Question and answer

How should I configure the 1470g reader to be able to see the special GS1 characters? e.g. in the attached image, the first reading was performed with the CK65 handheld device. The second reading was performed with the 1470g reader, but I cannot see the GS1 separator character. Thank you.

voyager 1470g driver

Hello, I need to read GS1 standard datamatrix codes (medicines) with a Honeywell 1470g (2D) barcode reader. After some configurations, I managed to read the content, but at the end of the serial number (maximum 20 variable characters field), I should get the character ] to define the end of the serial number and then read the expiration date (code 17). The problem is that I don't see this character and I don't know which scan to perform for it. Below is an image of what I should read (line 1) and what I am reading with the reader in question (line 2). Thank you for your help.
