mark Bradley said at the rollicking BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club, “and he’d be yelling, ‘Dad! Dad! But that was a Rider Cup!'”

Keegan Bradley, who will be a captain’s assistant at the Presidents Cup, Sept. 26-29, and the U.S. Ryder Cup captain next year, was deserving of all the cups, including the trophy, as he shot a final-round, even-par 72 to win the BMW Championship by a shot at Castle Pines on Sunday.

It was his seventh PGA TOUR title and moved him from 50th in the FedExCup – the last man into the field – to No. 4, as players prepare for the TOUR Championship to decide it all.

“I'm in a bit of a state of shock because there was a time a week ago about this time that I didn't think I was going to be coming here,” said Bradley, who made 14 pars, two birdies and two bogeys to convert his 54-hole lead into a victory. “I had to have a lot of magical things happen for me to just play in this tournament, and when I got here, I was so grateful just to be here. I played with a real sense of calm all week, which is not the norm for me.”

How did this happen? How did Bradley, who made it into the BMW Championship field by just 17 FedExCup points over Tom Kim, go out and win the tournament?

If there was a shot to remember, said Bradley’s caddie, Scott Vale, it was Bradley’s 5-iron into the par-5 17th hole. He had faced the same shot the day before but come up short. This time, the ball soared through the thin Colorado air so majestically, settling 16 feet from the pin for an easy two-putt birdie. “The best shot I’ve ever seen,” Vale called it. He even wrote it down that way in the yardage book, in all caps with three exclamation points.

Keegan Bradley’s clutch 71st hole approach is the Shot of the Day

He got no argument from his boss.

“That 5-iron was as pure of a golf shot as I've ever hit,” Bradley said. “… I was aiming at the tongue of the bunker, and I hit it right there. It's one of those moments when you realize you can hit these shots in contention when it matters most, and to be able to pull that shot off – I mean, for me that was the shot of the tournament and a shot that I'll remember forever.”

The birdie gave Bradley a two-shot lead going to the last, and he would need it, three-putting for bogey from just off the left of the green before thrusting his arms in the air as the crowd roared.

All week, players struggled to figure out yardages at altitude, but Bradley excelled here.

“We’re really good at elevation change,” said caddie Vale. “We’ve had all those numbers really dialed in. It just felt right, like it was going to be a solid week the way he was hitting it. You’ve got to eliminate the variables, which means being a good ball-striker. If you hit it thin, elevation isn’t going to help much. He hits it on the screws; we’ve got a formula.”

It didn’t hurt that Bradley is not just of the Northeast (Vermont and Hopkinton, Massachusetts), New York (St. John’s University in New York), and South Florida (he lives in TOUR pro-heavy Jupiter). He’s also of the Mountain West. Mark Bradley, who had never been on site to witness one of his son’s victories until Sunday, would move back to Jackson Hole again and continue his teaching career as Director of Instruction of Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club.

Keegan would visit Colorado’s neighbor to the north whenever he could.

Keegan Bradley shows off his home memorabilia room

“When I went to St. John’s, my college years, I would drive out to Wyoming and I would work at the golf course and I would play in the Wyoming State Amateur and the Wyoming Open,” he said. “I was out there for three summers, I believe. I would get done with school in Queens, get in my Ford Focus and drive for three days to Jackson and work all summer, play golf and fish and play in those local tournaments, and it was great.”

So great, in fact, that Keegan Bradley won the 2005 Wyoming State Golf Association Amateur and the 2006 WSGA Match Play Championship and is in the WSGA Hall of Fame.

Those victories would translate into success on TOUR, although not without some struggle and strife. Thrown by the ban on anchored putting, Bradley would endure a six-year win drought. It’s why he makes sure to celebrate his victories, he said Sunday.

“I always try to take a second to really enjoy it, not underreact to a situation like that,” he said.

Keegan Bradley clinches victory on 72nd hole at BMW Championship

His latest victory seemed to be in doubt when he was tied at the top with playing partner Adam Scott, who eagled the par-5 opening hole and went out in 2-under 34 to Bradley’s 35.

Alas, Scott (72, T2) bogeyed four of the first six holes on the back nine, leaving Sam Burns (65, T2) as the most serious threat after Bradley bogeyed the par-4 15th hole. It took his birdie at the par-5 17th, and that 5-iron second shot that Bradley will never forget, to restore order and a two-shot lead going into 18. He could breathe again, even in the thin air.

Although his approach missed left and short, rolling back off the green, his ensuing three-putt from the front fringe didn’t matter. He tapped in before hugging Vale and then his beaming father.

Keegan Bradley recounts playing basketball with Michael Jordan and Tom Brady

You’d have to say Mark Bradley’s “Rider Cup/Walker Cup” games paid off.

As for those other cups, as in Presidents and Ryder, who knows? Bradley, 38, would need to be one of the six captain’s picks, to be announced after the TOUR Championship, to make the playing roster for the Presidents Cup next month.

Then there’s the question of next year’s Ryder Cup at New York’s Bethpage Black. Bradley has gone on record saying he won’t pick himself, but he’s got plenty of time to make it on points.

“I still feel like I'm in the prime of my career,” he said.

So good from tee to green as to negate a balky putter (-1.693 Strokes Gained), Bradley backed up that claim with his clubs. He thought he had missed out on the BMW Championship. He thought the TOUR Championship in Atlanta wasn’t even worth thinking about. Now he’ll go to East Lake just four strokes behind No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

Walking or riding, player or captain, Northeast or Mountain West, Keegan Bradley’s life is changing fast.

'A guy that’s never won a championship!' – NBA legend Magic Johnson FIRES BACK at Anthony Edwards’ disrespect of Michael Jordan’s era

Anthony Edwards ’ outspoken nature has finally caught up with him after he recently made headlines with his controversial statement about Chicago Bulls and NBA legend Michael Jordan being the only skilled player in his era. In response to the controversy, a fellow legend in the MJ era, Magic Johnson , in a recent interview with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, gave his say on the matter.

Magic Johnson , in the interview, slammed Edwards for his comments and threw a jab at his lack of silverware. Edwards’ comments were bound to cause a backlash from both legends and fans alike.

I never respond to a guy that’s never won a championship. There’s not nothing to really say. He didn't win a college championship. I don't even know if he won a high school championship. Magic Johnson said on Thursday at the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in California

Edwards was a highly-rated player from high school but has never had the opportunity to lift a serious title, as his critics would say. The closest he reached was the unevenly matched Western Conference finals against the Dallas Mavericks last season, which was lost in five games.

Magic Johnson goes off on Ant "I never respond to a guy who's never won a championship… He didn't win a college championship, I don't even know if he won a high school championship." (h/t @ClutchPoints ) pic.twitter.com/mwDLeQO9B3 — NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) August 25, 2024

However, Johnson’s criticism of Anthony Edwards comes from a place of experience, as he witnessed a part of the MJ era. Ant-Man, on the other hand, would be eager to set the record straight this season and get the one thing that has eluded him, an NBA title.

Isiah Thomas also calls out Anthony Edwards for disrespecting Michael Jordan’s era

Anthony Edwards knew he had stepped on sacred lines, as prior to Magic Johnson’s sharp rebuke, Isiah Thomas also spoke out against his comments. “Zeke” in a post on his social media account on X, outrightly dismissed it and issued a warning to the T-Wolves young guard.

Propaganda works, so be careful what you choose to believe. Isiah Thomas wrote on X

Zeke’s rivalry with MJ and the Bulls is well documented and, as a result, took issues as he saw it as a sign of disrespect to the legends of his era. Not his first reaction though, as he has previously criticized comparisons between Edwards and Jordan, drawing a line between their different playing styles.

Propaganda works, so be careful what you choose to believe. https://t.co/A2fJvxDlmd — Isiah Thomas (@IsiahThomas) August 20, 2024

Although Thomas and His Airness don’t see eye to eye anymore, it’s clear that he won’t tolerate any form of slander, especially from one who is yet to win something tangible in his career. As the new season approaches, Edwards would be willing to not let this controversy get the better of him as his T-Wolves take on the Lakers for their first game of the season.

Lots Cave and Legend

The Enigmatic Tale of Lot’s Cave in the Dead Sea and Lot’s Wife

Introduction: The Dead Sea, nestled between Israel and Jordan, is a place steeped in history and legend. Among its many mysterious features, one stands out as an enduring symbol of biblical lore – Lot’s Cave. This geological wonder, accompanied by the enigmatic story of Lot’s Wife, has captured the imagination of people for centuries. In this article, we’ll delve into the intriguing history of Lot’s Cave and the enduring legend of Lot’s Wife.

Lot’s Cave: A Geological Marvel Lot’s Cave, also known as “Lot’s Wife,” is a unique geological formation that has fascinated explorers, scholars, and pilgrims alike. Situated on the southwestern shore of the Dead Sea, this natural wonder is a massive salt pillar that resembles a woman turned into a pillar of salt. Its eerie appearance and striking location have led many to believe that it is indeed the legendary Lot’s Wife from the Bible.

Biblical Origins: The story of Lot’s Cave and Lot’s Wife is recounted in the book of Genesis in the Old Testament. According to the Bible, Lot and his family were living in the sinful city of Sodom. When God decided to destroy the city due to its wickedness, He sent two angels to warn Lot and his family to flee before the destruction.

The angels instructed Lot and his family not to look back as they fled the city. However, Lot’s wife, in an act of disobedience, turned around to look at the burning city and was immediately transformed into a pillar of salt. This incident has become an enduring cautionary tale about the consequences of disobedience.

Scientific Explanation: While the biblical account attributes Lot’s Wife’s transformation to a divine act, modern science offers a different explanation for the formation of salt pillars in the Dead Sea region. The Dead Sea is one of the saltiest bodies of water on Earth, and its high salt concentration has led to the formation of unique geological features, including salt pillars.

These salt pillars are created when underground salt layers are exposed due to erosion or dissolution of the surrounding rock. Rainwater dissolves the salt, creating small cavities in the rock. Over time, these cavities can grow and expand, eventually forming impressive salt pillars like Lot’s Cave.

Cultural Significance: Lot’s Cave and the story of Lot’s Wife hold immense cultural and religious significance. For Christians, Jews, and Muslims, this tale symbolizes the consequences of disobedience and the importance of heeding divine warnings. It serves as a moral lesson about the perils of clinging to the past.

Visitors from around the world come to witness this geological wonder, often with a sense of reverence. Pilgrims, tourists, and researchers alike are drawn to Lot’s Cave, making it a site where science and spirituality converge.

Conclusion: Lot’s Cave in the Dead Sea and the legend of Lot’s Wife continue to captivate people’s imaginations, transcending time and borders. Whether viewed through a biblical lens or a scientific one, this geological marvel reminds us of the interplay between nature, myth, and human history. It serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring power of stories, whether they originate in ancient scriptures or in the depths of the Earth itself

Embracing Solitude: Discovering the Joys of Traveling Alone

Solo travel is a transformative journey that allows you to discover yourself, step out of your comfort zone, and experience the world on your own terms. It’s an opportunity to embrace solitude, connect with diverse cultures, and create memories that are uniquely your own.

In this article, we will delve into the joys of traveling alone, offering insights, tips, and inspiration for solo adventurers. Whether you’re a seasoned solo traveler or contemplating your first solo trip, join us as we unlock the beauty and liberation of embarking on a solo adventure.

The Freedom to Explore

One of the most liberating aspects of solo travel is the freedom it offers. As a solo traveler, you have complete control over your itinerary, allowing you to explore destinations that truly speak to your interests. Whether you want to immerse yourself in ancient history, indulge in culinary delights, or hike through breathtaking landscapes, the choice is entirely yours. With no compromises or distractions, you can fully immerse yourself in the experiences that resonate with your soul.

Building Self-Confidence

Traveling alone provides an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. Navigating unfamiliar territories, making decisions, and overcoming challenges independently boost your self-confidence and resilience. As you conquer language barriers, navigate public transportation, and navigate cultural differences, you’ll develop skills and qualities that extend far beyond your travel experiences, empowering you to take on new challenges with confidence.

Meeting New People

Contrary to popular belief, solo travel doesn’t mean you’ll be alone the entire time. In fact, it often opens doors to meaningful connections and friendships. As a solo traveler, you’re more approachable and likely to interact with locals and fellow travelers. Engage in conversations, join group tours or activities, and embrace the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. From sharing stories over a meal to embarking on impromptu adventures with newfound friends, the connections you make on your solo journey can be invaluable and enriching.

Safety Considerations

While solo travel can be exhilarating, it’s essential to prioritize your safety. Research your destination in advance, familiarize yourself with local customs and traditions, and stay informed about any travel advisories or safety precautions. Choose accommodation in safe areas, inform someone of your itinerary, and trust your instincts when it comes to personal safety. Additionally, travel insurance provides peace of mind, ensuring you’re covered in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Solo-Friendly Destinations

While every destination can be enjoyed as a solo traveler, some places are particularly known for their solo-friendly environments. Cities like Tokyo, Tokyo, and Stockholm are renowned for their safety, efficiency, and welcoming atmosphere. For nature lovers, countries like New Zealand and Canada offer breathtaking landscapes and well-developed tourism infrastructure that caters to solo travelers. Ultimately, the world is yours to explore, so choose a destination that aligns with your interests and travel style.

Finding Solace in Nature

Nature has a way of rejuvenating the soul and providing solace for solo travelers seeking moments of reflection and tranquility. Embark on hikes through scenic mountains, wander along pristine beaches, or camp under the stars. Connecting with the natural world allows you to reconnect with yourself, finding peace and serenity in the solitude. Remember to always respect the environment and follow sustainable practices to preserve these pristine destinations for future generations.

Embracing Self-Care

Solo travel provides the perfect opportunity for self-care and self-reflection. Take the time to nourish your body and mind. Indulge in local cuisine, treat yourself to a spa day, or spend an afternoon in a cozy café with a good book. Embrace slow travel, allowing yourself to savor every moment and create a deeper connection with the destination. Use your solo journey as a chance to practice mindfulness, to reflect on your dreams and goals, and to return home feeling refreshed and inspired.

Embracing solitude and discovering the joys of traveling alone is a transformative experience. It allows you to grow as an individual, build self-confidence, and connect with the world in a meaningful way. As a solo traveler, you have the freedom to design your own adventure, meet fascinating people, and immerse yourself in diverse cultures.

Whether you seek adrenaline-pumping adventures, cultural exploration, or moments of introspection, solo travel offers a remarkable opportunity to create memories that are exclusively yours. So, venture forth, embrace solitude, and let the world unveil its wonders as you embark on a solo journey of self-discovery and adventure.

SAMPLE TRIP ITINERARY

Daily overview, day 1: arrival in amman, jordan.

Upon your arrival, we will transport you to your hotel in the one of the oldest cities in the world, Amman, where you will have the opportunity to explore and discover the city at your leisure. Amman, the capital of Jordan, has been inhabited since the Bronze age but has grown into a vibrant and modern city while keeping its culture and traditions.

Day 2: Amman to Jerash to Aljoun with a Meal in Local Family Home

Today, we embark on an exciting exploration of Jordan’s green north. After breakfast, we’ll visit Jerash, known as one of the world’s best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. Returning to the bus, we’ll drive through olive tree-covered hills and serene forests, reaching Ajloun. Here, you’ll witness a castle built to defend the crossroads of major trade and pilgrimage routes connecting Mecca, Cairo, Damascus, and Jerusalem. In the afternoon, we’ll have the pleasure of visiting a local family in a nearby village, indulging in a delightful traditional home-cooked meal. Here, you can engage in conversations and learn about rural Jordan’s customs and traditions. Finally, we return to Amman for the night.

Day 3: Amman City Tour and Dead Sea Experience

Start the day with a city tour of Amman, exploring the Citadel, Roman Theatre, and Al-Husseini Mosque. Indulge in authentic Jordanian street food at a local restaurant. Then, descend a long winding road to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Here you can float in the salty waters, apply the famous mud, and unwind by the pool or enjoy a spa treatment. This is a day to relax and let go of stress.

Day 4: Mount Nebo, Madaba, Karak, and Petra.

Our journey begins in Jordan’s south at Mount Nebo, where Moses once looked upon the Promised Land. We then visit Madaba to see unique Byzantine mosaics, including the famous ‘Madaba Map.’ Continuing to Karak, explore the ruins of a massive Crusader castle. Finally, we reach Wadi Musa, the modern village near Petra.

Day 5: Petra

The ancient city of Petra is a Modern Seven Wonder of the World and a masterpiece carved into reddish sandstone, earning it the nickname “Red Rose City.” Once lost to the world, it was rediscovered by archaeologists in the 20th century. You will enter through the narrow Siq gorge and once the stone walls open up you will see one of the most photographed monuments in the country. You will also explore the caves, tombs, and other structures within the city. After lunch, discover hidden gems like the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice. For a magnificent view, climb up to Jabal Khubthaa and admire Al-Khazneh, otherwise known as the “Treasury”, from above.

Day 6: Wadi Rum Jeep Tour

After breakfast, we leave Petra behind and head to Wadi Rum for a thrilling desert adventure. Join our Bedouin hosts for a 4×4 jeep safari, exploring valleys, gorges, and sand dunes. Discover ancient rock inscriptions and savor the stunning desert landscape. Enjoy a delicious lunch cooked over an open fire, witness a mesmerizing sunset, and experience Bedouin hospitality at our camp under the starlit sky.

Day 7: Aqaba Boat Ride & BBQ

Day 7: aqaba boat ride and bbq.

After breakfast, we leave Wadi Rum for Aqaba. This southern city on the Red Sea offers stunning coral reefs and diving spots. Join a boat ride to relax, swim, snorkel, and savor lunch with incredible views of the corals and fish. Depending on your flight, you’ll either return to Amman or spend the night in Aqaba.

Day 8: Departure

Sadly, your trip has come to an end. For those departing by flight, it is advisable to depart from Amman about 4 hours prior to your scheduled departure time. We hope you have a safe and pleasant journey back home.
