The album adds to their already impressive collection of chart successes! Over the course of their illustrious history, SCOOTER have spent more than 500 weeks in the singles charts and 300 weeks in the albums charts and have sold over 30 million units. In addition, they have more than 130 gold and platinum records from all over the world.

No other German band has as many top ten hits as the most successful artists of all time, such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Rihanna or Depeche Mode!

The impressive SCOOTER documentary FCK2020 – once again underlines the band’s success and can be seen on Netflix.

Scooter- formed in 1993 are a three piece band from Hamburg in Germany. They describe themselves as a 'techno hard dance' musical style.

The excitable boys from Hamburg have had a successful musical career, comprising of impressively selling over 30 million records and over 80 gold and platinum awards. Subsequently, the band are considered the most successful German single-record act with 23 top ten hits.

In 1989, the band, formerly called 'Celebrate the Nun', released their first album, titled, "Meanwhile". It was very successful and one of their singles, named, "Will You Be There" excitably reached number one in 1990 the Billboard Dance/Club play.After various member departures 'Scooter' formed in 1993 and they released their debut single, titled, "Vallée De Larmes" which translates to 'Valley of Tears'. Considering the mix of members and band name change, the release was successful and reached an exciting number eight on the German official dance chart.

Presently, Scooter is comprised of three members; lead man H.P. Baxxter, Phil Speiser and Michael Simon.

Scooter retain a unique techno and dance style, which manly features fast tempos and happy melodies, however they have also successfully experimented with various styles of musical genres including hip hop, hard rock, hard style and jump style dance sub genres. Leadman H.P. Baxxter raps frequently in Scooter's songs, whilst also using artificially pitched voices.

Well, what can I say about Scooter? To start with they are one of the most successful techno groups ever, with record sales eclipsing 30 million and to date have over 80 gold and platinum awards t their name. This along with having 23 Top Ten hits means they are the most successful German act.

I expected a high energy, larger than life performance when I went to see them in London in 2012, and did they disappoint? Not at all! It was an incredible concert, they got the places rocking and all in all was a cracking night! From them walking on stage and H.P Baxter announcing “Hello, it’s good to be back’ all the way till their encore of ‘Fire’ and ‘David Doesn’t Eat’ , the performance was of the highest level. They clearly love what they do and seem to enjoy the night as much as myself in the audience. With a their trademark combination of fast, energetic beats, great hooks and catchy melodies they got everyone singing along and dancing. Actually the word ‘dancing’ doesn’t do it justice! The crowd was wild, they simple just didn’t stop raving!Scooter managed to play most their big hits including ‘Hyper Hyper, Move Your Arse’ ‘The ‘Only One’ and The Leading Horse’ as well as number of others.

A superb concert for any Techno fans! If they make it back to the U.K make sure you get a ticket!

Perhaps Germany's most well known and most appreciated export to the dance circuit, Scooter have enjoyed a largely successful career and continue to take a live show compiled of their greatest hits to the baying masses. With a huge discography spanning three decades, the group has had to consolidate the music into a snappy set yet due to the pace they have chance to play a lot of the fan favourites.

The audience is responsive throughout to frontman H.P. Baxxter as he encourages them to jump higher and dance faster to the opening beats of the aptly chosen 'Hello! (Good to Be Back)'. The energy does not drop all evening as the whole outfit onstage perform with such vigour and enthusiasm, the crowd clearly feels obliged to join in. There is no provocation needed though during the familiar 'Jumping All Over The World' and 'Nessaja' which has the crowd dancing as one single unit.

Baxter continues to bring the party vibes and really does his duties as a frontman, through the lights you can see him dancing and moving continuously until the final pulsating beat of 'Ramp! (The Logical Song)'. The band leaves having given the audience a lesson in classic trance.

Fantastic night, the guy creates a great atmosphere. We left feeling hyper hyper. Just a great artist to listen to whilst driving fast to take away any stresses you may have in life. Brilliant!

Loved seeing scooter full of life. Kept me buzzing for weeks after. Going to see them again and again. Such an amazing experience. And the support acts were grate DJ Jerome was amazing to.

It was an Amazing concert. My first but not last ;-) i can not wait for the next one. It was a good outdoor place to hold a concert. So thanks for a fantastic night.

Arguably one of Europe’s most successful techno acts, Scooter, announced today that they will be returning to the UK and Ireland later this year as part of their 30th-anniversary tour – the ‘Thirty, Rough and Dirty’ tour. Kicking off their tour at Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Wednesday 30th October 2024, the trio around frontman H.P. Baxxter is set to give fans an unforgettable party and celebration of Scooter hits – old and new!

Tickets for Scooter’s tour go on pre-sale from Wednesday 10th April at 10am local time – including artist and three presale – with general on-sale following on Friday 12th April at 10am local time via LiveNation.co.uk . VIP packages are also available via VIPNation.eu/Scooter .

The anniversary tour news follows from the band’s latest milestone which is the release of their 21st studio album – ‘Open Your Mind and Your Trousers’. Boasting over 30 million albums sold globally and more than 100 gold and platinum awards, Scooter’s latest offering is a testament to their enduring musical prowess. The album, featuring 15 tracks in their signature style, includes previously released singles such as ‘Techno is Back’, ‘Rave & Shout’, ‘Waste Your Youth’, ‘For Those About To Rave’.

The ‘Thirty, Rough and Dirty’ tour kicked off last month in Stuttgart, Germany, and will now continue throughout Europe this spring before coming to the UK and Ireland in October and November.

Currently, the Stagecoach Bluebird Jet Service 727 runs regularly from Aberdeen City Centre to Aberdeen Airport, stopping in the TECA site.

Arguably one of Europe’s most successful techno acts,  Scooter , announced today that they will be returning to the UK and Ireland later this year as part of their 30th-anniversary tour – the ‘Thirty, Rough and Dirty’ tour. Hitting venues including London’s OVO Arena Wembley, the trio around frontman H.P. Baxxter is set to give fans an unforgettable party and celebration of Scooter hits – old and new!  

The anniversary tour news follows from the band’s latest milestone which is the release of their 21 st studio album – ‘Open Your Mind and Your Trousers’ . Boasting over 30 million albums sold globally and more than 100 gold and platinum awards, Scooter’s latest offering is a testament to their enduring musical prowess. The album, featuring 15 tracks in their signature style, includes previously released singles such as ‘Techno is Back’ , ‘Rave & Shout’ , ‘Waste Your Youth’ , ‘For Those About To Rave’.

Scooter, a techno titan and a beacon of musical ingenuity, has etched an indelible mark on the global music scene. From their roots in Hamburg, Germany, the band, led by the charismatic H.P. Baxxter, soared to prominence with over 30 million albums sold and more than 2.5 billion streams worldwide. Their track record boasts 23 top ten hits and a consistent presence in the charts, highlighted by their latest album "OPEN YOUR MIND AND YOUR TROUSERS" reaching #2 in Germany and #2 in the UK Dance charts.

Scooter's live performances are legendary, having captivated audiences in over 1000 sold-out shows across Europe and headlined major festivals with their spectacular act.
