Gary Allan and Tracy Lawrence Announce Co-Headlining Tour

gary allan tracy lawrence tour dates

Two of country music’s biggest hitmakers are hitting the road — together! Gary Allan and Tracy Lawrence just announced a joint, co-headlining tour, kicking off on May 18 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lawrence, who enjoyed a long run co-headlining a tour with Clay Walker , is eager to return to sharing a stage in 2023 with Allan.

“I’m really looking forward to doing these shows with Gary Allan,” Lawrence says. “We’ve been talking every day and we’re really excited to hit the road together. What he brings to the table is unmatched and is going to elevate an already great night of music.”

Allan, who recently performed for Lawrence’s Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert , is equally excited to spend time on the road with Lawrence.

“Tracy Lawrence is one of the iconic artists of the 90s Country sound,” Allan boasts. “It’s going to be fun to hit the road with him and hear those great songs every night.”

Lawrence has a busy 2023 planned, which, fortunately, includes new music as well. The singer-songwriter spent the end of last year recovering from surgery, but is now ready to make new music, in addition to touring all over the country.

“I came into this new year wanting to start again,” Lawrence tells  Everything Nash . “I had surgery over the holidays, I had surgery on my neck, so I’ve been kind of out of it. I had surgery done in December, so I’ve been down for a while. It’s one of the procedures where they go through the front of your throat and your neck. They had to move the vocal cords out of the way. So I’m just now getting my singing voice back. It was a little bit scary, which is why I put it off for so long. So hopefully I’m gonna be able to start writing in the very near future.”

See a list of tour dates below. Tickets for Allan and Lawrence’s joint tour dates will be available on February 17 at 10:00 AM local time. See all of Allan’s music and upcoming shows at GaryAllan.com . All of Lawrence’s music and tour dates are available at TracyLawrence.com .

Hackney Diamonds is the first Rolling Stones album of new material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang . Produced by Andrew Watt and featuring guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Lady Gaga, the album was met with near-universal acclaim. “A collection of bangers (old-school division) that nobody in their right mind had a right to expect in 2023,” Rolling Stone ’s David Browne wrote, “Hackney Diamonds isn’t just another new Stones album, but a vibrant and cohesive record — the first Stones album in ages you’ll want to crank more than once before filing away.”

Belladonna as Anthrax The Hartford Courant It was the kind of reunion rare in rock, where lead-singer egos are so easily bruised. Joey Belladonna, the original lead singer for Anthrax, joined forces with the current lead singer John Bush for a cover of the Temptations classic, Ball of Confusion for a new greatest hits collection, Return of the Killer As (BeyondBMG). You certainly wouldnt picture, say, Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth sharing the microphone for a Van Halen song (indeed, Roths return on a Van Halen greatest hits album was the last straw for Hagar when he quit). So it was even more unusual for Belladonna to rejoin Bush and the rest of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante and bassist Frank Bello for a short tour that would feature the best of the old and new lineups. The duet came out great, says PUMPKINS Continued from Page 1 E manager, Sharon Osborne (wife of Ozzy), quit in a huff. I must resign for medical reasons, she said in a statement. Billy Corgan was making me sick. Now, a month before the release of their new album, MachinaThe Machines of God, a heavy metal venture into art-rock, rumors are heating up that Corgan is ready to pull the plug on his band. The rumor started during an Internet interview given by Filter band member Richard Patrick , who claimed that Corgan told him the Pumpkins were finished.

Bush, recently on tour in Boston. The vibes were fine and every thing was cool. (Belladonna) even came out to an in-store (appearance) in Chicago with us as well and everything was cool, the vibes were all good. But the good vibes didnt last long enough to get out on the tour, which began last Sunday in Virginia. Unfortunately, we didnt get to the position where we had a money arrangement with him before the gigs went on sale, Bush says. He told us what he wanted to be paid and we said, great, wed have to break into Fort Knox then. We didnt have that kind of money. Anthrax was once an arena-level band, where it first created the kind of thrash-rap hybrid so popular today. Perhaps he thought Anthrax was in a different place than it was. Maybe he thinks its still 1988, Bush says. Were just not earning the kind of money they used to. Virgin Records was forwarding all inquiries this week to the Pumpkins publicists at Annie Ohayon Media Relations in New York. Thats a rumor started by whats that little band. Filter? a Pumpkins publicist said. Well, weve got no comment. Still, despite the soap opera histrionics and Corgans legendary temper tantrums, some industry insiders say its unlikely the Pumpkins will be without management or another hit for long. Says one observer: Theres managers lined up around the block to work with them. Theyre not just a rock machine. If youve got an artist whos a genius, youve got to treat him like one.
