Enclosed  Trailer Manufacturer Highlights  

The amazing thing about an enclosed trailer is that they can be used for almost anything! They provide your cargo protection from the outside elements; thus, you can store anything from sensitive equipment and tools to big-ticket items like cars and ATVs It’s also possible to customize these trailers with shelves, sinks, and other fixtures, turning your trailer into a mobile workshop or temporary home. Standard sizes for enclosed trailers are between 5 and 8.5 feet wide. Lengths can vary from 8 to 32 feet long, and heights can be customized to be raised incrementally by 6 inches. Below are some brands we chose which are both well-built and reliable.  

Homesteader Trailers

GVWR:  7,000 – 9,950 pounds (bumper pull)

Stealth Trailers

GVWR : 2000-21,000 pounds (bumper pull) Offering up eight different lightweight cargo trailers, Stealth delivers a lot of features for the price. From their entry-level Mustang to the heavy monster hauler like the Hercules. Haulmark offers four types of enclosed trailers which all have a V-nose style. The heavy duty and aluminum constructed Grizzly ALX yields a lightweight trailer that can haul payloads up to 6,290 pounds. It is 38' long and 103" wide, and is powered by the Cummins 8.3 turbo Diesel 6 cyl engine, coupled with an Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. It has new brakes, and new front rotors, and has a Pac Brake for additional braking control. The bedroom has a queen size mattress , with a mirrored headboard with hang up closets and drawers on both sides, as well as large mirrored door closets and a drawer stack at the foot of the bed. There is also a hide-a-table for coffee table use. For entertainment, there is a dvd player, a cd player, a cassette player, and surround sound. A new digital antennae provides local broadcasting HD channels. There is also a back up camera for keeping an eye on your tow vehicle, and for backing safety. There is a very large lighted basement storage and cargo area, with large gas shock assisted stainless steel doors for easy access. There are 6 nearly new Michelin tires with less than 3 k miles, and also 4 new gas shocks . This coach also has an easy to use hydraulic leveling system, with a warning system to prevent inadvertent movement with the feet down. One sink next to the shower and another in the lavatory, Double door fridge and freezer works great even when its hot out side. Two A/C units as well as two furnaces. Kitchen has double sinks and water filter system, microwave/confection oven and a three burner propane stove top. The outside of the coach has large cargo bays with doors that open to the side. All this powered with a CAT 350 HP and Allison six speed transmission (tons of power). This is a dream coach for snowbirds. Day and night shades, mini blinds over kitchen and bathroom windows, and pull down sunshades for front and side windows. There is a new color backup camera for driving and parking safety. We had a new professionally installed entertainment system added. The front overhead cabinets were modified to accommodate a new 32 inch LCD HD TV . new HD satellite system, and there is a DVD player, sony receiver with Boston acoustic surround sound speaker system- the sound is awesome! The bedroom has a new pullout and turn 24 inch LCD HD TV. There is a also the HD sony tuner with single cd in dash and speakers in the front of the coach and 6 CD changer. The interior is truly lovely in light Ivory and tan shades. The driver and passenger seats are 6 way electric and done in ultraleather as is the comfy recliner. The sofa will convert to a bed and there are additional chairs and leaf for the dining table as well as a coffee table stored in the bedroom closet. There is a desk area with power in front of the copilot seat and a phone jack and power at the dining table. The fridge is a Norcold 4 door and all recalls have been done. The stove top is a two burner Gagineau with solid surface covers and the micro/convection . Heliport Trailer

The Safari Heliport trailer is custom made for transporting your Safari or other helicopter. For experienced pilots, landing can be done directly on the cargo bed. You are 15 minutes from fly to drive. Its cargo bed is 8 feet by 16 feet.

Each trailer has 2,500 pounds tandem axle suspension, four wheels and one spare wheel. The trailer is designed to tip forward allowing for the attachment of ramps (included) for manual loading and un-loading. A full width splash guard is located at the front to help protect your Safari from road damage.

Each trailer comes with front and rear blade braces. When the helicopter is secured in place, these blade braces allow you to support blades for travel. No need to remove blades before traveling and none to re-attach when you get there.

Trailer frame and accent areas are painted Black. The balance of the trailer is Grey in color. Highway trailer lighting, tongue jack with caster and ball hitch, with safety chain are included.
