Trapz.io is a multiplayer platform in the visual style of Trap Adventure 2 . It is tagged the most difficult game ever, the hardcore Mario, the thrill, the insane adventure, but it leaves everyone filled with total excitement!

Welcome to a world where danger awaits at every step: unexpected spikes, disappearing platforms, falling ceilings, fire bullets and dangerous enemies. Jump, run, attack other players, collect coins and hearts. Overflowing emotions, the crazy thrill of the battle and that itch to get ahead will accompany you at all times!

You are a tiny human descending into the dangerous dungeon! Each game character begins with 100% health but for every wrong step, 100% turns to zero and the player will need to start from the beginning (return to the initial position).

You need to jump over traps and avoid enemies by evading their hits. Level by level you improve your skills and start feeling the danger coming far in advance the next time it happens.

The more progress you make, the more coins you encounter and collect! To take the treasure, all you need to do is merely touch it or run over it. Want even more coins? Then you will have to attack and kill other players! Opponent slain � all of his coins are yours! The stronger your attacks against your opponent, the more money you get. To restore your health, you need to find a heart somewhere on the level and run over it.

Do you have what it takes to try and defeat your friends? The rules of the Trapz.io online game are simple: do not let your guard down, defeat your enemy in n instant and finally, try not to die! Even if victory seems to be just one step away, theres always that one thing that can destroy you.

Trip&Traps

Trip&Traps ( Trip-and-Traps ) is a turn-based board game mixing bluff and strategy. Rules are simple but finding the best strategy to win can be very tricky!

Players can play against different level of AI or against real players connected to the game through the network.

Actions are made through simple mouse interactions. 

Note 1: F or some reason, the browser version tends to significantly decrease the graphics quality. For a better experience, I encourage people to download an  executable version of the game.

Note 2 : Players should carefully remember their password when logging in to play against humans since there is currently no automatic method to recover lost passwords. In any cases, for people who do not want to be identified or are not interested in keeping game statistics, there is an option to let them play as guests. 

Game Principle

The game features a merciless confrontation between two clans in the land of the rising sun. The players control pieces evolving on a board made of hexagonal tiles. The goal: safely bring back its most valuable characters at its camp before they are captured by the opponent. To this end, players will have to assess the characters behind the opponent's pieces whose identity is kept secret at the beginning of the game.

A detailed description of the rules is accessible by selecting the 'Rules' button directly from the main menu or, during the game, from the option panel at the top left corner of the screen. 

Future Developments

The game should be perfectly playable as it is. However, it is a first released version and I would obviously love to improve various aspects of the game if I have more time in the future. I detail below some of the extensions I have in mind.

Graphics and Sound Effects

The graphics and sound effects are currently relatively basics and I wish I could improve these aspects as well as let the player customise them according to their taste.

Player Features

I would love to offer new features such as a tutorial to learn the rules, a mechanism to store and replay the games' history, a game editor to build a given board configuration, etc.

A login system is proposed to allow players to record statistics about their past games. These infos are currently very basic. In the future, I would like to provide additional informations. The lobby interface is also still simple and I would like to propose more advanced options for players to help them connect with other players.

There are currently three AI levels, players can play against. Even the best AI is moderately strong although it should be a bit challenging for a beginner. I am currently working on  more sophisticated  AI but it takes some time... As a side note, I believe this game which relies on partial information could be a great benchmark for evaluating AI based on Machine Learning methods.

I am a big fan of board games and I invented some of them myself. Trip&Traps is one of these games I started to design years ago. Since I really enjoyed its mechanism, I thought it would be great to build a digital version of the game to help sharing it and  here we are! This is my first digital game, so please, be indulgent ;). In any cases, I would love to have your feedback about both the game mechanics and its digital implementation, but more important, I really hope you'll enjoy it!

And another thing, why are hard and expert AI difficulty locked. I beat normal. Is it that you did not code smarter AI yet?

My story of trip trap

I went to an apple shop with my friend we went on an iPad and got onto this app also another one called clumsy ninja we were there for 2 hours cos we were entertained so much by these games so get these games and you'll always be on them

WARNING: Full-page, obnoxious, relentless ADS!

It’s a shame too. The few levels I made it through before deleting this were fun. It’s an interesting concept, simple enough play, and fun animated style ... but GAAAA!!! Every other level completed is interrupted by a friggin’ full page obnoxious ad. Look, developers, you RUIN the experience when you take a user entirely out of the flow of the game to force some obnoxious timed ad down the users’ throat. This was on my device for less than 2 minutes then DELETED!!!

TripTrap Review

I first played this game while I was waiting for a phone upgrade. It was so busy and I was there forever, but the time went by fast because I was playing this game. It's very simple, but very charming and fun!! It's a great way to pass the time.

I got stuck on the third level. For a game about platforming precision the controls are surprisingly floaty. You need to steer out of a wall in order to jump far, but steering out of a wall also dislodges you from it...

Other than that, interesting concept! I think the timing is a bit tight, I would rather have more time and a points system. More time left when you finish a level = more points. Also maybe hide points in levels at dangerous spaces, such as points behind a gate that trip a huge trap.

I love the idea, very polished, but a bit light on content and very challenging.

Really cool game overall! Just played the first few levels and had a blast. I think the gameplay is really interesting and the characters have a lot of charm for a ball. Love the squash and stretch. I think it could probably use some more graphic updates. I had some trouble seeing the blue switches and some of the projectiles. I also think it could have an easier introduction. It gets pretty hard on the first level and it took me a while to realize I could wall jump. Also I feel that there's more here. I can see how "Trip" could open doors or create platforms for trap. Doesn't have to be all negative!

Definitely a cool concept!

What Is A Trap Game In Football?

If you are a football fan you have likely heard the term “trap game” used when describing an upcoming match against an easy opponent. But what exactly does the term trap game mean in football?

There is no official definition of the term trap game but consensus online is this.

A trap game occurs when a quality football team plays an opponent that they can easily defeat. This causes the team in question to overlook their inferior opponent making it more likely that the underdog will win.

Alternate Definitions Of Trap Games

At the end of the day the term “trap game” is slang so there are understandably a few different meanings of this term. Knowing these other definitions of this term may make it easier for you to understand this term when you hear it in context.

Looking to the next opponent

Some football fans only consider a game a trap game if there is a big matchup the following week. Say the Chiefs are playing the Jets and then the Raiders. Under this definition, this game would not be considered a trap game.

This is because the Raiders aren’t a good enough opponent to justify looking over the Jets. Now say the Chiefs were playing the Jets and then the Bills. Under this definition, this would be a trap game.

This is because as of writing this the Bills would be a tough and important matchup for the Chiefs.

This definition relies on the superior team taking less of a focus on their immediate opponent. And instead, focusing on the game two weeks ahed..

There is no winning a trap game

Another alternate definition of a trap game is a game in which winning doesn’t get you any credit and losing would be a big upset. This could occur if a quality team plays one of the bottom teams in the league.

In these games, the team cannot prove anything or gain momentum because the competition is deemed too poor. Not to mention the garbage time at the end of lopsided trap games makes the score look much closer than it is.

At the same time, they could still lose the game and have to risk that potential embarrassment when they play.

This makes it a trap game because there is no real way to win in the spectator’s eyes.

What Can You Do To Avoid Trap Games

At end the of the day trap games occur when you make the mental mistake of looking past an opponent. Luckily this can easily be fixed through effort and discipline.

To consistently avoid trap games you must learn to respect all the other teams you may play in a year. So long as you respect each team you play you will find you will not be looking past some opponents over others.

At the end of the day if you are playing a team that means they are in the same league as you. You and your team need to understand this and avoid putting yourselves on a pedestal. This will help to ensure that your team plays consistently and beats the teams you are favoured against.

Be ready for the unexpected

Throughout a football season there are going to many plays which can hurt or help your team. Something as simple as a dropped pass or a fumbled ball can determine the outcome of the game.

With seventeen games to play in the regular season it is likely you will have at leas one game where the ball isn’t bouncing your way.

When playing a weak team you need to be ready to account for this unlucky bounces.

At any point, a pass could be tipped and result in a game-changing interception or even a touchdown. These sorts of unpredictable plays are often what allow weaker teams to beat their opponents.

When playing in a trap game teams need to play through these mishaps and understand they need to lead by more than one possession.

So long as a trap game stays a once score game the opponents are only one play away from taking the lead or tieing the game.

The better team in these games need to be sure to keep their foot on the gas in order to pull away from their opponents.

By letting a weaker opponent claw their way back into a game you can leave your team susceptible to losing a trap game in football.

After going 4-2 on their road trip to Pittsburgh and Cleveland, the Red Sox are home and looking to give Fenway the caliber of play the old ballpark deserves.

The Sox went 3-7 in their first homestand, and 39-42 at home last season.

They’ll host the Chicago Cubs for three games over the weekend, then enjoy a day off on Monday before the San Francisco Giants arrive for three games. They’re 4-4 in series openers this year, but 3-0 in series against National League teams.

Kutter Crawford and his MLB-best 0.66 ERA (among qualified pitchers) have the ball for Friday night’s series opener.

The right-hander is coming off his second quality start of the season; he allowed one earned run on seven hits, three walks, and struck out six Pirates over six. It was his first time giving up more than three hits this season, but he’s yet to allow more than one run, earned or otherwise.

According to the club’s media relations department, Crawford, Roger Clemens (1991), Dave Ferris (‘45), and Lefty Grove (‘36) are the only four Red Sox pitchers to post sub-0.70 ERAs over their first five starts of the season in the Live-Ball Era (since 1920). He also hasn’t allowed a home run in his last 43 ⅔ innings, the longest active streak for a Major League starter.

Crawford has made one career start against the Cubs, a six-inning, one-hit, shutout performance last July 16 in which he issued four walks, hit a batter, and struck out a career-high nine batters.

Josh Winckowski and Tanner Houck will start the remaining two games of the series, on Saturday (4:10 p.m.) and Sunday (7:10 p.m.).

Crawford will square off against Cubs left-hander Shota Imanaga, 30, whose MLB career is off to a near-perfect start.

The Red Sox are 3-3 against starting southpaws, and Imanaga won’t be an easy target. The newcomer, who left Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball league to sign a two-year, $22.5 million contract during the offseason, is 3-0 with a 0.84 ERA, 21 strikeouts, and only two walks and two earned runs (one homer) over 21 ⅓ innings.

The Cubs have not announced a starter for Saturday, but Jordan Wicks is scheduled to take the mound for the Sunday Night Baseball series finale.

Blinken Tours China to Promote Some Ties, While the U.S. Severs Others

Tensions over economic ties are running high, threatening to disrupt a fragile cooperation between the U.S. and China.

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken cheered on the sidelines at a basketball game in Shanghai on Wednesday night, and spent Thursday chatting with students at New York University’s Shanghai campus and meeting American business owners. It all went to emphasize the kind of economic, educational and cultural ties that the United States is pointedly holding up as beneficial for both countries.

But hanging over those pleasantries during his visit to China this week are several steps the U.S. is taking to sever economic ties in areas where the Biden administration says they threaten American interests. And those will be the focus of greater attention from Chinese officials, as well.

Even as the Biden administration tries to stabilize the relationship with China, it is advancing several economic measures that would curb China’s access to the U.S. economy and technology. It is poised to raise tariffs on Chinese steel , solar panels and other crucial products to try to protect American factories from cheap imports. It is weighing further restrictions on China’s access to advanced semiconductors to try to keep Beijing from developing sophisticated artificial intelligence that could be used on the battlefield.

This week, Congress also passed legislation that would force ByteDance, the Chinese owner of TikTok, to sell its stake in the app within nine to 12 months or leave the United States altogether. The president signed it on Wednesday, though the measure is likely to be challenged in court.

Mr. Blinken’s visit, which was expected to take him to Beijing on Friday for high-level government meetings, had a much more cordial tone than on the trip he made to China last year. That trip was the first after a Chinese spy balloon traveled across the United States, tipping the American public into an uproar.

In a meeting with the Shanghai Communist Party secretary Thursday morning, Mr. Blinken said direct engagement between the U.S. and China was both valuable and necessary.

“We have an obligation for our people — indeed an obligation to the world — to manage the relationship between our two countries responsibly,” he said.

Speaking to students at the N.Y.U.’s Shanghai campus later that morning, he said the educational exchanges the students were engaged in provided a “ballast” for a complicated and confrontational relationship.

Since President Biden met with the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, in California in November, the U.S.-China relationship has seemed more stable, with nothing like the dramatic ups and downs of the trade spats under former President Donald J. Trump.

But the Biden administration has still been marching toward a more restrictive economic relationship with China.

That includes controls on semiconductor technology, which are being raised by both sides as a more prominent issue than ever before. The Biden administration has been weighing further export controls, particularly on factories that have been helping produce advanced semiconductors for the Chinese tech giant Huawei.

“By explicitly trying to degrade Chinese tech capabilities, especially on advanced AI, the United States has moved export controls to the forefront of the U.S.-China agenda,” said Emily Benson, a trade expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.

In a call between Mr. Biden and Mr. Xi earlier this month, both leaders raised the technology controls as matters of central importance.

Mr. Biden emphasized that the United States would continue to take necessary actions to prevent advanced American technologies from being used to undermine its own national security, without unduly limiting trade and investment, according to the White House.

Mr. Xi said that putting new sanctions on China was not “de-risking,” but creating risks. If the United States was bent on “containing China’s hi-tech development and depriving China of its legitimate right to development, China is not going to sit back and watch,” he said, according to the official Xinhua News Agency.

U.S. officials say their restrictions are necessary given China’s authoritarian government and statist economic model. But the moves have rankled Chinese leaders and pushed tensions over economic measures to their highest point in years.

The measures are not just emanating from the U.S. government: Susan Shirk, the author of “Overreach: How China Derailed Its Peaceful Rise,” said that China had pivoted toward a more self-sufficient industrial policy, and has been seeking to supplant the United States as a high-tech superpower under Mr. Xi.

“Xi openly acknowledges that while he wants China to be less dependent on other countries, he wants to keep other countries dependent on China ‘as a powerful countermeasure and deterrent’ as he put it, ‘against them cutting off supply,’” Ms. Shirk said.

China, too, has allowed security concerns to affect a greater proportion of its economy, even as Mr. Xi and other Chinese leaders have tried to reassure foreign businesses that their investment is welcome. A new national security law has extended Beijing’s reach into Hong Kong, threatening the city’s status as a financial hub. American executives have been alarmed by China’s investigations of foreign firms, as well as the country’s broader rules against sharing data and information with foreigners.

Despite China’s complaints about the U.S. government’s efforts to crack down on TikTok, China itself has for decades banned other Western social media services. Apple said last week that Beijing had ordered it to remove WhatsApp and Threads from app stores in China.

Mr. Blinken and other U.S. officials have emphasized that American export controls, sanctions and other restrictions being imposed on Chinese tech companies apply to only a small fraction of the broader U.S.-China relationship. Elsewhere, trade is encouraged, they say.

In a report this week, the U.S.-China Business Council, a group of 270 American companies that do business in China, estimated that U.S. exports to China supported more than 900,000 American jobs in 2022, though goods exports fell in 2023 due to China’s lackluster economy, U.S. tariffs and other factors.

“It is important for us to remind U.S. lawmakers and those in influential positions that every state and congressional district in the U.S. maintains its own economic and trade relationship with China, and changes in U.S.-China trade policy should be considered very carefully,” said Craig Allen, the group’s president.

Erling Haaland has been ruled out of Manchester City ’s Premier League game at Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday.

City boss Pep Guardiola did confirm, though, that Phil Foden and John Stones are fit for the trip to the Amex Stadium.

Haaland missed City’s last match — Saturday’s 1-0 FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea — with an injury, while John Stones was taken off at half-time. Sky Sports reported that Foden was not pictured in City’s opening training on Tuesday.

“I know it is not a big issue,” he added of Haaland. “But he is not allowed for this game.”

City head into the Brighton game four points behind league leaders Arsenal , although have played two games fewer than Mikel Arteta’s side. Liverpool are also a point ahead of City and could be four clear of them if they beat Everton on Wednesday night.

“Every player deserves to play,” Guardiola added. “Not everyone can be in the starting XI but everyone contributes.

“We have three or four days since Chelsea. It was one of the toughest games of the season. Always, I put in the calendar that Brighton away is so tough for the way they play.”

Klopp hopes to rediscover the old Liverpool as title challenge falters

Liverpool need to rediscover their old selves, manager Juergen Klopp said on Friday as he conceded that his side were unlikely to end the season as Premier League champions after a slump in form reduced the title battle to a two-horse race.
