Diablo 4 Pilgrim's Footsteps, Follow Pilgrim's Journey
Home » Diablo 4 » Diablo 4 Pilgrim’s Footsteps, Follow Pilgrim’s Journey
If you can’t figure out how to follow the pilgrim’s journey in the Diablo 4 Pilgrim’s Footsteps side quest, you’re not the only one. The quest’s description is not exactly overly helpful, even if the journal that begins it does give you a proper hint. Either way, it seems a lot of people are getting stuck on this one. But don’t worry, we’re here to help. Here’s how to complete the Pilgrim’s Footsteps in Diablo IV.
Diablo 4 The Pilgrim’s Footsteps, Follow the Pilgrim’s Journey Side Quest
To complete the Pilgrim’s Footsteps side quest in Diablo 4, the game tells you that you need to “follow the pilgrim’s journey,” which is incredibly vague. It sounds like you’ll have to go on a huge, sprawling pilgrimage yourself, but that’s actually not the case. If you pay close attention to the journal that begins the quest, it will tell you what you actually need to do. It reads: “Walk the road of faith to a lone desert chapel. Stand at Akarat’s feet, follow his example, and be rewarded.” If you don’t know where the journal is, take a look a the first of the two screenshots below; it’s in the west of Kehjistan, in the Searing Expanse. After you’ve picked the quest up, track it and go to the location on the map.
To finish the Follow the Pilgrim’s Journey side quest step in Diablo 4 The Pilgrim’s Footsteps, head straight for the quest marker. When you get near, head up the steps but do not go through the large door into the main church. Instead, go into the side building, which is where you’ll find the statue of Akarat. The place is called Zakarum Chapel, by the way. Anyways, stand in front of the statue and use the Follow emote from the wheel (you summon it by pressing E on PC). If you don’t have it equipped, use the Customize option under the wheel. As soon as you use the Follow emote in front of the statue, the Boon of the Faithful chest on the right will unlock. Open it to collect your rewards and complete the quest.

How to get Xenophage in Destiny 2: The Journey Quest
by Ryan Schilling | Apr 24, 2024
The Journey is an exotic quest that begins near Sorrow’s Harbor on the Moon. From the transmat point, head towards the central Hive fortress in the area. Inside the main entrance, look for a hallway to your left and follow it until you reach the area called the Enduring Abyss. Continue down the path and keep an eye out for a ledge on the right side of the hallway. Jump up here to find yourself in a place you may find familiar from the Shadowkeep campaign. This is the balcony overlooking the first pyramid ship that we discovered.
Around this balcony, you will notice four Hive statues. You need to activate these statues in the correct order to begin your quest. The order is as follows:
- The right statue nearest the pyramid ship
- The left statue furthest from the pyramid ship
- The left statue nearest the pyramid ship
- The right statue furthest from the pyramid ship
Hive Statues, Xenophage Quest
Once you activate the statues in the correct order, a chest will appear containing the beginning of your quest for the exotic heavy machine gun Xenophage.
Xenophage Exotic Quest Requirements
The Xenophage exotic quest does have one pre-requisite – you must own Destiny 2’s expansion Shadowkeep which grants access to The Journey exotic quest.
How To Unlock Xenophage, Step-By-Step
Step 1: emerge from the darkness.
After you have successfully begun your quest, fast-travel to the Sanctuary transmat location on The Moon, mount your Sparrow, and immediately head down the right path toward Anchor of Light. Once you reach Anchor of Light, head left toward the Fallen outpost built on the cliffside.
Inside this outpost, you will find a mount of what appears to be Hive growth. Interact with this mount to pick up the Light and you will receive the buff Torch Bearer which will begin a countdown timer. Your objective now is to seek out braziers located in the area and light them. The first one can be found in the very same room where you picked up the ball of Light.
How to get Xenophage, Destiny 2
From the first brazier, head north and take the path toward the center of the Anchor of Light area. Before you reach the triangle-shaped Fallen outpost draped in purple tarps, turn left to find an alcove that drops into a pit. On the ledge near this pit is your second brazier to light.
From the second brazier, head back towards the initial outpost, but look for a small building quickly to your left. Inside this room, you will find your third brazier to continue lighting your path.
The next brazier is tucked away in the upper levels and criss-crossing bars of the initial outpost. Head back to that outpost, jump your way up to the fourth brazier, and light it.
Next, follow the cliffside of the initial outpost until you notice a short ramp half-buried in the sand to the top of a cubic structure. At the top of the ramp will be your fifth brazier.
The sixth brazier is fairly simple to find. Jump onto the top of the central circular building in Anchor of Light and it can be found right in the middle of the roof. Lighting this sixth brazier should grant you the new buff Torch Bearer.
With the Torch Bearer buff in hand, head back towards the initial outpost where your path began, but before you reach it, look for a small Hive pylon with an opening on it. Here is where you will deposit your ball of light and “emerge from the dark”. Congratulations on completing the first step of your quest towards obtaining Xenophage!
Step 2: Find the Fragments
The next step in your quest will have you navigating to four Lost Sectors around The Moon. After you complete each Lost Sector, you will find a set of Hive runes laid out in 3 rows and 3 columns that will be the key to securing these fragments. You need to shoot these runes in a particular order. Wait for the flame animation over the runes to complete after each shot to ensure your selection is locked in. Once you correctly shoot the sequence of runes, a chest will spawn containing the required Path Fragments for completing this quest step.
In the K1 Communion Lost Sector , you will need to complete the Lost Sector and shoot the runes found here in the following order:
- Bottom Left
- Bottom Right
In K1 Crew Quarters , your sequence of runes is a bit longer. Complete the Lost Sector and shoot the runes in the following order:
- Middle Left
- Middle Middle
- Bottom Middle
In K1 Revelation , the order for shooting the Hive runes is as follows:
- Middle Right
If you are following this guide in order, only K1 Logistics remains. The sequence is as follows:
Step 3: The Pit of Heresy
The next quest step will require you to jump into the Pit of Heresy Dungeon . Progress through the dungeon as normal until you reach the infamous crevasse with many doors on the other side. With Fireteam Finder, you should find a fireteam to help you complete the initial parts of the dungeon while more skilled players are likely to be able to navigate to this part of the dungeon solo.
Jump to the ledge just to the upper left of the doorway directly across the abyss. You will need to jump straight up to the next ledge directly above you. Continue repeating this to scale the wall. Once you get some good height and reach the next level of doors, begin heading further left hugging the wall. There will be an open door with some rubble inside. Near the rubble will be one Hive rune you can interact with to “Reveal Path’s End.”
Step 4: The Pit of Heresy Continued
After securing the next step of the quest from the room of many doors, continue through the dungeon as normal until you reach the encounter where you must hide and avoid the Hive Ogres. Head towards the cliffside and drop down to the lower level found there. Near the cliff’s edge on this lowest level, you will find a plate covered in Hive runes. Interact with this plate to reveal the path forward.
Platforms will rise out of the abyss below. Carefully begin platforming across them to pick up the Light ball from the furthest platform. Once you have the ball of Light, head back towards where you entered the Ogre encounter. From the point where you entered the encounter, turn right and look for the second door on the right and deposit your ball of light there.
This door will open the path to a secret boss, Volmar, The Tempted, who is the obstacle between you and your precious Xenophage. To defeat this boss you will need to leverage various damage types. Ensure you or your fireteam have weapons or subclasses that generate Solar, Arc, Void, and Kinetic damage.
Before you enter the boss room, you’ll encounter a group of Thrall. Dispatch them and then take a look around the room. You’ll see Hive runes and below them, an elemental type. You’ll also notice you have a buff such as “Fiery Dread”, “Thunderous Dread”, “Neutral Dread”, or “Abyssal Dread”. The core mechanic in this encounter is to pay attention to the buff that you have in the bottom left and dunk the Light ball at the rune that corresponds with the buff that you have active. Memorize the runes and elements in the room before the boss and you should be golden. Upon depositing the Light ball, you will receive a damage buff and you should quickly switch to your weapon of the same element and begin dealing damage to the boss.
Defeating Volmar, The Tempted will grant you the final step in your quest for Xenophage. Whether you complete the rest of the dungeon is up to you as the final step only requires us to return to Eris Morn via the Sanctuary transmat location and pick up your glorious new Exotic Heavy Machine Gun!
Divine Fragmentation Reward
Congratulations on securing one of the best damage-dealing weapons in Destiny 2! This Exotic Machine Gun not only deals great boss damage but also provides unique utility in encounters such as the Oracles in The Vault of Glass.
That is all you need to know to complete the Xenophage exotic quest, The Journey. We hope this guide helped you in growing your exotic collection. For more Destiny 2 guides like this one, keep that Xenophage locked to Blueberries.gg! We cover the Hunters’ Remembrance quest and Starcrossed quest here.

- He and the Mysterious Figure are the only NPCs of the robloxian-species.
- He is the only quest giver whose appearance changes during every event.
- There is a Statue of Onett on top of the 6th Hive (from Left to Right) with the Honey Dipper and the Port-O-Hive as a backpack, while the Onett NPC has a Porcelain Dipper , Porcelain Port-O-Hive , Mondo Belt Bag , Riley Guard , Bucko Guard , Beekeeper's Mask , and Beekeeper's Boots .
- The requirement was later reduced to 2,500 haste tokens.
- The total amount of Pollen required to complete his quests is 3,673,750,000 pollen and the total amount of Goo required to complete the quests is 136,000,000 goo.
- The amount of pollen in Onett's backpack (32318) represents the date when Bee Swarm Simulator was first released (on March 23rd, 2018).
- Ever since Gummy Bear left, Onett's and Science Bear's quests were the only ones that included collecting goo. However, the 11/25/2018 update introduced Gifted Bucko Bee and Gifted Riley Bee , requiring goo for their "Clean-up," "Goo," and "Medley" quests. During all three of the Beesmas Events , Bee Bear also required goo in certain quests, and during the Egg Hunt 2019 Event, Polar Bear also required collecting goo for his "Egg Hunt: Polar Bear" quest. Spirit Bear also has goo requirements for her quests.
- He and Panda Bear were the first quest givers to give quests that required defeating Tunnel Bear , with Science Bear being the last.
- In Onett's backpack, it says that its capacity is the equivalent of 500k. However, considering the items he wears, it should be about at least 900k of total capacity.
- If counting event quests, he is surpassed by Bubble Bee Man , who gives 4 of them and Stick Bug , who gives only 3.
- Onett is currently the fourth to last quest giver to be accessed in the game, the third to last being Bubble Bee Man, the second to last being Spirit Bear , and the last being Dapper Bear .
- During the Beesmas events 2018-2021, Onett wore a wreath around his head.
- During Beesmas 2022, Onett wore a robot mask and a cog on his belt.
- During the Beesmas event, once the player finished all of their quests, the player could give him a Present . However, there was a temporary glitch where it wasn't possible to give him one.
- Onett was also the only NPC who could have been given a present to who was on Bee Bear's "naughty" list.
- If the player had finished all of his quests during the Beesmas 2019 event, Onett stated that he's been "twisting the lid the wrong way for months."
- He is one of the two quest givers who did not give an Egg Hunt quest, the other being Honey Bee .
- During the Egg Hunt 2020 Event, Onett wore the Swarming Egg of The Hive, which given to players when they completed the egg hunt with Sun Bear .
- When you give Onett a present in Beesmas 2020, the present you gave him includes a collection of Korean skin care products. The detail that states the products are specifically Korean refers to how Korean skin care products are generally very high-quality.
- Onett the quest giver and the statue are the only NPCs with a bag.
- During Beesmas 2020, there was a temporary glitch which allowed players to claim the Honeyday Event buff and other stuff from Onett by talking to him (or rejoining the game) multiple times. This glitch was soon fixed after a shutdown.
- When interacting with Onett while still having the Star Journey 1 quest, the text at the end of the dialogue is a riddle for one of the codes that would give a 7-Pronged Cog , used to craft the Strange Goggles in the Ready Player Two event.

Fallout 4 Speak Of The Devil: How To Get X-02 Power Armor
One of the new sets of Power Armor in Fallout 4 is the X-02, and you need to complete a specific quest to obtain it.
By Joey Carr on April 25, 2024 at 12:47PM PDT
One of the several new side quests to take on in Fallout 4 with the next-gen update is called "Speak of the Devil." This quest has you following after a man's journey to find a mysterious character called The Devil, who supposedly swoops in to help those in need after a specific radio station is turned on. It so happens that The Devil is wearing a set of rare Power Armor, called X-02, and plenty of people are after it.
To ensure you get to the X-02 Power Armor first in Fallout 4, follow our guide below to complete the Speak of the Devil quest. For more on the new quests in Fallout 4, use our Echoes of the Past quest walkthrough .
Starting Speak of the Devil in Fallout 4
If you have a leveled-up character in Fallout 4, the Speak of the Devil quest should automatically be added to your quest log after downloading the next-gen update. However, if you're on a new save, then you have to wait until reaching a certain point in the story before you can begin Speak of the Devil or any of the other new quests.
Speak of the Devil begins at Wattz Electronics store, which is located in the middle of the map. Here, you can enter the front door and walk across the broken floor over to a small table with a radio on it. Pick up Connie's Note and play the Black Devil Vol 1. holotape that's lying on top of it. The holotape describes some of the backstory of The Devil, and how they save innocent people when someone tunes in to a specific radio station. Reading these items starts the Speak of the Devil quest.
Following Connie's journey
After reading the holotape and Connie's note, a new quest marker appears on your map that leads to Relay Tower 0MC-810. Be careful when approaching this location, as there are raiders and a Deathclaw waiting for you. Once the enemies have been dealt with, head into the red-gated area of the tower and read Richie's Note on the dead body in front of the terminal, and pick up the AM 810 holotape. Then, you need to access the terminal and extend the satellites.
Once the satellites are fully extended, head back into the terminal and insert the AM 810 holotape. With it inserted, tune the radio to play "Stars and Stripes Forever." This makes a new radio signal appear and a new quest marker on your map, leading to the BADTFL Regional Offices. This is located right near Wattz Electronics, so fast travel back there and head over to the quest marker.
Inside BADTFL, battle through the raiders until you reach the back interrogation room, where you find Connie's body sitting on a table. Loot Connie's body and read the note she left on the table, which reads "Check the Wall." You can also loot the FM 52.7 holotape on the table. This holotape is encrypted, so you'll need to find the password to it or hack in. This is done by playing the holotape on your Pip-Boy and then looking at the available options.
If you have a Hacker +3 stat, you can break in with no problem. However, if you don't, you need to guess the password from the generated list or find it. Connie's clue of "Check the Wall" does offer the password, but I can just tell you the right password too:
- [e\_di@bl0*p7z+rk4CkzEsx\@iene
This password is near the top of the list and when you click on it, you'll gain access to the holotape's data. After unlocking the holotape, a new quest marker appears on your map at the Relay Tower OSC-527. Here, access the terminal, load the FM 52.7 holotape, and then transfer the "America the Beautiful" file onto the terminal. You'll hear the famous song play and get your final quest marker at the Boston Police Rationing Site.
Getting the X-02 Power Armor
At the Boston Police Rationing Site, you need to break into the building and go through the underground tunnel. The front door to the building is barred shut, but you can throw a grenade at the door to unlock it. You can also get on the roof with a Power Armor jump, but the explosive route is easier.
Go through the tunnel entrance and then keep heading forward until you see a radio in front of a locked door with a set of Power Armor behind it. Activate the radio to unlock the door, and you'll have access to the X-02 Power Armor. You can also read the terminal behind the Power Armor to learn about the true intentions of The Devil character.
It's here where you can make a choice: Short-circuit the radio transmission, effectively killing The Devil's character, or restore the Enclave Radio, making a new radio station available. If you end the transmission, you can unlock a nearby wall safe with some loot. Activating the radio station will lock that safe for good.
Regardless of your choice, after getting into the X-02 Power Armor, a Sgt. Hodges and other enemies show up. Kill them to complete the Speak of the Devil quest in Fallout 4.
