10 times better than Kesari, Veena world, Thomas Cook, etc.

This travel company made everything seamless. The trip was pure magic from beginning to end. From our amazing driver to each guide.. everyone was informative and kind. All credits goes to Mr. Roshan Singh. He is very kind person and he himself comes to pick you up at airport. We were 3 couples so he specially arranged a good Toyoto Hiace AC car (10-12 seater including luggage). Because of this, we were all comfortable during travel and together in one car. He also suggested us to go for Mt. Everest flight which was truly mesmerizing. Also, this customized tour package was much more affordable as compared to other travel companies. So if anyone want to do Nepal tour, go through Aid Journeys and Adventures. It is highly recommended.

veena world nepal tour packages

Seriously, I have travelled through various travel companies but this one was the best I have experienced. Mr. Roshan Singh (company owner) himself comes to pick you at airport. He is very kind and patient person. He takes care throughout your journey. The hotel also he provided were all 4 star-hotel. The driver was also very kind and experienced because of which our journey went smoothly. Also a trip to Muktinath temple (situated 3800 m above sea level) he arranged was fantastic. Moreover, the package cost was very much less as compared to other travel companies. I highly recommend Aid Journeys and Adventure if you are planning for Nepal.

It was a wonderful experience with the AID journey....this is one of the best and friendly company ...I would like to recommend everyone

5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ · "It was the most enchanting 7 nights/8 days family trip with private sedan car through out holiday including Nagarkot,Chitwan National Park, Pokhara, & Kathmandu. We are so glad to have engaged with AID Journeys & Adventure for our holiday in Nepal. From the beginning, Mr Roshan has been very efficient in answering all our enquiries and providing us with all the necessary information prior to our trip....On the day of our arrival, we were picked up promptly at the airport and everything from then on was nothing less than stellar. All our check ins and check outs at the various hotels were seamless and we never had any administration hiccups. Mr Roshan and his Wife Aliysha was always checking up on us through phone calls to make sure that we were doing good. They met us the day after our arrival in Kathmandu and on our last day before we departed to airport to make sure everything was okay and that we had a pleasant time. Overall we were satisfied with their tour quality as well as the hotels been chosen for us. Thank you so much to AID Journeys & Adventure for making this trip a truly memorable one for my family. I wish Mr Roshan and Aliysha the best and may the company reach greater heights! Will certainly recommend them.

Nepal is the land of Everest and there’s a heightened sense of anticipation here. Located in South Asia, and set in the Himalayas, Nepal is a landlocked country but thanks to the many mountains here, there’s also a sense of freedom in the air. Shaped like a trapezoid, Nepal is rich in terms of biodiversity, natural geological wonders and a varied and diverse culture that seeps into every aspect of life. The many temples in Nepal have made it a popular site for various religious tourists throughout the years but in recent times, a huge number of adventure enthusiasts also come here for activities like white water rafting, trekking etc.

When it comes to culture, Nepal holds plenty of appeal because of its many cities and temples that are bordered by mountain ranges which can be seen across the country. Apart from the usual suspects such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, some of the places that should be included in a Nepal tour itinerary are Lo Manthang which is known for its rich Buddhist culture or the Sagarmatha National Park which has been a UNESCO site for more than 4 decades now. Even if you’re not a Buddhist, there’s a certain sense of historic awe that’s attached to Lumbini which is said to be the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Nepal is filled with various treasures, places that you must visit and experience for yourself. With such historic architecture and beautiful natural wonders, it’s no wonder that Nepal is such a popular destination for travellers.

Best Time to Visit Nepal

The best time to visit Nepal  is from October to December. However, do remember that the best time to visit usually varies depending on what you plan to do in Nepal. For instance, if you want to go trekking, then late September to late November is your best bet and is in fact considered the peak tourism time as well. This is because the weather is dry, the views are clear and there are several important festivals that are celebrated during this time. making it the best time to book your Nepal tour package. However, do remember that winters can get quite cold, especially as the days inch toward late December and early January. Another good time to visit Nepal is from March to April which are the spring months. The temperature is moderate, and the skies are clear and flowers bloom everywhere in riotous delight.

Summer months are from May to September and May is often considered to be the hottest month of the year. There’s also rainfall from June onwards which makes humidity quite the challenge. Nevertheless, many people consider this to be the off-season as there are fewer tourists and flights and accommodation are relatively cheaper. But if you are coming to Nepal during the monsoon months, do remember that there are always chances of landslides.

How to Reach Nepal?

Nepal can be reached by air and by road. The easiest and most convenient way to reach Nepal is by flight. In the capital Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport serves international flights from several different destinations. There are direct flights from various cities in India such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi as well as numerous connecting flights as well. The main operators are Nepal Airlines but others such as Air China, Etihad, Thai Air, and Silk Air also have flights to Kathmandu.

Since Nepal is landlocked, it’s also possible to reach Nepal by road. There are buses from Varanasi, Patna, Darjeeling, Delhi and Lucknow as well. Many people also choose to travel to Nepal by hiring cabs. The border patrol has a toll fee and you need to get a transport permit so make sure you get those.

Nepal is one of the most beautiful and easily accessible international getaways for a honeymoon, especially for newlyweds in India. Among the various prominent tourist destinations, here are the best places for a honeymoon in Nepal :

Located at a distance of approximately 140 kilometres from Kathmandu, Bandipur is one of the most preferred honeymoon spots in Nepal. A holiday in Nepal with its awe-inspiring monasteries and wildlife strikes a deeper connection with its visitors. Stretching across approximately 57,000 sq miles, it is a journey on its own. So, how do you get to Nepal?

By Air : A fast and convenient option, multiple airlines from all major Indian cities fly to Nepal, and most flights have layovers. The Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu is the only international airport in the country. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach Kathmandu from Delhi by air. Another international airport, the Pokhara Regional International Airport, is also under construction and set to open in early 2022. International carriers such as AirAsia, Bhutan Airlines, Etihad, Malaysia Airlines, etc., operate flights to Kathmandu. If you choose air travel, book your tickets early, as seats can fill up quickly.

By Train : Trains from Southern Nepal connect travellers via the Sirsiya to Raxaul (India) route. You can also travel from Delhi to Kathmandu by train. The journey is affordable, easy, and quite an adventure. Indians travelling to Nepal do not require a visa via train, and you will find regular passenger and cargo trains.

By Road : Buses are common and a convenient mode of travel to and in Nepal. Direct buses operate from Delhi to Kathmandu. Travelling by car is also very common, but traffic can make the journey expensive. Toll fees and transport permits are necessary if you travel in private vehicles. You can also take a taxi from Sunauli and head to Bhairahawa bus station to Kathmandu. The regions where border-crossing is allowed are Sunauli in UP, Raxaul in Bihar, Banbasa in Uttarakhand, and Panitanki in West Bengal.

While travelling to Nepal, it is important to carry valid ID proof, a passport, and a visa.

Food in Nepal

Nepalese cuisine consists of many delicious items, and you will find great similarities between the delicacies served in India and Nepal. The local food is healthy and largely vegetarian, but you can also find a variety of red meat options. Although meat is relatively costly in Nepal, the Gorkhali Lamb, an essential curry dish with assorted flavours, and Choila, an extensive Newari cuisine typically made from water buffalo meat, are a must-try.

You can also easily find vegan options, as Nepal has plenty of animal-free delicacies, along with a number of dishes that can be easily modified to suit your palate. Vegetarianism or veganism has been popular in Nepal for a long time, especially given its large Hindu population and cross-cultural culinary influence. Restaurants in Thamel, Durbarmarg, Lazimpath, and Gairidhara mostly serve vegan and vegetarian food. Eating a vegetarian Thakali plate is ideal since it is easily available throughout the country. There are several vegan restaurants in Jhamsikhel, Kathmandu, and Lakeside, where you will find nutritious vegan food at reasonable prices.

Traditional food in Nepal consists of

Dal Bhat : Dal Bhat is a vegetarian dish that consists of rice, thick lentil soup (dal), vegetable curry (tarkari), and spicy vegetables macerated in vinegar (achaar).

Newa Cuisine : The Newars were the first inhabitants of the Kathmandu valley. The Newa dish is made of rice flakes, spiced potatoes, pickled vegetables, fresh soybeans with spicy sauce, and slices of raw vegetables. Wo (Bara) is a kind of pancake made with ground lentil batter during the Newari festival. These dal patties make the perfect snacks, and you can chew on them with relish.

Momos : Momos are dumplings, either steamed or fried, and served with a hot sauce. Originally from Tibet, you can find delicious Momos anywhere in Nepal. The dough is made from wheat, while the stuffing has a variety of fillings like cheese, spinach, carrots, cabbage, spices, onions, or even minced meat.

Dhido : Dhido is a simple flour meal, a perfect substitute for Dal Bhat. It is made from millet, wheat, maize, or buckwheat flour. It is served with a spicy sauce and Gundruk on the side. Gundruk is considered the national food of Nepal and is, therefore, a must-try.

Yomari : Yomari is a sweet dish prepared from coconut, sesame seeds, molasses, and rice dough. It is a holiday food made during the Yomari Punhi festival. You can find this dish in Kathmandu and try its spicy version made from lentils.
