Introduction

Embarking on a Celebrity Cruise is an exciting experience that involves careful preparation and organization. One essential aspect of preparing for your cruise is obtaining luggage tags. Luggage tags serve as identification for your bags, ensuring that they are correctly delivered to your stateroom upon arrival at the ship.

In this article, we will explore the various options for obtaining luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise. Whether you prefer to request them directly from the cruise line, print them at home, or purchase them online, we will guide you through the process.

Having the proper luggage tags not only assists the ship’s crew in efficiently handling your bags but also helps you to identify your belongings among the sea of luggage. To make your cruise experience seamless, it is crucial to ensure that your luggage tags are clearly visible, sturdy, and securely attached.

So, if you’re wondering how to get luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise, keep reading to discover the different options available to you.

What Are Luggage Tags and Why Do You Need Them

Luggage tags are identification labels that are attached to your bags when you travel. They typically contain information such as your name, contact details, and cabin number. These tags play a crucial role in ensuring that your luggage is properly identified and delivered to your stateroom on the Celebrity Cruise ship.

Here are a few key reasons why luggage tags are essential for your Celebrity Cruise:

  • Efficient Baggage Handling: Luggage tags help the ship’s crew quickly identify and sort your luggage, allowing for efficient baggage handling. This streamlined process minimizes the chances of your bags getting lost or misplaced during embarkation and disembarkation.
  • Ease of Identification: With hundreds of passengers and numerous bags on a Celebrity Cruise, it can be challenging to identify your belongings amidst the sea of luggage. Luggage tags make it easier for you to spot and retrieve your bags, saving you time and potential confusion.
  • Security Purposes: Luggage tags also serve as a security measure. The information on the tags can help the ship’s crew reunite you with your bags in case they are accidentally mixed up with someone else’s belongings.
  • Smooth Check-in Process: When you arrive at the cruise terminal, having your luggage tags properly attached to your bags makes the check-in process smoother. The staff can quickly verify that your bags are correctly labeled and direct you to the appropriate drop-off location.
  • Convenience: Having your luggage tags with your contact information easily accessible can be handy in case of any unexpected situations, such as a misplaced bag. It allows the cruise line to promptly reach out to you to resolve the issue.

It’s important to note that while Celebrity Cruise provides luggage tags, it is always recommended to have additional tags as backups in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Now that you understand the importance of luggage tags, let’s explore how to obtain them for your Celebrity Cruise.

How to Obtain Luggage Tags for Your Celebrity Cruise

Obtaining luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise is a straightforward process. There are a few different options available to ensure you have the necessary tags for your bags prior to embarkation.

Let’s take a look at the three main options:

Option 1: Requesting Luggage Tags from Celebrity Cruise Line

If you prefer the convenience of receiving luggage tags directly from the cruise line, you can request them in advance. Celebrity Cruise typically provides luggage tags that are personalized with your cabin number and other relevant information.

To request luggage tags from Celebrity Cruise Line, you can either contact their customer service by phone or email, or check if there is an option to request them through your online booking portal. Once requested, the cruise line will mail the luggage tags to your home address before your departure date.

Option 2: Printing Your Own Luggage Tags at Home

If you prefer a DIY approach, printing your own luggage tags at home is a convenient and cost-effective option. Celebrity Cruise provides printable templates on their website or through your online booking portal, allowing you to customize and print your luggage tags.

All you need is access to a printer, cardstock or sturdy paper, and a clear plastic sleeve or lamination for added durability. Simply follow the instructions provided by the cruise line, making sure to include your name, contact information, and cabin number on the tags. Once printed and prepared, attach the tags securely to each bag.

Option 3: Purchasing Luggage Tags Online

If you prefer ready-made and professionally designed luggage tags, purchasing them online is a convenient option. There are various online retailers that offer a wide selection of luggage tags designed specifically for cruise travel.

When purchasing luggage tags online, make sure to choose durable and easily identifiable tags. Look for tags that include fields to fill in your name, contact details, and cabin number. Additionally, consider tags with a secure attachment method, such as a strap or buckle, to prevent them from coming off during transit.

Regardless of the option you choose, it is essential to have clearly visible and securely attached luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise. Next, we will provide some important tips for using luggage tags effectively during your cruise.

If you prefer the convenience of receiving luggage tags directly from Celebrity Cruise Line, you can request them in advance. Celebrity Cruise typically provides luggage tags that are personalized with your cabin number and other relevant information.

To request luggage tags from Celebrity Cruise Line, you have a couple of options:

  • Contact Customer Service: You can contact the cruise line’s customer service department either by phone or email. Simply provide them with your booking details, including your name, reservation number, and sailing date. Inform them that you would like to request luggage tags for your upcoming cruise. They will assist you in processing the request and ensure that the tags are mailed to your home address.
  • Online Booking Portal: Many cruise lines, including Celebrity Cruise, provide online portals for guests to manage their bookings. In some cases, you may find an option within your online portal to request luggage tags. Navigate to the appropriate section or contact information and follow the prompts to submit your request. The cruise line will then mail the luggage tags to your designated address.

It’s important to note that when requesting luggage tags from Celebrity Cruise Line, it’s best to do so in advance to allow for sufficient processing and shipping time. Aim to request the tags at least a few weeks before your departure date to ensure they arrive in a timely manner.

Upon receiving the luggage tags, carefully review the information printed on them to ensure accuracy. Check that your name, contact information, and cabin number are correct. If you notice any errors, contact Celebrity Cruise Line’s customer service immediately to rectify the issue.

Once you have the luggage tags in hand, it’s time to properly attach them to your bags. Use a sturdy plastic loop or zip tie to securely fasten the tag to the handle or strap of your luggage. Ensure that the tag is visible and easily identifiable. It’s a good idea to consider placing additional identification inside your bags, such as a copy of your travel itinerary, in case the external tag becomes damaged or detached.

By requesting luggage tags from Celebrity Cruise Line, you can enjoy the convenience of personalized tags specifically designed for your cruise. Now, let’s explore an alternative option: printing your own luggage tags at home.

If you prefer a do-it-yourself approach or need additional luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise, printing your own at home is a convenient and cost-effective option. Celebrity Cruise provides printable templates on their website or through your online booking portal, allowing you to customize and print your luggage tags.

Here’s how you can print your own luggage tags at home:

  • Access the Templates: Visit the Celebrity Cruise Line website or log in to your online booking portal. Look for the section on luggage tags or printable documents. From there, you can usually find downloadable templates that are compatible with common document editing software, such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat.
  • Personalize the Tags: Open the template in the appropriate software and customize the luggage tags. Fill in your name, contact information, and cabin number as directed on the template. Customize the font, color, and design to your preference, keeping in mind that the tags should be easily legible and identifiable.
  • Print the Tags: Load your printer with cardstock or durable paper. Adjust the print settings to ensure optimal quality. Select the number of luggage tags you need to print, and hit the print button. It’s a good idea to print a few extra tags as backups in case any get lost or damaged during the voyage.
  • Preparation and Attachment: Once the tags are printed, cut them out along the provided lines. Laminate or insert them into a clear plastic sleeve for added durability. Attach each tag securely to the handle or strap of your luggage using a plastic loop or zip tie. Make sure the tags are easily visible and won’t easily detach during travel.

Printing your own luggage tags at home offers flexibility in terms of customization and the number of tags you require. However, it’s important to ensure that the tags are printed on sturdy paper and securely attached to your bags to prevent any mishaps during transit.

Remember to double-check the accuracy of the information on the tags before attaching them to your bags. Verify that your name, contact details, and cabin number are correct. If you notice any errors, simply re-print the tags or make the necessary adjustments by hand.

Now that you know how to print your own luggage tags at home, let’s explore another option: purchasing luggage tags online.

If you prefer ready-made and professionally designed luggage tags, purchasing them online is a convenient option for your Celebrity Cruise. There are various online retailers that offer a wide selection of luggage tags specifically designed for cruise travel.

Here’s how you can purchase luggage tags online:

  • Search for Reputable Retailers: Begin by searching for reputable online retailers that specialize in luggage tags or travel accessories. Look for retailers that have positive customer reviews, offer a wide range of options, and provide secure payment methods.
  • Explore the Selection: Once you have identified potential online retailers, explore their selection of luggage tags. Consider factors such as durability, design, attachment method, and personalization options. Look for tags that include fields for your name, contact details, and cabin number.
  • Read Customer Reviews: Take the time to read customer reviews to gain insights into the quality and performance of the luggage tags. Pay attention to comments about durability, ease of use, and overall customer satisfaction. This will help you make an informed decision before making a purchase.
  • Place Your Order: Once you have selected the luggage tags you want to purchase, add them to your cart and proceed to the checkout process. Provide the necessary shipping information and complete the payment transaction. Ensure that you review your order details before finalizing the purchase.
  • Delivery and Attachment: Wait for the delivery of your purchased luggage tags. Once they arrive, verify that the information on the tags is accurate. Attach the tags securely to your luggage using a strap, buckle, or other secure attachment method. Ensure that the tags are visible and won’t easily detach during your cruise.

When purchasing luggage tags online, pay attention to the materials used and the overall quality of the tags. Look for tags made from durable materials that can withstand the rigors of travel. Additionally, consider choosing tags that stand out visually to easily spot your bags among others.

Purchasing luggage tags online offers a convenient and efficient solution, especially if you prefer ready-made tags designed specifically for travel. However, remember to allow sufficient time for the tags to be shipped to you before your departure date.

Now that you understand the various options for obtaining luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise, let’s move on to some important tips for using luggage tags effectively during your cruise.

Important Tips for Using Luggage Tags During Your Celebrity Cruise

As you prepare for your Celebrity Cruise, it’s important to keep in mind some key tips for using luggage tags effectively. These tips will help ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience when it comes to handling your bags:

  • Use Sturdy Luggage Tags: Whether you choose to request tags from the cruise line, print them at home, or purchase them online, make sure the tags are made of durable materials. Opt for tags made from plastic or laminated materials to withstand the handling process during transit.
  • Ensure Clear Visibility: Attach the luggage tags in a visible and easily accessible location on each bag. Avoid covering them with other straps or attachments. This allows the ship’s crew to quickly identify your bags and ensure proper delivery to your stateroom.
  • Double-Check Accuracy: Before attaching the luggage tags to your bags, review the information printed on them for accuracy. Verify that your name, contact details, and cabin number are correct. Any errors can lead to complications in locating your bags during the cruise.
  • Securely Attach the Tags: Use a reliable and secure attachment method to fasten the luggage tags to your bags. Opt for plastic loops, zip ties, or sturdy straps for added durability. Avoid using flimsy materials or strings that may easily come loose during transit.
  • Have Backup Identification: In addition to external luggage tags, consider placing identification inside your bags as well. Include a copy of your travel itinerary or a personalized luggage tag with your contact information. This serves as a backup in case the external tag becomes damaged or detached.
  • Remove Previous Tags: If you have any old luggage tags from previous trips, be sure to remove them before attaching the new ones. Multiple tags can cause confusion and misidentification, leading to delays in delivering your bags to your stateroom.
  • Maintain Baggage Receipts: When you drop off your bags at the cruise terminal, ensure that you receive baggage receipts for each bag. These receipts serve as additional proof of ownership and can be helpful if any issues arise during the cruise.
  • Identify Your Baggage: Consider adding a distinctive feature to your bags, such as a brightly colored strap or a unique luggage tag, to make them easily recognizable among other bags. This reduces the risk of someone mistakenly taking your luggage or vice versa.

By following these tips, you’ll increase the chances of a seamless baggage handling process on your Celebrity Cruise. Clear and visible luggage tags, accurate information, and secure attachments will contribute to a stress-free experience when it comes to identifying and retrieving your bags.

Now that you’re equipped with the knowledge of obtaining and using luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise, you’re ready to embark on your voyage with peace of mind and organized luggage.

Obtaining luggage tags for your Celebrity Cruise is a crucial step in ensuring a smooth and hassle-free travel experience. I found the following thread to be very helpful. If you read through all the info, you will find pictures of an actual on-line Celebrity reservation page showing the luggage tag order location.

http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1302575&highlight=luggage+tags

We also booked in the UK. Once your TA notifies you that your cruise documents (not the Seapass) are available to print you will see a button at the bottom right hand of the page for online check in, this allows you to order luggage labels online. They are sent by post. We have ours for 14th Jan so I would expect yours to be available any time now.

we are on the same cruise travelling from manchester,i was going to ask the same question, will try tomorrow to see if we can order.are you staying in new york for 2 nights prior to the cruise?

CinWay

I read somewhere that at 30 days before the triip you can order the luggage tags.

No we are not staying in New York - when we booked the cruise we did not know where we would be flying to - so does seem a shame now that we are just flying in and out. Just worried about the weather really flying into New York.

shame about that we arrive on fri 27th ,have 2 nights in new york then onto the ship on sun 29th.we have been to new york in jan before and it was fine so fingers crossed,we are hoping to get off the ship about 9 when we get back and as our flight isnt until 730pm we are having a shopping trip to jersey gardens which is 5 mins from the airport.

edocs now available, have just ordered luggage labels,so should be the same for you.

mzk90

You must remember though that not everyone's tickets/e-docs release at the same time as it can depend on all sorts of factors, such as flights being ticketed or the balance on your cruise having been paid (By your agent to Celebrity, not you to your agent!!!) :D

It will appear under your online reservation information approximately 6 weeks prior to your cruise. You can order them online and get them in a few days via U.S. Mail. It is a service for U.S. and Canadian customers only.
If you check the location of several posters on this thread who have received or ordered the tags, you will notice that they are from the UK. Tags must be available to them as well.

If you live in the UK and you order the tags online, they are posted to you from Celebrity's UK office.

bubbasqueen

We ordered the tags through the mail several weeks ahead of time since there was no way to order them online. They did not arrive in time since we went five days early to Barcelona.

We just filled out tags at the dock. However, one bag was very late arriving to our room. When we left the ship we noticed many bags without tags in a special section. The tags are very flimsy and tear off easily. I suggest making your own labels with your room number for extra measure. Be sure to put your information inside your suitcase too.

Product information

Technical details, additional information, warranty & support, from the brand.

Cruise Luggage Tags

As we introduced our brand to the market, it quickly gained popularity among cruise ship enthusiasts.

Our luggage tags became a staple for many travellers who valued durability and style, and we even started collaborating with cruise lines to offer exclusive designs that matched their ships' themes.

Today, our cruise luggage tags have helped countless travellers embark on unforgettable journeys with peace of mind.

How we got our start?

We loved cruising and all the excitement that came with it, but we noticed a problem that many travellers faced: flimsy and unreliable luggage tags that often got lost or damaged during the trip. So, we decided to create our own luggage tag brand specifically designed for cruise ship travellers

What makes our products unique?

Our luggage tags were made of high-quality materials PVC that was resistant to water, tearing, and fading.

Why do we love what we do?

Is this another cut back by the cruise line?

Print the ones from the docs. It is a waste to keep mailing stuff around the country.

2016 cruise is past final payment so we're going but after that.......

(And I know this is a REALLY small thing, but a lot of drops of water make an ocean and Celebrity is drip, drip, dripping......)

5,000+ Club

I just paid balance and have been informed that Celebrity, 5 minutes ago issued to the agents that there are no more pre order luggage labels you can either use the ones in back of e doc's or get them at the port.   This is straight from the horses mouth.:D   Happy Sailing

The horse told you or your TA said the horse told them?

By the way this would not surprise me and it would explain the recent issue with ordering tags on line. Implementation of changes is a significant weakness of Celebrity. Not even sure if any of the mainstream cruise lines send out tags at no cost anymore. Sending them out doesn't give Celebrity much of an advantage anyway. Printing the tags on Our Princess cruises is no big deal.

Just call the C&A desk and they will happily mail them out to you. Just did so myself and they were so friendly and helpful.

Well, i think I need to, as they say, eat crow on this one. :o

Just called Celebrity and my luggage tags are being sent out.

These boards are usually a good source of correct information but it seems that whoever the OP spoke to was wrong. :o

Wow!!! So then, I guess you could say in your case not having "luggage tags" mailed to your home is the "final straw" Wow!!!

It is just not that big a deal. You obviously use a computer. You have to print out your express pass. All it takes is another click of the mouse thing and you can print 1, 2, even 50 luggage tags if that is your desire. You can buy permanent tag holders online for a couple of bucks a piece.

All the lines are drip, drip, dripping, all of them.

And does that really surprise anyone? :D One source is almost never enough to confirm anything at Celebrity (or any other cruise line for that matter).

Discussed luggage tags with Celebrity and other things. They stated they had computer problems - we all already knew that - and lost the request data for a couple weeks worth.

Celebrity is NOT discontinuing tags, but there are certainly many who will not receive. Attaching a piece of paper to your suitcase from your E-documents is crazy unless you have a holder. More than likely to get lost.

Why do people continue to not want to have a porter attach a tag at the pier? Takes no time at all. No hassle, no fuss, no stress and actually less effort.

We were told our luggage tags had been shipped a month before we sailed. They never arrived, so we were given new ones at the port. Big deal. Took about 5 seconds. :)

I did the online checkin a few weeks ago for my upcoming cruise. B2b on Summit I requested luggage tags and never received them. I tried calling Celebrity. After going through the many prompts, the hold time was outrageous. I then trued to send email through the website CONTACT US. There is no address or prompt to click on to send the email. Throughly frustrated I wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same frustration. I know that I can get tags from the porters. If Celebrity chooses to not mail tags, the least they ought to do is state it when you complete the online checkin. I understand that not mailing tags saves Celebrity money. Fix your website so that you can send the completed email. Whoever does your IT is poor. If you want to save money, keep guests happy, have a website that is works. I am sure that Celebrity is receiving countless phonecalls from confused guests. the time it takes to answer those phone calls(assuming the caller stays on hold) is a waste if everyone's time. It makes you wonder what will Celebrity cut back next.

Bo1953

I Am wondering though, if one knows they can get luggage tags from Porters ship side, what is the reason to be frustrated by not getting them via a call to X?

I thought, and correct me if I Am wrong, that luggage tags were also included in the XPress Pass documents which most of us can print from home to take to the ship (or not as we can also check-in ship side). On ALL of the sailings we have taken, this has been the case. Are you intimating that X has stopped this practice as well? Yes, it is like self-service but still available.

Our individual perfect worlds would be very much different than what we are experiencing, currently, alas it is perfect despite the appearance of it being otherwise, for me.

bon voyage and have fun on your B2B despite the luggage tag issue.

For those asking why it's such a big deal, and why we can't just print them online to use, or why not just get them from the porters, let me state my reasons against this which I am sure are the same concerns others have....

1. If I print them online I have to somehow find a way to attach them to my bag. This either involves buying the luggage tag holders (additional expense for me) or jerry rigging something out of packing tape to "laminate" them and attach them to the bag.

2. Getting them from the porters is a hassle and takes additional time for for me and the porters. We live in a society that doesn't want to wait for things, we want it now. Sorry, it's just the way the world is these days.

Usually 4-6 weeks prior to my departure I give Celebrity a call for luggage tags and within a few days they show up in the mail.

Another thing I do on this phone call is remind them about the ext cord and distilled water for my cpap. Usually after we check into our cabin and meet the steward, he brings me both.

I don't know if that new policy is true, because

I just received my luggage tags in the mail, yesterday for my cruise that leaves on Sun.

If you don't receive them, they will print them for you at the cruise port. (that's what I was told)

Happy Sailings!

Celebrity has stopped mailing luggage tags out TO UK ADDRESSES two months ago.

JMG

I did the same thing for our upcoming cruise. I actually ordered them 3 times online, then I called the Captain's Club. I was assured that my order was received. Meanwhile, I printed out the tags from the e-docs. (Note...RCI has discontinued sending luggage tags to everyone. They only send tags to Pinnacle members and those that paid for suites.)

I DID GET the tags a week ago for our cruise that leaves in a few days. So, don't give up hope yet!

sptrout

I ordered our luggage tags several weeks ago for a cruise that departs Monday. I just received the tags today (Friday). I had given up on ever seeing them.

Good thing that I also checked in and printed the boarding pass, I have not been able to access our reservation for a long time.

2. Sorry, it's just the way the world is these days.

Yes, I want it now, my boarding X, that is... getting luggage tags ship side are inconsequential when in under five (5) minutes a Porter can take and tag your bags (you have to give them your bags anyway) and one is still on their way to another speedy check-in even without XPress pass, which can take up to ten (10) additional minutes...

My take would be, if one is boarding close to cut-off time (or intend to) then that could be a challenge for sure OR the idea of tipping the Porter for service is an issue, I understand that too...

I think many of us on CC know that we can get luggage tags at the pier or print them ourselves, but some of us (I'm assuming I'm not the only one) remember the days when we received our cruise booklet in the mail a few weeks prior to the cruise. For me, who cruised only once a year at the most, it was like Christmas waiting for that booklet!

Then they went to having us pay for the cruise booklet or printing from online (and we don't really need to print all that stuff). Now all we have is the luggage tags that come in the mail and I think some of us look forward to getting them. I'll admit I am one of those people. I'm sure they won't always be available by mail because it is a waste of resources, but until that time I will look forward to getting mine (ordered mine for next the cruise yesterday so hopefully they are on the way). :) If they don't arrive I still expect to have a great cruise!

........2. Getting them from the porters is a hassle and takes additional time for for me and the porters. We live in a society that doesn't want to wait for things, we want it now. Sorry, it's just the way the world is these days.

  At which port did you find it to be a hassle?

It has never been a hassle for us, always quick and easy as we have found luggage tags to be readily available at cruise ports.

At some ports we needed to stand in line to check luggage, and at other ports we didn't.

The only hassle was the standing in line,

not the tagging of the bags, which takes only a few seconds for each tag.

If there is a line for checking luggage, we like to pick up tags and tag the bags ourselves while we are waiting in line as it gives us something to do to help pass the time.

We learned long ago that it takes us less time to tag the bags at the port than to bother with ordering them in advance, either online or over the phone,

let alone the extra time spent checking the mail and possibly needing to re-order them, and then needing to remember to bring them along from home.

Just one less thing to be bothered with in advance,

although some passengers do enjoy making their own personalized luggage tags and have the free time to do so.

Time is money. I prefer to drop the bags and be on my way.

1) (additional expense) - One can get these on-line for roughly $2/per. So one has spent an additional $10-$20 on an item that can be used repeatedly. In the scheme of a $2K - 10K vacation that is peanuts.

2) Can 1-2 minutes of YOUR time be all that important. If it is, you probably should not be taking time out for a cruise. And 1-2 minutes is actually all it takes . . . . . . been there, done that.

6 top transatlantic cruises for 2024.

Journey across the Atlantic while enjoying all the amenities at sea.

The Top Transatlantic Cruises

Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2 in New York.

Sailing from New York to England on Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2 is just one of many transatlantic offerings in 2024.

Transatlantic cruises are unique when you compare them to traditional cruises most people book for family trips and romantic getaways. These voyages tend to be longer in general, and they have more built-in days at sea and offer a lot more time on board as a result. Repositioning cruises that include a transatlantic crossing tend to attract more retirees and travelers who just want to relax and enjoy their ships' amenities, especially since fewer days in port means fewer excursions and more time doing nothing at all.

That said, the fact that transatlantic cruises can last as few as seven nights means they may fit in your plans more easily than you may think. There are also some benefits to transatlantic crossings that may not be obvious, including lower nightly rates, more onboard credit, and more time to kick back and relax at a floating luxury resort in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

If you're curious which transatlantic cruises are best for 2024, here are six top picks with different cruise lengths, itineraries and unique destinations to explore.

Explore cruises on GoToSea , a service of U.S. News.

Cunard Line

Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2 in New York, near the Statue of Liberty.

Date: Departs May 5, 2024

Departure port: Brooklyn, New York

Starting price: $2,449 per person (plus port taxes and fees)

Cruise length: 7 to 18 nights

In May of 2024, Cunard's Queen Mary 2 vessel will offer three different transatlantic crossings of various lengths. Choose from a seven-night sailing from Brooklyn, New York , to Southampton, England; a nine-night sailing to Hamburg, Germany ; and an 18-night round-trip sailing that departs from Brooklyn and crosses the Atlantic twice on the way back to its starting point. This unique combination of itineraries lets you cross the sea and tailor your trip to how long you want to be away from home.

The 18-night itinerary is especially interesting, since it lets you depart from the United States and arrive back in Brooklyn in the end with stops in both England and Germany, as well as plenty of sea days in between. Luxury cruise line Cunard is known for its elegant design, lush amenities and upscale feel, and the Queen Mary 2 is one of the line's most luxurious ships. Highlights on this exclusive vessel include the Royal Court Theatre, a casino, gala evenings, an onboard spa and a vast library. The Queen Mary 2 holds up to 2,691 guests with 1,173 crew to cater to your every need.

Seabourn Cruise Line

The Seabourn Quest off island of Elba, Italy.

Date: Departs March 24, 2024

Departure port: Miami

Starting price: $5,949 per person (plus port taxes and fees)

Cruise length: 21 nights

Seabourn is offering a 21-night transatlantic cruise from Miami on Seabourn Quest in March 2024 that offers a diverse range of ports of call before ending its voyage in Las Palmas in Spain's Canary Islands . Departure from Miami is followed by nine days at sea. Then, you'll enjoy multiple stops in the Canary Islands – including Santa Cruz de La Palma and San Sebastián de La Gomera – as well as stops in Praia and Mindelo the Cape Verde archipelago.

This journey with Seabourn makes it possible for travelers to see some of the most beautiful and remote tropical islands in the world. The Canary Islands are known for their white sand beaches , volcanoes and lush greenery; similar landscapes can also be found in Cape Verde's coastal towns and villages. Seabourn Quest, a smaller ocean vessel, accommodates just 229 guests.

MSC Cruises

MSC Yacht Club Top Sail Lounge on the MSC Virtuosa.

Courtesy of MSC Cruises

Date: Departs Nov. 8, 2024

Departure port: Southampton, England

Starting price: $769 per person (plus port taxes and fees)

Cruise length: 16 nights

The MSC Virtuosa from MSC Cruises is repositioning from Europe to the Caribbean in November 2024, which gives travelers the chance to enjoy a lengthy transatlantic crossing with plenty of unique ports. This sailing departs from England with eight sea days plus stops in France, the Azores of Portugal, St. Maarten , Antigua and Barbuda, and Martinique . The ship ends its journey in Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe.

The MSC Virtuosa is a larger cruise vessel that boasts an impressive grand promenade with a LED dome ceiling, dedicated clubs for children and teens, an onboard spa, a lavish casino and the luxurious MSC Yacht Club section of the ship. This vessel holds a maximum of 6,334 passengers at once.

Princess Cruises

The Island Princess at sea.

Date: Departs July 5, 2024

Departure port: New York City (Manhattan or Brooklyn)

Starting price: $4,098 per person (plus port taxes and fees)

Cruise length: 31 nights

Princess Cruises also offers its share of transatlantic sailings on various vessels. Its 31-night crossing from New York to Barcelona, Spain , on Island Princess in July 2024 is jam-packed with exciting destinations to explore. This lengthy transatlantic voyage has only 13 sea days with planned stops in Canada's Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, England, Spain, Portugal and Morocco before the journey ends in Barcelona.

This intriguing sailing experience with Princess takes passengers to eight different countries in the span of a month. Island Princess is a nice ship for a long sailing because of its smaller size, with just 2,200 passengers and 900 crew. But the ship is also large enough to have a huge selection of included and specialty dining options, a Vegas-style casino, a sports court, a large central atrium for gathering, and several pools and hot tubs to enjoy.

Celebrity Cruises

The Celebrity Equinox at sea.

Courtesy of Celebrity Cruises

Date: Departs April 11, 2024

Departure port: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Starting price: $760 per person (plus port taxes and fees)

Cruise length: 12 nights

Celebrity Cruises is offering a 12-night sailing on Celebrity Equinox in April 2024 that starts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida , and ends in Lisbon, Portugal – making it possible for travelers to enjoy eight relaxing days at sea. What's interesting about this sailing is its stops along the way, which include the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda; Porta Delgada in Portugal's Azores archipelago; and Porto in mainland Portugal.

The Celebrity Equinox accommodates a maximum of just 2,852 passengers at once, so this Celebrity vessel is a solid choice for travelers who want just the right size ship instead of a smaller vessel or a megaship. There are also plenty of onboard features to keep you happy and entertained as you float across the Atlantic Ocean, including The Casino, The Lawn Club with outdoor games like bocce ball and croquet, The Martini Bar, the adults-only Solarium and more.

Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas in port in Florida.

Courtesy of Royal Caribbean International

Dates: Departs Oct. 24, 2024

Departure port: Barcelona, Spain

Starting price: $876 per person (plus port taxes and fees)

Cruise length: 14 nights

Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas is hosting a transatlantic voyage in October 2024 that departs from Barcelona, Spain, and ends in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This vessel will make stops in Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Cartagena and Málaga in Spain, then spend eight days at sea. After that, enjoy a day in Nassau in the Bahamas before the cruise drops passengers off in sunny Florida.

Interior staterooms on this Royal Caribbean sailing start at just $876 per person (plus port taxes and fees), which works out to around $60 per night, per person. The Oasis of the Seas megaship can hold a total of 6,771 guests and 2,109 crew, so it's an enormous vessel – to put it mildly. This size may not be ideal for travelers who want a more intimate cruising experience, but it's perfect for cruisers who want plenty of space to spread out and endless activities to take part in. Oasis of the Seas boasts 20 different restaurants and cafes, 11 bars and lounges, a variety of pools and whirlpools, a rock climbing wall, the AquaTheater diving and entertainment venue, mini-golf, a casino and plenty more.
