How to reach Bali

The majority of metros of India fly to Denpasar International Airport in Bali. It would take about 8 to 9 hours on a single halt flight. However, depending on the airline and number of halts the aircraft has, it could take upto 36 hours as well.

Once you are in Jakarta, which is the capital of Indonesia, you can take the road and reach Bali. It will take you a day’s journey to reach to the beautiful island. Once there, to travel across the island, there are quite a lot of modes of commuting available. Traditional horse carts known as dokars are occasionally available on the island. You can also explore the islands on ojeks (rental motorbikes), bemos (small vans), taxies and buses. Local boats are also available to take you to the shores of the sister islands of Bali.

The team at SOTC had organised our trip to Italy via Switzerland last month. It was a customised trip for us. Everything went on smooth with no hassles and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The Gondola and Boat rides in Venice was also convenient and personlised as per our need. I was a bit hesitant when I booked through SOTC as I have never gone through a travel agent for my earlier trips to Singapore, Malaysia and Maldives. The hotels and train journeys have been easy and comfortable. The hotels were either close to the airport / station / tourist locations. They were easily locatable on google maps. The visa processing was also smooth because of their guidance and they took initiative to get the visa on time inspite of the rainy weather in Bangalore during that week. It was a hasslefree trip... Special Mention & Thanks to Ashith and his team for making our trip a memorable one!
