Channels [ ]

Ungespielt [ ].

ungespielt is his main channel, which has over 2 million subscribers and on which over 1,700 videos have already been uploaded, some of which were previously on one of his old channels. He had several other channels in the past, but now he uploads all of his videos on here.

unge was Unge's vlog channel. He was active on this channel from December 20, 2014 to May 2, 2016, after giving up his old channels Ungespielt (active again since August 4, 2015) and Ungefilmt (inactive).

He published a video on his former channel ungefilmt in which he announced that he would no longer operate the channels ungespielt (now active again) and ungefilmt (inactive) and would merge the content on the new channel unge. One reason for this was Mediakraft Networks , with which Simon had “differences”. The video in which he explained his situation triggered a huge shitstorm against the multi-channel network. His message to Mediakraft spread via social networks and the hashtag #freiheit was in Twitter trends for several days not only in German-speaking countries but also internationally. Many YouTubers confirmed Simon's statements, while others said they were satisfied with the network. The majority of video makers sided with Unge. The YouTube trio ApeCrime also left the network shortly afterwards.

On May 2, 2016, he published a video in which he announced that he no longer wanted to continue this channel, to allow him to better concentrate on his main channel, ungespielt. He set all of the channel's videos to private, but tried to republish them on ungespielt as unlisted.

Since March 3rd, 2018, Simon has been regularly uploading videos to Unge again, dealing with the topics of veganism and his planned emigration. Furthermore, all previously uploaded videos could be accessed again. He also caused a scandal with a polarizing video about milk , which was covered in major mass media and got its own hashtag on Twitter . He claimed that milk is poisonous and harmful to humans. He did this to draw attention to the fact that cows are often kept in poor conditions and the environment is destroyed for factory farming and the animals' food. In a following video he took another serious look at the topic and explained his actions.

This was followed by a number of satirical videos that, among other things, discussed chemtrails , that oil is poison and that we are all living in a computer simulation .

At the moment, mainly vlogs are uploaded to the channel.

ungefilmt [ ]

ungefilmt was Simon's vlog channel, which had been inactive since December 2014 following his dispute with Mediakraft.

From March 7, 2016 to May 2, 2016, the channel was active again and was used by Unge for random cell phone videos.

On May 2, 2016, he set all of the channel's videos to private, but uploaded larger projects, such as the Longboard Tour , to the ungespielt channel.

Since March 3, 2018, all of the channel's videos have been made available again.

unschwer [ ]

unschwer was Unge's real-life channel, which was founded on May 24, 2011.

All videos on the channel have now been deleted.

Neugelebt [ ]

Neugelebt was another one of Unge's channels, which was founded on October 28th, 2018, the first channel in a long time that didn't have anything with "unge" in its name. This channel was initially intended for videos on the topic of emigration. He did so, until he became inactive on the channel and moved all videos to ungespielt.

Hochformat [ ]

On November 3rd, 2019, Unge founded Hochformat , a daily vlog channel that he recorded upright with his cell phone. The first video on this channel came online on November 5th, 2019.

Ungespielt or Unge (*31.08.1990 in Erkelenz), real name Simon Wiefels is a German YouTuber, streamer and influencer. Since the founding of his channel, Unge has always operated various side channels. In May 2011, he opened a YouTube channel called Unschwer, where he covered topics such as longboarding and veganism. Later, he launched his channel Unproblematisch, where he regularly presented tips on living as a vegan and corresponding recipes. His breakthrough finally came in the summer of 2012 with the channel Ungespielt, when he devoted more time to Minecraft Let's Plays. Today, he is considered one of the founders of the German Minecraft scene and has set up various projects and events that have been extremely well received by the community. Unge is known for being a self-confessed vegan by conviction and talks about it openly in his streams and videos.

Back in 2014, Unge was able to enjoy the golden YouTube Play Button, which is awarded when creators break the 1 million subscriber mark. Especially in the early days, he appealed to a wide range of people with his diverse programming, thus combining lifestyle with gaming. In 2015, the native Rhinelander finally decided to take a trip around the world and record the whole thing in a large vlog series. At the end of 2018, he emigrated with his family to the Portuguese island of Madeira, where he still lives today, as of December 2020.

In addition to his activities as a Creator, Simon Unge is now also an entrepreneur and investor. He owns several properties on Madeira and in Germany and invested considerable sums in the "Beyond Meat" share early on, which turned out to be a smart decision due to its great stock market success.

- Language: German

- Artist name: Unge / Simon Unge / Ungespielt

- Civil name: Simon Wiefels

- Age, date of birth: 30, 31.08.1990

- YouTube subscribers: approx. 4 million

- Twitch followers: approx. 1 million

- Twitter followers: approx. 2.3 million

- Instagram followers: approx. 2.5 million

Since the early days, Unge has been active on YouTube as a creator and has kept it that way until today. Unlike many other German streamers, he does not broadcast his livestreams on Twitch but on YouTube as well - thus, he reaches all the subscribers he has acquired over the years with his streams and can address his entire community on a single platform. Although almost 1 million people follow him on Twitch, Unge hasn't streamed on Twitch in years. He himself justifies his decision to stream on YouTube by saying that it's the biggest video platform and he doesn't want to "split up" his community. During a stream in August 2018, Unge compared the three predominant platforms at the time, Twitch, YouTube & the newly formed Mixer, admitting that while Twitch has some advantages over YouTube, he is extremely happy being a YouTube streamer.

ungespielt-logo.jpg

In addition to his main channel ungespielt, Simon runs a secondary channel called Hochformat. There he presents short daily vlogs on all kinds of topics in the Instagram-typical portrait format. When it comes to the videos on this channel, he apparently places particular emphasis on making the whole thing look more like a long Instagram story, because you hardly see any cuts, intros or other things that are otherwise common in classic YouTube videos. The clips always seem authentic, honest and have an average length of about 10 minutes. The first video on this channel was uploaded in November 2019.

The content of his streams and videos varies greatly, as Unge has not committed to any particular topic. In his streams, he spends most of his time playing video games with his community and friends in Discord, responding to other YouTube videos, or talking with chat. Since 2016, his main channel still occasionally uploads newly produced videos, but the majority of all uploads are compilations of highlights from his streams.

Simon Wiefels was born in Erkelenz, where he lived with his mother and siblings until 2014. When Simon was nine years old, his and his family's lives were turned upside down by the sudden death of his father. In an emotional stream, Unge spoke of his past, including how he was bullied at school and how his father's death still weighs heavily on him today. He decided he wanted to help people and began training as an educator in 2010, which he completed three years later. Inspired by his success as a creator, he turned his back on his home town of Erkelenz and moved to Cologne, 70 km away, which was considered the "YouTuber capital" at the time.

ungespielt-1.jpg

There he made contacts with other Creators, which led to him living with other streamers and YouTubers from time to time. Together with Dner and Nouschka, Unge eventually founded the YouTube House - also in Cologne. The idea behind it was to create a place where creators live together and produce unique video content with bundled creativity. Until its dissolution in 2018, many different personalities lived in the house, including: Unge, dner, rewinside, Jodie Calussi, Taddl, Paluten & Peterle. In the course of preparing for his grand tour of the world and because he felt harassed by fans camping outside the house and invading his privacy, Unge left the YouTube house in February 2015.

The longboard tour is considered a major YouTube event in Germany. In September 2014, Unge, Dner, Cheng Loew and Julien Bam embarked on an unprecedented journey. Within a few weeks, the four covered 1400 kilometers on their longboard, riding from Sylt to Neuschwanstein Castle. They recorded daily updates in vlogs, which were always uploaded to the YouTuber's respective channels in the evening of the day - provided there was Internet access in the accommodation. The project made such big waves that even the Stern TV camera team accompanied and documented the entire tour. During the longboard tour, die-hard supporters had the opportunity to accompany the main protagonists for a while on their way to Bavaria. In each city, legions of fans waited for the boys as they passed the daily stage, and a veritable longboard hype developed among German youths.

While still in the YouTube house, Unge announced that he would be taking a trip around the world. His trip started in Los Angeles on April 14, 2015, and fans could vote for where he was going next on a specially set up website. Simon posted new vlogs from the trip daily on his channel, breaking all YouTube records at the time. After some complications, cast changes and interruptions, Unge broke off the world tour a few months later and moved back to Cologne, finally landing in Hamburg in 2017.

In December 2014, a dispute arose between Unge and his then YouTube network Mediakraft. In a video he released, the creator announced that he was putting both of his channels on hold due to various disagreements with Mediakraft. For example, disagreements of a financial nature arose in the context of the aforementioned longboard tour. Mediakraft had promised Unge financial and organizational support in dealing with this costly undertaking, but at no point did it follow through on these promises. Instead, the network intervened in the channel structure and removed videos or changed them accordingly. After Unge's official termination, Mediakraft to a certain extent stood up to him and threatened to prevent the termination by any means necessary. The whole thing culminated in the entire Twitter and YouTube community backing Unge alongside major creators, resulting in a veritable shitstorm. In 2015, Unge finally signed a contract with Maker Studios and revived his old main channel.

ungespielt-freundin.jpg

At the end of 2018, Simon Wiefels announced that he was emigrating to Portugal. So, together with his girlfriend Sabine, he moved to an apartment on the island of Madeira, where he still lives happily with Sabine and the rest of his family. Unge has already bought some real estate on Madeira and has mentioned in various streams that he has no plans to leave Madeira anytime soon.

Unge was nominated with his channel ungespielt at the Webvideopreis 2017 in the category "Best Live Stream", but could not prevail against the Marmeladenoma. Apart from the classic awards, he can look forward to a loyal and large YouTube community. He is considered to be a "bedrock" of the German streaming and creator scene and enjoys the respect of almost all major YouTubers. In addition to the nearly 4 million subscriptions on his channel and about 400,000 subscriptions on his portrait channel, 5 million people follow him on social media, making him one of the biggest influencers in the German-speaking world. His Reaction videos register millions of clicks every month and as of today, December 2020, he already has 1.5 billion video views on his main channel.

Unge is undoubtedly one of the wealthiest creators in the German-speaking world. Due to his streams and the resulting highlight videos, the vegan brings it to a monthly revenue of about 140,000 euros. In addition, he owns some real estate in Germany as well as on his home island Madeira, he always proves to have the right intuition when it comes to investments and was thus able to acquire a fortune of around 5 million euros. Due to the fact that his channels have been growing steadily for almost 9 years, it can be expected that this streak of success will continue for some time.

Estimated net worth: approx. 5 million euros

Estimated monthly income: approx. 140,000 euros

Unge was born on August 31, 1990 in Erkelenz near Mönchengladbach . He and his siblings grew up with his mother, since his father died when Unge was nine years old. He completed his training as an educator in 2013 . [3] Before that, he had worked in an institution for the mentally handicapped. [4] In early 2014, Unge moved to Cologne . [5] In January 2015, Unge for shorter time shared his apartment with another YouTuber who uploads under the pseudonym of "Peterle" videos on YouTube. [6] In March 2015, another YouTuber with the pseudonym "Reyst" lived with him, who also initially accompanied him on his world tour. [7]

Unge moved to Hamburg in 2017 . At the end of 2018, he and his partner moved into an apartment on the Portuguese island of Madeira and, according to his own account, acquired a plot of land and a few months later several properties on the island. [8] [9]

For several years now, Unge has lived a life without animal products. The vegan life is often a topic in his numerous streams on YouTube.

YouTube channels and live streams

In May 2011, Unge started uploading videos on the topic of longboards and dreadlocks on the Unschwer channel . [10] At the beginning of 2012 he opened the channel without any problems , on which vegan recipes followed. [11] Both channels presented Unge later and put out some videos. In July 2012 he started producing Let's Plays and founded the channel Ungespiel for this purpose . [11] Since then, he invited there regularly self-produced videos high.

One of the reasons why Unge is accorded great importance in the Minecraft Let's Play scene is that he helped initiate the introduction of major projects. Together with the YouTuber GermanLetsPlay , he organized the Minecraft project Varo (short for Vanilla Roleplay ), in which many YouTubers took part. A total of four seasons of Varo ran . He also organized the Minecraft project Suro (= Survival Roleplay), which ran over several seasons . In addition to Minecraft, Unge also occasionally produced videos about The Sims 4 and horror games like Slender - The Eight Pages on this channel .

On his second channel Ungefilmt he regularly published vlogs and other real-life videos. Here, among other things, he also deals with the topic of emigration. The channel is also set.

On 20 December 2014 disputes were with its network Mediakraft Networks known [10] after which Unge the new channel Unge launched for all subsequent video (see the section problems with Mediakraft Networks ) and its channels unfilmed on 20 December 2014 and Unplayed 29 December 2014 discontinued. On August 4, 2015, Unge stated in a video on Unplayed that, after an eight-month break, he would now upload his Let's Plays on this channel again. [12] On May 2, 2016, around a year and a half after the Unge Canal opened , the last video appeared there, in which Unge reported on the future of his channels. Accordingly, Unge and Unfilmed will no longer be used and all content will only be published on the old Unplayed channel in the future . [13] The videos of the channel Unge were moved to the channel Unplayed . [14]

Unge regularly broadcast Let's Plays in the form of a live stream via Twitch or YouTube . In the context of reaching the 100,000 subscriber mark, he hosted a 24-hour live stream, and after reaching the 200,000 subscribers, a 48-hour live stream. On March 19, 2016, he started a 30-day live stream in which different people took turns acting. [15]

In September 2016, Unge changed its channel concept. [16] Since then, the videos uploaded there are mainly stream excerpts from his streams, which he starts every evening at 8:00 p.m. In these he either reacts to content from other Youtubers or he plays games. Unge now only uses YouTube and no other video platform. [17]

Ungeklickt-Logo.png

On September 18, 2016, Unge launched a format called unclicked for the first time , in which he reacts to other YouTube videos in a live stream (first episode was called Let's Watch , then #unklickt ). [18] Sometimes there were cuts or individual reactions as a video on his YouTube channel. [19] In the beginning, he and MiiMii responded to videos with which he later moved into the so-called Stream House with his girlfriend Sabine . [20] Since he emigrated to Portugal on the island of Madeira at the end of 2018, [8] he often streams the format alone, now and then he has guests.

On November 4th, 2019 he created his new channel Hochformat and uploaded his first video to this channel. In portrait mode is a real-life vlog channel which on Instagram is based -Stories and in which the videos for the channel exclusively with the smartphone to be filmed.

Longboard-Tour

In September 2014 Unge made a longboard tour together with YouTubers Dner (real name Felix von der Laden ), Cheng Loew and Julien Bam ( FlyingPandas ). They drove 1,400 kilometers from List on Sylt via Kiel , Hamburg, Leipzig , Halle , Magdeburg , Hof and Ingolstadt to Füssen and Neuschwanstein Castle . [21] [22] During the tour, the four were from the team of the television program Stern TV accompanied; After the longboard tour, on October 15, 2014, Unge and von der Laden were guests on the show. [23] Unge published the videos for this tour daily on his channel unfilmed .

World tour 2015

On February 28, 2015, Unge released a video announcing an upcoming project, a world tour. It began on April 14, 2015 Los Angeles , USA , where he first two months short interruption by a stay in Costa Rica , [24] remained. The viewers were allowed to determine the other goals using the Supz app published in the Google Play Store . The YouTuber Anton Reyst , with whom he recorded his experiences in vlogs , should initially be a constant companion . [25] Later, the world tour was continued with changing companions, since, according to Unge, it should not be tied to conditions. The trip did not take place continuously, but was interrupted again and again so that those involved can travel home to work on other projects. [26] In Live Scores have been reported to date. [27]

Disputes with Mediakraft Networks

simon unge longboard tour

On December 20, 2014, Unge announced through a video he published that he would give up his main channel unplayed and his V-Log channel unfilmed . This is due to disputes with the YouTube network Mediakraft Networks. This company did not provide any non-material or financial support for costly projects such as the longboard tour through Germany, although corresponding commitments had been made after Mediakraft came under pressure through a contract between Unge and Deutsche Telekom for mobile internet access. Videos were also deleted or exchanged during the longboard tour without prior notice. In addition, Mediakraft had threatened him with the Personal bankruptcy to drive, he tried through legal ways to leave the network. [28] [29] [30] Unge stated in an interview with Spiegel Online on December 22nd that he had terminated the contract with Mediakraft, which was still running out. In 2015 he set the video to "private" so that it can no longer be accessed. [28] He also uses his channel Unplayed again as a gaming channel and since May 2, 2016 as a vlog channel. On the channel Unge he published until that date vlogs and on the channel unfilmed small videos he not Unge wanted to upload.

With this step, Unge gave up around 2 million subscribers and a reach of around 30 million views per month. The video triggered a shit storm against media power and an enormous response in social networks. After a short time, hashtags such as #Freedom or #MediaKeineKraftMehr appeared in the Twitter trending topics. His channel Unge , which had already been created as a placeholder in May 2014 and which already had over 450,000 subscribers two days after the video was published, was the new main channel. The channel has now reached over 1.4 million subscribers. [32] [33] The start-up was done by a third person who was independent of Mediakraft, so that the network can no longer exert any influence on the new channel, as Unge announced in a comment on YouTube. [34]

Mediakraft Networks commented on Unge's video on Facebook on December 21, and largely denied the allegations. [35] YouTuber LeFloid , whose Mediakraft contract expired in December 2014, described Unge's step in a video as a “disastrous departure” and paid him “respect”. [36] The ApeCrime trio also did not extend their contract with Mediakraft Networks and thus resigned.

In the summer of 2015, Unge signed a contract with the Maker Studios network , which is part of the Disney group. [37] Meanwhile, since the partnership agreement with the network Mediakraft has expired, he unplayed reactivated as the main channel.

controversy

On June 14, 2015, a tweet in which Unge used the word "disabled" as an insult was criticized by the activist Raul Krauthausen , which provoked numerous tweets from other users with the hashtag "UNHindered" and prompted Unge to delete the tweet and apologize to Krauthausen . [4] He later published a video on the subject of disability that was recorded together with Krauthausen. [38]

Simon Unge Personal Life

Simon Unge was born on 31 August 1990 in Erkelenz near Mönchengladbach to German parents. When he was 9 years old, his father died. His mother raised him ad his siblings as single parents.

Simon is a private person and keeps his family from the limelight of the media so there is not much information present publicly about his family.

Simon Unge Career

In May 2011, Unge started uploading videos related to longboarding and dreadlocks to Unschwer’s channel.  In early 2012, she launched a casual channel, followed by vegan recipes.  He later shut down both channels and removed some of the videos. In July 2012, he started producing Let’s Plays and founded the channel Unspiel.  Since then, he regularly uploaded self-produced videos there. In the Minecraft Let’s Play scene, Unge takes great importance, among other things, because he helped start the implementation of large projects. Together with YouTuber GermanLetsPlay, he organized the Minecraft project Varo, short for Vanilla Roleplay, which involved many YouTubers. In total, Varo ran for four seasons.

He also organized the Minecraft project Suro, a Survival Roleplay, which lasted for several seasons. In addition to Minecraft, he has produced occasional videos for this channel on The Sims 4 and horror games such as Slender – The Eight Pages. On his second channel, Unbefilmt, he regularly published vlogs and other reality videos and discussed topics such as immigration. The channel is also fixed.

On December 20, 2014, disputes with his network Mediakraft Networks became public, and its channels Unfilmed on December 20, 2014, and Unplayed on December. 29, 2014.

On August 4, 2015, Unge announced in an Unspiel video that he would be re-uploading his track Let’s Plays to the channel after an eight-month hiatus.  On May 2, 2016, about a year and a half after the opening of Unge’s channel, the last video appeared there, in which Unge reflected on the future of his channels. Therefore, Uni and Unfilmed will no longer be used and all content will be published only on the old Unspielt channel.

Unplayable channel videos have been moved to an unplayable channel.  Unge regularly broadcasts Let’s Plays on Twitch or YouTube. He hosted a 24-hour live stream to reach 100,000 subscribers and a 48-hour live stream after reaching 200,000 subscribers. On March 19, 2016, he started a 30-day live stream with different people in turn. In September 2016, Unge changed its channel concept. Since then, the videos uploaded there have mostly been excerpts from his streams, which he starts every night, except Fridays, when he usually doesn’t stream or only streams IRL, at 8:00 p.m. While streaming, he either reacts to the content of other Youtubers or plays games. Until the end of 2021, Unge only used YouTube and no other video platforms.

In 2021. at the end of the year, Unge announced that he was turning his back on YouTube as a streaming platform and returning to the Twitch platform with his live streams. He justified his return by saying that the risk of receiving another warning on YouTube and not doing live broadcasts or videos was too great. He also felt that YouTube treated him unfairly after the previous warning, which he felt was disproportionate. His streaming videos are still uploaded to his YouTube channel.

On September 18, 2016, Unge first published a format called unclicked, in which he reacts live to other YouTube videos, the first part was called Let’s Watch, followed by #unclicked. Some compilations or individual reactions appeared as a video on his YouTube channel. At first, he reacted to videos with MiiMii, with whom he later moved to the so-called. to a house by the stream with his then-girlfriend Sabine. Since he moved to the Portuguese island of Madeira in late 2018, he often streams the format alone, sometimes with guests. On November 4, 2019, he created his new channel Portrait, and uploaded his first video to this channel. Portrait Format is a reality log channel based on Instagram stories, where the channel’s videos are shot exclusively with a smartphone in the portrait format of the same name. He has not uploaded any videos to this channel since September 2020.

Simon Unge Tour

In September 2014, Unge did a longboard tour with YouTuber Dner, real name Felix von der Laden, Cheng Loew, and Julien Bam (FlyingPandas). From List on Sylt, they traveled 1,400 kilometers through Kiel, Hamburg, Magdeburg, Halle, Leipzig, Hof, and Ingolstadt to Füssen and Neuschwanstein Castle. During the tour, the four met the crew of the TV show Stern TV accompanied; after the longboard tour, Unge and von der Laden were guests on the show on October 15, 2014. Unge posted unfilmed videos from the tour on his channel every day.

In July and August 2016, there was an online video project by Unges “0Tour – around the world without money”.  The goal was to travel almost penniless through Germany and neighboring countries. The exceptions were money earned during the tour and food received from spectators or friends. The tour started with streamer Papaplatte in Cologne, where they left the rest of their money with a homeless Heinrich at Cologne Central Station. The tour continued from Dortmund through Hanover to Berlin. After a short stay they continued their journey from Rey via Wohnwagen, Hamburg, Lübeck, Scharbeutz, Hamburg to Frankfurt am Main. There, Unge established new rules, which among other things allowed only one meal with spectators or friends. The tour continued from Stuttgart via Heilbronn, Singen, Stockach, Friedrichshafen, Zurich, Munich, Salzburg, and Munich back to Cologne. Other notable 0Tour guests included Jonah Pueschel, Anton Reyst, Unge’s girlfriend at the time CatyCake, inscope21, Alexander Straub, iReview, and Oskar. Another big part of the tour was the regular fan meetings and so-called #vegancruisers. The mobile game Pokémon GO also played a recurring role at the 0Tour. The project was supported by soft drink manufacturer Mio Mio Mate, and vlogs of the trip were published daily on the Unge channel.

He later released a video of the trees he recorded with Krauthausen.

On March 5, 2018, a YouTuber uploaded a video titled “Milk is Poison.” In it, he explained that milk causes many health problems and claimed that the “milk lobby” “systematically indoctrinates and makes people sick”.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!
