- Create New Wish List
Description
TeraFlex Alpine RT (Rogue Trail) Suspension Systems build on our already capable Alpine CT (Cross-Trail) Suspension Systems. These systems include all our top-of-the-line components. With its Alpine IR Long Arms & Brackets, the new Alpine RT3 Long Arm Extended-Travel Suspension System provides a completely new driving experience.
This kit includes HD Forged Adjustable Track Bars and Track Bar Brackets for maximum adjustability making them the perfect mix of performance and comfort. Adjustable Alpine IR Long Arms balance front caster angle and pinion angles as well as optimize rear pinion angles, anti-squat geometry, and tire position on vehicles with 3–6” lifts. On higher lifts, Long Arm Brackets reposition frame-end control arm mounting points to restore near factory orientation to reduce bushing stress during extreme droop as well as shock load transferred through the Long Control Arms.
Independent Rotation (IR) Bushings remove bushing bind during full suspension travel for less overall bushing load during articulation resulting in unrestricted droop as well as a noticeable ride improvement whether on the highway or the trail. HD Forged Adjustable Track Bars and Track Bar Brackets improve steering response, center the axles to optimize vehicle roll center, and reduce body roll for unsurpassed handling. Extended-Travel Suspension Systems include carefully selected components to safely provide 16” of rear suspension travel. This results in improved suspension geometry and relaxed control arm angles for a superior ride quality and performance regardless of terrain.
These systems restore front and rear roll axis angles to minimize brake dive and acceleration squat. TeraFlex suspension systems provide reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Alpine RT Suspension Systems are for the Jeeper who wants it all! Does NOT include shocks. We recommend Falcon Performance Shocks. Sold separately.

Top 10 Most Reliable Used Jeeps On the Market
Posted: April 30, 2024 | Last updated: April 30, 2024
Jeep has long been known for its rugged durability, tracing its roots back to the tough-as-nails Willys Jeep of 1941. While models like the Wrangler maintain this legacy, not all Jeeps are built the same. And believe me, no one wants to spend money on a vehicle that proves to be unreliable. Some Jeeps are solid performers, while others struggle with issues like wobbly steering and faulty electricals.
For anyone in the market for a used Jeep, it’s crucial to know which models stand the test of time. We’re here to make it easy on you and show you which used Jeeps are the most reliable so you can choose wisely.
2015 Jeep Wrangler
The 2015 Jeep Wrangler is highly regarded as the most reliable model of the JK generation, which ran from 2006 to 2018. This standout year is known for having fewer issues compared to its predecessors. With its enhanced road handling and updated interior, it maintains the rugged off-road capability Jeep enthusiasts expect.
The 2015 Wrangler is also popular for its potential for upgrades and personalization, starting from a strong and reliable base. Maintenance costs average around $645 annually, with an estimated total of $10,397 over the first ten years. Only one recall has been reported for this model.
2007 Jeep Commander
No longer in production, the 2007 Jeep Commander is still a commendable option in the used SUV market. Launched in 2005, it impressed many with its roomy interior that seats up to seven and the powerful 360-hp Hemi V8 engine option. Known for its reliability during a time when other Jeeps frequently encountered problems, the Commander scored 78 on J.D. Power’s reliability scale.
It typically incurs maintenance costs of $639 per year, with an estimated ten-year total of $6,380. This model has been subject to five recalls.
2011 Jeep Patriot
The 2011 Jeep Patriot was an excellent choice for families looking for an affordable and reliable SUV. It first hit the roads in 2006 and was produced until 2017. The 2011 model, in particular, received a facelift and stands out as the most reliable, with a J.D. Power score of 79.
It typically costs about $616 a year to maintain, with total expenses over a decade coming to approximately $6,240. This model has experienced four recalls.
2020 Jeep Renegade
The 2020 Jeep Renegade shines in the subcompact SUV class, offering the ruggedness of larger SUVs in a smaller, city-friendly package. It’s great for young families, offering affordability and good fuel efficiency. It started production in 2015 and has a strong record for off-road capabilities, especially in the Trailhawk version.
This model has a reliability score of 80 and low annual maintenance costs of around $498, with a ten-year estimated maintenance cost of $10,083. Impressively, it has had no recalls.
2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, part of the fourth generation that debuted in 2011, is noted for its significant enhancements, such as the four-wheel independent suspension system. This upgrade improved both the on-road and off-road handling, making it versatile enough for daily errands or adventurous trips.
Known for its solid performance over a decade-long production, the later years like 2017 are particularly reliable, earning high marks on J.D. Power’s reliability ratings. The average maintenance cost per year is about $517, with estimated costs over ten years at $10,484. This model has three recalls.
2020 Jeep Compass
The 2020 Jeep Compass, first introduced in 2007 and significantly revamped in 2011, represents the second generation of one of Jeep’s initial crossover SUVs. It combines an affordable starting price under $30,000 with reliable performance, courtesy of its 180-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. While it may not offer thrilling performance, it excels in reliability, perfect for everyday use.
The 2020 model boasts an excellent reliability score from J.D. Power and is one of the most cost-effective options in its class. It has an average annual maintenance cost of $526 and no recalls, making it a dependable choice.
2018 Jeep Cherokee
The 2018 Jeep Cherokee, part of the renowned line since 1974, stands out in the compact crossover SUV category. Known for its stylish design and comfortable interior, it offers a variety of reliable and economical engines.
This model year is affordable to maintain, with average yearly costs around $376 and estimated ten-year expenses totaling $10,244. However, buyers should be aware of its six recalls, a factor to consider in its overall reliability profile.
2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee represents the final year of its fourth generation, offering a matured blend of style and function right before the model was completely redesigned in 2022. It features enhanced safety options, including automated emergency braking, and a choice of interior colors.
Known for its improved reliability, it scores 84 on J.D. Power’s scale. Maintenance runs about $666 yearly, with ten-year costs also at $10,484. This model is particularly appealing as it has not been subject to any recalls, enhancing its value.
2021 Jeep Gladiator
Launched in 2020, the Jeep Gladiator marks a revival of a classic, previously produced from 1962 to 1988. Sharing much of its design and components with the Wrangler, especially evident in its front look, the Gladiator is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds.
Highly rated for reliability, it scored 85/100 on J.D. Power’s “Quality and Reliability” and 4.6/5.0 based on Kelley Blue Book consumer reviews. With no recalls and an average yearly maintenance cost of $634, the Gladiator is ideal for those needing a sturdy off-road capable pickup.
2022 Jeep Wrangler
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler continues to dominate the off-road SUV market, renowned for its iconic design and exceptional off-road capabilities. Despite historically not being the go-to for reliability, recent models like the 2022 Wrangler have seen significant improvements. These enhancements aim to make it a more reliable vehicle for daily use without sacrificing its adventure-ready nature.
The Wrangler’s continuous evolution has resulted in a J.D. Power reliability score of 86. It has average yearly maintenance costs of $694, with a ten-year estimated total of $10,397. This model also boasts having no recalls.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations
By Claudia Looi 2 Comments
Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.
Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.
Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.
The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean
To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow. Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.
The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:
1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.
2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.
10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.
