At a distance of 1.5 km from Diu Bus Station, Diu Museum is a prominent museum located in Diu. Situated near St. Paul's Church, it is one of the museums in the Union Territory of Diu - Daman and among the must-visit places in Diu town. The museum was set up in the St. Thomas Church, hence it is called as St. Thomas Church Museum. The church was built in 1598 by an order of Bishop D. Day 1 – Dwarka

Arrival at Jamnagar and proceed towards Dwarka, 138 km by road. Get some rest and visit the Dwarkadhish Temple also known as the Jagat Mandir and near by Rukmini Temple, stay overnight in Dwarka.

Day 2 – Nageshwar Jyotirlinga

Dwarka Somnath Diu Gir Tour Itinerary Package

Day 1 : Jamnagar – Dwarka (2.5 Hours 130km)

After your arrival at Jamnagar, you will be preceded to Dwarka on a bus with the help of our representatives. On arrival to Dwarka, you will be immediately checked into your hotel where you will freshen up and relax for a bit. After breakfast, you will then head to Lakhota Lake and Lakhota museum. Here you will be served with some delicious lunch after which you will visit the much revered Bala Hanuman temple. Finally, you will head back to the hotel and have your delicious dinner and have an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (4 Hours 20 Mins / 235km)

After a hearty meal, you will then be taken for a visit to the mystical temples of Somnath via Porbandar. In Porbandar, you will be taken to one of the most famous sights, i.e. the Tara Mandir planetarium. Being the delivery location of Sudama this region holds a lot of importance. After lunch, another site visit will be to Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. The trip will then continue to Bhalka tirtha temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Finally, you will reach Somnath where you will be taken to your hotel for stay and dinner.

Day 3 : Somnath – Diu (1 Hour 40 Mins / 77km)

In the morning you will attend the morning Aarti at Somnath temple and experience spirituality in its purest form. You will then be served breakfast after which you will start your travel for Diu, an island off the Southern coast of Gujarat and a part of Daman and Diu union territory. Upon arrival, you will be immediately checked into a hotel where you can relax and have your lunch. In the evening you will be taken for a brief sightseeing to st. paul’s church and Nagoa Beach. Finally, you will head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Sightseeing in Diu

This day will be dedicated entirely for sightseeing and taking in the scenic beauty of Diu. After having a fulfilling breakfast you will be taken to various attractions like fort Diu, st. paul’s church and Naida caves. You will also be exploring a number of serene beaches and you will feel your stress melt away.

Day 5 : Diu – Gir (2 Hours / 66km)

After breakfast, you will be preceded to Sasan Gir. The countrywide national park is known all over the world because of its population of Asiatic lions among other wild animals and migratory birds. It is also home to a number of reptiles including the Indian python. The national park is open from 16th October to 15th June. After taking in all the sites and going around in safari you will stop there for a night halt.

Day 6 : Departure from Sasan Gir

Ahmedabad - dwarka (2 nights) (approximately 450 kms, 9 hours).

Arrive at Ahmedabad in morning & drive to Dwarka. Dwarka an ancient city, housing one of the principal pilgrimages - ‘Dwarkadhish temple’ of Hindus. Attend evening aarti at Dwarkadhish temple. Overnight in Dwarka.

Note: Rates are not valid for 23 MAR TO 25 MAR (HOLI) 25 AUG TO 30 AUG (JANMASHTAMI) Note: Akshardham Temple remains closed on Monday. Extra Surchanges will be applicable for the travel period of Janmashtami and National Holidays Diwali Holi Christmas & New Year. Surcharges for Gala Dinner will be applicable during Christmas and New Year Eve.

Dwarka – Dwarka and Nageshwar Temples

Today we visit Bet Dwarka and Nageshwar temple. Bet Dwarka: Bet is situated at 30 kms from Dwarka and is surrounded by sea from all sides. One can reach Bet from Dwarka through Okha by road. On reaching Okha port jetty, one can reach Bet through a little sea journey in a launch or in a small boat. Nageshwar Temple or Nagnath Temple is located on the route between Gomati Dwarka and the Bait Dwarka Island on the coast of Saurashtra in Gujarat. The Jyotirlinga enshrined in the Temple of Nagnath is known as Nageshwar Mahadev and attracts thousands of pilgrims all-round the year. This powerful Jyotirlinga symbolizes protection from all poisons. It is said that those who pray to the NageshwarLinga become free of poison. The RudraSamhitasloka refers to Nageshwar with the phrase 'Daarukaavane Naagesham. Also visit The Rukmini temple and Gopi Talav. Overnight in Dwarka.

Dwarka – Somnath (1 Night) (Approximately 250 kms, 5 Hours)

Today, after attending the morning aarti at Dwarkadhish temple, drive to Somnath enroute visit Porbandar. Visit Kirti Mandir. Later continue to drive to Somnath; arrive Somnath and transfer to your hotel. Somnath is one of the most revered and an important center of culture and nationalism. The legendary temple contains a ‘jyotirlinga’. Looted and destroyed, built and rebuilt several times, it represents the eternal beauty and strength of the Indian society. The present splendid structure was rebuilt about five decades ago, at the exact spot where the original shrine was located. The iron man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was instrumental in the construction of the present temple. Later visit Bhalka Tirth. Overnight at Somnath.

Somnath – Ahmedabad (1 Night) (Approximately 415 kms, 8-9 Hours)

Today we drive to Ahmedabad. Today, this city is known as the 'Manchester of the East', one of the highly industrialized cities in India and is also India's Textile City. The old city of Ahmedabad is dotted with labyrinthine by lanes called 'polls'. The exquisite carved wooden mansions and havelis are in no manner less than their stone counterparts in Rajasthan. Day 3 : Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath

Day 4 : Somnath – Diu

Drive towards Diu after enjoying a lavish breakfast. The beautiful island of Diu is located to the southern coast of Gujarat’s Kathiawar Peninsula. It is a beautiful region of Diu district and is located 5 km to the east of Diu head. After reaching Diu, check-into one of our pre-listed hostels and then head towards the sightseeing tour of the island-like Diu Castle, Nagoa Beach, Naida Caves, and St. Paul’s church. After the completion of a fun-filled day, you will be dropped back to the hotel for dinner which will then be followed by an overnight stay.

Day 5 : Diu – Sasan Gir – Junagarh

Post breakfast drives towards Sasan Gir. Opt for the Jeep Safari ride to explore this huge national park located at a distance of almost 65 km towards the Southeastern side of Junagarh district. Gir National Park is worldwide popular for being a habitat of rare and endangered species of Asiatic Lions. Despite being popular as a home to Asiatic Lions, one can also witness an exotic variety of other wild animals and migratory birds like Indian Pitta, Lesser Florican, Pink-headed vulture, Osprey, etc. a variety of reptiles including Indian Python and also a good number of marsh crocodiles can be spotted here. After exploring the surreal beauties of Sasan Gir, drive back to Junagarh for night stay.

Day 6 : Junagarh – Virpur – Gondal – Ahmedabad

Today, you will be driving back to Ahmedabad after enjoying the delectable Gujarati breakfast. Visit Swaminarayan Temple, Vintage Car Museum, and Navlakha Palace at Gondal. It’s time to reach the airport from where you will board the flight for your onward journey home.

En route visit Lakhota Museum, Lakhota Lake in Jamnagar and on arrival Dwarka, Check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at Dwarka Hotel.

Day 2: Dwarka >> Dwarka Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for Dwarka sightseeing. visit the sacred Dwarkadheesh Temple. Take a holy dip in River Gomti and later visit the other sacred places like Nageshwar Jyotirling Temple, Gopi Talav and Bet Dwarka. On your way back visit Rukmani Temple which is dedicated to Lord Krishna’s first wife. In the evening, visit other temples in coastal areas followed by attending evening Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Later return to hotel for a relaxed sleep. Stay overnight at hotel in Dwarka.

Day 3: Dwarka >> Porbandar >> Somnath (Distance: 240 Kms, Expected Time: 05 Hrs.)

At early morning, If time allows then you can attend morning aarti at Dwarkadheesh Temple. After breakfast proceed for Somnath. On the way you will visit Porbander which is 130 kms from Dwarka. Porbandar is the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi and here you will visit Kirti Mandir. On arrival in Somnath, visit the Somnath Temple. You may also attend the evening aarti at Somnath Temple and sound and light show in the premises of temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.
