The location of 'Rashtrapati Niwas' in Shimla and the 'Rashtrapati Nilayam' in Hyderabad are indicative of the integrative role of the Office of the President of India in our country. Circuit one of Rashtrapati Bhavan takes the visitors on a tour of the main building, showing them the Forecourt and premier rooms of the Bhavan including, the Banquet Hall, Ashok Hall, Durbar Hall, Library, North Drawing Room, Long Drawing Room, Navachara, Arogya Vanam and more.
RBMC comprises of three distinct buildings - The Clock Tower, The Stables and The Garages. The Garages were inaugurated on July 25, 2016 while the Stables were dedicated to the nation on July 25, 2014. The Museum showcases exquisite and invaluable artifacts for lovers of art, culture, heritage and history. President Pranab Mukherjee says, “History comes alive through emotional involvement of visitors with the objects, personalities and events of importance.”
Often referred to as paradise, circuit three will take the visitors through the world famous Amrit Udyan, showcasing them the Rectangular, Long and Circular Gardens, the Herbal Garden, Musical Garden and finally the Spiritual Garden.
The President's Bodyguard (PBG), raised in 1773, is the senior most Regiment of the Indian Army. It is a Regiment carrying out ceremonial duties for the President of India. The PBG personnel are excellent horsemen, capable tank men and paratroopers.

President Murmu to visit Hyderabad on Dec 26 for five-day southern sojourn
President Droupadi Murmu will arrive here on December 26 as part of the five-day southern sojourn.
During her five-day stay in Telangana, the President will visit Ramappa and Bhadrachalam temples as well as participate in locally arranged programmes in the city, Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar had said.
She will also participate in the unveiling of the plaque of Har Dil Dhyan, Har Din Dhyan campaign to mark the sesquicentennial celebrations of Sri Ramachandraji Maharaj of Fatehpur by Sri Ramchandra Mission at Kana Shanti Vanam, Ranga Reddy district, officials had earlier said.
Somesh Kumar, who recently held a coordination meeting with the officials of various heads of the department in connection with the arrangements to be made for the President's Southern Sojourn at Rastrapathi Nilayam here, had directed the officials to work in coordination and make elaborate arrangements for the President's visit.
Elaborate security arrangements with multi-layered security have been made in view of the President's visit, police said.
Police also announced restrictions and traffic diversions on certain routes from December 26 to December 30 in order to facilitate proper regulation of traffic.

In view of the visit of the President of India Droupadi Murmu to Hyderabad on Tuesday ( July 4)
In view of the visit of the President of India Droupadi Murmu to Hyderabad on Tuesday ( July 4), Hyderabad City police imposed certain traffic restrictions and diverted vehicle traffic for security reasons.
President of India will arrive at Hakimpet Air Force Station and will proceed to Rashtrapathi Nilayam, Bollarum. The traffic will be stopped for a while or diverted at the following places/routes 1) Hanuman Temple, near Hakimpet Y Junction, 2) Bollarum Check Post, 3) Navy Junction, 4) Yapral Road, 5) Helipad Y Junction, 6) Bison Gate and 7) Lothukunta.
Due to VIP movement between 10 a.m. and 06 pm, the traffic will be stopped for a while or diverted in the enroute at the following places/routes 1) Bollarum, 2) Alwal, 3) Lothkunta, 4) Trimulgherry, 5) Karkhana, 6) JBS, 7) Plaza Junction, 8) PNT Flyover, 9) HPS Out Gate, 10) Begumpet Flyover, 11) Greenlands Junction 12) Monappa Junction, 13) Panjagutta, 14) NFCL, 15) NTR Bhavan, 16) Jubilee Hills Check Post, 17) Road No. 45 Junction.
The citizens are requested to take note of the above programme and plan their movements accordingly during the specified date and timings and cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police, City Additional Commissioner ( Traffic) G Sudheer Babu said in a statement.

Winter retreat: president droupadi murmu's 4-day visit to hyderabad from december 26.
NEW DELHI: President of India Droupadi Murmu will be visiting Hyderabad from December 26 to 30 and staying at the Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bolarum in Secunderabad Cantonment. This is part of the 72- year-old tradition, where the President of India stays in Hyderabad for the winter retreat at the end of the year.
This will be her first visit to Telangana after she assumed charge as President of India. She will participate in many programs as part of her four-day schedule here. Here is the tentative itinerary of President Droupadi Murmu:
26th December
On the 26th afternoon, she will visit the Srisailam temple and participate in various development programs there.
On the same day, from 3.05 pm to 3.15 pm, she will visit the war memorial at Bollaram and pay her respects and honor the heroes.
At 7.45 pm she will attend a dinner hosted by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at the Raj Bhavan in her honour.
27th December
On 27th at 10.30 am, she will visit the Keshav Memorial Educational Society in Narayanguda and interact with the students there.
She will proceed to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy and interact with the IPS officers undergoing training there between 3 and 4 pm.
28th December
On the 28th of this month, Droupadi Murmu will visit the Bhadrachalam temple in the Kothagudem district and perform special pujas.
On this occasion, she will inaugurate the 'Prashad' a project undertaken by the Central Department of Tourism. She will virtually inaugurate the 'Wide Plate Mill Plant' set up by Midhani from there.
From 3 pm to 3.30 pm, the President will visit the famed UNESCO heritage site- Ramappa temple in Warangal district and open the Prasad project there as well. She will also lay the foundation stone for several projects related to the Central Department of Culture. After the Warangal trip she will return to Hyderabad.
29th December
The President on the 29th will visit the Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science in Shaikepet from 11 am to 12 pm and interact with the students.
From 5-6 PM she visit the Statue Of Equality of Sri Ramanujacharya Swamy at Shamshabad.
30th December
On the 30th morning, she will visit Sri Ramachandra Mission in Shantivanam, Rangareddy District, and participate in various activities held there from 10 am. She will also participate in the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramachandra Maharaj.
The President will also address Anganwadi and Asha workers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She will launch the slogan 'Har Dil Dhyan…Har Din Dhyan' under the auspices of the Central Department of Culture.
The President will return to the Rashtrapathi Nilayam at 1 pm to have lunch and leave for Delhi by afternoon.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police in view of the visit of Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, to the city on Friday announced traffic restrictions between 3 pm and 9 pm in different areas.
At 3 pm – The Vice President convoy will proceed to Genome Valley, Turkapally via PNT Flyover, Rasoolpura, CTO, Plaza X Roads, Tivoli X Roads, Secunderabad Club In gate, Karkhana, Trimulgherry X Roads, Lothkunta, Telangana Thalli Statue, Alwal, Ayyappa Swamy Temple, Bollarum check post, Hakimpet Y Junction and Genome Valley where a program is scheduled.

The Vice President of India will leave Raj Bhavan and proceed to Hitex Exhibition Center, via V V Statue, Eenadu Building, Old KCP, Ansari Manzil, Taj Krishna Junction, Road No. 1/7, Road No. 1/ 4 NFCL Junction SNT Junction, Sagar Society, NTR Bhavan Junction, Jubilee Check Post, Road No. 45 Junction, Road No. 45 Flyover, Cable Bridge and Hitex Exhibition Centre.
At 8 pm – The convoy will proceed to Begumpet from Hitex Exhibition Centre via Cable Bridge, Road No. 45 Junction, Jubilee Hills Check Post, NTR Bhavan, Sagar Society, SNT Junction, NFCL Junction, Punjagutta flyover, Praja Bhavan, Green Lands flyover, Begumpet flyover, HPS, Shyamlal building, Under PNT flyover left turn, Begumpet Airport. The traffic police requested the citizens to take note of the restrictions and plan their journey accordingly.

A poster war erupted between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Hyderabad ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to attend the BJP’s National Executive Committee meeting on July 2 and 3. The meeting will be attended by the top functionaries of the party from across the country.
The city centre was flooded with flags and banners in saffron and pink colours, representing the TRS and the BJP respectively. Huge cutouts displaying Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president, JP Nadda, and Telangana BJP president, Bandi Sanjay, were erected by the BJP in Hyderabad.
Similarly, cutouts and banners set up by the TRS displaying Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha were seen at the Necklace Road in Hyderabad.
The TRS posters welcomed Presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha with the tagline, “Let's change the change. We support Shri Yashwant Sinha Ji in the election for President of India.”
The BJP posters read, “Welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the BJP National Executive Committee Meeting.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Hyderabad to attend the BJP’s National Executive Committee meeting at HICC Novotel in Madhapur on July 2 and 3.
The Cyberabad Police Commissioner has also issued orders imposing Section 144, prohibiting any assembly of more than five persons in the limits of Cyberabad Commissionerate from July 1 to July 4.
