Great location, nice food, polite staff

Going by the reputation of government owned and run resorts, this Resort scores well over some others. This Resort is a Jungle Resort and a little away from main Town of Vidisha. The rooms we stayed were reasonable in terms of basic amenities like air-conditioning, clean bed linens, service etc. The maintenance of bathroom left a lot to desire the taps were leaking, the water was not very clean. The food was okay. The staff was good, cannot say well groomed but they were very polite and helpful. Overall an okay place and value for money.

We stayed at mp t jungle resort for two days and celebrated my husband's birthday there. At a very short notice, they arranged for a candle light dinner with simple yet classy decoration. The management and support staff are very welcoming and extremely soft-spoken. It's a quaint little place beside a river, amid-st a jungle. Boating was definitely worth it as we saw many peacocks and many other colorful birds. The food was great as well. If you like a calm and quiet place, away from city, it's worth visiting this place.

Stay taken for family and friends. Property is surrounded by jungle where u can here the melodious sound of birds, backwater and specially peacock. In winter season they arrange for camp fire that's really worth. adventure sports activities along with indoor sports also available for all age groups. Best part is staff of the resort is very cooperative and friendly. Overall worth stay.

It was a pleasant stay in forest, lush greenery, river side stay along with nicely service providers. Adventure activities are worth for cost. Boating staff was decent and helping in nature. Resort and city(vidisha) is best fit to enjoy peace during winters (nov to jan. You may also checkin for sanchi stupa nearby resort after visiting udaigiri caves.

A fine stay in the middle of the jungle with few quirks

The property is located in the middle of the jungle, and the stay is just amazing. However, I felt that rooms were not maintained properly, showers in the cottages don’t work, mountain bikes were broken, and indoor activities equipment was also broken. The staff although was super friendly and nice, even my dog had a great time there.

The MPT Jungle Resort, Udaigiri is located 1 km inside the jungle at the bank of river betwa. Excellent view from our rooms balcony, that overlooking the river. The service was excellent especially by the server laxmi narayan, vijay sharma - who gave us breakfast at 5. 30 am. They prepared food that we wanted.

It's one of the most beautiful locations for jungle resort i have visited recently. Thick jungle with river on the side. Ideal for bird photography. Rooms are huge. Service is prompt and food is excellent. They even got our car washed. Udaigiri caves is added attraction. Will visit again in winters
