I have had two terrible experiences with this travel agency! While traveling for work the hotel front desk advised me that the credit card Paradise Travel had submitted to cover my stay was not valid. The first time in Clovis, NM I had to whip out my credit card until the situation was rectified. On both of these occasions my employer had to track down the business owner to rectify the issue so I could check into my room. On one of the trips I was on I had contacted Paradise Travel to request assistance with obtaining a room that I would be paying for out of my own pocket to stay through the weekend following the completion of my work trip. I made this call prior to leaving for my destination. When I contacted Paradise Travel I spoke with a woman named Joyce who advised me it would not be a problem at all and the room would be the same rate that my employer had paid. When I got to my destination the hotel had no record of Paradise Travel making reservations for me! When I contacted the travel agency I spoke to a gentleman who was working on providing a credit card to the hotel to cover my work related stay because the card they had issued was not going through and the hotel advised me the card they were running was showing up as fraudulent. He told me he would call me back regarding my other reservation to extend my stay which I was paying for, surprise he never did. In fact I never received a call back from him or Joyce regarding my reservations. What they did do was send me an email to tell me that I could not get the rate they had promised on the phone after I was already there at my destination. This company runs a shady operation and I wouldn't trust them with any of my travel needs. I will definitely be following up with my employer as well on my experience as I am sure I am not the only person at my job who has had a horrible experience with this company!
