Abdul was an extremely fun and entertaining guide for us. If you want to have exhilarating fun in a jeep, please ask for Abdul! Super friendly, understanding, helpful, funny, and best of all - an amazing driver. Everything about this 2 day tour package was magnificent. From the jeep tour itself, to the very comfy tent and amenities, to the extremely tasty and filling dinner, and of course the after party to the dinner!

Sit back and have shisha and authentic tea with the hosts and go stargazing in the one of best areas in the world - the dessert of Wadi Rum. If you are hesitant about this, don’t worry at all and have a fun and relaxing time. 

Abdul and the family were amazing to us. They were always looking that nothing was missing too us. Food was delicious and abundant. Camp has everything you need, and manager and staff are always checking if you need anything and make the stay easy. The jeep tour was great as well, the driver /guide was helpful, fun, and adaotative to the time we wanted to spend on each place. Also he cooked a great meal for lunch. Then we slept on a cave, and again, the experience is amazing, and we were provided of enough food, blankets and everything for us. Overall amazing experience, we enjoyed the desert and local people and food.

Astounding views and a great tour guide with an amazing sense of humor. Rushing through the dunes in the back of the pickup was a brand new experience. The guide, Abdul, showed us some of the places with the best views and even took our pictures. You can also expect some great advice about cliffs and life in general from him, as well as a quick guide on how to hunt mountain goats. We could also taste a bit of Bedouin life by gathering wood for a campfire and then drinking Bedouin tea while watching the sunset. Would 100% recommend.

The detailed Wadi Rum jeep tour itinerary​

Meeting point and start time.

We will meet up at our office in Rum village for the check-in at 9.30 AM. We will have some delicious Bedouin tea and chat about our plans for the day. Once we finish the check-in, you will have a little bit of time for any final preparations. At 10 AM, we will set out into the stunning desert landscape for a day full of adventures.

In the morning

We begin our journey with a visit to Lawrence spring, a natural spring located halfway up a mountain. From this vantage point, you will be able to take in the awe-inspiring views of Wadi Rum. Next, we will venture to the nearby red dune, where you can climb to new heights and soak in even more stunning scenery. You might even feel the rush of excitement as you run down this magnificent sand formation. Our next stop is the renowned Khazali canyon, home to a unique collection of ancient inscriptions and refreshing waterholes. After a short drive, we will arrive at Little bridge, the first of three splendid rock bridges we will visit throughout the day. We will climb the bridge and marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding valley before continuing to our final morning destination, the legendary Lawrence House.

We venture further into the desert until we reach a tranquil and picturesque spot where we pause for a lunch break. Your guide prepares a freshly made Bedouin lunch right before our eyes. After the meal, you can rest or stroll to explore the surroundings at your own pace.

During the winter season, our daylight hours are limited, which means we will continue our journey right after lunch. Conversely, we have a prolonged break in the summer season to avoid the scorching midday heat.

In the afternoon

We will begin our afternoon with a scenic drive to Mushroom rock. After a short stop, we will continue our journey through the yellow desert until we reach the Burdah rock bridge viewpoint. We will take time to appreciate the magnificent rock bridge and surrounding desert landscape there. Afterward, we will make our way to the narrow and surprisingly green Abu Khashaba canyon. You will enjoy a delightful walk through the canyon, which typically takes about 30-45 minutes. As this is a walking-only canyon, your guide will drive around the mountain and meet you on the other side of the canyon. We will then make our way to the Um Fruth rock bridge, where you can challenge yourself with a short and exhilarating scramble to the top. As the sun begins to set, we will make our way to Um Sabbath to witness the breathtaking sunset.

Once we have enjoyed the sunset, we make our way back to our office in Rum village. It usually takes us 45 minutes to an hour to get there. If you are curious about the exact time of sunset on your chosen tour date, you can easily find that information on the website timeanddate.com . After checking out, w e bid you farewell and wish you a safe journey ahead.

Embark on your desert adventure like a Bedouin by taking a relaxing camel ride from Rum village to Lawrence spring. Note that the check-in and start time remains unchanged. Price The cost for a 1-hour ride is 20 JOD per person. Included are a camel handler and one camel per person.

Overnight stay at our camp

For those who prefer a more relaxed start to their exploration of Wadi Rum or those who are traveling from further away places such as Madaba or Amman, an overnight stay before to the tour is available. The check-in is at sunset. Price The cost for this extra overnight stay is 30 JOD per person, and single travelers pay 40 JOD. Included are the transfer from our office to our camp, dinner, breakfast, drinks, and the overnight stay.

Wadi Rum desert tour – 3 Days & 2 Nights

We will meet you in the of Wadi Rum in the rest area, which is 6 km from the visitor center, where you must pay an entry fee of 5 dinars per person (or free of charge with the Jordanian passport). If you are driving, you can park in Wadi Rum. We will then enjoy traditional Bedouin tea before we start our journey.

“About our program”

“in the beginning”.

In the morning we move from the village of Wadi Rum to the beginning of our tour in Lawrence Springs, where you can climb to the spring of Orans and enjoy watching the desert from the top and then driving to the sand and enjoy the sand and then drive to Khazali where there are inscriptions dating back 2000 years.

We drive to a beautiful and quiet area where you can enjoy the desert scenery while preparing lunch for you in the summer days, where you will have time to sleep after lunch and you can tour and explore the area yourself and on short winter days, here your guide tells you the right time to move

“afternoon”

After taking the lunch break, we will drive to the Mushroom Rock. Is a beautiful rock in the form of mushrooms created by nature factors and then we go to an area called Brough Canyon, where we walk across this beautiful valley for the rest of the time here

 Day 2 – morning hiking and scrambling Burdahrock bridge and afternoon jeep tour

In the morning we move from the village of Wadi Rum to the beginning of our tour to climb the highest tower in Wadi Rum in terms of elevation on this tower with breathtaking views on the east and west side of the climb road there is some difficulty at the top of the tower and the rest of the easy way some places that need to pick up your hand A guide will guide you through the climb

In the afternoon you can see some of the famous places in Wadi Rum, such as Abu Khashmah Canyon, there is a 30 minute walk across this valley. Then we go to the Rock Bridge or Umm Firth then go to see the sunset in Umm Mumkur area.

Day 3 – morning hiking and scrambling Jabal Al-Hash and afternoon jeep tour

After enjoying the sunrise and breakfast, we go by jeep to the mountain. This mountain is located close to the borders of Saudi Arabia and climbing this mountain is not difficult, when you reach the top, the magic of the region begins with the best place in terms of amazing sights and different desert colors. There are also some fossils in this mountain

In the afternoon, we will go to some of the most amazing places in the Wadi Rum Desert called Negra Valley, where we walk a bit and see some of the dams that the Bedouins did to provide water, then return to the village on short winter days and return to the village of Wadi Rum at 3 pm Or in the summer days where the days return to Wadi Rum at 5pm.
