From the south...
Avanti West Coast operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street (with a journey time of just over two hours). Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.
M&S Bank Arena is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10 minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 (7am – 8pm) directly to the venue. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your train ticket.
Most Liverpool city centre bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a five minute walk to M&S Bank Arena.
For further information on bus routes within Merseyside, you can visit https://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/customer-information/routes-and-maps/

Flying into Liverpool John Lennon Airport...
A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of M&S Bank Arena, while Manchester’s international airport is just 45 minutes away by car.
For all car journeys it's best to follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront. These signs are visible on the major routes into the city. Exhibition Centre Liverpool is situated on the Kings Dock directly adjacent to the south side of the Albert Dock. Upon arrival, the Kings Dock entrance is clearly sign posted.
From the North...
Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.

Elton John's Rocketman movie will tour the UK and Ireland with a live orchestra
11 February 2020, 15:53 | Updated: 14 September 2023, 15:52
Rocketman wowed cinema audiences around the world last year, and it's now heading out on a special tour.
The award-winning Elton John musical biopic will be shown live in concert across the UK and Ireland, with a full orchestra performing its soundtrack live.
Rocketman follows the story of Elton John ’s early life and career, and how he became one of the world's biggest pop stars and celebrities.
Directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Lee Hall, the film stars actor Taron Egerton as Elton, and Jamie Bell as his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin.
The film will be projected onto massive ultra-HD screens, while the orchestra on stage performs the music of Elton John for the Rocketman Live In Concert – the Film with Live Orchestra tour.
Starting in Dublin on June 3, the tour will also head to Birmingham (June 5), Brighton (June 11), London’s Eventim Apollo (June 13) and Glasgow (June 17), before the final show in Edinburgh on June 18.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (February 14) via here.
Taron Egerton won a Golden Globe for his performance, while Elton and Bernie won their first Oscar earlier this week for the film's original song 'I'm Gonna Love Me Again'.

Rocketman: live in concert.
Take a journey to stardom with a film that charts the life of music legend Elton John, accompanied by a full orchestra performing its world-renowned score.
The critically acclaimed, Oscar-winning Rocketman by Paramount Pictures breaks into even more stratospheric territory, projected onto a huge ultra-HD screen, while an on-stage orchestra brings to life the iconic music of Sir Elton John.
Rocketman depicts the fascinating and tumultuous story of Elton John’s life and journey, from a shy, self-conscious boy who taught himself piano, to one of the most decorated, successful and colourful icons of popular music.
Directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Lee Hall, the film sees award-winning actor Taron Egerton take on the lead role, singing his way through Elton’s success with ubiquitous hits such as ‘Your Song’, ‘Tiny Dancer’ and ‘I’m Still Standing’.
The film also stars Jamie Bell as Elton’s longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as Elton’s first manager, John Reid, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton’s mother Sheila Farebrother.
It’s going to be a long, long time ‘til you get the chance to see a show like this again.

Ronnie O’Sullivan names his top five snooker players of all time – but he doesn’t make the list
Share this with
Ronnie O’Sullivan put together his top five snooker players ever, although his list is different to anyone else considering the quintet, as he didn’t put himself in there.
When speaking at the Shanghai Masters after beating Ali Carter 6-3 in his opening contest in the non-ranking event, the Rocket gave his low down on the best players to have played.
Asked for his top five ‘legend players in history’ at a post-match press conference, O’Sullivan said: ‘ Stephen Hendry , number one. Steve Davis, number two. Joe Davis, number three. Ray Reardon, number four. John Higgins, number five.’
Asked whether he should have a place in the list, he said: ‘I don’t name myself.’
The Rocket and the Wizard will resume their rivalry on the table, which dates back over 30 years when they used to batle it out as junior players.
O’Sullivan has always been full of respect and admiration for the Scot and he knows it will be a tough test when they meet on Thursday.
‘I’ve already put him in my legends list, so everyone knows what I think about John as a player,’ said O’Sullivan.
‘He’s been playing really well so far this season, he looked good in Germany , looked phenomenal in his matches here so far’ he said at the time.
More recently O’Sullivan comfortably won his first round of the 2024 World Snooker, with the world number one hammering 22 year old Jackson Page 10-1 in Sheffield, strolling into the last 16 where he will face Ryan Day.
‘I was like a rabbit in the headlights first four frames, just couldn’t get anything going. It was just bad really. Managed to get a break in the seventh frame, but apart from that it was poor, wasn’t good at all,’ said Page.
‘It’s always tough playing Ronnie, he puts you in positions and I couldn’t get in. He puts you in positions and you know you can’t miss. You know your safety has got to be good and mine wasn’t today or yesterday.
‘I like playing against the best players because usually I bring my best game, but I just didn’t. You can’t play well all the time, so I’ll just look forward to the next.’
Speaking about O’Sullivan Page descibred the rocket as a man with an aura about him, one that makes him one of the ebst – and annoying – players in the wrold.
‘‘I’m not even too bothered about that but he does have it and you feel it. He just puts you in positions that not many people can do. It’s just a nightmare.’
O’Sullivan will next play in the World Snooker Championship on Sunday, April 28.
