Along with BTS activities, Suga revealed his own musical color and identity by releasing mixtapes under the name Agust D in 2016 and 2022. Suga’s world tour will start on April 26-27 in Belmont Park and continue on to Newark, Rosemont, L.A., Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Seoul, Japan, and more.

So far only a dozen dates have been revealed for the outing.

BTS ‘ Suga announced the dates for his first-ever solo world tour on Tuesday morning (Feb. 14). According to a posting on Weverse, the unnamed tour is slated to kick off on April 26 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York before dates at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. (April 29), Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL (May 3, 5 & 6), the Kia Forum in Los Angeles (May 10, 11, & 14) and Oakland Arena in Oakland, CA (May 16, 17).

A release announcing the tour noted that the Weverse post mentioned Agust D, Suga’s other stage name, which caused a lot of ARMY chatter about what fans might expect from the dates; click here for ticketing and Verified Fan information. The rapper and dancer posted a video in December in which he showed off his smooth moves in a hip-hop dance 101 class with the help of a private instructor.

“Hello everyone. At age 30, I’ve come to take dance lessons. Basic hip-hop moves. It’s been about 12 years since I last did this in high school. I’ll give it a try,” he said in the video, telling fans that he felt like he’d taken a trip back in time to his pre-BTS trainee days. “I’m a mess. This is so hard. It’s so hard to do this [basic moves] after a long time. I feel kind of dumb doing this. When I first joined as a trainee I’d never danced before.”

He also updated ARMY on what he’s been up to since the group announced their hiatus in June. “I’ve learned some basic hip-hop moves. I’ve suddenly got an interest in learning at the age of 30,” he said. ”I’m taking all kinds of lessons now. I’ve started playing the keyboard again. I’m also taking guitar and dance and Japanese and English.”

While J-Hope headlined Lollapalooza in Chicago last July and Jin performed his single “The Astronaut” with Coldplay in Argentina in October, Suga’s outing is the first full-fledged solo tour by a member of BTS. The rapper previously released two mixtapes under his solo alter ego, Agust D (2016) and D-2 (2020).

Today, SUGA of 21st century pop icons BTS announces his first-ever solo international  tour. Produced by HYBE, BIGHIT MUSIC and Live Nation, the tour begins with two nights in Belmont Park, NY at UBS Arena on April 26 & 27 and continues across the U.S. with stops in Newark, Rosemont, and Los Angeles before wrapping up in Oakland, CA with two nights at Oakland Arena on May 16 and 17. The tour then proceeds to Asia in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan.

TICKETS: Tickets for shows in the U.S. can be purchased through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform. Fans can register for the two unique Verified Fan presales HERE now through Thursday, February 23rd at 7PM PT/9PM CT/10PM ET. More information on each presale is below.

The Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE offers fans a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in SUGA's electrifying 2023 tour under his moniker Agust D. This film provides an intimate glimpse into his solo journey, capturing emotional and impactful moments from multiple concert stops. Today marks the premiere of the film in major theaters, with additional dates and showtimes set to be announced on April 13th. To commemorate the premiere, SUGA has also released a concert poster for fans to enjoy.

After the release of his studio album D-DAY, BTS ' SUGA embarked on a world tour titled the Agust D Tour D-DAY, which took place from April 26 to August 6, 2023. Throughout this extensive tour, SUGA delivered electrifying performances that captivated audiences worldwide. The excitement was further heightened by special guest appearances, including Max, Halsey, PSY, and fellow BTS members Jungkook , Jimin , and RM . Each guest added their own unique flair to the stage, creating unforgettable moments for fans.

With a total of 28 shows, including additional encore performances, SUGA's Agust D D-Day Tour showcased his undeniable global appeal.On March 5, BIGHIT Music, the renowned label representing BTS, ignited excitement within the ARMY community with an electrifying announcement. Collaborating with film distributor Trafalgar Releasing, they unveiled an upcoming concert film starring SUGA’s concert, titled SUGA│Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE. The release dates for SUGA's Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE in India have not been announced yet. However, fans can expect the movie to be screened not only in IMAX theaters but also in other cinemas such as PVR.

BTS Suga's 'Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE' tops live concert film worldwide

SEOUL April 17 (Yonhap) -- Suga, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, has achieved a remarkable milestone with his solo concert film "Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE" becoming the highest-grossing live concert film worldwide this year.

According to distributor Trafalgar Releasing on the 16th (local time), the film, screened from the 10th to the 14th of this month, recorded a revenue of $11.6 million (approximately 141 billion won) globally.

Trafalgar Releasing explained, "This marks the highest revenue-generating film among concert films in the United States and worldwide this year, as well as the highest revenue-generating film event by a solo K-pop artist."

"Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE" was screened in over 100 regions during the period, meeting audiences in more than 3,500 cinemas.

In the North American region, the film ranked second at the box office, earning $961,000 (approximately 13 billion won) from 784 cinemas on the 10th. The average revenue per screen was $1,264 (approximately 1.75 million won). The cumulative revenue in North America reached $2.3 million (approximately 32 billion won).

Mark Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, expressed excitement over the explosive response to 'Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE MOVIE'. He stated, "This is a true testament to Suga's artistry and showcases the power he holds to inspire fans globally, while also indicating a strong desire for live concert film experiences worldwide."

With the success of Suga's concert film, screenings in the United States have been extended until the 21st.

Suga, who completed a world tour last year, attracted over 300,000 audiences in 10 cities, including encore concerts. He has been fulfilling his military duty as a conscripted policeman since September last year.
