You will be drove from Doha to Messaid on the tarmac road and once your reach sealine golden dunes entrance the drivers will deflate the tires to take you off road where you will have the best ever experience you can ever expect for! They will also drive you on a thrilling rollercoaster ride over the dunes and also stop for few photographs. After the drive you will reach the camp site in Khor Al Udeid which is located right by the sea. You could enjoy a nice swim, play volley ball or sand boarding on the dunes while the BBQ lunch/Dinner is served. Thereafter you will head back to Doha and on your way back you will be stop to inflate the tires at a local workshop.

You will be picked up early morning from Doha by our well experienced and professional 4x4 wheel desert drivers and head towards the South of Qatar for a stop at the charming Sea Line while the driver deflate the tires to make the vehicle ready for off-road. You will driver over the dunes for about 45 minutes to 1 hour and watch the beautiful sunrise over the Golden dunes. This will be one of the experiences you will never forget. You will also see the magnificent Inland sea, where you will get to see the borders of Saudi Arabia. After enjoying the morning view for about 15 minutes you head back to Doha. On your way back you will be stop to inflate the tires at a local workshop

You will be picked up from Doha by our well experienced 4x4 wheel desert drivers and take you approximately 50 km south and then drivers will deflate the tires to take you off road where the incredibly adventurous journey into the endless heart of the desert. Falcon Souq

Located within the confines of Souq Waqif , the Falcon Souq is one of the most exciting places to visit in Doha . Visitors can admire the majestic birds from up close, take photographs and, under the shopkeeper’s watchful eye, pose with a falcon perched on the arm.

Visit The Falcon Souq at Souq Waqif to explore Qatar’s national bird up close. Not only will you be able to photograph them, but you will also have the opportunity to have the majestic bird sit on your arm - under professional supervision.

How to get there?

Falcon Souq is in Souq Waqif, between Al Asmakh and Al Ahmed streets, within walking distance of the Corniche. It has its own entrance with a gilded plaque identifying the location.

Falcons are highly honoured and celebrated as the national bird of Qatar and have always been a crucial part of the country’s rich heritage and culture. Souq Waqif is home to a Falcon Souq where you can explore Qatar’s national bird up close and strike a pose with a falcon perched on your arm. 

Falconry is a historic art from the times of the Bedouin tribes, where the raptor is highly trained and used to hunt down migratory birds for food. To experience the authenticity of this tradition, visit the Falcon Souq at Souq Waqif while on your holiday in Doha. There you can explore the majestic birds up close, photograph them and have them sit on your arm. You might even be lucky enough to find yourself wandering along at the time of a public auction. Prices depend on size, strength, and skill level. The Falcon Souq also sells a large variety of falconry accessories such as hoods for the bird’s eyes, cuffs, and gloves for falconers, feathered lures to exercise and train birds, leg restraints and perches to keep the bird tethered, as well as medicines, veterinary supplies, and more. 

The birds are so important to Qatari culture that the Souq also houses a falcon hospital. Falconers can bring their birds to the air-conditioned building equipped with state-of-the-art medical incubators, wards, and surgery units. You are likely to see hooded falcons, a practice pursued as part of the taming process to keep them calm until they are used to their surroundings or falconer.
