Legoland malaysia with toddlers

Legoland is suitable for children of any age including toddlers and babies. Some of the rides in the Legoland theme park are restricted by height and age. However, there are still loads of activities and rides suitable for younger children. If you want to visit the theme park with a baby or toddler, we recommend the imagination section. This section has a lot of activities and rides which are suitable for babies and toddlers.

Children over 100 cm tall and over four years old should be able to go on most of the rides, if accompanied by an adult.

What’s more, some of the bigger slides in the Legoland water park are restricted by height and age. There are still plenty of activities suitable for babies and toddlers at the waterpark. There is a shallow baby pool, with a small slide and water play activities.

Are there lockers at Legoland Malaysia?

Lockers are available at the main entrance, the great Lego race, Dino Island and at the water park. Other rides and roller coasters offer space to store bags at the start of the ride. Be aware however these are not lockable spaces. Locker prices are as follows:

What can you do at Legoland Malaysia?

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

One of the things we absolutely love about Legoland Malaysia is the sheer variety of activities. That really is something for everyone. This means that you can plan a very balanced and enjoyable itinerary for the whole family.

The Legoland theme park

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Legoland theme park is an extensive park with a range of different creative themed sections. That’s to Legoland theme park you will find over 40 amazing rides, shows and attractions.

Here are some of the things that you can do in the Legoland theme park. This is not a comprehensive list of all of the rides and attractions at Legoland Malaysia. Rather, these are just a few of the rides and activities to give you a feel for the variety of experiences available at Legoland Malaysia:

The Dragon (Lego Kingdoms)

Legoland Malaysia Dragon

This is the biggest and fastest roller coaster at Legoland Malaysia. The Dragon is for anyone who needs a good adrenaline rush. The Dragon is a fast and exciting roller coaster, a guaranteed adrenaline rush. The dragon roller coaster starts by going through an indoor castle exhibition and then suddenly speeds outside up a steep climb, and then speeds around a winding track.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Children aged 6 and above and over 100 cm tall can ride the dragon if accompanied by an adult. For younger kids check out the Dragon’s Apprentice roller coaster (minimum height 105cm and 4 years old).

Rebuild the world exhibition

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

This is an activity designed to develop dexterity, creativity and problem-solving. This is an air-conditioned exhibition with several Lego stations. Children design and build Lego structures to add to a collective piece of artwork in the centre of the room. Children can build animals, vehicles and buildings to add to the giant Lego globe in the centre of the room.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Around the room you can also see amazing lego sculptures to inspire children’s imagination. This also affords a well earned break for parents! There is a such a variety of activities at Legoland Malaysia. They occasionally switch the theme of this section.

The Ninjago ride (Land of Adventure)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Ninjago ride is an interactive ride. You and your team sit in a small car and drive around interactive ninja scenes. In this adventure your body movement is detected by sensors so you can Ninja battle with the digital lego characters.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

We love for use of Japanese decorations and trees all around the building here.

4D Cinema (Imagination Zone)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

If you need a little rest they also have a 4D cinema at Legoland. Admission to the 4D Cinema is free of charge and included with your entrance ticket. Just arrived at the show time and you can walk straight in. The 4D Cinema shows a range of different 4D adventure lego movies throughout the day. If you have never experienced a 4D movie before, we highly recommend stopping by.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

At the 4D Cinema they give you special 3D glasses and they also include other elements that have the fourth dimension to the experience. For example wind and rain (don’t worry this is more like spray).

The Observation Tower (Imagination Zone)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The observation tower is a large rotating lift. This is a slow, steady and scenic ride. If you do the observation tower you are seated and looking out at the glass window which affords a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Legoland park and the surrounding areas. This ride takes around 10 minutes.

Top tip: If you are not sure which rides to go on, taking a ride up the observation tower allows you to see the park from above and get inspired.

The Aquazone Wave Racer (Lego Technic Zone)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Aquazone Wave Racer is a fun water ride that spins you over the water. You can ride the Aquazone Wave Racer without getting wet. Children over 100cm and 6 years old can ride the Aquazone Wave Racer accompanied by an adult.

Dino Island log flume (Land of Adventure)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Dino Island log flume is a boat ride with a dinosaur theme. The boat leads around a river with Lego dinosaur exhibits. The Dino Island ends with a splash. Like all the best log flumes that is a huge exciting drop finishing with a massive splash. If you ride to Dino Island log flume all of your clothes will be wet through. Don’t take any cameras, phones or valuables on the Dino Island ride. We recommend doing this activity in swimwear before visiting from Legoland Water Park. Also, be aware that kids need to be at least 110 cm tall and over six years old to ride the Dino Island log flume accompanied by an adult.

The Imagination Zone park

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

If you are visiting Legoland Malaysia with a toddler, the Imagination Zone is the place for you. The Imagination Zone is an area of the theme park that has small climbing frames and rides for younger children, such as the Lego train ride.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

We love the fact that the imagination zone is also covered by a large canopy to provide shade from the intense sun.

The remote control boats (Lego City)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

If you are looking for something a bit slower and more serene check out the remote control boats at the Boating Lake in Lego City. This is a great option if you just need to chill out or you are looking for activities with younger children at Legoland. Additional fees apply for this activity.

The Great Lego Race (Lego Technic Zone)

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Welcome to the world’s first virtual reality roller coaster! This roller coaster is designed to be ridden with a virtual reality headset. Experience the acceleration and wind of this roller coaster with a virtual reality simulation headset on.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Since the covid pandemic Unfortunately they have not been using the VR headset due to the risk of contamination. This roller coaster is still a lot of fun even without the VR headsets.

The Technic Twister (Lego Technic Zone)

Get dizzy on the Technic Twister. On this ride you sit in a compartment with your friends and as the whole platform spins around, you can also spin a wheel in the middle to make your friends even more dizzy.

Legoland express

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

This colourful Lego themed train runs a loop route around the park allowing you to look at all of the attractions and fun of the park. The Legoland Express is not a way of getting around, rather a way of relaxing and enjoying the exciting scenery on getting inspired by the range of rides, attractions and shows this amazing park has to offer.

The Miniland exhibitions

And definitely do not miss the Miniland Lego sculptures. Perfect for anyone who loves Lego and travel. The Miniland Lego sculptures are located at the center to Legoland theme park. These impressive multiples of themed on various iconic parts of the world. Don’t miss the Petronas Towers, Angkor Wat Temple, the Taj Mahal and much much more.

Remember, this is only a selection of the amazing rides, activities and shows at Legoland Malaysia. For a full list of

Sea Life at Legoland Malaysia

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Sea life at Legoland Malaysia is in an indoor Aquarium. Sea life has a range of fish tanks and glass tunnels that allow you to get up and close to amazing underwater species. Experience the fascinating, bizarre and beautiful at Sea Life. From colourful starfish to eerie jellyfish and elegant sharks, Sea Life has it all.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

We absolutely love the “touch a starfish” activity. This is great for kinaesthetic learners. Which child doesn’t want to touch some amazing creatures in an aquarium?!

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The seahorse tank is strangely mesmerizing. It feels like you could spend the whole day just gazing at these bizarre animals.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

We were also impressed by the big glass tunnel with a range of larger fish. You can see plenty of black tip reef sharks swimming around this tank. And don’t miss the large strange humphed parrot fish too. And if you want to see something spine-tingling don’t miss the jellyfish tank.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Sea life at Legoland also has exhibitions and activities to help children understand the importance of protecting, conserving and respecting our oceans.

On a personal note, as a papa who loves scuba diving and free diving, I am so grateful for the opportunity to share this amazing underwater world with my children.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

My youngest son is only 2 years old, and yet he was able to gaze at some of these incredible animals with me. And hopefully this will inspire him by the beauty of our oceans.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

It is possible to walk around this Aquarium in 45 minutes. But in our opinion this would be rushed. Although there are so many exciting things to do in Legoland Malaysia, we would encourage you not to rush Sea Life.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

It is easy to miss how amazing this place is. If you have time, we would really encourage you to slow down and enjoy learning in this beautiful place.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Top tip: If you have a ticket to access all areas of the park but you are only here for one day, we recommend visiting the aquarium at the hottest part of the day. The aquarium is air conditioned and will provide a restful and enjoyable experience to break up the day.

The Legoland Water Park

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Legoland water park is right next to the Legoland theme park. At the entrance to the Legoland Water Park there are changing rooms, showers, toilets and lockers.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Legoland water park has water activities suitable for every age. They have a lazy river with floating Lego pieces and floating rings. They have a shallow pool for babies and toddlers with small slides and squirty animals.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

They have a large water adventure castle with slides, nets, splash buckets and more. Don’t miss the Legoland wave pool (they have life jackets for non-swimmers) and of course sun loungers so parents can take a well earned break!

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Legoland water park also has a selection of faster slides for older children: If you are looking for a competitive adrenaline rush try out the mat racer slide. You ride down this speedy slide on your front holding onto a foam mat and see if you can beat your friends to the bottom.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Alternatively, if you want to have some fun with friends try out the large ring slide. These large rings can accommodate a group. Speed down large funnels and tubes as you pray that your ring doesn’t flip over.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

One of the things we absolutely love about the Legoland water park is, at the bottom of all the faster slides, there is a Lego boat activity. This is great for younger children who are not allowed to ride on the faster slide. You can build a lego boat and then race it down the small waterway.

Can you buy food at Legoland Malaysia?

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Yes you can buy food at Legoland Malaysia. The Legoland Malaysia theme park has a wide range of cafes and restaurants available with different types of food on offer. You can also buy refreshing cold drinks around the park too.

If you are looking for a large range of food and an indoor seating area check out Pizza Mania located in the imagination Zone. Side dishes start with around 10 ringgits each (roughly £2 or $2.50). Expect to pay around 20-30 ringgits for pastas and chicken (roughly £4 – £6 or $5 – $8). Pizzas range between 40 – 60 ringgits (£8 – £12 or $10 – $15) depending on the size and topping.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The different types of food and prices vary quite a lot throughout the park at different outlets. For example, a burger at the Kings Grill (Lego Kingdoms) costs 100 ringgits (around £20 or $25). If you grab a burger at the Burger Junction in the Land of Adventure it will cost around 40 ringgits (around £8 or $10).

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Some of the food Outlets have vegetarian and vegan food options available. Drinks typically cost 5 – 10 ringgits (around £1 – £2 or $1.30 – $2.50) at most food outlets at Legoland Malaysia. It is worth being aware that they do not have any water fountains or water dispensers to top up water bottles. Cold 500ml water bottles can be purchased from food outlets for around RM4. Be aware that Legoland has a “no outside food” policy.

Are there shops near Legoland Malaysia?

Legoland Malaysia is located next to a small shopping mall Called the Mall of Medini (sounds exotic doesn’t it?) This shopping mall has a supermarket called Big. There are also several small restaurants nearby and a Starbucks.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Oh yeah and make sure you don’t miss the epic Legoland gift shops too!

What is the resort like at Legoland Malaysia?

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Legoland Malaysia has its very own resort. The Legoland resort is a magical themed hotel, the perfect place to stay and celebrate your time at Legoland. Everything about the Legoland resort screams fun. On the lift you even have a disco ball! And we absolutely love to play areas in the reception too. The rooms in the Legoland resort each have a unique, creative and interesting theme.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Legoland Hotel guests also get a special offer for the Legoland park: Get 2-Day Combo Ticket to Legoland Theme Park, Water Park and Aquarium for the price of 1-Day Combo Ticket.

How do you get to Legoland Malaysia?

If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur there are several ways to get to Legoland Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur.

1 Take a bus: 5 hours, 70 ringgits

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The cheapest way to get to Legoland Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur to take a bus.

Buses from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru run from the Kuala Lumpur TBS bus station (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) in the south of Kuala Lumpur. From KL sentral, take the KLIA transit line. If you get off at the first stop (Bandar Tasik Selantan) you can walk across a pedestrian bridge to the TBS bus terminal. It is possible to buy bus tickets on arrival at the terminal or to purchase them in advance online. A bus ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru should cost in the region of 25 to 35 ringgits.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

The Bus Journey from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru will take around 5 hours (including a stop) and drop you off at Larkin bus terminal in Johor Bahru. From the Larkin bus terminal you can’t take a taxi ( use Grab ) to Legoland for around 35 ringgits. This is a long journey we recommend staying at Legoland or nearby. Also if you are travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru by bus in Malaysia, be aware that they do not generally have toilets on board. This can be quite tricky if you are travelling with young kids.

2 Take a train: 8 hours, 90 ringgits

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

It is possible to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru by train. However, the journey is quite slow and more expensive than bus.

Another way to get to Johor from Kuala Lumpur is to take a train. That is no single train line running all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru. Instead you need to take an ETS train from KL sentral to Gemas. This leg of the journey takes around two and a half hours. The train from kl sentral to Gemas costs around 30 ringgits. At Gemas you need to change to a KMT train to JB sentral. The second leg of the journey takes around 5 hours. The train from Gemas to JB Sentral costs around 20-30 ringgits. When you arrive at JB Central Station you can take a taxi to Legoland. The taxi will cost in the region of 30-40 ringgits.

3 Take a flight: 1 hour (flight time) 200 ringgits

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

Another way to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru is to take a flight. This is a particularly good option if you are short of time. Several Airlines operate the route between Kuala Lumpur on Johor Bahru. For example, AirAsia (the local budget, no thrills airline) operates flights from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru for around 150 ringgits. The flight itself takes around 1 hour. If you are taking short domestic flights, it is very important to consider transit time to and from the airport and additional waiting time at the airport for your total journey time. A taxi from the airport to Legoland is likely to cost around 40-50 ringgits.

Where can you park at Legoland Malaysia?

There is a large carpark located at the entrance to Legoland Malaysia. It costs RM10 per day to park. Take a card when you enter the carpark and then pay at the parking machines at the end of the day.

How does Legoland Malaysia fit into your itinerary?

If you are traveling around Malaysia, here are some ideas of how you can fit Legoland into your itinerary.

It is worth considering which other activities you would like to do around the south of peninsula Malaysia. For example, from Johor Bahru it is very easy to travel over land into Singapore. Alternatively, if you are interested in visiting the historic town of Malacca this is a short bus ride up the coast. If you are looking to visit islands in the south of Malaysia there are also some very beautiful islands, including Rawa Island and Tioman Island. These are great spots for snorkeling and diving.

kuala lumpur to legoland travel time

There is Universal Stuidos and Night Safari in Singapore that might be worth a visit.

You may also find this travellers article --->> http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g298570-c187438/Kuala-Lumpur:Malaysia:Legoland.Hellokitty.Or.Theme.Parks.html that is in the FAQ for FAQ trips outside KL a useful read.

It is not really a day trip from KL, and you are better off flying!

i know....i hav already been to singapore and gone to universal studio....

well i think i better stick with sunway lagoon in KL itself this time...

Thanks for getting the information in this webpage. Thank for the web page facility to have these infos over web pages.

Well I along with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) are visiting KL on 26th, will stay in Cititel Hotel in Midvalley and shall be staying there for couple of days. We actually are wishing to visit legoland during this trip. Please provide me about the package and financial involvement in this trip. Oh we wish to make this visit one day.

I shall be rather be happy if you would reply me with the info to email ID: [email protected] which will help me to avail you package during my stay in KL.

Thanking you,

Q.S.M. Faisal

Hi QSM, most of us here are not travel agents, but are just volunteering our time giving advice.

Legoland is 400km south of KL and is not suitable to be done as a day trip. It should be combined with a trip to singapore if possible.

Since you only have a couple of days, it is best to just spend it in KL

Recenty we went to Logoland but we travel to JB from KL the day before by train and stayed there. Even a whole one day was not enough for Legoland (if visiting Water park + thame park). We entered when it opened at 10 am and exit at 8 pm closing time but we missed many things. Kids were exhausted already after the Waterpark!

Traveling from KL the same day and return is not practical and will be a wast of your money and time. As maic said above enjoy it in KL.

Thank you for your reply. I would rather happy if you would let me know about the expenditure in legoland like entry fees and other corresponding fees inside of legoland. Please provide this guidance lastly.

Thanking you once again.

Time to tick Legoland Malaysia off your bucket list: Here's what to expect this 2024

There's a lot to look forward to this year in Legoland Malaysia, a theme park that celebrates one of the world's most recognizable toy brands.

Company representatives recently visited Manila to announce some of Legoland Malaysia's newest offerings, ranging from themed rooms and attractions to unique exhibitions and seasonal experiences.

Also present during the huddle with local media was Malaysian ambassador to the Philippines Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, who noted the similarities between Filipinos and their southeast Asian neighbors.

"Malaysia and the Philippines both have the warmth and friendliness of its people... Beyond the beautiful landscape, culture, and food are the people. I hope that when you visit Malaysia, you have the same experience because we are similar in many ways," he added, declaring that Legoland Malaysia "is waiting for you with open arms."

The Philippines is one of the top international markets of Legoland Malaysia, according to the theme park's director of sales and marketing, Thila Munusamy. "Overall Malaysia is still the highest, followed by Singapore. And then the surrounding southeast Asian countries, with the Philippines being one of the Top 5," she said, not citing figures.

A study from the Philippine Travel Agencies Association supports this finding, with Malaysia one of Filipinos' go-to destinations alongside Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand.

"They (Filipinos) like going to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and combine their itinerary," said Munusamy, when asked to share insights about Legoland Malaysia's Philippine market. "When they come to Legoland, there's also a number of attractions nearby... I find that it's also one of the things that they do, they go to the premium outlet which is about 20 to 25 minutes away. They also like to explore culinary experiences."

CS Lim, Legoland Malaysia's divisional director, for his part said: "Malaysia is more than just a country in southeast Asia, it's a treasure trove of culture and history... And what makes Legoland different is it's not just about having fun. We're also learning and growing together, or what we call 'edutainment.'"

Here's what's new at Legoland Malaysia:

Miniland Amazing Malaysia

Handout

Legoland Malaysia has brought to life the country's iconic landmarks, cultural spaces, and natural wonders this year. Miniland Amazing Malaysia lets you step into a miniature world using Lego bricks -- and with the added shade structures throughout the area, you can have a respite from the summer heat.

Lego Friends-themed rooms

Handout

We're not talking about the famed sitcom, but Lego's collection of toys with more detailed and realistic figures. Legoland Malaysia now has hotel rooms featuring Friends-themed designs and characters, each able to accommodate a family of five -- and spacious enough to have separate sleeping quarters. You can also join Lego Friends via a 4D movie experience at the park.

Splash Carnival

Handout

In July, Legoland Water Park will bring back its Splash Carnival with a brand new tropical beach theme. Here, you can enjoy water-based activities like aqua zumba, and even play with Lego bricks.

Seasonal events

Handout

Legoland Malaysia is holding events throughout the year to add to its lineup of attractions, rides, and experiences for guests. Among these is Brick-or-Treat, an event that promises thrilling parades, encounters with exclusive Halloween Lego characters, and a seasonal 4D movie titled "The Great Monster Chase."

In December, Legoland Malaysia will put up the largest Lego Christmas tree in Southeast Asia this year as part of its Brick-Tacular Holidays event. There will also be a Lego advent calendar with daily surprises for park guests and visits from Lego Santa, among others.

Sea Life Underwater Dining Experience

Handout

Legoland Malaysia has an aquarium attraction called Sea Life Malaysia, where you can encounter over 13,000 sea creatures across 11 habitat zones. This year, it is bringing back the Sea Life Underwater Dining Experience, where you can savor a meal amid the aquarium's wonders after hours, followed by an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour.

Book Early and Save promo

To top it all off, Legoland Malaysia is offering the Book Early and Save promo on its website. The limited-time deal gives discounts on day tickets for the theme park, water park, and Sea Life attractions.

Located in Johor, Legoland Malaysia has more than 80 rides, shows, and attractions, and also includes a water park, aquarium, and hotel. It is accessible from parts of Malaysia and Singapore. It is a 55-minute drive from Singapore's Changi Airport, and is 20 minutes away from Johor's Senai International Airport.

Map: Going To Legoland From Singapore

The distance from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia is approximately 45 kilometres although this depends on exactly where you are coming from in Singapore. The Singapore to Legoland Malaysia travel time is approximately an hour but this heavily depends on how busy the border is.

The map below shows how to travel from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia.

BEST OPTION: How To Get From Singapore To Legoland Malaysia

We can book you a private taxi from Singapore to Legoland here . It is by far the easiest option and only costs SG$90 for up to five people.

Here is a summary of all the options for how to get to Legoland from Singapore. Below, each of these are elaborated with exact instructions.

Option 1: Singapore to Legoland By Bus

If you want to take a Singapore to Legoland Malaysia bus, there are two choices – the yellow public Causeway link buses going to Legoland from Singapore or a Legoland shuttle bus Singapore.

Catching the Causeway link buses are cheaper but they take much longer and can be confusing. They can also be very full and aren’t great if you have luggage, young children or doing a day trip and want to maximise your time at Legoland. I wouldn’t recommend this option at all if you want to do a day trip to Legoland.

A coach to Legoland from Singapore is much faster – it is just going straight there (although you will still need to get off at the border) and there should be more space. It should also wait for you at the border instead of having to find a new bus. However, there is less flexibility of what time you will depart and where to catch them from.

Causeway Link Bus To Legoland Malaysia

When it comes to how to go to Legoland Malaysia from Singapore by bus, there are a few options depending on where you are departing from.

In all cases, you are looking for yellow Causeway Link buses. You are going to have to catch a few of them as none are direct to Legoland and you’ll need to get off the bus at each side of the border, go through immigration and then wait for the next bus to come.

Looking at Google maps can be the best way to sort out exactly what buses to get from where you are in Singapore to Legoland.

But basically, you can look for Causeway Link CW1 (Kranji MRT Station), CW2 (Queen Street), or CW5 (Newton Circus). They will take you to the Woodland Checkpoint (Singapore immigration).

From here, hop back on a Causeway Link bus to the customs at Johor Bahru to enter Malaysia. Once you have entered, you’ll need to hop back on a Causeway Link bus going to JB Larkin station.

From here, you can take Causeway Link, LM1. It’ll take you to Mall Of Medini which is a short walk to Legoland. The big downside is that this bus only runs every 90 minutes. It takes about 45 minutes.

The Singapore to Legoland bus fare is approximately SG$7 all up. The Singapore to Legoland Malaysia bus travel time will depend on where you depart from and how busy the border is. From downtown areas in Singapore, two and a half hours is normal and that’s if you get a good connection for your second bus.

You can read more about Causeway Link buses here.

Singapore Legoland Shuttle

The WTS Travel Singapore to Legoland coach departs from Singapore Flyer and goes directly to Legoland Malaysia every morning.

The Singapore flyer bus to Legoland generally leaves at 9am and returns at 5:15pm but this can vary and there can be multiple departures at peak times. When border times are short, the Singapore flyer to Legoland travel time is only about an hour.

Click here for more information and to book the coach from Singapore Flyer to Legoland Malaysia.

There are also other options for how to go from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia by coach with different departure points including Golden Mile Tower, Boon Lay, Tuas and more. If you are looking for how to get from Singapore airport to Legoland Malaysia, you can also get a shuttle bus to save you needing to go into the city.

Click here to see all options.

These are the only bus options I recommend for a day trip to Legoland. Note that you’ll still need to exit the bus at both sides of the border.

Option 2: Taxi From Singapore To Legoland Malaysia

If you want to go from Singapore to Legoland by taxi, you can’t catch any taxi in Singapore. It has to be an especially licensed Singapore taxi or a Malaysian taxi.

I recommend a Malaysian taxi as a Singapore taxi can only take you to Larkin Bus Terminal in Malaysia and then you will need to take a second Malaysian taxi to Legoland Malaysia.

You can take a Malaysian taxi across from Singapore at the Ban San St. Taxi Kiosk on Queen St. This is straightforward and they can drop you off at Legoland. This taxi should take about an hour if lines aren’t long at the border.

A huge plus of taking a taxi is that you don’t have to get out of your car at the border. They can drive you through.

Make sure you also take into account that you need to get to the taxi stand in Queen Street. It is near Bugis MRT.

Since this still costs S$80, I recommend you take the next option, of a private transfer, which is only slightly more, holds up to 5 people and will pick you up from anywhere in Singapore. You can also book this for a certain time so you don’t need to worry about getting stuck waiting for a taxi.

This is especially the case for the return journey, as you’ll need to make your way from Legoland to JB Larkin before you can catch your taxi which is about 20-30 minutes away.

Option 3: Singapore To Legoland Private Transfer

The easiest answer for how to get from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia is by private car. You can book a private transfer that will pick you up from wherever you want in Singapore and drop you off at the entry to Legoland in Malaysia.

This way you don’t need to worry about getting to taxi or bus stops and can relax when going through the border. You won’t have to leave the air conditioned comfort of your car

A private car Singapore to Legoland is more expensive at SG$90. However, if you have the budget, this will make your trip to Legoland so much more enjoyable, especially with kids. For this price, you can have up to five passengers. There’s also larger vehicle options for bigger groups.

You can book it here.

You can also book the return journey for the same price. It’s far and away the best way to visit Legoland, especially on a day trip.

Option 4: Singapore to Legoland By Car

If you have your own car in Singapore then the best option may simply be to drive across.

As stated above, the Singapore to Legoland distance is about 45 kilometres and at times when the border isn’t busy, you could be across in as fast as 50 minutes.

Legoland Malaysia Lego Ninjago The Ride

Option 5: Singapore Legoland Tour

Another easy option for a Legoland day trip from Singapore is to simply take a tour. A tour will include transfers and entry tickets to Legoland Malaysia.

This is a very easy way to go.

You can see more options and book a tour here.

However, it can be much cheaper to simply book return private transfers yourself here and then book your discounted Legoland admission here . It’s also more flexible to do this.

Want the Easiest (and BEST) Way to travel between Singapore and Legoland?

We can book a taxi for you from anywhere in Singapore directly to Legoland for a great price.

A taxi is the best way to cross the border as you don’t have to leave the air-conditioned comfort of your vehicle, and you can have maximum time at Legoland.

Click here for prices and online booking.

Travelling back from Legoland to Singapore gives you the same options as the way over, just in reverse.
